“honor” - Jegulus microfic - @into-the-jeggyverse - 478 words
“Reg. You’re literally drooling.” Barty tells him, brushing the corner of Regulus’ mouth to prove his point. Regulus swats his hand away and continues to stare at James Potter.
“Can you blame me? I mean, look at him. And have you read his case studies? The man is brilliant.” Regulus says without looking at Barty.
“You had to drag me here against my will, of course I haven’t read them.”
“Oh, I’m sorry. Did you not want to come and stare at an incredibly gorgeous, incredibly brilliant man for 2 hours?” Regulus finally tears his eyes away from James to glare at Barty.
“Alright, take it down a notch, he’s not that–” Barty stops mid-sentence to smirk at Regulus.
“What?”
“He’s coming over here.”
Regulus’ eyes go wide, and he just stares at Barty, not sure what to do. Barty, the asshole, grabs Regulus’ shoulder to spin him around and push him forward, nearly pushing him right into James Potter.
“Woah, you alright there?” James asks.
“Yes… I’m… you’re… I…” Regulus sputters as he gawks at James. He takes a deep breath then awkwardly reaches out to shake James’ hand. “It’s an honor to meet you, sir.” Regulus says, trying to sound professional but it comes out a little breathy.
“Sir? I could get use to that.” James says with a wicked smirk and Regulus feels his entire face grow hot. “The pleasure’s all mine,…?”
“Regulus.” He says as James takes his hand.
Regulus glances down and when he looks back up, James makes direct eye contact with him. They gaze at each other for a moment, and something settles in Regulus; a confidence he didn’t know he had and he’s not sure where it came from. The corners of his lips turn up in a smile and he watches something shift in the way James is staring at him. James subtly runs his middle finger down Regulus’ palm as he lets go of his hand. Regulus has a sharp intake of breath but doesn’t break eye contact with James.
“Do you have plans after the lecture, Regulus?” James asks and his voice is almost sultry.
“No.” Regulus all but purrs.
“Do you want plans?”
“Yes.” Regulus smiles mischievously. “Sir.” He adds and his smile turns to a smirk.
James’ eyes grow hungry, and he runs his tongue along his bottom lip before pulling it between his teeth. They hold each other’s heated gaze for several more moments before James breaks the silence.
“I’ll see you after the lecture, Regulus.” James whispers with a smile. Regulus smile back with a small nod and watches James walks to the front of the room.
Barty clears his throat breaking Regulus out of his daze. He had honestly forgotten Barty was even there.
“Mmm, I’m starting to see the appeal.” Barty says.
“Back off, Barty.” Regulus hisses and Barty just laughs as they go to find seats.

I agree febfem is an internet term but I think bisexual women using it for themselves even to signal a particular political affiliation is like… fine. it’s not like lesbians haven’t done this too. I disagree someone using a term to describe their own preferences for female partners exclusively necessarily means they’re implying negative stereotypes about other bisexual women being male-centred… it’s to explain something about themselves and their own political beliefs. you may as well say a woman calling herself a feminist and saying this motivates some of her life choices and outlooks necessarily implies other women are anti-feminist and male-centred. I have no real thoughts on the term itself, most bisexual women won’t use it simply because they haven’t heard of it (rather than because they are ‘non-febfem’ etc), but I don’t see why bisexual feminists wanting their own politicised term is necessarily worse than any other group doing the same. it’s fair enough to suggest there can be negative implications of a term that people haven’t considered, but to suggest these women generally have negative intent and are trying to contribute to stigma is what ironically strikes me as trying to limit the actions of bisexual women

Oh Kei! Daihatsu Hijet Van, 1968. If you wanted to create as much space as possible within the kei regulations then a cab-over van was the best solution. This was already the third generation Hijet and the engine had moved to a mid-position between the seats behind the front wheels, driving the rear wheels. The S37 was launched with rear hinged front doors but in 1969 the hinges were moved to the front. It was still powered by a 356cc 2 stroke 2 cylinder engine. There was also a cab-over pick-up

the thing about ship wars is you will have people sitting there genuinely thinking that targeting their hate at another group of people in frankly wild ways while cherry picking the source material to fashion weapons against others in their fandom is all totally okay behavior. as long as you tag your posts correctly, of course. unless that post is tagged correctly with something they don't like. do you think these people will start comparing the arms of the love interests like shippers did with aerith and tifa to see whose much too thin or whose body is far too unappealing for their blorbo? nevermind, this is a gay ship war and these are men, so that type of sexism won't get invol- oh wait.

Can someone write out the romaji or provide links to each of these songs? I want to listen and look at the lyrics to see if I can add any to my Hyakkano playlist where every girlfriend (plus Rentarou) has a song representing them.

i’m too old to beef about it with the majority younger people who use it but To Me the toothpaste flag feels very derivative and disingenuous and like… idk the idea of taking the newly adopted sunset lesbian flag and being like “make it blue and now it’s for boys” feels a little shortsighted to me. like if it’s the flag that GENUINELY feels like home to you, i’m not gonna tell anyone to stop, but i feel like there should at least be an acknowledgment of the toothpaste flag’s origins and why it might not resonate (or even actively rankle) with some gays, particularly older ones.

Suzuki Cervo, 1988. The third generation CG/H72V series Cervo was a bizarre van-like departure from earlier iterations of Suzuki's kei-car coupé. It was still based on the Alto/Fronte but adopted a boxy rear end and very wide C-pillars with the front section of the roof being made of glass. In Japan, its main market, it earned the nick-name "Airbrick." Inside a large grey and bright yellow diagonal pattern covered the seats. It was powered by a 547cc F5B SOHC 12V 3 cylinder engine and was the first series production car with electric power steering. Alas it was outsold by rival kei cars from Daihatsu and Autozam. When new 660 cc Kei regulations were introduced the third generation Cervo was discontinued as Suzuki decided it wasn't worth updating it to match the new legislation.
