For the longest time, Yuuki didn’t understand why you enjoyed just watching him play video games with his friends so much. 

  He figured that after the second or third time of you coming over and laying on his bed, listening to him play some console game online in his dorm with Akira and Ryuji, you’d get bored. You’d run out of things to scroll through on your phone. You’d run out of things to read while he’s facing the boring parts. You’d get tired of listening to him yell callouts to Akira or get annoyed that all he can seem to do is yell insults back at Ryuji. It had to happen. It had to happen eventually.

  Yet you never did. He always expected that at some point, you’d try to drag him off his games and force him to take you out. Admittedly, he doesn’t do as often as he should- he knows. But you’re usually so content just watching and listening to him play. You offer up your own little comments that his friends can hear over the phone. You ask his friends questions about what he was like in high school. And you always seem to giggle and pull a face at the thought of him being shy or nervous. ‘That’s not the Yuuki I know,’ You would tell them. And it’s true. He’s been more confident since graduating high school. His confidence is what landed him you, after all.

   But you would still laugh when Ryuji would share an embarrassing story or two. And you nearly beg Akira to talk about the Old Yuuki - even if they were all in the middle of a match. The point is, you liked this. You liked sitting in his apartment with him, engaging with his old friends, and watching him get his ass kicked in fighting games. You liked these little moments, even when the focus wasn’t on you. In fact, you seemed to like it more when he’d play something with his friends, and he’d have to force his attention off of you. And for that, he couldn’t be more grateful.

  Because knowing where he came from, he would have never dreamed of finding a girlfriend who loved him so much that she’d be willing to do just about anything for him.

  Including sucking him off while he’s playing games with his friends.

  Right now is no different. It’s just another hot, sticky summer night in the middle of the week. You had already slipped your arms out of the straps of your tank top, letting your boobs flow freely as you sit up on your knees. You have the audacity to look up at him with big, round, and innocent eyes as if you’re not the reason why he’s so off today. But he doesn’t have time to deal with you. Not if you could help it, at least.

  “P-patio,” He stammers his location out before taking a look around. A second later, he catches his mistake. But by that point, someone had just peaked the corner and started shooting at him. He curses again and returns the fire with his pistol as you decide that’s the perfect opportunity to open your mouth wide and slip his dick further down your throat- distracting him further. “No- wait. Estates! I meant Estates.”

  His fingers fly over the buttons of his controller as his character ducks behind a wall. He takes a large sum of damage before he even realizes it, but you’re so busy bobbing your head up and down and up and down that he can’t even think about aiming. His fingers inch to reach out to you. To push you away because he’s growing sensitive? To pull you in because he loves the feeling of your throat closing around him? He doesn’t know.

  But what he does know is that you’re the reason why he just lost a shoot-off and died just now. Worst of all, though? It happened just in time for Ryuji to walk in and take the guy out with one clean shot. 

  “Dude, booo.” Immediately, Ryuji starts to complain the second it happens. The annoyance isn’t well hidden at all. But it’s not like he should have expected anything differently when he plays with these guys. Especially not on the days you start to get bold like this. “You fucking suck today.” 

  Go figure.

  Part of him wants to immediately bite back at the guy- knowing that it was only last week that the blonde’s kill-death ratio was looking pretty similar to his right now. But the other part of him is more preoccupied with dropping his controller to the side of his chair and tangling his hands through your hair, finally deciding that he wants you to take him deeper. You take it in stride. Just a quick, cute little look as your eyes flicker up towards him, and it’s back to letting your licks stretch around his shaft and breathing through your nose as he slides in almost too easily.

  “Yeah, you sick or something?” He vaguely hears Akira call over the microphone, and he manages to muster up some kind of response to the question that seems to be enough for everyone at the moment. Ryuji follows it up by mouthing him off- talking about his performance over the past couple of games. But Yuuki is just a little too preoccupied slowly timing his thrusts with your own movements to offer any real quip back. 

  But that doesn’t really matter. The game is just that- a game. And he talks to his friends often enough that he knows they’ll understand. Maybe Ryuji might even be a little jealous if he tells the truth about why he’s playing so poorly today. But he’s not really thinking about that. He’s not really thinking about anything.

