Oscar Piastri x Fem!reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: You guys are used to having people send out free drinks because they fancy Oscar, but when it was your turn he did not like it one bit. (Inspired by the oneshot I’ve read, I forgot who the author was sorry😭)
Genre: Fluff
Note: nothing, just look out for grammatical errors and this is not proofread

The sun radiated brightly emitting a soft glow that shined over the flesh of your skin— it was creating a rather medium type of shade the longer it sets on your body.
You don’t mind it though, as long as you were relaxed and rested in the embrace of you boyfriend; everything was just okay.
You and Oscar, along with his fellow drivers decided to have a day off at the beach. It was trip that has been long overdue, due to their busy schedules the trip was postponed one to many times.
So when they had their day off, the lot of them took advantage of it and agreed to pay the beach a visit— enjoying the calming atmosphere that surrounds the beach and having to spend time with their significant others. The whole afternoon was nothing but perfect.
After playing volleyball, you guys decided to just chill near the bar lounge and gossip about anything that comes to mind.
You and Oscar sat at the middle in between Carlos and Lando. As they talk more and more, your eyes started to drift off; the sound of their voices started to mix the other background clamoring.
Your eyes were closed but was still tentative— you could still feel the brush of air that lightly ran over your skin along with Oscar’s fingers that circulates at the curve of your back.
With a low hum, you acknowledged his gesture and was pleased to let him know that you appreciate it.
As time passes by, they were all still happily chatting; laughing at each other’s joke and a bit of yelling but playful one’s of course. Everything seemed to be going so great.
Well not until one of the staffs walked towards their way, holding a tray that consists of one drink.
The whole group looked curiously as the man settled the drink in your table. The loudness of their voices suddenly died down—all eyes looking intently at the man whose just doing his job.
With the sudden quietness, curiously you fluttered your eyes open. Not being able used to the sound of silence, you propped your body up and was now leaning your whole body at Oscar’s chest.
Your eye’s widened as all attention was onto you— you felt the intense feeling of being stared at back of your head.
“Good day ma’am, that gentleman over there wanted to give you this” he spoke, his hand then went to his vest and pulled out a piece of paper.
The waiter handed you the note and left, right after you took the piece of paper.
“What does it say?” Max asked, just as curious as the others.
“I’d like to know as well” oscar spoke, his tone laced with both curiosity and jealousy.
“Well…” you trailed off and then proceeds to open the folded paper.
‘Hey hot stuff, can i have your number??’
You giggled at the childish note, making your friends cock their head to the side, anticipation rushed over them as they try to read the expression off your face.
Meanwhile Oscar was not having it, he caught a glimpse of the note and saw what was written over it. Oh he was not happy at all.
“It’s nothing, just some guy asking for my number, it’s stupid really” you spoke, brushing off the note like it was nothing, i mean it was nothing well for you it was.
For Oscar, it was like all hell broke loose, did that guy not notice Oscar or something?
All the others just laughed; you along with them. It was just a harmless attempt to get to you, it’s not that big of a deal. Oscar gets those every-time and it’s fine cause you know he wouldn’t act on it or anything.
You we’re about to reach for the drink when you felt Oscar’s hand grabbing it first. You turned to his direction and raised your brows at his action.
“Oooh someone’s jealous~” Lando teased, repeating it two more times before laughing out loud. The others heard the commotion that lando started and played along with his jokes.
Oscar rolled his eyes, completely denying his emotion. “I am not jealous, i just think it’s stupid,” he shrugged, trying to play it cool— even though you could tell his true feeling just by looking at his face.
“Yeah right” Carlos replied, earning a fit of giggle from around the group.
“You’re not actually jealous? Are you baby?” You spoke teasingly, chuckling a little at your own words.
“Like i said, i am not” he said in a monotone voice; he was acting childish it was adorable. In your eyes it was— it wasn’t in his.
You then slowly shifted your body to face his and snaked your arms that rested on his shoulder blades. “Don’t take it at heart baby, you know I won’t actually give him my number right?” You whispered, loud enough for him to only hear.
“I know…” he sighed, his arm settled in the plush of your thighs; squeezing the soft surface to find comfort.
“I just don’t like it that i was here and he still asked you, am I invisible or something?” He added. His head hung low to avoid your stare.
A soft giggle left your lips as you grazed your finger over his chin and slowly lift it up, so you could be eye to eye. “Now you know what i feel when someone does that to you, but baby rest assured that i am yours and only yours.”
Oscar slowly smiled and hugged your body close to his,”i love you” he muttered— the hug getting tighter to which you of course accepted happily.
“I love you too, my love” you smiled and pecked his lips; it was short but meaningful kiss of assurance.
The whole day then went fine, sure they were teasing him non stop but it doesn’t affect him that much like earlier because you were there to assure him every-time.
Creds to the real owners ideas, this is just my version of it! Hope you like it guys sorry for not posting to much I’ve been in a writers block😭😭

It was summer time, the sun was fucking hot as balls and everyone took the opportunity to travel.
So did jjk sorcerers. They work harddd and they don’t always get to have fun when exorcizing these curses, so a fun vacation would be nice.
They all joined in, like family! Fun little family trip to a beautiful river with clean water.
