My current perfume layering routine:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(I'm going for light and sweet roses and vanilla for the summer, but with a slight exotic twist)
Wash with sandalwood soap (I leave it sit for a few minutes because sandalwood is good for your skin)
Wash again with Imperial Leather Rose Milk and Mallow shower gel
Massage Palmer's Cocoa Butter Oil into my body while it's still damp (it smells like soft vanilla)
Moisturise with Nivea Rose and Argan lotion
Apply rose oil on my pulse points
Then spray perfume on top of the rose oil. My current favourite is Fatima Pink by Zimaya, which is a really really close dupe of PDM Delina and lasts for ages (if you like Delina but don't want to pay €260 and don't mind using a dupe I'd def recommend this for €40, it's the same scent and longevity in a different bottle). It smells like sweet, light roses, a bit fruity, and to my nose it smells kinda like Turkish Delight.
I'm also:
Using Jurlique rose hand cream every time I wash my hands
Washing my hair a couple times a week with As I Am coconut cowash, shampoo, and leave in conditioner (they smell like coconut and Shea butter)
Oiling the ends of my hair daily with L'Oréal Elvive Extraordinary Oil (love the smell of this, and it also just glides on and softens the hair without looking greasy)
I also have been using honey peel masks, honey and almond sheet masks, oil pulling with coconut oil, applying Glossier birthday balm throughout the day and Klavuu rose lip treatment morning and night, massaging my scalp and hair with a mix of hot argan oil, black castor oil and jasmine oil once a week, and massaging argan oil into my face, lashes and brows at the end of my skincare routine (but nobody will be able to pick up on these scents except for me unless they're way too close lol)
Roses are in bloom at this time of year, and are classically feminine and elegant. Vanilla is also feminine and adds warmth and sweetness. Sandalwood is woody, exotic, and calming, while coconut is tropical, sweet and nutty, perfect for summer. Which is the vibe I want to evoke this summer - feminine, sweet, and summery, with some exotic allure.

Socialite Series: Cherry’s Master Post
Things that have helped me, that could help you. Here is a master list of my softmaxxing journey!
Body:
J*hn Bent*n’s workouts: Yes he’s an asshole but his workouts really do work. He used to train models and his workouts are life changing.
2. B-12 Lipo salines: These you can consume in a shot (like an injection) or in a saline (go to a GOOD DOCTOR for this). I prefer the saline, and my doctor recommended the 6 week course for me (one saline every week). It burns subQ fat and that was the main reason why I began using those. There is zero side effect to these, acc to my doc.  edit: don’t really recommend these anymore. I’ll update this list when I finish my Emsculpt.
3. Diet: More protein, more vegetables, more water and lesser intake of carbs. Carbs are important but i used to over-consume them. Cutting down has helped me a lot. I also did a gut bacteria test (you basically sent a piece of your shit to a lab and they analyse it) to understand what foods worked for me and what didnt.
4. Probiotics for metabolism management
5. Measuring: I stopped tracking weight and began tracking body fat % instead. I feel that this works better for me.
6. Wood therapy: I KNOW. You lot will think its bogus but it helped me and im sticking to it, so there. There’s no wood therapy spa near me, so i ordered the wood therapy tools from amazon, plastic wrap, a waist trainer, almond oil. I looked up videos on wood therapy and lymphatic drainage, and i do it for about 5 mins on my tummy and thighs before my work outs, wrap my torso with plastic wrap, throw the waist trainer on top.
Skin:
Accutane: this helped me tremendously with my acne and my skin is 95% blemish free now. If you are taking this, remember to be disciplined and regular.
Zero alcohol: I stopped drinking completely and its done my skin and health wonders.
Products: Sunscreen + Vitamin C combo in the AM. Retinol + moisturiser at night. Recommended by my dermat.
Hair removal: I refuse to shave because its so uncomfortable so i prefer to wax once in 2 months. Personally, when I began exfoliating my body twice a week - I use a scrub by the Body Shop - I noticed that the hair was growing back slower than it used to. I use a loofah for everyday too. I don’t believe in laser because it’s never just 6 sessions; you do have to have “maintenance” sessions as well post the 6.
Face sculpting: Gua sha on alternative nights. I dont know if this works or is placebo, but I felt like it did.
Body lotion every day. Twice a day sometimes. I swear, it makes you smell good and feel so soft.
