Hmmm. No. I still don't take it as canon. I mean it actually isn't canon or truly official, but even if it was made canon and truly official by Riot, I still would reject it.

I don't think they kissed. Like i reject the MV making them kiss and for me they didn't kiss. I don't think whether it was 1 or 2 days or a few weeks or a month, that they did anything. Not with the situation, not with their past, etc.

I prefer and think it better, where they don't kiss and where they know there's something, the love is definitely there, but don't act on it, in in a very very... idk. Conventionally romantic explicit way I mean. I'd rather have this realism, like in term of psychology, and this... I don't know. It is terribly romantic* too, whilst realistic. (* wide meaning including artistic/literary movement.).

For me, timebomb is romantic (wide meaning. encompasses the artistic/literary movement) and poetic, and not into stereotypical and conventional romantic gestures. Not yet I mean, for the MU. (one can be romantic/poetic and have conventional romantic gestures yes. Those are not exclusive in general. Depends how it's done and the context.) Because that's how it was made in canon and what fits their story and them for now.

Ofc in the future I wouldn't mind kisses and all. Would more than welcome them actually. It depends how it'll be done, but I would really more than welcome them in the future.

But right now, where they were in s2, it didn't fit. Even with notions of poetry and romanticism and conventional romantic gesture and personal preferences and thoughts aside I mean. It didn't fit. (psychology and characters and relationship developments and story and context etc )

We didn't need a kiss. (I can like kisses, and more, in pre war, in purely fanon exploratory stuff. But purely as a "this is imagination and fun to explore". My mind is open to exploration and fun. It's for what wants to pass as canon that I take issues with.)

If I go further and into more personal territory, it actually bothers me that one was made. I get it, for most people kisses are needed as a show of romantic love. Like I get it.

And i do acknowledge this is partially personal, why it bothers me that well. we got a more stereotypical conventional show of romantic love. But it bothers me. It feels like a "you all want a conventional show of love in the form of a kiss so here!" whether it truly works or not... It's what's expected so it's what is given.

and it does feel like fan service a little.

I don't like that there's a kiss and I don't want it and... whatever pple believe for themseleves, like be free of course (and again, genuinely happy for those that liked it), but it isn't canon. Like objectively it isn't, but again even if it was made canon by riot I would still reject it personally.

to summarize : I don't think that they kiss fits -where they were with their relationships, where they were individually in their development, the context of the story, psychology, etc.- and was even needed as a show or romantic feelings, like that is outside of personal taste and preferences and feelings I mean.

And ... well inside of personal taste and preferences I also do not like it. I do have a preference for romantic -wide meaning- poetic and not conventional romantic gestures but the love is still there everywhere type of dynamics. (which the mme mv did do and do so well and it has inspired and pushed me so much.)

Also, for me, where they where in s2, it is tentative. For me there is a knowledge and acknowledgement of feelings but no action. Things are still tentative, there's still an open wound, or several, plus the war looming over. They can't show overt big reciprocated gesture of affection yet. It is there but it can't flow freely yet.

I mean again, everyone is free etc etc. But bc everyone is free, i say nope. Not for me.

I am not saying it is a bad MV. I am saying not for me and I think it doesn't fit timebomb in canon to have kissed pre war. And I also as a personal preference prefer them to not have kissed.

(and yes, as a more general parenthesis and tangent: I will be picky about content. It's not bc we don't get a lot that we have to settle for anything. I saw this opinion recently and like no. No no no. We can be picky, we can expect, and demand quality. Actually we should. Floyd’s reactions depend entirely on his mood, but when you’re drunk and vulnerable, he becomes startlingly gentle.

“Aww, Shrimpy’s all wobbly… That won’t do. Gotta keep you safe, huh?”

He’ll scoop you up in one arm, carry you around while muttering about how cute and helpless you look, and won’t let anyone near you. If you’re emotional or woozy, he calms down quick.

“Don’t cry, don’t cry. I’m here, yeah? Your amazing boyfriend gotcha. Squeeze if it hurts.”

He hums in your ear and wraps you up like a burrito in a blanket, arms around you the whole time.

Jamil Viper

Jamil is equal parts frustrated and deeply worried. He masks it with a sigh, but he's 100% locked in “caretaker mode.”

“You didn’t check how many glass you drink, did you? Ha… Sit down. No arguments.”

He’s quiet, firm, and incredibly gentle. Getting you water, medicine, cool towels, and even food to soak up the alcohol. But he can’t hide the way his fingers linger on your cheek, how he watches you with that faint frown of concern.

“You’re allowed to lean on me, y’know. I don’t mind when it’s you.”

Once you’re calm and safe, he sits by your side, tugs a blanket over you, and whispers so quietly you almost miss it:

Trey Clover

Trey is the dad boyfriend in every sense. Calm, composed, gentle, and absurdly competent.

“Easy, love. Sit down before you fall down.”

He guides you to a chair, brings you water with ice, wipes your face gently, and even bakes you something mild to settle your stomach. He talks you through.

“It’s alright. I’ve got you. You’re safe, I promise.”

If you’re emotional, he’ll stroke your hair and hum softly until you relax. Once you’re dozing off, he lingers nearby, watching over you with a small smile.

“I’ll be right here when you wake up, okay?”

Cater Diamond

Cater panics internally, but outside he’s trying to play it cool. He gets more serious than usual especially if you’re stumbling or crying.