For some reason, Megumi seemed upset with a certain someone. I mean he always has a pissed off face but he was completely ignoring yn and instead talking with his other friends like Itadori and Nobara.
Some people had already gotten in the water while the others set up some towels and stuff. Megumi excused himself and headed to a bathroom near by.
He entered without looking if anyone was inside and once he locked the door he looked up to see yn looking at himself in the mirror.
“Megumi-“ The sorcerer quickly tried to get out but was pulled back into a bear hug.
“Baby…what’s wrong..? Did I do something wrong..” yn kissed Megumi’s shoulder making him go all flustered.
“I told you not to be obvious in public about our relationship. You…don’t listen.” Megumi stopped struggling and yn ran his hands over Megumi’s bare stomach and chest.
“It was a simple hug ‘gumi. I hug ita’ and Satoru..thought I could hug you….” Yn whispered tightening his arms.
“Mm..well you can’t. Not in front of others” Megumi squeezed out of yn’s arms and went over to fix himself in the mirror. Yn smirked and lazily wrapped his arms around Megumi’s waist.
He whispered about random things as his hands slowly massaged Megumi’s crotch making him squeak and push his ass back into yn, pushing him away.
“Stop doing..that..” He blushed finally leaving the restroom.
By now everyone was changed into their bathing suits, the guys in shorts, and practically already sweating due to the burning sun.
Yn had a towel where he put his, Yuji’s and Megumi’s stuff.
“YN CAN YOU PUT SUNSCREEN ON ME” Yuji asked, yn smiled and tapped on the towel.
He gently rubbed Yuji’s cheeks and nose with sun screen and he went to put some on his back.
Megumi watched as Yuji tilted his head relaxed as yn massaged his neck and shoulders.
He rolled his eyes and went to grab Yuji’s arm, he yanked him out of his spot and sat himself in front of yn. Yuji laughed and shouted a thank you before scurrying off.
“My turn” Megumi said.
“What do you sayyy…”
Megumi scoffed and was about to get up before yn held him down and told him to forget about it. He begun to rub some sunscreen onto Megumi who slumped a bit, he must be sleepy..
While no one was looking yn quickly flicked Megumi’s nipple who flinched and glared at his lover who just smiled innocently.
After some time of eating and messing around, they started to go into the water. some of the others were playing volleyball while Megumi just sat in the shallow water refusing to get himself anymore wet.
“‘Gumi ! Come into the water” yn called while the sorcerer ignored him. Yn sighed and went to sit next to Megumi.
“Afraid of the water?” He teased.
Megumi just grabbed some sand and threw it at the older who covered his face in time.
“So mean…fine I’ll leave ya alone” yn shrugged and went back into the water to attack his pink haired friend while Megumi glare, annoyed.
A couple minutes go by and yn is just watching the sunset all alone in the deep waters, feels nice:)
Megumi saw and sighed, he went into the water. Yn flinched when he felt someone grab his hand under water. He turned to see Megumi and smiled slowly leaning in before stopping when Megumi looked away flustered.
Yn looked around and dragged Megumi to where the others weren’t visible and they were still in deep water.
“Now no one can see us, hm?” Yn smirked while Megumi draped his arms around yns neck and hesitantly kissed him. Already it was a deep kiss.
Yn’s hands went into Megumi’s shorts and he dipped his finger into gumi’s hole making him wince.
“Wait- feels weird..”
“It’s still loose from last night…. quickie?~”
Megumi n opened his mouth to respond but no words fell. Yn took Megumi’s shorts off and placed it on a nearby rock.
With one hand he held one of Megumi’s legs up and prodded his dick at his entrance.
“Ngh-!” Fushiguro bit the inside of his cheek and rolled his eyes feeling yn completely enter him, he loved the that no matter how loose he was, he’d still stretch.
Fushiguro held onto yn by wrapping his legs around the his waist.
“Just like that and your mean act is gone…” Megumi couldn’t even snap back because he moaned at the feeling of yn pounding into him slowly.
“Haa..feels…” Megumi couldn’t finish his sentence as he covered his mouth with his hand. Yn had a tight grip on the guys hips and started thrusting into him at a faster pace.
“Mm! Mmmphh..~” Megumi’s pretty eyes fluttered shut as his prostate continued to get abused by yn’s bigger cock.
Yn wrapped his hand around ‘gumi’s cock and pumped at it making him whine and twitch.
“I-if you keep..unngh~ gonna c..come..” Just before he could release yn abruptly stopped and took his hand off Megumi’s cock making him cry.
“N..no…please, yn..”
“Please what…? Look at me ‘gumi baby..” Megumi’s face was crimson red as he nervously looked at yn.
“You don’t get to be a total bitch today..and expect me to give you what you want…I mean it’s only fair if I don’t, right?” Tears fell from Megumi’s eyes as he nodded pathetically.
“Don’t cry. You don’t have any reason to do so..” yn wiped away the tears holding back a smirk.
“That’s just how it’s gonna work” yn smiled and kissed the corner of Megumi’s lips.
He began fucking his pretty boy again who moaned into his ear. They kept going till Megumi’s was close again.