Expensive make up: specially, foundation. I’m sorry, i know this could be controversial. But idk what cow semen Charlotte Tilbury puts in her make up, it seriously makes me glow. I’m yet to find a good drug store alternative. A while back, I stopped wearing concealer, and I began using a lighter shade of CT’s foundation as concealer over my normal shade. I feel that because the products are chemically the same, they blend better and don’t react and “peel.” Highly recommend that too. For the rest of my face like powder, blush, eyeliner, I do use normal drug store make up.
Oral hygiene:
I used to have braces. After taking them off, I noticed a difference in my jaw.
Brush, floss, Listrine, tongue cleaner
Mild whitening. I think Hollywood level teeth whitening looks crazy and I want to look as “naturally” beautiful as possible.
Hair care:
For hair growth: as recommended by my doc: minoxidil hair foam 5% w/w Tugain Foam.
High frequency wand before wash days on my scalp.
Moroccan hair oil. I use a tiny amount everyday on my ends after I finish my make up for the day and I swear it makes my hair shine like crazy.
I also got hair Botox done because i used to have curly but absolutely unmanageable hair. I tried to make it work for years but i gave up and caved in to having permanent straight hair and I love it.
I only shampoo twice a day so on days when i workout but don’t shampoo, i use hair perfume. I spray some of it on my brush and run it through my hair. I swear it works.
Overall:
The colour palette theory seriously works. I didn’t realise that wearing the right colours can impact you so much.
Confidence is absolutely key. I seriously recommend going to a group class of some sort if you have the time and just mingling with random people. Social situations are important to gauge your “standing.”
Random but if you have a big nose: grow out your eyebrows / fill them in slightly thicker. I noticed that when I had thin eyebrows, my nose would stand out more but when I made them thicker, it balanced my face out better.
Steam iron your clothes before you wear them. You will look 100% put together.
*IF* you’re aesthetically challenged when it comes to picking clothes, use my rule of thumb: never wear any more than 3 colours at once  (remember: IF you can’t put outfits together).

My In Depth Shower Routine 🎀🍦
♡ soap
use dove soap to clean every single part of your body, use a rag or washcloth. my favourite cloths to use are baby washcloths, as they’re a lot more softer. don’t be sparing with soap really lather it up on your cloth. or if your skin isn’t sensitive you can use exfoliating gloves
♡ body wash
use body wash to further clean your body and help moisturise and soften your skin. body wash is also good if you like to smell good, or if you want to smell a particular way body wash is good for layering scents, for example if you have a new marshmallow scented perfume buy a marshmallow scented body wash to intensify your scent. i use the cussons creations marshmallow skies body wash, and following up with treaclemoons sweet marshmallow hearts shower gel for a strong and delicious marshmallowy fluffy scent
♡ body scrub
use a body scrub with exfoliating gloves or with an african wash net to help exfoliate dead skin, my skin can get quite dry so exfoliating once a week helps to keep my skin glowing and radiant. do not use a body scrub everyday as it can actually break barriers in your skin, and make your skin really dry. and also match the scent to your body wash! i use primals cupcake body scrub as it smells like frosting 🍰
♡ shaving
always use a shaving cream, shaving butter or oil to shave your body, never ever dry shave. eos have a great vanilla scented shaving cream
♡ hair wash
use shampoo to clean your hair, and then use conditioner on the ends. if you really want your hair to smell good shampoo and condition your hair twice, use a fair amount of product aswell. use cake beauty’s hair products as they make me smell like a bakery
♡ deodorant
use dove deodorant as it’s really good at preventing odours and will keep you smelling fresh all day. i genuinely never smell bad. they’re really affective like men’s deodorant but smell more feminine and soft. i really loves dove products!
♡ moisturiser
as soon as i get out of the shower i will apply deodorant and then apply my standard body moisturiser, i use the vaseline cocoa butter lotion, as this works for my skin and is extremely affordable. it makes my skin so glowy for such a low price
♡ body mist
after i have applied my moisturiser i apply a body mist to my skin, my favourites at the moment are the pink sugar body mist, bath and body works cotton candy clouds, and cotton candy by body fantasies, if you’re on a budget but still want to smell good i recommend the so..? body mists, such as so...? cotton candy and so...? marshmallow. they’re so affordable but smell so so so good
♡ body butter
eeeeeek, my favourite step in my routine! i use body butter after I’ve applied my body mist to further moisturise and hydrate my skin, body butter makes your skin look so radiant and soft. my favourite body butter is called golden glow from theblackshopuk, it has a golden shimmer in it so it makes you look like a golden goddess, and it has a really sexy creamy vanilla cupcake scent. i love applying this to my body as it makes me feel so pretty
♡ body mist
apply body mist again after my body butter!
