So I've been thinking of an object show, fanfic, comic, whatever thing.

It's called "The Game of Chance," and it's an entirely luck based gameshow that gets progressively more and more morbid and gorey as it continues. I even have everything about the hostess picked out and ready.

Halloween Day 28

Don't fuck with corvids.

I am not a particular fan of Diane Setterfield, but her marvelous Victorian gothic Bellman and Black has stayed in the back of my mind since I read a a galley of it before it was released. The Victorian obsession with the rituals and ornamentation of death, a specifically male inability to deal with grief or guilt, and the well known intelligence and long memories of black birds, make this a morbid wonder as we walk through the doorway that leads to the end of a year.

Cherry knew better than to go past the old weathered bench. She knew if she went any further she’d end up on his radar. This was the edge of the Osborn Estate Security and even if she hadn’t been here in over a decade she still knew it in the back of her hand.

She shouldn’t be here. Ever muscle in her frame screamed at her to go back to the safety of her own neighborhood, to the familiar sights and smells of the Sanctum or the vault like security of Happy’s apartment. Anywhere but here.

A morbid sense of curiosity had brought her here. She had escaped Norman’s clutches so long ago and he’d never tried to find her. He had always sworn if she left he’d hunt her down and drag her back and make her into on of his experiments. Maybe Tony had chased him away and had never told her. Maybe all of their efforts had worked and Norman had just never found her. Maybe he’d died or maybe he’d been blipped and hopefully never came back.

She wanted to know. She wanted answers. She wanted closure and maybe that would help her move on. Maybe that would help her start to move forward to the life she wanted.

Cherry had been on the bench for a long time, staring at the weathered wrote iron fence that wrapped around the private property. The day was grey and misty and the chortle of birds and crows could be heard occasionally. She wasn’t sure how long it took her to realize one of rough calls wasn’t quite like the rest. She looked to the empty spot on the bench to realize it had been occupied by large glossy void of a corvid. It blinked one eye, then two, and then a couple others seems to materialize to blink in an unsettling fashion.

She sighed softly, looking like a child guilty of sneaking out of their room after curfew, “Don’t tell the guys, okay?” She asked the eldritch raven.

As a collective we are transgender, transmasculine, genderqueer, xenogender, bisexual and aroacespec. My parts have their own identities and pronouns.

I have quite a few disorders and disabilities that impact the way I function and interact online. We are a part time cane user, struggle with tone and are often low energy. Please be patient when interacting with us.

We use plural and singular terms, and use the terms alters / parts. Do not use sysmate / headmate or anything else.

Most of us cannot understand tone tags and do not use them, they're only used by and to our partner system.

1. What is their name, and how old are they? Does their name or birthday hold any significance?

It was coincidence, actually x'D My bestie name generator spit out Kalagna and i thought it fit, and didn't expect her mother to have such a similar name lol. I'm still not sure if these was an IC reason for the name tbh.. Maybe it's just a really generic dwarf name

5. What do they specialize in within their class?

Champion! Kala is not exactly a heroic leader type, but she does have a very strong presence on the battlefield, and is aware of that fact. So it seemed like a good fit :]

10. Are there any animals they have a particular love or hatred for?

She has a fascination for birds (to Shale's dismay)! Songbirds and corvids especially. Also a big bug enjoyer, and has gained a lot of respect for mabari. Not so much a fan of underwater critters though. Specially large ones.

Origins

25. How did your Warden resolve Warden’s Keep? Stone Prisoner? The Golems of Amgarrak?

Warden's Keep was. Ok? Demons are kinda spooky but mostly an annoyance, to her. She does not care much for surfacer history, so it didn't leave an impression in that regard either. Def killed Avernus though.

I think it's probably no surprise that as a dwarf, she was curious about this supposed golem and went investigate. Didn't expect to find an Actual Working Golem (which turned out to be not 'working' but 'sentient') though. For how she dealt with Kitty i'd have to check the keep, but knowing Kala she killed her as soon as she knew it was a demon.

For Amgarrak, she wasn't sure if keeping it quiet or spreading the would be more efficient in keeping more people from experimenting further, but either was she wanted to shut it down. Couldn't deny that a part of her had a morbid curiosity about the research, but there was a reason she destroyed the anvil, and this proved that she was right to do so. The lyrium wells were a bunch of brainfuckery that she did not deal with any more than needed.

2. my sides are similar but not the same as the sanders sides, instead of Anxiety, theres Shyness, instead of Intrusive Thoughts, theres just my more morbid creativity n curiosity n my Morality leans more towards hypocrisy n being contradictory instead of being moral

6. somewhat ? some sides i associate v heavily w colors (ie: me associating Logic w black n Creativity w white), but for the most part i associate them more w animals than w colors

6.1 specifically i associate Creativity w lions (since shes also my pride/confidence, among other traits), my Morality w chameleons (since, like i said, my Morality is leans more towards being contradictory n hypocritical n chameleons symbolize hypocrisy) i swing between making Lying a fox or goat (foxes also symbolize deceitfulness, n theres a reason why Satan n Demons, which im pretty sure are often described as deceitful in most Christian/religious texts, are often depicted w goat like features such as hooved feet n horns), Shyness is a porcupine (cause porcupines tend to be quite shy irl), Beliefs is a bull (since bulls do sometimes symbolize stubbornness), my Morbidity/Dark Creativity w vultures (cause thats the only animal i could think of thats "morbid) n my Logic is a crow/raven cause ravens n crows are often associated w smartness

11. not yet no ://, im still in the process of creating coherent personalities for them so i havent gotten around to making playlists n pinterest boards for them yet :/

16. one trait im definitely giving my Morality is speaking in riddles n singing songs related to whatever problems arise, she rarely explains how the song/riddle relates to the situation or why it brought it up in the first place, due to this sometimes it takes days for the others to realize what it meant

all my sides use different sets of pronouns, all of which are just different sets that i currently use, those pronouns are: Creativity uses she/he/it/ve/create/draw, my Morbidity/Darker Creativity uses he/they/blood/gut, Morality uses she/it/they, Logic uses all neos but not she/he/they, Shyness uses he/him, Lying uses all pronouns, including all neos n Beliefs is she/it/bull/strong/vir/virgo/he

all of my sides can shift into the animals i associate w them !! they can even change their sizes :), so Logic can make xemself a really big or really small corvid depending on its mood, Creativity can make herself as tall or as short as it wants, etc

they dont have names !! (so Logic isnt called Ethos, Creativity isnt called Clementine or whatever) they just call themselves by their "roles" such as Lying or Beliefs or Morbidity or whatever, this is why i avoided calling them names this entire time :) !!
