Today, not something Ranma related (I know, a bit weird, knowing my recent obsession). Last year, I wrote Shadow Girl of Mars, a crossover between The Martian and Naruto (Dreaming of Sunshine). By some freak twist of fate, or by cruel happenstance, the firecracker was angled just so on the statue so that it bounced and landed squarely in the balcony of their second floor motel room, right as Hal saw J’onn step out onto it.

In the split-second before it exploded, Hal remembered that Martians were paralyzed by fire, and worse, that Martian in particular was traumatized by the genocide of his people.

The firecracker exploded into small pathetic fiery bits, but the sound boomed in Hal’s ears and skewered him cold and clear through the guts.

Or, during Chinese New Year's, Hal, J’onn, and Barry have to stay at a motel for a Justice League mission. Hal makes a mistake involving firecrackers, and J'onn suffers--before he doesn't.

Y'know I don't think I've ever seen two sets of wedding rings getting more focus than New Dream and Supermartian's wedding rings.

Rapunzel and Eugene's wedding rings surprisingly got a good amount of focus throughout the franchise.

Tangled Ever After focused on Max and Pascal chasing after the wedding rings after they lost them during the ceremony, but caused a lot of havoc in the process.

Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure showed Eugene was originally planning to give Rapunzel a different ring in the beginning, but he later gets a entirely new one by the time she finally says yes. Plus Eugene's wedding ring was introduced during the special, "Cassandra's Revenge", when Rapunzel attempted to propose to him.

Miss Martian and Superboy's wedding rings also got some focus of their own during Young Justice final season. The couple each had the other's ring in their possession to be kept safe... until their separation.

Miss Martian's ring was destroyed when Superboy was apparently killed (which haunted him while he was trapped in the Phantom Zone)

Superboy's ring remained with Miss Martian as she cherished it as one of the last things she had to remind her of him.

By the end of the series when they finally reunited and tied the knot, the couple finally got to exchange their rings at last. (Miss Martian got a new ring to replace the original that was destroyed)