♡ perfume oil
so after I’ve applied my body mist i will apply a perfume oil, the scent of it will match up to everything else in my routine, i personally love the paradise perfumes body oils and they smell delicious, and have loads of different scents
♡ perfume
after my perfume oil is on my skin i will apply quite a lot of perfume, like i want to smell fucking good. i apply this everywhere, all over my body and all over my clothes

Ma’am!! I’ve come to humbly request something from you! 😔 Id love to see chubby aegon with prompt 25, focusing on a body part other than bellies (asker’s choice). I will go feral over man tiddies and those fingers of his thank you in advance.
Tumblr media
Changes
HEADCANON
PAIRING: Chubby!Aegon ii Targaryen x fem!Reader
WORDS: 533
WARNINGS: chubby!aegon, belly kink, mentions of moobs, nipple play, minor references to lactation (kink), nipple sucking, arm kink (?), soft feederism, fat kink, humiliation kink.
A/N - bestie the idea of Aegon with moobs is enough to make me bite wood... you just get me ♥️ I hope you don't mind, I combined the requests together since it was for the same prompt! these requests are based off this prompt list, #25 [focusing on a body part other than bellies (asker’s choice)].
and yes, that is Jim Hopper as a body reference… don’t judge me!
Tumblr media
Aegon's weight gain was a change you did not mind at all. In fact, you actually embraced his growth wholeheartedly, even if it was quite substantial.
The most blatant and noticeable physical change was his swollen, plush stomach that tripled in mass and width, fleshy rolls enveloping his sides, ample fat pooling at his hips.
Although, what intrigued you the most about his fattening body, was his tits... Technically, his moobs.
The more he devoured and ate whatever his hungry eyes laid on that was edible, his chest grew exponentially now having handful sized breasts.
The way his nipples and skin around his pecs were sensitive under your gentle, teasing touch, red, raw stretch marks surrounding the skin.
You would often relish in some devious, playful teasing, remarking on how luscious and massive his tits had grown.
"Aeg, baby, your tits are bigger than mine now. Mayhaps we have children, you'll be the one dripping with milk!"
You loved to flick at his sensitive, blush pink nipples. The way he would mindlessly moan when you would caress and fondle at them, massaging his tits with oil and lotion [him having to beg you, as he finds it helps to moisturise his stretching skin].
He would just be squirming, whimpering for more, for him to fuck you for some release, getting stiff from the nipple play.
Sometimes you even greedily enjoy playing with his moobs whilst he is eating or as you hand feed him yourself: as he gets fuller, teasing at how you can sense his tits already growing beneath your hold, the more you stuff him or so he does himself, abundantly.
More so, when you suck on his tits, demanding him to position himself on all fours, stomach just grazing over the surface of the mattress/floor, with you sprawled beneath, lips latched.
Eventually, with the exertion of his heavy weight along with the effects of gravity, his back arching in pain, he much prefers having you seated on his wide, thick lap grinding on him, you nestled in his strong arms, as you suckled on.
Not to mention his ARMS!!!
Aegon originally leaned towards the pudgier side in terms of his physicality.
Although the new lengths he reached now, made the older Aegon look scrawny, as though someone had pumped and inflated him steadily.
His arms bulky and plush now, the meaty flesh filled with copious bulging adipose was enjoyable enough to grip and squeeze.
Often your red, imprinted fingerprints left evident marks against his pale skin, from your tight grip: although Aegon did not mind, he could hardly feel you squeeze with all your bite.
You found them sturdy to hold, especially his broader, softer shoulders.
Even more so, Aegon's hands themselves, his fat had evenly spread across his entire body, even stored in his fingers, becoming pudgier, his grip although rough, was soft with the excess meat on his bones.
His hands, wrists and forearms/elbows scored with creases along certain joints of his body from the ample chub pooling across his limbs.
Nonetheless, you were enthusiastic about Aegon's physicality changes. Worshipping his growth, Aegon was scarcely insecure with his body, for your affections spoke for themselves loudly.