“Ugh- fuck please let me c-“ another stop, Megumi let out a broken sob as he dug his nails into yn’s shoulders.
“Hehe..you’re so cute ‘gumi..it’s insane how I can see parts of you no other person can… if only Yuji could see how much of a mess you’ve become just from my dick..” yn chuckled, Megumi felt his dick twitch and he was getting louder.
“Say sorry for today hon…” yn cooed running his hands over Megumi’s thighs.
“S-sorry…” Megumi said just above a whisper.
“For?”
“..for today…”
“One more time baby..”
“I’m s-sorry for today…” Megumi let out a small cry.
“Now what do you want?”
.
.
.
“Want you to f-fuck me…”
Yn wrapped his hand around the sorcerer’s throat and squeezed it a bit, he looked straight into his boyfriends eyes.
“That’s it..?~” he titled his head.
“Want y-you to fuck me till you cum d..deep inside my fuck-in’ boy pussy…~” Megumi choked a bit on his words, trying his best to smile.
Yn roughly kissed the black haired boy and a loud moan ripped from ‘gumi’s throat when yn pounded into him like a fucking animal raa
“AGH-! MMPH S’ TOO M..CH~” Megumi tangled his fingers into yn’s hair as he let out whorish moans.
“Yeah?~ wanna cum my sweet boy..?” Yn could see hearts in Megumi’s eyes as he nodded.
“Pleaaseee~! Oh fuck ‘m so close..don’t stop please don’t fuckin’ stop- AUGH—“ Megumi clenched around yn’s cock as cum ripped out of his cock. His tongue lolled out, letting his shaky moans fall into yn’s palm who laughed nervously.
Yn nuzzled his face into Megumi’s neck filling him up with his hot liquids.
They stood still for a bit…
“Really hope nobody heard you, love…” yn kissed Megumi’s neck who hummed lazily.
Yn pulled out and he saw the water around them slightly turn white as his cum left Megumi’s hole.
They quickly cleaned up and Megumi put his shorts on. Yn held Megumi’s hand and took him back to where the others were.
They asked where they had been but yn just responded with ‘went exploring the deep ocean’ and he helped get Megumi out of the water.
They went to the bathroom where yn helped clean Megumi a little better.
“You did well, ‘gumi. My good boy..” yn littered kisses all over Megumi’s face, neck n body while he just tiredly let yn take care of him.
His mind was still hazy so everything felt like mush. He liked the feeling of yn’s bigger hands roaming his smaller body.
Once they got back yn just sat on one of the beach chairs while Megumi sat in his lap and fell asleep with his face hidden in the crook of his neck.
“Woah- is he okay ?” Gojo asked.
“Yup, he’s just tired from all the swimming” yn smiled gently drawing circles on Megumi’s skin with his fingertips.
They all decided to leave at like 8pm, it was pretty dark but they all enjoyed their time. They changed and got back in their bus deciding to stop by a random barbecue place to eat.
Megumi’s eyes were closed the whole time as yn fed him like a baby. Nobody was really paying attention, too busy bickering about whatever. Megumi was freaking out over nothing…
Once they got home they went straight to sleep all cuddled up.
And they fucked

a/n: had this on my mind for a bit too long and I went from a one-time thing to full ass work, will post the masterlist tomorrow probably (the taglist is open!) tags: he fell first she fell harder, kenma is a bit of a loser, starving artist x (semi) rich guy trope, gender neutral reader!!!, reader is called 'dude', no usage of y/n cw: alcohol, swearing
← prev. | m.list | next →
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kenma looks down at his almost empty glass. His head feels fuzzy due to all the alcohol that's currently in his system. He tries his best to stay quiet and prays his viewers or friends don't notice his lack of commentary. Kenma knows to play it safe when it comes to his drinking due to his secret-spilling tendencies. He tries to protect himself from the embarrassment on top of the headache he will feel tomorrow. He turns his attention to Bokuto, who's currently talking about how much he misses his dear boyfriend as he's finishing his drink. Bokuto shoves his glass right in front of Kenma's face so Kuroo, who's sat on streamers other side, can refill his drink. Kuroo then proceeds to do the same for Kenma, leaning closer to one of the monitors to read what the chat is saying. Even though he was trying his best, the messages were coming in way too quickly for Kuroo to be able to read them. Just as he was planning to give up, a donation came through:
@ username: $30 for kodzuken to finish the glass and share his thoughts.
Kuroo reads out loud the donation, and with a grin on his face, he turns to look at his childhood friend. It catches Bokuto's attention, and he also starts to look at Kenma, waiting for him to say something.
'Shit' Kenma thinks, as now all of the attention is on him and not on the buffy men beside him. He should've made them wear compression shirts to further distract people from him. He thanks whatever high deity is currently looking over him to make sure he won't drink too quickly and still have control over his tongue.
"I'm not thinking." Kenma tries his best to avoid talking, even if it will make him look weird. He has too much on his mind and even more to loose.
"No thoughts, nice." Bokuto chuckles softly as he zones out, staring at the wall behind one of the monitors. Kenma observes him for a bit just to see Bokuto blink too slowly for the streamers liking.
"He might need a glass or two before we can make him talk," Kuroo says as he pours another glass for Kenma the moment his friend focuses on the volleyball player.