  Anything except you, of course. And just how good, sweet, and all too fucking sexy of a girlfriend you are. For being so accepting of his gaming habits. For being so accepting of his friends. For being so kind and loving and patient with him. But most of all?

  For giving head so great that he starts to forget about every single thing that isn’t you.

This might be very specific but like, can I get something about a reader who used to be very sporty and graceful but has had a bad injury that kind of affects the way they walk and their balance. They don’t say it but they are secretly self conscious over it. They still do sports and stuff but they worry about never being enough again (and also ppl making comments about their limp). For characters that would be paired with the reader, I was thinking Mishima (love him sm🩷) and, unsurprisingly,, Ryuji (it’s a bit silly but this character helped me a bit to feel better about my situation)

Mishima :

You stood in front of the diner in Shibuya, looking around with your bag on your shoulder and your phone in hand. Yuuki had texted you he’d be here in 5 minutes, exactly 5 minutes ago. You kept glancing at your screen, checking to see if he had texted you again. 

You usually tried to keep an eye on your surroundings, but you must’ve been too focused on your phone to see the crowd of people rushing into you. You tried keeping yourself up, but it was no use - you felt yourself falling over, almost resigning yourself to your fate before a pair of arms clumsily held you up. 

You looked to your side to see Yuuki, looking frantic and panicked as he slowly made sure you were back up on your feet. Just as you were about to thank him, he held you by the shoulders and yelled. 

“Are you alright?!”

After taking a second to recover, you chuckled and held onto his arms. 

“I am, no need to worry.”

He looked you over worriedly, and finally let out a sigh of relief as he saw that you were indeed alright. Yuuki brought you closer to him in a hug, which you returned. 

“Should we go inside? I don’t want you to get hurt if someone bumps into you again.”

He offered as he pulled back, taking one of your hands in his bashfully. 

“I’m not that fragile, you know… But sure, let’s go.”

He pulled you up the stairs behind him for your date. Yuuki could be a little too protective when it came to your injury, but he ultimately just didn’t want it to get worse for you. 

Ryuji :

Dating Ryuji naturally meant accompanying him on his runs, when he felt like practicing. 

Today was one of those days. You both sat down on a bench as you handed him a water bottle, which he thanked you for before drinking practically half of it. 

Your chest heaved with your breaths, trying to calm down the ache in your body as you took a break. Ryuji was sitting next to you, massaging his leg. 

“You okay?”

He glanced at you upon hearing your question. He flashed you a grin and a thumbs up, reassuring you with a nod. 

“Yeah, no worries! I can keep going. What about you?”

You nodded too. 

“Same here. Just need a short break.”

He hummed in acknowledgement, offering you the water bottle back. You drank a bit, and not long after, you two were back up and running for another lap. 

Really, you probably could’ve gone longer before your injury, and the same was true for him. Still, you two enjoyed doing this together, going at a rhythm that you were both comfortable with.

Mishima

He finds the height difference to be adorable. You're his very cute S/O and he'll gladly help you with whatever you need. Even if you don't really need his help, he'll still offer it. Sure, a step stool would probably be enough for you to reach something, but he still wants to be a useful boyfriend.

Mishima is there to defend you if he hears anyone else saying some kind of short joke to you. Even if you find them amusing, he's still defending you because he knows those jokes can get old quick and doesn't want your mood to potentially sour because the jokes get old.

Yes, you might be his short S/O, but if you want to maybe play video games with him (please) then he'll gladly be your knight in shining armor in that too. He'll happily be your healer if you want to tank. Even if it is in a video game, he finds it so freaking attractive if you defend him despite your smaller stature.

Ryuji

Absolutely leans on you, placing his arm on the top of your head and little things like that to mess with you. It's all done in good fun and he'd never want to actually hurt your feelings, but he's the type of boyfriend to do that stuff.

Ryuji accidentally puts things on high shelves where you can't reach. It's legitimately an accident because he's just placing things where he's always used to having them. He didn't even think about the fact that you can't reach. He is amused when he sees you struggling but then he moves to help you.

He would be happy to pick you up and give you piggyback rides and such though. Even if it's not the best on his knees, he will still try if it makes you happy. Ryuji gets a bit flustered with the affection, but he'll still do it if you ask enough.