aikaveh headcanons ꕤ*.゚
Tumblr media
sorry for the absence i wanted to kms <3 anyway, i am perfectly normal and sane about them.
the olive theory, but with strawberries
Kaveh loves strawberries. Whether it's perfume, the actual fruit, smoothie, or scented body lotion, he adores them. He could eat a ton of strawberry-flavored food without ever getting sick of it. When on the other hand, Alhaitham despite them. Not to mention the fact that he's allergic to them. So, when his roommate sprinkles himself in strawberry perfume with strawberry chapstick, he always blames him for trying to commit homicide. Which could be true.
Bonus; Kaveh has a special corner for his strawberry scented stuff: a little drawer in his room, in which is stored his little treasure. Perfume, body mist, moisturiser, chapstick, lipstick, shampoo, and even special Hello Kitty strawberry scented tissues (n/a: i do have those tissues and they're amazing).
alhaitham gives the best to kaveh
Kaveh may always complain about how Alhaitham is a horrible being with him, that he doesn't love him, but it's not true. In fact, Alhaitham is just bad at expressing what he truly feels, and prefers to show him his attention and love in the little acts he does daily. And for that, he always gives Kaveh the best of anything.
When he cooks for both of them, Alhaitham tries to give Kaveh the best pieces of meat, and the better-looking vegetables. He gives him the most comfortable seat when they're at a tavern, or the place with the best view when they go to the movie or concert. He always makes little sacrifices like those for his senior, without noticing. But it doesn't bother Alhaitham: honestly, he likes it better this way.
story telling for a better night
It happens many times that Kaveh can't find sleep, or just have awful nights. And Alhaitham, as an analyzer, knows when it happens. The blonde seems to exhibit more agitation, frequently sighs, and changes positions frequently. When those things last for too long, Alhaitham just offers a hug to Kaveh, which he usually happily accepts. As his roommate is comfortably snuggled up in his arms, he starts to read out loud the book he holds. Whether it's a history book, philosophy, or a well-known classic, Kaveh can't either complain or despise those precious moments. On the contrary, it brings him nothing but pure comfort and some peace of mind. As his mind gets some rest, he can find sleep. Still in Alhaitham's arms, he slowly falls asleep as he listens to his calm and quiet voice. <3
kaveh's skin
To be honest, Alhaitham is always blown away by Kaveh's skin. It's always smooth, flawless, soft, and so milky. The only remaining things on his skin are beauty marks and perfectly placed moles. Alhaitham knows how many moles he has, and where they are exactly placed on his roommate's body. For example, he knows Kaveh's got one in the middle of his spine. Alhaitham can see it through his shirt, as it's opened right where the mole is (and on other occasions as well).
Kaveh does skincare routines a lot. Every day, actually. For his products and advice, he asks Tighnari. His friend prepares him special oils and cream for his skin and his hair (strawberry scented, ofc).
Anyway, Alhaitham physically and mentally can not get over Kaveh's perfect body and skin. He looks so edible and so delicious to him. He just wants to bite Kaveh everywhere he can and to chew on his more meaty body parts.
hugs, cuddles and sleep
It's no surprise to Kaveh that his roommate hates physical interactions. Usually, when Kaveh's feeling a little touchy, Alhaitham would just walk away. But eventually, he accepted this, tolerating this part of his personality. But it seemed that with time, the Scribe was a little more... needy for Kaveh's affection.
As for sleeping, it doesn't bother Alhaitham if his lover comes cuddling him. He wasn't used to the feeling at first since physical affection was not something he knew throughout his life, but the feeling was warm, pleasant, making him feel fuzzy inside.
꒱࿐♡ ˚.*ೃ
hi!! this has been in my drafts for over a year now and I finally decided to post it even though I'm self conscious lol. anyway, you can find me on twitter or ao3 for more :3 !!

SHOWER TIME:
The AoT characters and their bath and skincare routine 🫧
Tumblr media
Eren: He wouldn't admit it but he uses 3in1 products but keeps telling others that he doesn't. He brushes his teeth in the shower. Eren is always in a hurry, so he might not use skincare as often as he'd like.
Mikasa: Mikasa loves to take quick shower but her products - Lord heavens! She knows how to take care of her body. She mainly uses products to be more in touch with her origins.