As another round of drinks is poured, Kenma's judgement is getting more and more clouded. His tongue loosens up, which doesn't go unnoticed by his childhood friend. Kuroo, who was waiting for this moment, asks Kenma once again to share his thoughts. A few moments pass in silence before Kenma speaks up:
"I think I'm in love, and we don't even know each other." Kenma's head hangs low.
"So what? That never stopped anyone!" Bokuto hates seeing any of his friends sad, so he tries to cheer Kenma up. He even went as far as putting an arm around his friend, which was quickly pushed away.
"It makes me feel so stupid, y'know? Like I know close to nothing about them. I don't know what they look like or which school they go to. I only know their name because I made a whole ass discord account just so I could see all the backstage stuff of their videos. I'm in love with someone who doesn't even know that I fucking exist. I'm in love with an illusion, for fucks sake!" Kenma raises the hand with the glass in it so high so quickly that he loses his balance, Kuroo's swift moves being the only thing saving him from falling over.
Bokuto shakes his head to agree while he still tries to process the words that just left Kenma's mouth. It takes him a minute before his own mind can come up with a thought of his own. When it finally does, Bokuto screams out: "WE SHOULD PLAY A GAME!"
"Yeah, let's pick something," Kuroo agrees, getting closer to the PC to look for something not too hard that they can play. Part of him hopes that people will not remember Kenma's confession and focus their attention on something funny that will happen while playing.
"Yeah, let's pick something," Kuroo agrees, getting closer to the PC to look for something not too
Kodzuken's viewers, on the other hand, didn't plan on letting this go. It was the first time their favourite streamer mentioned being interested in anyone, and they saw an opportunity. As Kuroo and Bokuto look for a game, chat is getting to work, with the stream now being nothing more than background noise.

★ FUNFACTS ❗️
• mattsun is one of kenma's mods I needed a connection between (name) and kenma and the wheel landed on him
• also I have no clue why the date is in Polish since my entire phone uses English (like yes I'm from Poland but I changed the language in my settings years ago)
• also I feel like Bokuto zones out a lot when drunk
• kenma ignored request for drinking stream for months but he ran out of ideas so he just did it in hopes that people will have better request next time

-Not for my friend?-
Pairing: Yamaguchi x reader
Syn: Yamaguchi has a small crush on you, but he has the small idea that you wanted Tsukishima instead, and so gets surprised when you speak to him instead.
REQUESTS: OPEN
Similar to my Aone one shot, I wrote this because my HEART BROKE when I found out his biggest fear is girls only speaking to him to get to know Tsuki instead </3
Tumblr media
“Hey look, that girl’s back again.” Tsukishima sighed, taking a sip out of his almost done water bottle.
Yamaguchi looked in the direction his friend gestured to, noticing the same girl that had been watching them practice sitting beside Yachi this whole week.
“Oh.. right. She keeps looking at you. I think she might like you.” He laughed trying to lighten his own mood.
To be honest, he wished she were coming for him, but with her always looking in Tsuki’s direction, it was very clear that she wasn’t.
It was always Tsuki.
He was only partially jealous. The rest of him felt overjoyed for his friend, gaining attention from girls was a big ego boost.
And gaining attention from you was like winning the lottery. In his eyes, you were the prettiest girl in the school. The prettiest girl he had ever laid his eyes on.
Feeling his heart start to ache, Yamaguchi quickly shook himself back into reality, deciding to focus on the practice match instead of you.
You happily sat by your friend, leaning your head against her shoulder as you slowly ate your sandwich.
You loved watching the volleyball team. They were all so excited to be here and in the zone. It was their passion for the sport that intrigued you the most.
However, the main reason you would spend your lunch times watching sweaty boys play volleyball was the awkward freckled boy that would steal glances your way from time to time, turning red a cherry when you made eye contact.
He was so awkwardly cute, and he got flustered so easily, it made you want to get to know him more.
“Hey.. Yachi..” you spoke up, catching the blondes attention, humming in acknowledgment.
“What.. what is that boy’s name?” You gestured with your head, trying to stop yourself from turning as red as a flipping tomato.
Giggling, she happily answered your question, “that’s Tsukishima. Do you like him?” She asked, her voice lowered so only you could hear her, thankfully.
You slowly nodded your head, feeling giddy just talking about him.
Once the match had ended, you urged Yachi to help you speak to him. Although he seemed like a sweet boy, you didn’t want him to feel ambushed by you just walking up to him and striking a conversation.
It sounds weird, but that’s just what you thought would happen.
Taking you by the hand, Yachi marched towards the boy. You could practically feel your heart beating against your ribcage.
He was standing next to his friend. Or a boy you assumed to be his friend. He was always with him, so you expected them to be close.
“Tsukishima! Could you come here for a second?” Yachi called over, stopping a bit away from the two.
You would’ve been happy for her help, but when the tall blonde with glasses made his way over to the two of you, you felt like you had somehow gotten misunderstood.
Boy, this was going to be awkward.
“Oh.. Yachi-“
“Okay! You can start talking to him now!” She whisper yelled to you, trying to contain her excitement.
You let out a nervous laugh, staring up at the tall boy.
