Dante and Travis work at the same grocery store, but Travis does volunteer work at an animal hospital, and Dante makes music on the side - he has since high school.

Zane is a security guard at the local mall, and also works at the tattoo/piercing shop with Laurance (hates both jobs)

i watched MCD & Mystreet (Some pheonix drop high too.) so much as a teen but then eventually fell out of it . However I never stopped loving characters such as Katelyn & Lucinda. Especially Katelyn, teen me ALWAYS wanted to watch the episodes where she was included or had a big role. I genuinely have started to believe she’s part of my bi awakening.

There was one thing I never liked that had to do with Katelyn though. That was Travis. Them supposedly ending up together too? My memory can be foggy so maybe I’m wrong and they weren’t canon somewhere.

However even now as a grown ass adult I’ll still stand by the fact I don’t like Travlyn. Never did. Travis felt weirdly invasive or creepy to me when it came to her. I swear I can remember him ignoring/pushing her boundaries but it being played as a “haha funny” kind of thing.

annie’s mandatory dance au but featuring aphmau this time

 I’m back on my bullshit because I wanted to satisfy my dancer heart so here we go again, with the Aphmau crew this time. Honestly I’m surprised I haven’t done this before now but I was struck with inspiration so here we are

So they all go to the same studio, namely Phoenix Drop School of Dance, and they’re all trained in most styles. However, each character has a favorite style that they practice the most in and that they excel in.

Also, this would probably make the most sense set in high school, so throwing that into the au as well. More info under the cut!

Aphmau- likes most styles, but if she had to pick a favorite it would be ballet

KC- theatrical jazz, likes cutesy stuff

Katelyn- contemporary ballet, but also has a deep love for musical theatre

Aaron- ballet, very well rounded dancer, excels in most styles. Fantastic jumps

Travis- hip hop and ballet, sometimes mashes them together at random. Very unpredictable

Dante- hip hop / b-boy, likes trying out new tricks, scares all the teachers half to death

Laurance- ballet, also likes contemporary. A great turner.

Garroth- loves tap. Also great at partnering, very reliable

Vylad- contemporary, likes kinda weird choreography. Can move VERY quickly

Zane- doesn’t dance at the studio but works backstage sometimes. Everyone knows him

Lucinda- sophisticated / classic jazz. great control and balance

Cadenza- contemporary with more of a ballet base. Insanely graceful, can definitely tell she’s a dancer just by seeing her walk around

Ivy- jazz and modern, but likes lots of styles. Not a fan of ballet because of how many rules there are compared to other styles

Gene- hip hop. Doesn’t attend the studio, but is the head of a street dance crew called the Shadow Knights. Everyone knows them though because they’ve been invited to dance in a few of Pheonix Drop’s shows before

Sasha- a style of hip hop called animation. She’s crazy good at it. Part of the shadow knights

Zenix- b boy, part of the shadow knights. Tries to be somewhat edgy and fails. They love him anyway