Armin: Armin knows his products! He cares about cruelty-free and environmentally friendly products. He takes his time with his bath. After his shower, he takes the time to moisturise with Vanilia Coconut Body Lotion. His skincare routine always includes moisturiser and sunscreen, depending on the time of day.
Jean: Oh Jean might be not very familiar with products, he would buy overpriced products and wondering why they don't work or give him a rash. He invests nowadays more time in his routines since the girls keep saying how attractive guys can be if they do skin care! (He clips his toenails in the shower)
Connie: Connie would do his skincare before going to shower. Sometimes he doesn't do skin care but somehow his skin is flawless - Connie tell us your secret! He loves to use a loafer to scratch his back better.
Sasha: Sasha loves bathing more than showering because she can eat snacks and wash her hair. Her products wouldn't have a particular smell: as long as they keep her body moisturised, it's all good! But after the shower, she loves to do her hair while she to dances in the bathroom.
Levi: Our lovely Captain is known for being a clean freak! His work is always meticulous - even when he takes a shower! He takes his time to clean every inch of his body. He is a big fan of using soaps instead of liquid shampoo. Did you know that he even massages his scalp to relax after a hard day's work as a captain? Somehow his bathroom smells like lavender.
Erwin: He works while taking a bath. I mean it. He is always looking at his documents, planning the next expedition or approving Hange's experiments. Nobody really respects his privacy as he's the commander and has to be alert all the time…poor Erwin.
Hange: ah Hange may not shower often, but when they do - oh oh. They don't really care what products they use - don't wonder why they have dish soap in their bathroom… Hange love to mix their products to create new ones. They have special plants to mix in their bathroom - but I don't know how they get the rose petals and aloe vera to smell so bad… Their face is sometimes very dry, but they refuse to moisturise their face - "our bodies produce oil!" - Yes of course Hange…
Moblit: Moblit is very romantic when it comes to showering: classical music, a good-smelling bathroom and quiet music in the background. He knows that good natural products smell good. As he likes to spend more time in the shower, Hange always interrupts him, so his shower lasts max. 10 minutes.
Mike: I don't know how this man knows which product to use but he knows them damn well!. He knows the best oils for his hair and his beard. Sometimes he uses Hanges rose petals to keep the mood up.
Ymir: Ymir loves a quick shower! Thanks to Historia for using her products. Even though Historia tells her not to brush her wet hair, she still does.
Historia: Let's be honest: Historia is the reason why the girls use skincare! She always recommends the best products individually. (She is better than skincare TikTok). She loves the 7 steps of skin care. She knows how to clean herself and smell good! She is the IT girl!
Reiner: Reiner is always asking Historia about good smelling products and what would suit him. He takes a shower twice a day because he can get so sweaty sometimes.
Bertholdt: Bertholdt loves to play in the bath. He has probably over 50 rubber ducks and hides them after showering (his favourite is the pirate one). He uses perfume in the hope of getting compliments from Reiner (and Annie).
Annie: Bath time is perhaps the only time when no one disturbs Annie. She always locks her bathroom and listens to music on her headphones. She uses Hitch's products all the time.

What is the no makeup skincare routine of Alicia Keys?
So, after much erosion of time and memory, these are the parts I kept (with equivalent products):
Avene Eau Thermale Thermal Spring Water spray (keep in fridge, spray) (highly highly recommend. transforming. if nothing else this product changed me. I genuinely Do Not Understand Why but I try not to question it.)