He didn’t look too amused, to say the least.
“Look, if this is what I think it is, let me just say this now,” he started, and you could tell you were about to experience your first ever rejection from someone you weren’t even interested in.
“I’m not interested.”
“Well, that’s good, because I’m not either.” You huffed, definitely not taking a liking to his sour tone. Just who did he think he was?
Rolling your eyes, you looked past him, smiling softly at the boy standing lonely.
“I actually wanted to talk to your friend over there.. I think he’s kinda cute.” You giggled, noticing him fiddling with his fingers once you made eye contact.
Tsukishima’s mouth hung open, and instead of replying to you, he stomped his way over to your friend, probably to tell her off for putting him in an embarrassing situation.
You, in turn, made your way to the freckled boy, holding out your hand for a handshake when you were close enough.
“Hi! My name’s (Y/n)!” You introduced yourself with a cheery attitude.
He slowly shook your hand, his tongue getting caught in his throat as he stared at you in disbelief.
“Now would be where you’d tell me your name.” You laughed, bouncing on the balls of your feet.
“Oh! Uh.. I’m Yamaguchi.. but wh..-“
“I don’t like your friend, if that’s what you’re thinking.” You said, blowing a raspberry in Tsukishima’s direction.
“So you wanted to talk with.. me?” He asked, his face growing in colour as his attitude quickly turned from a sorrowful one to a delightfully surprised.
You quickly nodded your head, your heart skipping a beat as you noticed him getting happier.
You hoped the more you got to know each other, the happier you could make him.

Hello!! I saw your event and wanted to make a request. Asahi Azumane for I should have kissed you.
Thank you so much if you write it <3
Now playing... I should have kissed you
word count; 938 – f!reader, for my 1D x Haikyu event
Tumblr media
While in university, you didn’t often think of your time in high school. You had made new friends and joined new clubs, yet those memories from the volleyball club especially came back to you every so often. You’d think of girls’ nights with Kiyoko and Yachi, scoldings from Daichi after setting up a prank with Suga, pep talks with Asahi…
Oh, Asahi…
Distance makes the heart grow fonder, and your busy life has in no way diminished your crush on that guy. Fair enough, you didn’t think of him as often as before, but when you did, it came with those same butterflies you had grown so accustomed to. Most of all, you thought about that last night before graduation…
As you finished your schoolwork for the day, you slumped your shoulders and rubbed your eyes tiredly. Not even the many cups of coffee you drank during the past few hours could keep you going. Studying at cafés could be such a double-edged sword.
“Y/n?”
You didn’t remove your hands from your face at first, but they stopped rubbing and simply covered you from seeing the face that belonged to the voice you knew so well. The one you had spent all day thinking about.
“Asahi,” you answered softly, finally removing your hands, only to start running one through your hair and wondering if you looked as tired as you felt. “It’s been so long.”
The sweet man walked over, and you let yourself have a moment to look him over. To no one’s surprise, he looked good. Healthy and a bit more sure of himself, you thought. “It has. I was just thinking about you.”
Your eyes widened and Asahi immediately started stuttering, trying to explain that he didn’t mean it in a weird way, when you chuckled softly and got up from your seat. “I was just thinking of you, too.” The confession made his unsureness melt, but the blush on his cheeks stayed put. You glanced at all the empty coffee cups on the little table and back to him. “I’ve had way too many cups today, think you could find the time for a little walk?”
He did find the time. Gladly, in fact. That last night before graduation had haunted him for so long, making him curse himself every time he thought about it and how he should have kissed you.
It was the perfect moment, as you and him found some privacy from the rest of the third years at the party and finally got to tell each other that every moment you spent together for the last three years had been some of the most precious. You had both been a bit tipsy, but only to the point where it gave you that little extra courage. And yet, he hadn’t done it. He didn’t ask you out and he didn’t get to kiss you.
Then everything suddenly went so fast, in the blink of an eye you were off on different paths as he went into practice for clothing design and sowing, while you went off to university to pursue the job of your dreams. You had barely had the time to talk at all and now-
Now you’re right here. Same gorgeous smile framed by the most kissable lips, laughing at your own joke while trying to catch your breath to keep telling him about your last adventure. It felt like destiny was giving him a second chance.
By the time the sun kissed the treetops, you had found a little bench in the park, sitting close to each other as a slight chill fell over you in the shadow of the trees. “Are you seeing anyone?” he asked you, hands tucked in the pockets of his stylish jacket.
You looked to the side at him with a small smile. “No, I’m not. Are you?” you asked back, watching as he finally met your eyes for the first time since you sat down. There was the bit more sure of himself you had noticed earlier.
“The internship has been crazy. So rewarding but a lot of work,” he started, sighing and removing his hands from his pockets to rest on his thighs and, just like he used to in high school, calming himself by drawing patterns on his palm. You nodded to show you were listening, but your eyes followed his drawings. “I’ve liked this one girl ever since high school, but I was too much of a wimp to do anything about it.”
Your heart was beating in your ears when he once again moved his hand, slowly intertwining it with yours as if you would run away at the gesture. But you stayed, trying to contain the hope flooding your veins. “Me too. A guy, I mean. A friend of mine.”
