Ok So I had the dumb idea a few days ago if 'what if Cam was in RE8' So I made them a mutated form and lil bit of information This is what I have and tbh I kinda love them alot-

Mirandas personal 'attack dog' (very much against their will) typically used to keep villagers in line with threats of a creature in the night that will attack if out around a certain time or if leaving the village outskirts, as well as the main reason people sacrifice goats- Miranda claimed it was for her, but really it was to feed the creature she kept starved in order to keep them aggressive. They can kinda control the mutation…?? Usually depends on hunger or emotion. The more the eat, the easier of a time they have keeping a balance between the two forms, but will shift slightly if extremely upset. The 'mandibles' are used both to administer venom and keep prey in place while draining blood/eating, as are their spines (quills??) which shoot out like a porcupine and have thin venom sacks inside them. One of the ways they hunt is pretending to be an injured animal with their back facing whatever it is they're going for and then BOOM venom spine to the face. (They are very much obviously immune to their own venom, and if anything, eating anything they inject might actually make it stronger and more potent) They have absolutely come across villagers before, hence the bullet scars and all, but said villagers had a habit of disappearing shortly after. uwu

Also, yes, they 100% join Karl and Emelia because they fucking hate the bird bitch and often make comments/suggestions about eating her in her sleep.

1. everyone going ohh boyd you suck you're a bad leader we don't need you 😒😒😒 and then 3 minutes later its "sheriff we need you to separate a man from the pool wall he got fused with, you can do that right?"

10. really enjoying the victor and sara friendship, specially loving the fact that they're chasing the christopher mystery. i'm looking forward to sara's connection to the town playing a role in this plotline, it feels like it's all coming together since the voices made references to the christopher incident in S1

11. tabitha learning jade went into the tunnels for julie means everything to me like even with the shipping googles off its like see, youre not alone in protecting your family, you have at least one friend you can trust !!!

12. desperately need more matthews (+jade) family drama, i dont even care for the town mysteries that much i just need el chisme

13. on that same line of thought frankly i dont mind if the mysteries go unanswered, what i find most compelling is the theories the characters make along the way and what it says about them

14. miranda is such an intriguing figure i need to rewatch the scenes with henry in maine tbh so much was said... i feel like there might be more twists coming. it bugs me that i can't really figure why she wouldn't warn everyone about christopher like she did victor and eloise

Pet peeves & dealbreakers:

People not respecting a roleplayers rules / not reading them. That is such a pet peeve of mine. I understand it's humanly impossible to remember every single rule and detail of every single person. But it takes .5 seconds to click a link and ctrl + F to look whatever you need to look up

Another one that annoys me is when people don't read a characters bio! Please read that stuff before interacting with someone and if you're confused or have questions just ask the writer! Oc writers work hard on their characters and same with canon divergent writers , it's always a good practice to remember that not all of one muse are the same!!

Deal-breaker: Being a minor / lying about not being a minor && pushing boundaries.

People have boundaries for a reason , just like any other normal human being sometimes we gotta enforce it so don't villainize someone for standing their ground on their personal boundaries

As for minors && age lying : just don't do it man...just don't , there's a lot of minors who write with other minors , don't lie about your age to your fellow roleplayers. Be honest because at the end of the day were all looking out for each other. Some of us write things that may make a person underage uncomfortable and that's why we got MDNI (minors do not interact)

Best time to write: uhhh honestly im not even sure im sparratic as fuck with my activity, some days I'm up early other days im asleep till mid afternoon or im at work for 12 hours lol. So it just varies. Though My communication always is open

Are you like your muse?: I mean??? Maybe I got a lot of mental health issues and trauma so I kinda make sure I write characters who have that stuff or ones I can connect with on a personal level. Though this isn't a yes for all because I am the farthest thing from a blood thirsty creature . I'm actually quiet tired all the time lmao

Ah well I'm just terrible at combat tbh and I'm a creature of habits. I started with Infiltrator and never really stopped, though I've tried other classes in ME3. I really admire Vanguard players btw, because I found Vanguard extremely exciting but really difficult to keep up playing long term. I like being far away from enemies and sniping them. I'm not a fan of getting out of cover. And when Banshees are around I'm just "nope nope nope" the entire time.