Yusuke

Yusuke doesn't intentionally makes short jokes, but he bluntly comments on your height now and then if you need his help to get something from a higher shelf. Again, he doesn't mean for it to sound like a joke, he just says it without thinking of it. Will apologize when he sees you're upset.

Despite the accidental insults, he doesn't really treat you any differently. You're his S/O and that's what he sees you as. That said, if he does have art on the mind then it is interesting for him to see the perspective change for you. Might ask you to take photos of things at your eye level so he can try some new painting idea or something.

Is a bit hesitant with introducing you to Futaba. She's also very small and the last thing he wants is for her to corrupt you and then he's dealing with two tiny gremlins, one being his S/O. If you're already a gremlin then he just sighs and deals with it.

Hi I hope this makes sense I’m still recovering from surgery and I was hoping to request something with some of the persona 5 boys reaction to their s/o going in for major abdominal surgery (maybe it being their third one in 3 years) how they’d help with recovery do they bring them to the hospital or do they even remember when the surgery date is. if possible yusuke, Ryuji, Akechi (and Mishima is possible he gets so little love sweet boy if that’s too many characters I understand)

Mishima's your ultimate stalker(*cough*Phanboy*cough*). You most likely caught his attention by showing him kindness, whether it be something as simple as sharing your book with him when he forgot to bring his, or perhaps defending him from bullies. This guy has been constantly ignored, bullied, and ridiculed by others around him for a long time and when you came along, it's like he saw the light for the first time.

His adoration for you would spike considerably if you manage to defend him from Kamoshida, but so will his worry and protectiveness. He appreciates you helping him, but getting on Kamoshida's bad side isn't a good idea. What if he hurts you?!

If you feel someone staring at you during class, then it's most likely him. He's not listening to the teacher at all. Instead, his thoughts are filled with you. 'They look cute today too.' 'Their perfume smells so nice.' 'I love seeing them smile. I wish they would smile at me too.'

We all know how diligent he is on maintaining the Phan-site, well, he's even more diligent on finding out everything about you. If he's not watching you at school, he's browsing your social media. He'll constantly like your posts, save every picture of you he can find and if he's considered as one of your friends, he might message you constantly throughout the night. He enjoys talking to you after all. If he isn't one of your friends, then he'll just stare at his phone longingly, wishing that he was brave enough to talk to you.

You can do no wrong in his eyes. You're basically perfect to him. He'll place you on a pedestal, worshipping you and constantly praising you on how much of a wonderful person you are. Of course, the higher you are, the lower he thinks of himself. He could never hope to be with you. Why would you like a guy like him, anyway? He's dull, boring, and a coward.

With all of the stalking and researching he's done, he'll most likely know everything about you. Even more than yourself.

He's mostly content with watching you from afar, pining after you and getting lost in his fantasies of being together with you. That changes if you get a lover though.

He would be devastated, because the person he loves had drifted farther away from him, taken away by someone else. It isn't long before you get anonymous messages about how your partner was a horrible person, a cheater, and how they were just using you. Mishima would do anything to seperate you from your partner. They don't deserve you!

Mishima would get a palace. No doubt about it. A cognitive version of you would be there, a famous celebrity, admired by many fans(which are actually shadows in disguise). While Mishima's shadow would be by your side. He'll play the role of your manager and bodyguard, always there at your beck and call, always there to protect you.

If you confess to him, Mishima would feel like he had died and gone to heaven! You actually love him! This is the best thing that ever happened to him! He promises to make you very happy and is determined not to let you down. You would most likely notice his insecurities and self doubt fairly quickly once you start dating him. Show Mishima that you're loyal to him and wont ever look at someone else, and he'll gradually improve. Although his insecurities won't disappear completely, your love and attention would go a long way.

Huh...I might have gone overboard with this...but oh well. I just love Mishima! Seriously, give this guy more love! He needs it!

Moments like these make you feel so helpless. Seeing everything that he’s gone through and still goes through makes you feel so helpless. No matter how hard you tried to protect him. No matter how hard you tried to save him. It never seemed to be enough to stop the pain at its source.