Asahi drew in a huge breath, letting it out with a short chuckle. He didn’t want to assume it was him, but it would be so nice if it was. “Do you have dinner plans?”
“I do now.”
After he followed you home that evening, the air reminded him of that night. The night when he let you walk away, and he was not about to repeat that mistake. He faced you as you stood in front of the door to your dorm, rested a hand on your upper arm and slowly moved it upwards until he caressed your jaw. You leaned a bit closer, eyes moving between his lips and his eyes until he finally pressed his to yours. Rumours have it you both entered your dorm that night.
Better late than never, some say.

y/n kept her eye on the volley ball - she and her friends were on the beach, as usual, the Australian sun setting over them, the temperature perfect in the sense of they could play without sweating but it was still warm.
"Spike!" Jake called and y/n jumped, pushing the ball with a harsh slap, the ball landing at Sally's feet who groans.
"I couldn't get my hand out in time ya cu-" Sally begins, but Jamie shoves her, the boy chuckling.
"Rotate." y/n adds, skipping from the court to umpire so her friend Melanie could have a go, they were an odd number today, with Sally, Jake, Mikey, Jamie and y/n.
y/n was watching the game when she saw her, a girl walking in shorts, her shoes in her hand watching them play, watching y/n shout out suggestions as they did.
The two met eyes, both blushing slightly as they did so. y/n chocked on her own spit, turning to bend and grab her water to take a long swig.
The girl was beautiful, she was stunning, and she was walking toward y/n. The panic that flooded through y/n's body was instant when she noticed the girl coming over.
"Hi." The girl smiled.
"Gd'evening." y/n hummed, watching as Mikey tried to spike but Sally manages to block it.
"Looks like fun." the girl says, tucking a strand of dark hair behind her ear.
"Oh, it is, but we're an uneven amount today - so I'm sat out for now." y/n explains.
"Well, if you guys can teach me, I can play?" The girl offers and y/n grins, she offers her hand to the beautiful girl.
"y/n." She introduces and the girl smiles.
"Mary." The girl smiles, shaking y/n's hand.
"Right listen up dick-heads." y/n calls, stopping the game but Jamie does roll his eyes at her. "If we can teach Mary how to play, she'll join in." y/n explains, Mary smiling sheepishly.
"Awesome." Jamie nods.
"Yeah great!" Mikey grins kindly.
"Sounds good." Sally adds.
"Let's do this!" Jake finishes and the group start.
They first dissect the game, Mary smiling as they explain what happens and the different type of hits. Then once they had done that, they taught her the positions of the court.
Mary was funny, she had a really pretty smile and y/n couldn't help but have to shut her eyes every few minutes to try and fight the thoughts about Mary's body.
Sally kept looking over at y/n, smirking with a knowing look in her eyes as she tried to focus on Mary and helping her play. Once Mary had warmed up a bit, y/n was teaching her how to serve.
"You want to keep your hands strong, pushing from the shoulder not the wrist." y/n explains.
"Okay." Mary nods. "Like this?" She then asks and y/n hums, moving behind her to guide her hands.
"Like this." y/n continues, not noticing the way her lips brushed Mary's ear, or the way the girl had stopped completely, trying not to sink into the warmth of y/n's chest.
"Okay." Mary breathed, Sally and Jake both sent each other a look, rolling their eyes as y/n stepped away, Mary looking back slightly with red cheeks.
Mary pushed the ball in the air, keeping her hand hard and pushing through it with her shoulder, the serve going over the net easily which caused the group to cheer.
"You got it." y/n grins and Mary smiles.
"Team time!" Sally yells. She then looks around. "Oh it is so girls vs boys." Sally then says and Jake laughs jokingly.
"Oh this will be so easy. You hit like a girl." He teases his girlfriend.
"And you whine like a boy." Sally teases him back making Jake pause and look at her confused.
"I'm not whining." Jake begins, but y/n lightly throws the ball at his face, it bouncing off his forehead and top of his nose and back into y/n's arms, causing Jake to whine and rub his head.
Jamie sighs at him and Jake pauses, realising he had fallen for Sally and y/n's trap, they high five without looking toward each other and Mary giggles behind them.
"Okay, let's play!" Mikey says, jumping up and down excitedly.
Over the next hour it was obvious the teams were very well matched, they were neck and neck in terms of victorious games and as they played the decider, they were once again a point in difference.
Mary was good, she was quick and seemed to have very good stamina, she was athletic and strong, y/n could see that in the way her muscles tensed when she jumped for a ball or hit one.
Ten minutes before their final game, Mary had taken her top off so she was wearing her swimsuit, and while y/n and her friends were already like that, y/n's mouth dropped.
Sally snorted as y/n looked away from Mary's toned arms and exposed back, she tried to ignore the giggles coming from Sally as y/n internally panicked.
Now, they were on the last game and y/n just knocked the ball over the net, Jamie running forward to hit it up and trying to get it over, y/n tipped it over again, Jake running forward to get it.
Then as it came back over, Mary spiked it into the back of the court, the ball bouncing as Mikey squealed in the hope it would help him get it.
y/n and Sally cheer, y/n moving over to pull Mary into a hug, ignoring the way Mary's hands feel on the bottom of her exposed back. Sally joins in on the hug, the three girls cheering.
