Magical Boys WIP Intro

Saving their friend (and the whole world, I guess?) with the power of love, magic and being kinda gross.

Falling into a swamp is never fun, but it's worse when it turns out to be a magic swamp with a monster that kidnaps the most popular, princely and perfect guy in school.

It also transforms Billy and his two classmates, Beau and Younes, into very stereotypical magical boys —frills, sparkles and colour-coordinated outfits included.

Not only do they have to navigate this bizarre new world in form-fitting skirts and shorts, they have to do it quickly in order to rescue Arno before the monster that kidnapped him... tries to marry him?

Billy, Beau and Younes have quite a big task ahead of them and that's not even to mention the interpersonal drama teenagers can and will get into when it really isn't the time for it.

Based entirely on my love for the magical girl genre and everything it entails when it comes to modern fantasy romance with my own gay and trans spin on it.

A three-part story catered to a (queer) young adult audience.

“Well there’s contract magic- that’s what Constantine does, along with the majority of prevalent magic users.” Tim nudged her foot out of the way, continuing the chalk circle around them. Sam turned to follow, wondering how he managed to keep the circle so even.

“Wait, who’s Constantine?” Tucker asked. “They’re not in the files.”

“He’s a pain in everyone’s ass.” Danny muttered. “He’s in contract with half the Creatures on this side of the realms. You know the amount of ghosts I got complaining to me cause he tricked them better than they could when they went under contract?”

“Hnn, yeah most wouldn’t take too nicely to getting tricked. Salt please.” Tim handed the chalk to Tucker in exchange for salt from the bag he’d shoved into the other teen’s arms. “And then someone like Zatanna is Born with her magic, but Born are rare, so I doubt one of them would be targeting you three specifically. Leaves us with Creature or Cursed.”

Sam watched in mild amusement as Danny tried to smudge the chalk-and-salt lines, static bursting from the point and making him recoil. “Creature, that would be fae-things right? Ghosts, demons, whatever is made of magic or magic adjacent?”

“Basically. Salt will help with that. The chalk is hopefully for anyone who tries to cast like how I do. Although trying to harness magic by manipulating curses is rare since it involves far too much grave and museum robbing. Lucky for me, mom and dad did the legwork, so I haven’t needed to rob a grave yet. Mind setting this cat pair at the northern and eastern points of the circle?” He offered two tiny stone cats to her and Sam wrapped her hands around them, the smooth stone unnaturally chilled.

Ok so honestly not that much changed from the og design. The wings are diffrent (eyes are a motif of the doodler are in all of these final forms and the purple is also for the doodler) i struggled with them a bit, i still think they could have been better but of well. The backround kinda looks like the old disney intro lol. I wanted him to look more bug like, so the antenne, also him becoming a full butterfly as a kinda transformation. The boots are teeny the teen inspired, i feel like in this final form he can finally embrace being a mascot kid again. The magic is more blue than the usual teal to symbolize love. And that's basiclly it, i dont have much to say today i suppose.

I normally don't do a ton of romance with the turtles unless it's for lore reasons within a story or something (other than leosagi, possibly donsagi and jasonnie). I do ship some of the adults on occasion for fun Mainly Barsonjitsu? (I Think thats the name I forgot) I absolutely don't do nsfw with the turtles. I might make something like a dick/sex joke here and there or a reference to sex within a story but nothing greater than that.

Yves + Magical Girl/Boy AU? :o

Yves magical item is his mother's earring. It's rare for someone to directly inherit power like that and Yves might be the only one of his brothers to do so (to his knowledge, at least)

For the most part, Yves avoided using his powers, both because he feared them at time, and because people didn't react well to his, as they called it, "Obsidianite Powers", that were considered dark and unstable. Even today, with full control over them, and even in more private situations, Yves doesn't use them much.

When he was younger, especially on his teenager years, Yves had poor control of his powers, especially his transformation, that was often triggered when he felt himself in danger or when his emotions enhanced his powers.

He often heard of some of his brothers that, probably because of getting his mother's magical item, too feminine powers, since among Yves's unique abilities was that of enhancing the beauty of things, as well as imbuing his sweets with powers that could enhance natural healing or temporarily boost their emotions positively (the later could work with his music too). But these were all things Yves claimed to be able to do without his powers (and he was mostly right, his powers were just, in a sense, stronger and worked even in situations his natural charm and skills couldn't).

While all the others had one "transformation outfit", Yves could modify his at will.

Yves general magic is light based, and his purification abilities are among the strongest in the castle, despite his fighting powers not being too great compared to the others

I'm the type to do one WIP at a time, although I have a back log of thoughts that are vying for my attention afterwards, should I finish!

My current WIP is my Link Click multichapter fic, nicknamed 'stars' for the time being. I've dropped hints here and there about it, but to give it something of a proper synopsis, the concept is such:

Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang receive an envelope with a single photograph within and a single message: to find the stranger in the photograph. In doing so, they uncover a mystery that is inextricably tied to Cheng Xiaoshi's missing parents and the inter-generational history of Lu Guang's family.

I like to joke it's part mystery, part slice of life, part historical drama, part sci-fi, part travelogue.