  Now, It’s been a couple days since Kamoshida turned himself in. And throughout the school day, Yuuki has been putting up the best front he can muster. He’s trying to smile a bit more. He’s laughing a bit at your jokes. Keeping up the conversation. But he’s still looking over his shoulder. He’s still flinching at loud sounds. Getting lost in thought. And sure, he would take your offers of food and an extra drink from the vending machine in stride. And he’s more than happy to receive your thanks and words of appreciation whenever you slyly slip in an extra compliment or two for him. 

  But you know the truth. Because it screams your name, even when he’s not saying a word. Because it stares you right in the eyes, even when you have your head turned. Because he’s putting up a mask. He just is. Because you know what he looked like before the mask. So you know exactly when he’s putting it on for everyone. For you.

  After all, You know that better than anyone else. You’ve been with him for long enough. You’ve been his friend for even longer than that. But after volleyball practice stopped and the whole thing about Kamoshida blew up in the school’s face, you’ve been seeing Yuuki exist in a way that’s so different than before. Yet somehow- the exact same.

  But today? Today feels a little different. In a way that almost scares you.

  Cutting off the head can only do oh-but-so much sometimes. Cutting off the head can even make two more come back in its place if you’re not careful. But you tried to be. Oh, how you tried to be careful. 

  But despite your best efforts, it started peaking through as you both walked from the school gate to the train station. His hand was warm as he held yours. He drew tiny little circles into the back of your hand with the pad of his thumb. You gave him a squeeze every now and then. But every time you looked at his face, that perpetual tiredness broke through his mask more and more. You could spot a numbness in his eyes. A look of defeat that felt a bit more broken than what you’re used to seeing. 

  It followed him as he got on the train with you in tow. And every attempt to ask him what was wrong was met with the same reaction. A sad smile. Suddenly more alert eyes turn towards you. A kiss to the back of your hand. Another promise that he’s “fine” and that you “don’t need to worry so much.” All that and more before he goes back to staring straight forward and disappearing into his own mind and thoughts and reasonings. Things you have no doubt are plaguing his mental state. 

  So you don’t say anything as your stop comes. You don’t make a move either as you watch it go, hand still wrapped around Yuuki’s. He doesn’t say anything either. But he does move when two stops later, you’re both in his neighborhood. And he does take you by the hand and guide you to his place and let you in once you’re both standing at the door. You end up being the one to greet Mrs. Mishima as Yuuki helps you out of your shoes before leading you further inside. And although you’re only able to catch a small glimpse of each other before you’re led up a flight of stairs. But in the small, small glimpse you both share, a message is sent between the two of you. 

  She knows not to ask. You know not to tell. He’s been hurt by too many people above him. The least you can do is protect him until he’s ready.

  But as he pushes open the door to his bedroom and brings you inside, you can’t help but wonder just when exactly that will be. You’ve been doing your best to stand up for him long before you started dating. But Kamoshida wasn’t a playground bully or a lunch money thief. Kamoshida was a monster. More than a monster. He was the devil himself. And you know you’ve had your fair share of nightmares of him back when his attention was starting to narrow in on you. But Yuuki had it worse. Yuuki had it so, so, so much more worse.

  That’s why you don’t fight him as helps you out of your backpack and tosses it onto his messy bedroom floor. That’s why you don’t fight him as he drops your hand in favor of wrapping his arms around your torso. And that’s why you don’t fight him as he leans and leans and leans back until the two of you are both crashing onto his bed. Arms around each other. Grip nice and tight. Like he’s afraid of losing something. Like he’s afraid of losing you too.

  “Yuuki,” You whisper out quietly. He lets out a shiver as your soft voice passes right by his ear. But he doesn’t verbally respond. Instead, just opting to tangle his legs between yours and to hold you impossibly tighter than before. You let out a quiet sigh and attempt to look at his expression. It’s as numb and as broken and as lost and emotionless as ever. “You’re safe, baby. Okay?”

  But for a second his face twitches

  It’s short. It’s small. But you know him too well. You watch him too well. So you know what to expect when a second later, he draws in a sharp breath. One quiet and slow. But one that does very little to hide the pain in his face. One that does very little to hide the tears welling up in his eyes. And It breaks your heart. Hell, it breaks everything inside you. But you won’t let it show. Because someone has to be strong for him. Someone has to protect him. 