"Yeah, yeah, we get it you won." Jake says and y/n laughs flipping him off as she grabs her bag.
"Whose up for drinks?" She asks and everyone's hands go up other than Mary. "You coming?" y/n asks, offering her hand.
"That okay?" Mary asks and the loud sound of 'yes; and 'of course' comes from the group.
"Come on, first round on me." y/n adds with a smile and Mary grins.
"Okay." She chuckles and takes y/n's hand, blushing as y/n squeezes it slightly, but Mary keeps their fingers looped as they walk away.

The evening had now faded into very early morning, Mary and y/n were the only ones left, walking along the beach, talking about everything.
Mary explained to the group what she did and they were all mightily impressed. Sally and Jake went on to explain they were in university with y/n which was how they met and that Mikey ran a parkour park with his family.
"I just like being with kids, and I love beach sports." y/n shrugs, Mary smiling softly as y/n got bashful about what she wanted to do.
y/n had always loved the beach, she assumed it was because she was Australian through and through, but really she just loved the beach.
So, y/n had been at university for business studies and sports science, hoping to run a beach sports club for children once she got out, teaching surfing, volleyball, body boarding, the works.
"I think it sounds like a great idea." Mary promises. "You could even teach soccer." She adds, nudging y/n's shoulder and making her laugh.
"I don't know about that, I'm no Matilda." She teases Mary who rolls her eyes. "I hope you have enjoyed today, I'm sure being on Christmas break means you're meant to relax, so I hope we helped." y/n tells Mary who smiles.
Mary had come home during the break in the WSL, wanting to be with her family for Christmas and New Years, but she would soon be heading back off to the UK.
"You did. I really enjoyed today." Mary smiles.
"Good." y/n nods. Mary looks over at her, the two now back in their tops and watching the sea as the clock neared 2 am.
"You're really pretty." Mary said quietly, a soft smile on her face as she admired y/n's side profile, the girl turning to face Mary.
"So are you." y/n smiled shyly.
"Could we maybe spend some more time together?" Mary asks. "Just us, before I go?" She then asks and y/n smiles holding out her hand for Mary to take, which she does.
"I'd really like that." y/n nods and Mary grins, blushing slightly as she moves to put her head on y/n's shoulder.
"I'd really like it too." Mary says and y/n smiles out at the ocean.
"I'm really glad you decided to walk down the beach today Fowler." y/n chuckled and Mary giggled.
"So am I." Mary agreed.
The two sat there for a bit longer, sharing whispers and giggles before they got up and started to walk back to Mary's, hands linked as they moved through the quiet streets around them.
Once they got to Mary's door, the two stood talking softly for a moment, longer, eyes drinking each other in as much as they could, despite having already exchanged numbers and arranged to meet tomorrow.
"Good night Mary." y/n smiled softly and Mary pecked her cheek. "You missed." y/n hummed and Mary giggled, leaning up to peck y/n on the lips.
y/n moved her hand, cupping the back of Mary's neck to keep their lips together for just a moment longer, y/n had been thinking of doing this the second she had joined the volleyball game.
The two pulled away and y/n couldn't help but grin as Mary blushed, y/n let her hand leave the back of Mary's neck to run over her pink cheek.
"I'll see you tomorrow, pretty girl." y/n promises Mary and the girl nods before y/n winks and walks away, looking back just once to see Mary jumping up and down in front of her door.
y/n smiled, looking away and walking home, suddenly deciding she was very glad for volleyball.

Over the Net
𖤐Pairing: Single Father! König x Volleyball Coach! Reader
𖤐Pronouns: She/Her
𖤐Warnings: fluff, language, volleyball terminology, flirting, high school, badly translated German, a bit of an age gap, drinking,
𖤐Summary: König needed to pick up his daughter from Volleyball practice and he ends up meeting her coach for the first time
————
Tumblr media
————
König sits in the parking lot waiting for his daughter to get done with Volleyball. Normally he would allow her to get a ride with one of her friends but after practice she had a physical therapy appointment.
She rolled her ankle, twisted her knee and ended up breaking her thumb all within a span of 4 weeks into the new season of Volleyball.
König was worried about Heidi. He told her to sit out for this season but nothing was going to stop her from playing and not only that her coach asked for her to be on the team.
He gets out of his car knowing they were going to be done soon. He stood in front of his car waiting, tapping his foot and then tapping his fingertips on his forearm.
“Come on, what’s going on?” König mumbled to himself. He was just being impatient because he’s never missed an appointment and he’s definitely not going to miss one now.
"Hey, you waiting as well?" Another father came up to König.
"Yeah, what's going on? Don't they usually finish as 5?"
"Yeah...I'm not sure either."
"THEY JUST SENT OUT THAT PRACTICE MAY BE A LITTLE BIT LONGER THAN EXPECTED!! MAYBE TILL 7?!" A mother yells from her car waving her phone.
"Oh okay, I'm going back home then," the father says getting back into his car. Not König.
"What," he groans. He needs to get Heidi so they could get her physical therapy done. He walks to the gym, seeing the one right door open and he could hear the sound of shoes squeaking on the gym floor.