I'll have my little sniper rifle, invisibility, always Disruptor Ammo and Incinerate. I often forget to use Sabotage. I usually pair with squadmates because I like them and not really for combat reasons so that doesn't help. My fav squad in ME2 is Garrus & Miranda or Tali & Legion or Kasumi & Thane. In ME3 I pair mostly with Garrus & James or Garrus & Liara. I heavily use Overload and Wrap with squadmates.

With the next ME, would you prefer a return to the trilogy’s class system or would you prefer the more freeform nature of Andromeda’s?

I personally would prefer the trilogy’s system since it provides a lot of an innate identity for your Shepard but I’d be down to have it get real flexible again!

That's such a good question. I'll be honest: I like that other people can have flexibility so I would want as much flexibility as we can get but I myself deal better with a system like the one in the trilogy. I know myself, I'll end up doing an Infiltrator class on all my points available.

But it's interesting that we can link a fixed class to a more realized Shepard! I would find it interesting if they tweak classes to fit lore and a specific type of protagonist, idk, why not linked to their N7 training?

Your openminded and approachable nature is a breath of fresh air among a castle filled with vampires. Lady Dimitrescu certainly is grateful for how approachable you are. After a mind-numbingly boring meeting with the other lords and Mother Miranda, Dimitrescu will rant to you about it, and though you may think you're a bit socially awkward, she's just happy you're there to listen.

Dimitrescu definitely took an interest in you very quickly. Being a creature of habit, much like yourself, Dimitrescu was hesitant about some of the new experiences you may bring. She was especially reluctant to listen to your music taste. It's not that she doesn't care about your interests; Dimitrescu just has a very... particular music taste. If you put on some opera however, you might just catch her humming along, even if she denies it.

Since you love reading as well, Dimitrescu will make sure the library constantly is stocked with new books. Dimitrescu will also pick out books that she think will suit your interest. Dimitrescu loves your watercolour paintings. No matter how big or small they are, she's displaying them on the castle walls in a signature gold frame.

The both of you have similar personalities, so you can get along rather well. Since you're both stubborn, there are times where you can't see eye to eye. (Literally can't see eye to eye since she's like 5ft taller than you too). However, you're able to overcome any disagreements rather quickly.

Ok, now hear me out on this one...

You and Leon are quite different people, but you do actually have some similarities. They say opposites attract and this is definitely the case with you two.

Leon is charismatic and extroverted while you're more introverted. if there's ever a time where you're feeling socially awkward, Leon has no problem taking over the conversation to help alleviate any tension.

Neither of you take things very seriously, always cracking jokes even in a rather dim situation. He definitely loves your music taste too. Leon will 100% blast your playlists in the car while he drives. While Leon doesn't really read much, and especially doesn't paint, he loves seeing you enjoy your hobbies. Any paintings you make will be hung up on the fridge whether you like it or not.

Leon is close to 6ft tall so expect him to use you as an arm rest at every chance he gets. He also gives you height-related nicknames.

Donna’s alternative boss fight~ just a thought

A boss battle with with Donna, but like an actual one.

NOW HEAR ME OUT-

Donna can, via her plants, creature powerful hallucinations that may or may not be able to actually hurt Ethan/the player.

The location

So just imagine, a battlefield not unlike the one at Mother Miranda’s boss fight. I could imagine it’d look something like this, because that’s just Donna, but a little bigger yk, so the player has room to move around and dodge/fight/etc. I think it would be cool if there were broken doll parts (doll body parts) littered on the ground, just to add more more of Donna here

Now, I assume Donna’s boss fight, even if there was a proper one, wasn’t meant to be that difficult yet. But just imagine-

Dolls flying and attacking you out of nowhere occasionally (possibly shootable before they attack you to prevent said attack)

It’s very dark, so you can’t see Donna, kind of like that one phase at Mother Miranda’s bossfight:

But you hear her. Hear her chuckle because she knows she’s much more powerful than Ethan, and hear her talk the usual battle bla bla. Like imagine she actually had more than ✨1 line✨ I could totally imagine hearing Angie too, both of them talking or laughing or whatever, until all the dolls start crackling, like at Donna’s boss fight in the game (you’ll notice when you don’t stab Angie/Donna, the dolls get louder and louder until they attack), and it just gets so loud.