Jade roller (keep in fridge) and add Vitamin C serum with caffeine (couple drops over roller, roll over face) -> the oil I get? but personally I think the jade roller thing is bullshit. Nevertheless, what it *makes* me do is a ritualistic ~paying attention~ to all parts of my face when otherwise I would just blob, swipe, go. And so it works because the roller means I moisturise every part equally instead of just putting a blob of oil on a cheekbone and walking away with a shiny nose and dry spots on the cheeks
Moisturiser base - Alicia's makeup artist's recommended one (a suncream) stopped being made a few years ago, the equivalent I found which gives same results (but not suncream) is Moo Goo's Natural Fast Hydrating Lotion, which has the benefit of also being a full body moisturiser so, less product on shelf = always a win
Add a tiny bit of primer or foundation to the moisturiser base, mix on hand before spreading on face. Again, Alicia's primer not available any more, the equivalents I found is 1) La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo, or 2) my current preferred-> Primp and Prime from The Organic Skin Company
Exfoliate lips once a week, brown sugar
Some mask thing once a week (I used to bother, no more, vague memories of it, no material difference)
A La Roche-Posay lip balm which I tried to google and found it was just discontinued? SOB (literally the only lip balm I have found in my entire life that delivers lastingly non-dry lips. I have this in bulk in my wardrobe. My lips crack to the bleeding. I've had friends say, "oh, but dry bleeding lips are just your aesthetic?" This stopped once I found this product. I can actually wear lipstick if I want without the colour leaching into the cracks like those cracked desert terrain images)
Do peripheral details because they will stand out:
-Do eyebrows once a week, tidy stray hairs
-Do hairline once a week (depends on ethnicity/hairline, mine does filter down into the face-space)
-Use eyelash curler
and lastly, the "no makeup" bit I did have to laugh at and I don't do:
Actually *wear* makeup for the red carpet, comprising tinted primer, mascara, tiny bit of eyeliner, light eyebrow pencil shaping, transculent shiny stuff rubbed on cheekbones, and a very carefully selected concealer for the under eye bags and general real world pigmentation which exists on all skin
The only thing I've added based on other reading, which I also attribute to the aggregate contributing of fixing my previous 25 years plus of weekly skin problems and pimples:
Shave my face once a week using the Avene spray as my shaving 'liquid'. Chin, cheeks, moustache, around eyebrows, monobrow, hairline, all of it. Unspeakably good results. Tiny small facial razor. Razor goes over each piece of skin exactly once, slowly, and use a very very sharp razor so there is no repeated strokes.
(The Avene spray, jade roller + serum, and the strategy of adding teh primer/foundation to the moisturiser to thin it out/improve spread were the true original items IIRC; the rest have adapted over time.)

The only everything shower routine you’ll ever need ౨ৎ
Pre shower
Hair -
Scalp oiling: use a store bought scalp oil or make your own. Cover hair with cling film to stop dust and dirt while it stays in your hair for 2-4 hours.
Rosemary water: boil rosemary in water for 20 minutes and allow to cool before straining into a spray bottle.
Scalp massage: massage scalp for at least 20 minutes once scalp oil is applied, increases blood circulation which helps hair growth.
Face -w
Flaxseed mask: mix 1/2 flaxseeds with 3 cups water, bring to a boil until thick while continuously stirring then put into a container to cool. Apply to face once cool and leave until dried, around an hour.
Shape eyebrows: pluck eyebrows, if wanted use dye to define them further.
Hands and feet-
Foot spa: if you don’t have a foot spa fill a bowl with hot water, add bath salts and essential oil for scent and extra benefits
Remove any nail polish
Shape and file nails
Scrub feet: use pumice stone or another tool, then afterwards a body/foot scrub.
Body -
Dry brush: start from the bottom of your body and work you way up. Promotes blood circulation and exfoliates giving you smooth skin.
During shower
Hair -
Double shampoo: double shampoo when scalp oiling to properly cleanse scalp of oil.
Hair mask: while the hair mask sits in your hair for 10+ minutes it’s a good time to gua sha your face.
Conditioner
Face -
Gua sha: open lymph nodes, go through a gua shaing routine, then drain lymph nodes. There are lots of tutorials online to follow. I gua sha in the shower with a face wash and water. Never gua sha on dry skin it damages your skin barrier and causes premature aging, if you skin starts to feel like it’s pulling add more moisture.
Face wash
Body -
Exfoliate: use a glove, net or other exfoliating tool to exfoliate body.
Body scrub
Body wash
Shave (if wanted): use a sharp razor, blunt razors can cause razor bumps. Shave with a cream or wash, never on skin alone.
After shower
Face -
Face mask
Skincare: if you have products that you only use every so often this is a good time to use them as an extra treat.
Eye mask
Lip scrub: make your own with sugar, honey and coconut oil or use a store bought one.
Lip balm/moisturiser
Eyelash and eyebrow oil/serum: castor oil works great for me.
Body -
Body oil: apply a scented body oil straight out of shower while skin is still damp.
Moisturize: moisturise entire body.
Hair -
Leave in conditioner: depending on hair type the amount will vary, if you have straighter hair add very little and only to the ends to prevent greasiness.