  “Yuuki it’s okay. He’s gone now.”

  Someone has to love him.

  “He can’t hurt you anymore, okay Yuuki?”

  “...o-okay…”

  Especially now that he really needs it most.

“They seem full of it, so NO. I mean, can you believe stuff like this? Get off your high horse? We aren’t on a high horse, are we [Y/n]?”

You could only yawn in response, watching Mishima’s brow scrunch, his face illuminated by the red glow of the Phansite. You could see the ocean of text reflected in his soft grey eyes, but even more noticable were the dark bags that were slowly etching their way under his eyes.

“Yuuki…” You mumbled out, and for the briefest of moments, his eyes flickered up to you before returning to skimming over Phansite comments. You looked back at your alarm clock, 2:56. He wasn’t planning on sleeping any time soon, was he?

“Better be arrested soon? [Y/n]...” He quietly whined. You clicked your tongue. Yeah, you were just about done with this for now. Quickly and quietly you snatched Mishima’s phone from him, before he could respond you glanced over it, rolling your eyes at some of the comments he was getting on the forum. Turning off his phone, you threw it off into the corner of the room, hearing a soft ‘thump’ as it fell into an old pile of clothing. “[Y/n]? What are you doing?” He asked, his voice soft.

Without another word, you wrapped your arms around him and pulled him closer to you. He repeated your name again, but you simply dragged him down onto your bed. He let out a few more flustered noises, his face was warm, but you didn’t particularly mind.

The room had fallen silent, though you felt Mishima slowly drape one of his arms over your side. Yeah, this was nice. You could get used to something like this. The silver light of the moon pooled together with the amber glow of a nearby streetlight, both of them silhouetting him perfectly.

“Too much talk for one night Yuuki. Break time now.” You saw his lips twitch into a small smile. There was a certain amount of warmth that seemed to emanate off of him, but it was all the more comforting. He pulled you in closer to him as you nestled yourself into his chest. You could feel his fingertips play with some of the hairs at the back of your neck.

Many people had claimed he was a high maintenance boyfriend, but you never saw it that way at all. Yuuki was a simple boy, all he needed was someone who would love him, and would tell him that. Of course, there was also the element he would never bring up, but he also needed someone to keep him safe from himself.

He needed someone to keep him safe from nights like this where he would work on necessary Phansite maintenance all night without a break. Those were the nights where you did your job best.

Nights like these he wouldn’t be finding his phone again without you noticing, but he liked the nights like these. He liked being close, feeling your body against his. He liked your arms wrapped around his body and he liked holding you close. It made him feel like he was protecting you, like he made you feel as safe as a teen could be.

“Yuuki?” His curiosity was piqued as you shuffled from his hold and looked into his eyes.

“Yeah, what is it?” He asked, before receiving a quick but sweet peck to the tip of his nose.

“Love you.”

Day 20 - Childhood Friends to Lovers

"Look at how many users there are!"

You couldn't help a smile at how excited Mishima was. It was the most excited you've seen him in a long time. Not since joining and making the volleyball team as a regular. But now, as he showed you the app he created, his eyes shone brightly as a wide smile is on his face.

"Yeah, you're really cool Mishima," you tell him, which seems to make him so much happier. He always did enjoy validation. And even though his cheeks were still covered in healing bruises and bandages, you noticed a bit of pink on his cheeks.

"Well, I'm not that great. I mean, it's the phantom thieves that saved the school..." Mishima trails off as his eyes go to the comments coming in on one of the general chat rooms. "It'd be nice if there wasn't so much trolling. I'll need to work double time with the filtering."

"Or you could rest?" You suggested instead.

Mishima hasn't had a moments rest since Kamoshida left. Being one of the victims, of course the local news network wanted to cover the story. And then there was the newspaper club at school. And then other students that would come up to him and offer "sympathies" despite praising Kamoshida's name previously.

And now, instead of laying down and closing his eyes to rest, he's working on a damn app. It is amazing how much energy he has now, but you're definitely concerned that it's going to lead to him crashing.

"Yeah, yeah, I'll take a nap later," Mishima replies in a teasing tone, but you see appreciation in his eyes. As well as something else that makes your heart race and hope. You just give him a smile as you lean a bit closer as he shows off more of what he's got so far with the app. Mishima leans into your touch in return.