What I could also imagine is just flashes of hallucinations used against Ethan/the player, like the Mia hallucinations and the baby(🙃) (possibly memories from the baker incident as well)

Now on to Donna herself:

Her mutated look

I like to imagine Donna would have gigantic strings wrapped around some parts of her body, like the puppeteer became the puppet.

Her outfit would probably be mostly covered in mold, but I don’t think she would fully mutate into a different form (like Alcina, Moreau or Heisenberg) and rather mutate into something almost human looking, like Mother Miranda or Marguerite from 7.

I’m no artist, so I can’t illustrate this idea for y’all, sadly!

So I just imagine Donna, most likely a little taller than normally by either having stretched limbs like Marguierite from re7, or maybe her legs grow together and meld together with mold, with strings coming from seemingly nowhere moving her arms and legs, maybe one wrapped around her neck.

Something else I’ve thought about a lot is—

Large needles from her back, almost spider like:

I could imagine as a doll maker she just works with needles a lot, sewing the fine details of her dolls on them or their dresses herself, so I think needles like that would make a cool and terrifying addition to her look. They could either be there as simply a part of her look, or she could, not unlike Mother Miranda in her mutated spider form, actually use them to lift herself, crawl around, or attack Ethan/the player with them!

Personally I would have found it (and actually thought that was the purpose of her boss ‘fight’) cool if we stabbed Angie/Donna the three times and therefore caused/forced her to mutate, like Lady D with the dagger. It would have been a cool intro for her boss fight tbh.

Most people, I assume, have noticed the music at some of the bosses’ fights. The most obvious ones are probably the ones at Heisenberg’s and Mother Miranda’s boss battle. (Re8)

The song Carol Of The Bells, the version posted by Lindsey Stirling, just in the background as she throws all she has Ethan’s way. Dolls, mold, needles, whatever.

Her death

So, I think when Ethan does defeat her, it would be cool to see all the hallucinations fade one by one, until only Donna, a moveless Angie and Ethan are left.

I have a Resident Evil VIII OC who's based on the local folklore creature called ohnivý muž, basically meaning fiery man or flaming man in English. Since all the Lords seemed to be of different descent, I figured I'd chime in with my own culture, and they all seemed to be designed after some kind of folklore/fairytale creatures (apparently they aren't and allegedly in an interview it was said that they're all designed 1/2 after a creature from JAP folklore and 1/2 after horror monsters, but back then when I made the OC I just assumed that they were based on folklore in general), which is why I went with the local folklore.

His name is Lucián Ignác Svatých and he's technically a Lord but Miranda just...really didn't like him so she doesn't speak of him nor is he ever invited anywhere. He just lives in this totally wrecked and rundown church, more of a ruin than a church, in the village (obviously the whole village worships Miranda when the game takes place but I'm assuming that before she took charge there was a church since from what I know of the area and time period the people would have been religious) and does his own thing. I wanted to place the church near the waters, but I'm unsure if the layout of the place permits it tbh.

His mutation at first seems invisible and more beneficial than anything, kinda like Heisenberg's, but he can't actually control his fire-related mutation and will randomly burst into flames. Not always whole, sometimes it's just an arm or a leg, but he does. His hair is also made of flames. It's harder for him to control when he's under stress and when his mental state sucks. Not necessarily when he gets angry or anything like that, it reacts to the more general and permanent state of mind because it takes great willpower to keep the mutation at bay. If he couldn't do that at all, he'd just be fully engulfed in flames permanently. He can also breathe fire, which is the only part of his mutation he can control 90%.

The problem with him sometimes bursting into flames uncontrollably is that he either needs to put it out immediately or he needs to wait for it to die down on its own, because it's kinda like with a temporary tooth. Either it isn't falling out or you need to wait for it to be really close to falling out on its own before ripping it out, otherwise, if you rip it out when it's only a little loose, it hurts because it wasn't ready to go. Much like that, his skin will react to the fire the same way normal human skin would to normal fire if put out during its uuuh cycle so to speak. It reacts especially badly to water, however, it's unadvisable to use water to put his fire out in general as it seems to always result in at least some scarring. It's better to use mud or to roll around on the ground. Those actions only minimise the risk of the skin reacting the way normal skin would though, sometimes it still hurts a lot and he gets some scars. And his fire burns the same way normal fire does, so he has to be careful not to accidentally set anything on fire.

