reminiscing + victoria’s secret PINK back then vs. now ♡︎♡︎♡︎♡︎♡︎

victoria’s secret PINK was the go to place w ur friends when y’all went shopping at the mall. every time i went to the mall back in middle school, i always made sure to stop there. i’ve always loved VS PINK. i always asked for victoria’s secret pink merchandise for my birthday or for christmas. it’s such a girly brand, however, it’s changed.

VS PINK had clothing that i feel was very unique from other brands. the clothing was really cute and girly. the fold over yoga pants, panties, tops, etc … it consisted of sequin, glitter, animal print, and so on.

the body sprays, perfumes, lipglosses … the packaging was TOP TIER ! i’m gonna forever reminisce about the beauty rush lipglosses (although, that was more victoria’s secret.) the scents of the sprays, perfumes, lotions, etc smell so good, but the packaging made it 10x better. i miss when the packaging was in cursive and had patterns on them. i still have some of my old beauty products from VS PINK. i don’t use them, but i keep them and pretty much treat them as if they’re a souvenir. lol

ᴍɪꜱᴄᴇʟʟᴀɴᴇᴏᴜꜱ

do u all remember when VS PINK had school supplies such as notebooks, backpacks, etc ? what an era !!! i had a few VS PINK backpacks in middle and high school. i don’t have too much to say in this section other than the fact that the accessories and supplies were extremely cute. i also miss the cute tote/duffle bags.

ᴠꜱ ᴘɪɴᴋ ᴅᴏɢꜱ

this deserved its own section. the VS PINK dogs has to be the #1 souvenir of all souvenirs. i will NEVER get rid of mine ! i feel like they are so special. they were so cute and they had the glitter and animal print that i have spoken of already. i really hope they bring them back. this dog is their brand like seriously.

ʜᴏɴᴏʀᴀʙʟᴇ ᴍᴇɴᴛɪᴏɴ: ᴠꜱꜰꜱ

i loved the fashion shows the most out of everything. my favorite fashion show will always be VSFS London 2014 <3. the last VSFS was in 2018. i was so devastated because the fashion shows were my childhood. however, i’m so glad i was able to experience them. the robes, lingerie, blowouts, makeup, bombshell curls, and overall sex appeal. all of those things shape who i am today ! i see that they’re bringing them back, and i hope it’s just as girly, flirty, and glamorous as they were back then.

𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓃 𝓋𝓈. 𝓃𝑜𝓌

it’s not as girly anymore. they got rid of all the things that represented who they were. this is a brand for the girly girls, and now it doesn’t seem like that’s the aim. if u want og VS PINK, u have to thrift it. they stopped making products like the ones shown above a long time ago and it still haunts me to this day. not only is it the simple fact that they got rid of these details, but in my opinion i feel like it’s not even pink anymore and w the store being called VS PINK, it’s crazy to me how every time i go in there to shop, i see neutral colors. a lot of the apparel now looks like things u would see in old navy. i’ve seen a bunch of beige, navy blue, etc. i honestly feel like they lost their glamour when the fashion shows ended back in 2018 and they made their brand more size inclusive, which isn’t a problem at all, but i hate the fact that they got rid of the glitz and glamour when they made that choice. i don’t understand why they couldn’t keep the same look. victoria’s secret however, so cute in there. my fav. ♡︎♡︎♡︎ so flirty and fun.