Hair oil: once hair is completely dry warm a tiny amount of hair oil in your palms (hair oil is not the same as scalp oil!) rub into the very ends of your hair to help with split ends, shine and dryness
Hands and feet -
Paint nails
Cuticle oil: apply either bought cuticle oil or another skin oil such as almond oil or coconut oil to cuticles of hands and feet after nail polish is dry.
Moisturize: moisture both hands and feet, add vaseline to feet on top and put on socks to help absorption
Extras
Layer scents: mix and match the scents body washes, scrubs, hair products and moisturisers to create your personal scent. For example fruity, warm and spicy, vanilla, etc.
Pick products for your concerns: curate your products to your skin and hair concerns. Use a more moisturising lotion is your skin is dry, use a repairing shampoo if your hair is damaged, etc.
The best time to do an everything shower is on reset days, although it’s a great way to end and start the week these don’t have to be on Sundays. Of course everything showers can be done whenever you feel like relaxing and giving yourself some love.

Wow you’re a self care expert! Can you share your hygiene routine please?
I shower every day, usually in the evenings. I dry brush from my feet up to my chest while the water warms up. Then while I'm in the bath, I wash my body first with a natural soap (currently using sandalwood soap but it varies), letting it sit for a while before washing again with a scented shower gel. I also wash under my armpits with Head & Shoulders (the zinc in it helps prevent odour).
I also shave my legs and yoni daily, using conditioner and Gillette Men's Razors (feels smoother than women's razors). I prefer removing my armpit hair with Nair as shaving it makes the armpits dark and discoloured.
After showering, I apply oil all over my body while it's still damp, and apply Brazilian Bum Bum cream on my breasts. I use antiperspirant at night so that it has time to absorb by morning.
After putting on clean pyjamas I'll complete my evening skincare routine (usually I'll have cleansed my face in the shower along with the rest of my body). I prefer doing my skincare routine a couple of hours before going to sleep as that gives the products time to absorb (whereas if you do it right before bed they'll get smeared off on your pillow). And I put my overnight lip mask on every evening. I also like spraying perfume before bed.
This will probably sound like overkill 😅 but as well as moisturising after showering, I also like moisturising my body with a light lotion as soon as I wake up in the morning. Especially as I'm currently taking a medication that has the side effect of drying out skin. I prefer oil straight after a shower but moisturizer can't penetrate oil so I just save the lotions for morning. I also put thick cream on my feet before putting socks on and on my hands before gloves.
I wash my hair twice a week (coarse, thick naturally curly/wavy hair so any more than that makes it feel dry).
Brush my teeth morning and night with Pearl Drops toothpaste and use mouthwash in between meals. I do oil pulling a couple of times a week and teeth whitening strips once a month (I don't use them more often because they make my teeth feel sensitive).
And I don't repeat outfits or shoes days in a row. Shoes and clothes are left to air out for a day (and clothes are washed after 2 uses).

Reading your shower routine makes me so happy because mine is so similar and I can’t deal with changing it but my friends think it’s over the top so I’m sharing it on here because it feels like a safe space.
I shower at least four times a week because I get anxious when I don’t but I wash my hair once a week at the very most because it is wavy/curly and washing it regularly makes it very poofy and frizzy.
Hair washing starts with brushing my hair, wetting my hair then brushing it with my wet hair detangler then using my shampoo, I wash it out then I use my conditioner I let the conditioner sit for ten minutes.
Then I wash out the conditioner and put the deep conditioning mask in we turn off the shower set an alarm and watch TV for an hour in my towel then I wash that out.
To finish off the shower I exfoliate my ENTIRE body and I use a specific foot scrub cause I’m a check out chick and used to do ballet and tap so my feet are nasty. Then I wash my body I don’t shave because I wax (not that anyone needs to do either)
I towel dry but I let myself air dry while I do my hair which involves brushing it then applying serum brushing the serum in then applying some anti frizz oil, then I apply some scalp oil as well even though I’ve already put the anti frizz oil in. Then I put my hair in a wrap so it doesn’t get knotty at night (I do this every night not the serum and oil but the hair wrap)
Then I apply the body oil, once that’s dried in I apply this very thick body butter I have then I apply this special foot lotion in a thiccc layer and put socks on so it can soak into my skin. Also hand cream.