“Whoa, babe… okay, deep breaths, okay? Just look at me… there we go. Focus on my voice.”

He'll take a hundred selfies to distract you, but deletes them all after, realizing you might be embarrassed later. He brings water, makes you laugh, and gets you tucked into bed with soft lights and soothing music.

He’ll brush your hair aside and kiss your forehead.

Rook Hunt

Rook finds you breathtakingly poetic in your intoxicated state. That said, he takes care of you like a devoted knight.

“My dear, your skin glows with the blush of wine… but let us preserve your radiance, non?”

He sweeps you into his arms and sets you down with the tenderness of a courtly lover. He brings you warm tea, holds your hand as you sip, and fans you with a velvet handkerchief.

“I shall not sleep while you suffer, ma chérie. Your beauty, even in disarray, is divine.”

His care is sincere, if a bit dramatic. You fall asleep to the soft sound of his French lullabies and poetic whispers.

Silver

Silver’s instinct is protection above all. The moment he notices you wobble, he’s at your side in seconds.

“Careful. I’ve got you. Let me help.”

He holds you close, arms steady and warm, guiding you somewhere quiet where he can watch over you. He brings you a blanket, makes you lie down, and kneels by your side, holding your hand while you drift off.

“Even when you’re vulnerable, you’re strong. I admire that… and I’ll stay with you until you feel better again.”

He hums softly, brushing your hair with such care it brings tears to your eyes.

Lilia Vanrouge

Lilia is playful at first, teasing you about your drunk state until he sees even a hint of discomfort, then switches into protective boyfriend mode in a heartbeat.

“Oh dear, you’re wobbling like a baby bat. C’mere, darling, let Lilia fix you up.”

He brews a strange but effective herbal tea, and holds you while you sip it, rocking you gently. He cradles your face, soft and fond.

Even in chaos, he makes you feel entirely, completely safe.

the following screenshots are taken from a conversation we had in july 2023, where he messaged me after 7 months of no contact and basically tried to make me apologize to him after he ghosted me. i have since blocked him and deleted his number (i had to dig through my friends’ group chat to find these screenshots). the conversation was extremely long and if i wanted to dissect it fully i’d have to make an hour long video on it and and tbh, i don’t care that much so this is what we’re working with.

for at least some context: the “she” being referenced is a former mutual friend who informed me that he had a gf the whole time we were talking (i have since learned that might not have been true but with him who tf knows). The name blocked out is her boyfriend, who is his friend. and the block of text covered is just him yapping and name dropping too many people. also i guess to give him some grace, he had just gotten surgery and told me he was high off pain meds, which is why he was messaging me.

now this one just pissed me off at the time. after getting out of an abusive relationship (which all of our friends knew about btw) everyone continued to hang out with my ex instead of me because: a) clout and b) they had been friends with him longer. here, he tried to make it seem like he was doing me this huge favor by still talking to me and “keeping me in the group” (which he didn’t btw). now, at this point he already knew about my sa, he knew about all the shit that happened in the relationship, and he still wanted me to be in a friend group with the man who put me through all of that, his other friends, who made super weird sexual comments about me on multiple occasions, and other people who enabled all that shit. then, he tried to make it seem like he was doing me a favor. insane and manipulative.

Like yeah from the evidence provided he's hanging out with predators and groomers and being an asshole which is not cool. It's a blockable offense and I recommend you do so.

The only thing that bugs me about this situation is the fact that people keep digging into his art, which is where I'm like, confused and annoyed.

His art is good. His art is nice and textured and obviously personalized towards himself and his tatstes. It's genuinely an inspiration for one of my own styles. And maybe that's why I'm annoyed.

I have double carpal tunnel. My own art right now is not great. But it's mine, it's all I can make without my wrists hurting. The idea that art is only good if it's polished and every piece is different, is just, gross.

People are also mad that his art doesn't relate to them, and it's like, yeah, of course it doesn't, Salem draws stuff to relate to himself. His experience as a non passing trans guy is insanely different from a passing trans guy.

Maybe I'm the weird one, right. I'm Genderfluid with stable pronouns, I am always they/he. But on my masc days I just look kinda like a tomboy. And I'm okay with that. Do I wish people would use my pronouns, yes, but I'm happy with myself and my body, even if it's super curvy and feminine. And if the only way to avoid being misgendered is to change myself and my body, well fuck man, I'm good on that, I'd rather everyone just keeps misgendering me.

What is the dream smp drama ?

tl;dr called all Tommyinnit fans the r slur, deleted the tweet and didn't apologise till waaaay later, before which he made multiple streams and all the shit about him started coming out again (because his streams made everything worse). Tubbo made a stream about it in a very mature way by asking to talk on stream (Dream has a history of cutting private conversations up to make other creators look bad) and eventually it just turned into Tubbo vs Dream because Tommy blocked him, and Dream started being a shit to Tubbo. Most of the dsmp, some outside ccs, and editors/twitter folk who were in the fandom got involved revealing more stuff about Dream and how shitty he was.

He also mentioned that the public’s reaction to Nicolas Cantu doing the same was generally positive (while i do agree most of the public went overboard in terms of support for Cantu especially when he used slurs as insults - most people only focused on him calling out Dream for covering up assaults and being weird around women and children + after the initial hype died down most people did agree his use of slurs and harassment of the driver was horrible - hence why he’s literally gone.