As an enemy, he uses an old sword (of course it's aflame) and you'd fight him while he's totally consumed by flames, and his final phase happens in his ultimate form, which is technically a dragon made of flames and melting metal. This form is irreversible, it's basically the climax of his mutation. All these details come from the folklore, since the fiery man is said to manifest as a man on fire, a rabbit on fire, a carriage on fire, a crown, a dragon (presumably on fire can't remember rn) and uh basically a lot of things on fire. In some parts of Morava, it is said that a fiery man is a fallen angel (that's why the church and the sword), while in other parts of the country it is believed that a fiery man is the soul of a criminal or a prisoner. They're morally grey and help some but kill others.

Also I ship him with Heisenberg.

I think you can place his church near the windmills? And I also found a similarity between him and Lord Moreau. They’re both simply ignored by Miranda and I think because of that they could be friends maybe. They’re somehow outcasts and they would get along. But it will also be dangerous to him since water hurts him.

I like his design, and his mutated form because of how scary it would be to fight a flaming dragon! Besides, I like his normal clothes as well. I think his robe, his sword, and his crown fit him very well his character!

Anyway, I’m glad you shared this. The story around him is so well written, and the art also helps us see him better. We wish Luciàn only the best!

Cas’s rebellions are all tiny, but they keep getting added to the pile- that time when he didn’t kill ALL of Egypt’s first born, or that time he saved this kid who was supposed to die while out hunting for food in the forest for himself and his orphaned siblings, and almost did, but oops, that’s one bengal tiger that most definitely shouldn’t have been seen in northern mongolia? and  that messed up that whole timeline in an unbelievable way right down to five centuries later, and Naomi’s entire staff was working overtime for twenty cycles to fix the fall out (and think of what that means for creatures that are basically, eternal?), and listen, call her petty, but every time she hits the reset button on him, she feels a visceral satisfaction, she’s fucking earned it, and in time it’s a game, even, on a day she’s bored, she might even do something that leaves temptation strewn right across his path, and LISTEN. It was Anael who was supposed to have saved Dean Winchester, but that one had other ideas, what was this, maybe it was infectious? But fine, the rules are she’s going to have to send in someone from Anael’s battalion, and she really didn’t want to send Cas, but then somehow this fuck had gone and gotten himself into the post of second-in-command while her attention was on 2nd century Medea, and listen, Uriel, this is a BAD IDEA, Zachariah, you fucking pompous middle management incompetent, what makes you think you know more about this stupid shit than I do, oh fine, on your head be it, and don’t come crying to me and yeah, look? seriously, nothing made me giggle quite as much as lightly jogging around Hock’s compound in my LBD conspicuously ducking into the basement like THIS IS NORMAL I AM A REGULAR PARTY GUEST i cannot believe Kasumi trusted me with this; I am not a subtle creature. (I did really love the lore about the Statue of Liberty.) then I went on Zaeed’s mission and insisted on saving people bc I’m a big ol’ golden retriever but I still managed to charm (see: threaten?) him into taking my side anyway.

I took Miranda with us on the mission to see if I could goad her into admitting that Cerberus sucks, and that didn’t work but then I was rewarded with their highkey sexually charged fight in Miranda’s office after so I still got what I wanted.

and speaking of sex and death, WOW MORINTH. WOW. WOW. if I’d taken a drink every time she said “dark” I would be on the floor. i love how I was pumped up for her to be the world’s most seductive person and then she was just Queen Edgelord. I had enough points in Paragon that I was able to pass the check and have my pick of whomst to save; given that my ship is already full of sex-obsessed edgelords and genocidal maniacs I decided to stick with Samara. Helen informed me after the fact that had I picked Morinth, she would have just assumed her mother’s identity for the rest of the game (!!) and also I could have sex with her if I wanted (!!!), killing me instantly.

I also had a genuinely lovely chat with Mordin about his nephew and bro-hugged Jacob multiple times.
