Season 10 I'm watching Gem, Grian, Mumbo, Impulse, Joel, Etho, Skizz, Tango, Scar, Pearl
I'm also going to catch myself up on Xisuma, IJevin, Iskall, and maybe a few others, I haven't decided yet. This will be my first season watching more that Mumbo, Grian, and Pearl's POVs and I am loving every minute of it! I missed out on the sense of a true family I feel in past seasons. If you'll allow me to greedy--Zutara, 46
Hello dear! By all means, please do! I don't often have time for prompts but when I do, I love getting lots of them! 💜
And of course I love writing for zutara 💜How about a little snippet from them hiding out on Ember Island?
46. “Hey, have you seen the..? Oh.”
"You don't have to help with the dishes after you helped make dinner," Katara said for the third time. Zuko just rolled his eyes and lightly bumped his hip against hers.
"I know, but I want to help," he finally said.
"Well... thank you," she said, lamely handing him a bowl to dry.
"Anytime."
For a few moments they worked in silence, save for the water splashing against the dishes, and the sound of Aang and Sokka arguing in the courtyard.
Katara had countless memories of washing dishes in silence, but none of them felt as... comfortable as this. The thought of merely doing mundane chores with Zuko would have made her laugh mere months ago but now... it felt right.
As the pile of dishes shrank, she thought back on the meal they'd made, wanting to ensure every dish was clean before she asked Zuko if he was willing to make her some tea. She looked around for the wok, brow furrowing when she realized it wasn't where she'd left it before dinner.
"Hey, have you seen the...?" Katara trailed off as she turned to face Zuko, who was holding the wok. "Oh."
He grinned, holding it out for her. "Looking for this?"
A quick retort lived and died on the tip of her tongue, her breath stolen by the way Zuko appeared younger when he smiled. Even- cuter, when his lips curled up and his eyes were soft and warm with amusement.
"Oh," she breathed. Her heart pounded in her ears, drowning out the noises of the others outside.
"Katara?" Zuko finally said, his face falling with worry. "Are you okay?"
She forced herself to smile, and took the wok from him. "Fine!" She squeaked. "All fine. Great even!" If she wasn't holding the wok she would have hit her forehead. He didn't look like he believed her, so she tacked on, "Honestly, I just got lost in thought there for a moment."
"If you say so..." he trailed off. She nodded and started furiously scrubbing the wok.
The sooner they finished, the sooner she could head to the beach and waterbend until these new... feelings made any sense.
Send me a prompt and a pairing!
