Logan is having his boot camp/summer camp and is doing an archery lesson cause well the targets were already set up. Pete is incredibly nervous.

Logan: *handing out bows and arrows* ok kids you will likely never need archery as a skill but damn if it isn't fun so listen up, here are the rules-

Pete: no nonono!!! Remy he handed out the arrows early! We have to do something!

Remy: non is all good mon ami, trust me.

Pete: THIS IS LITERALLY HOW I DIED

Logan: now its important that you never notch an arrow when someone is down wi-*gets hit with an arrow in the neck*

Pete: WHAT DID I TELL YOU OH GOD... Well at least i will have an arrow buddy...

Remy: jus wait a minute.

Logan: *rips out arrow and wound immediately closes up, turns and marches over to kid who shot it, breaks the bow* you have lost archery privileges

Pete: wait what

Remy: yeaaaaah... He can't die.

Pete:.. Oh... I'm jealous at the same time horrified for him...

Remy: yeaaaaah...we try not ta tink about how he gonna watch us all die slowly...

Things to know about here:

The railway CB is from is Apollo Victoria railyard/railway. [It's just what I like to thing is the in universe place StEx takes place in. I picked up the idea from the fandom. Ty y'all. 🥰🥰]

CB is pretty chill for the most part unless you get him upset or when he feels like making trouble, and he likes his radio esque tech and such. [I can't help but think CB is just into that kinda stuff cuz he got radio stuff in him anyways. Lol. And I'm sure I'm not the only person who thinks the same. 🥰]

CB uses radio/trucker slang, mostly when he's talking over the radio but will sometimes use it as well face to face too. [I just love the idea of the freak Caboose using it. 🥰💖]

wall to wall and treetops tall = I hear you loud and clear, and that's what I use for answering asks.

breaker breaker = can anyone here me or or hello, it's a way to start a transmission/chat, and that's what I use for reblogging other people's things.

Translation for any radio slang is always in the tags of post. So don't worry to much about having to figure it out on your own. [I wasn't going to do it originally but I thought it would be better to have them. (⁠^▽^⁠;⁠)⁠ゞ]

I will do my best to be as accurate as I can to the characters, but I will most likely lean a lot towards my own interpretation of the character and this blog may also lean towards my own headcannon of things. So understand this will most likely not be very canon so to speak. Sorry not sorry. :P

Rogue: alright everyone we have an important announcement: we are havin our first group of mutant kids stayin over.

Rogue: anyways, this is more for your safety. These kids are a bit wild n we don't know their powers yet. Not only could they walk through you unexpectedly, but its possible their powers could effect ya like mine and we don't wanna risk that. We are all being extra careful, Gambit's spendin the next few days fireproofing the house just to be safe.

Hetty: those hooligans better not burn down my beautiful house.

Trevor: ok but why not just have the kids stay in the loft its like what, five? Six kids? There's plenty of room up there in the loft for that.

Alberta: yeah we can just avoid the loft! Why do we have to be the ones getting stuffed in a corner?

Gambit: dey don understand why it can't be da kids in da loft.

Rogue: *smiles* was hopin for that question, that's because we have already had a TV with netflix and a keyboard, an alexa, a dozen scented candles, Mah kindle with audio books, AND that light board that changes color when ya touch it so ya can play pictionary n hangman set up there for ya guys and it would be a shame if all that work went ta waste.

Ghosts: *suddenly super amicable to the idea and agree to it as if it was never a big deal and they file out*

Rogue: They on board?

Gambit: yep! ya knocked dat pitch outa da park, cher!

Rogue: yes! *high fives him*

Rogue: good...we probably only needed the tv didnt we? We spoil them way too much...

We're unlikely to call ourselves "Antiship" as we recognise Proship can be used for healing and that (some) Antis advocate for a lot of harrassment and other nuances. But we'll never be completely "Proship" because the community is typically very harmful to minors and there's a lot of indulgence and enabling without restraint or attempting to keep yourself in check. It can very easily become an addiction and prolonged exposure without such checking can (although very slowly) result in normalising horrible things showcased in Proship media. It's sort of like feeding a stray animal, it'll always come back for more and more.