Then I apply skincare which is cleanser, exfoliator, sheet mask, regular mask, eye patches, lip patch, serum, eye cream, face oil, moisturiser, retinol, acne patches, Vaseline on the lips and eyebrows, eyelash serum. (My skincare changes depending on the night this is for my big skincare night)
Then I put my PJs on make sure my nails are on properly cause I’ve always got falsies on and I go to sleep covered in a ridiculous amount of product feeling happy and moisturised.
Is it extremely excessive? Yes. Do I need to do it? No. Does it make me feel happy and less anxious than before? Yes.
This was so long wtf I 100% understand if you don’t respond.
yes!!! i think a longer shower routine is great because it helps you unwind!! you can’t really be on your phone much so it’s a great time to reflect from the day :)!! don’t change it for anyone <33

Maintaining Your Spray Tan: Tips for Long-Lasting Results from Lake Macquarie's Beauty Experts
Achieving a flawless spray tan is just the first step. To keep that golden glow looking fresh and vibrant for as long as possible, it's essential to follow the right aftercare routine. At Blush Beauty Empire, our clients in Lake Macquarie love the natural, sun-kissed look our spray tans provide, and with the right maintenance, you can enjoy your radiant skin for up to 10 days or longer.
Tumblr media
Here are expert tips to help you maintain your spray tan and ensure it fades evenly, keeping your skin looking stunning.
1. Moisturise Regularly
Hydration is key to maintaining your spray tan. After your tan has fully developed, make it a habit to moisturise your skin daily. Well-moisturised skin helps your tan last longer and prevents it from fading unevenly or becoming patchy.
Opt for a moisturiser that is free of harsh chemicals and alcohol, as these ingredients can cause your tan to break down faster. Look for hydrating formulas with ingredients like aloe vera, shea butter, and glycerin.
2. Wait Before Showering
One of the most crucial steps in maintaining your tan is allowing it to fully develop after your spray tan session. After your appointment, avoid showering, sweating, or swimming for at least 6 to 8 hours. This gives the tanning solution time to fully absorb into your skin and achieve the best results.
When you do shower, use lukewarm water and a mild, sulfate-free body wash to avoid stripping away the tan. Pat your skin dry with a towel instead of rubbing it, which can cause the tan to fade unevenly.
3. Avoid Exfoliating After Your Tan
Exfoliating before your spray tan is essential to achieve an even application, but after your tan, it’s best to avoid exfoliation. Harsh scrubs, loofahs, or exfoliating gloves can cause your tan to fade faster and unevenly.
If you do need to exfoliate (for example, before your next spray tan), use a gentle exfoliator a few days after your tan starts to fade naturally.
4. Use Gentle Body Products
Harsh soaps, shaving creams, and body washes can strip away your spray tan. Switch to gentle, hydrating products that will help preserve your tan and keep your skin soft. Avoid using products that contain alcohol or oil-based ingredients, as these can break down the tanning solution and cause your tan to fade prematurely.
If you shave, use a fresh razor and plenty of shaving cream to minimise any friction that can remove your tan.
5. Wear Loose Clothing Post-Tan
After your spray tan session at Blush Beauty Empire, we recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing to avoid friction on your skin. Tight clothes or fabrics like jeans can rub against your skin and cause your tan to become patchy.
Choose lightweight, breathable fabrics that allow your tan to develop without interference, especially in the hours immediately following your appointment.
6. Protect Your Skin from the Sun
While your spray tan gives you a golden glow, it doesn’t protect your skin from the sun. Always wear sunscreen with at least SPF 30 when spending time outdoors, even if you have a tan. Sun exposure can dry out your skin, causing your tan to fade more quickly, and can lead to premature skin ageing.
7. Touch-Up Products Can Help
If you notice your tan starting to fade unevenly or you want to extend its life, there are tanning touch-up products available. Gradual self-tanning lotions or tanning mousses can help maintain an even colour between your professional spray tan appointments.
Choose a product that complements your existing tan, and apply it as instructed to keep your glow fresh and even.
8. Stay Hydrated
Keeping your body hydrated from the inside out is essential for maintaining healthy skin and prolonging your spray tan. Drink plenty of water to keep your skin soft and supple, which helps your tan last longer and fade evenly.
9. Book Regular Appointments
For those who love having consistent tan, regular spray tan appointments are the way to go. At Blush Beauty Empire, we offer flexible booking options to ensure your skin stays radiant all year round.