You two have always been a bit touchy growing up. Well, once you both got past the "girls/boys have cooties" stage. There's been hugs and hand holding and just you two being affectionate. But it's always been as friends, which you didn't mind before but now that you're older and realize your feelings. Well, things are definitely different.

And then the Kamoshida thing happened, and it did put a bit of a damper on your relationship with Mishima for a bit. Just because he didn't want you involved to keep you safe, and you hated it. Thank god for those phantom thieves, whoever they are (you know who they are, but you pretend not to so Mishima can feel cool about knowing them).

"I am really happy to see you smiling more, Yuuki," you murmur as you glance up at him, finding that he's already looking at you. He flushes a bit and gives a sigh.

"Yeah, I know you were worried about me before. Thank you for staying by my side."

"I wouldn't dream of leaving you."

There's silence after that, a comfortable one, before Mishima puts his phone up and you move away so he can properly lay down. You hesitate a bit. You two have slept in the same bed together when you were much much younger. And you doubted Mishima would try anything, but still...

"Hey," Mishima says your name softly and you look to him as he smiles a bit and moves so you can lay next to him. You do and he seems to hesitate before putting an arm around you. "I'm glad that we're friends... But... Have you ever wondered-"

"All the time." You don't let him finish his statement because you knew what he was going to ask. Mishima's eyes widen when you do cut him off but he smiles and holds you a bit tighter.

"Good... Sakamoto is going to be so jealous when I tell him I have a partner before he does." You can't help a snort at that. Poor Ryuji.

it took a month or two before the right moment finally came along for your first kiss

mishima was at your place and the two of you were studying next to each other in silence, before you awkwardly pointed out that it was just the two of you at your apartment

the poor boys face turned red immediately and he offered to leave if you weren't comfortable being alone with him

but when you assured him that you wanted him to stay, mishima relaxed for a moment, only to quickly start to wonder why else you had mentioned that the two of you were alone…

"wait… w-were you trying to hint at something then!?" his head whipped around and he stared at you, covering his blushing cheeks with his hands

seeing him this nervous made you nervous as well, but you assured him you weren't trying to hint at anything

"h-however…" you added "i wouldn't mind if something were to happen…"

now both of you were blushing

mishima slowly removed his hands from his face and instead rested them on your shoulders, slowly inching closer, giving you enough time to pull away if you end up changing your mind

"a-alright… then i'll let something happen…!" he announced with a shaky voice, closing his eyes half way on his way to you, before finally pressing his lips… on your chin

there was a moment of silence, before you started laughing, breaking the awkward tension between the two of you

"w-wait, i didn't want to… i couldn't see where i was… argh, i messed up our first kiss…" mishima whined quietly

but his face lit up again when you rested your hands on his shoulders instead, still with an amused grin on your lips, as you inched closer slowly

"how about we try it again? maybe this time it'll work!"

_Mishima & Conversation_

People only ever spoke to Mishima whenever they needed something from him. He felt like an npc in an rpg; never given the time of day unless through necessity, accident, or calculated manipulation

Even in his own attempts to interact with his peers had a tangible sense of one sided enthusiasm. At times it felt like his own parents didn’t like his presence

Every single talk he’d have would leave him feeling dejected and pathetic. What was worse is that Mishima couldn’t blame others for not wanting to speak with him- he was probably annoying

Still, he wished for the connections he saw his classmates had. Desperately he wanted the feeling of being able to talk on and on with someone without feeling awkward or overstepping. He longed for acceptance

He found that in you

Your relationship was a surprise to everyone, especially him. To this day this poor boy doesn’t know how he managed to snag someone like you

You listen to him in a way no one else had wanted to before. With genuine interest you interact with him, making him feel loved and excited. He feels like he could talk about anything with you and not be embarrassed

However, he’s still a little ashamed of initiating conversations, not wanting to seem annoying or overstep your boundaries. But you assure him over and over that it’s okay and alright to start up talks

Mishima never feels in the dark or out of place whenever he speaks with you. You never make him feel like a second choice or unwanted party

For the first time, maybe in his whole life, he feels like something other than a background character. He feels seen