He peaks his head into the building, he sees the girls running up and down the court, sweating, panting and tagging the next person to run up and down the court.
König could see Heidi, he could tell she was pushing herself to her limit, she sat on the gym floor, panting, wiping sweat from her forehead and taking a swig of her Gatorade.
"Heidi, is that your dad?" One girl bent down to Heidi's level pointing to the tall buff man walking in.
"What the hell is he doing here?" She mumbles before getting off the floor. "Dad-"
"Why's practice all of a sudden becoming longer? We have an appointment to get to, you know this."
"I can't control that, dad, it's up to my coach."
"Well where is he, I wanna talk to him," he says, looking around for an adult. He hears the whistle blow and all the girls stopped.
"TAKE A BREAK!!" A woman's voice called to her athletes. "Heidi, who's this?" She comes up to Heidi and her father.
"Coach Y/n, this is my father."
"Why don't you go get water, Heidi...can I help you?" She looks up at König.
"Well...I'm here to collect my daughter, she has an appointment for physical therapy-"
"I'm aware," she says, tapping her clipboard with her pen.
"You're aware of?"
"Her appointment, she told me..."
"And you made practice longer?" König was confused.
"I made practice longer for the girls who needed the help the most, Heidi says she would like to practice longer..."
"But...can I take her for today, and next practice she could stay the long time?"
"Sure, but she'll miss a new play we'll be going over."
"Why didn't you teach it during the first hour of practice?"
"Because Mr. King, the first hour we do review, second hour we do some scrimmaging, and third hour we go over new plays, this new longer hour, we are going to start doing some exercises and practice hits in between and then we start doing the new play for the court, now...can I do my job or are you going to tell my boss that I'm trying to make a better team?"
König was kind of shocked by Coach Y/n's sudden outburst. She seemed kind of frustrated as well, like ever since she made this longer practice, parents have been getting on her tail about it. EVEN SOME OF THE PARENTS ASKED FOR LONGER PRACTICE HOURS AND THEY STILL GET ON HER ASS ABOUT IT!
"I understand...completely I do...Heidi, come on, we need to get going, we can't be late..." König says as Heidi groans and Y/n just discreetly rolled her eyes.
----------
König sits in the waiting room of the Physical Therapist. He was mainly thinking about how that small woman has such a big temper. He's never really met anyone like that.
He leans back his head hitting against the wall behind him, his hand playing with the fluff of his daughters coat. Heidi soon comes walking out of the therapy room huffing and puffing taking her coat off König's lap.
"You ready?"
"Yep," she says, putting her coat on and König pats Heidi's head.
"What's up with that Coach of yours?"
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"She's got a temper on her."
"Only when she's frustrated," Heidi tells him. "And when we have games."
"I see," König says.
-----------
The Next Practice
Coach Y/n sits on the outside bleachers as the gym they usually use was being used by the male basketball team. So, they were booted to the outdoor court, where the girls had to wear their knee pads, just in case.
Y/n hates this court because half of the time most of the girls will scrap their knees and Y/n has asked the school so many times for a little sand pad for the girls, if they will have to practice outside then why can't they be more comfortable in sand and brace their falls versus the concrete.
"Careful!" Y/n yells as some of the girls landed on the concrete almost half her team had sat out because of their knees and or feet hurting.
Heidi groans as her hands were on her knees, she sat on because of her bad knee hurting her, so she barely practiced. Y/n then blew her whistle getting the girls to stop.
"We'll call it for today...I know you girls are hurting, I'm sorry about today," Y/n apologizes to the girls.
Heidi chugs some of her water and then waited for König. She texted him that practice ended early. She sits on the curb, she looks at the blacktop kicking some of the small rocks or throwing them.
Soon someone sat next to her, she looks at the person and it was Y/n. She gives Heidi a small smile and handed her a new water bottle, Y/n knows Heidi's water bottle was empty, she's just bored.
"Dad's late?" Y/n asked.
"Just a bit...he's getting off work now..." she says, twisting the cap of her water bottle taking a few swigs from it.
"I see..." Y/n says. "How's your knees?"
"Fine, my right one hurts," the one she twisted late season.
"I bet, I'll have to tell the principal that male basketball and girls volleyball need to figure out their practice times...this is the 2nd time they've done that...they have an outdoor court, I don't know why they can't use that one instead?"
"It's because the principal only cares about the male sports and what they need, even though this school is only popular for their female sport programs...didn't the girls basketball make it to finals and the male basketball team like lost almost every game they've played?" Heidi says.
"Agreed..." Y/n and Heidi could agree on so many things wrong with this school giving so much money to male sport programs but giving the girls a lower budget. It was stupid.
The girls had to come up with fundraisers to be able to get a new net, the old one had big holes from the net being old and being dry-rotted.
Heidi then saw her fathers car pull into the schools parking lot. Heidi grabbed her things and headed to her dads car, he steps out after she gets into the passenger side.
"Sorry, about that," he apologized to Y/n.
"It's okay...Mr. King, before you leave..." he turns back to her.
"Yeah?"
"I'm sorry, for being rude to you the other practice, I know you had an appointment to get your daughter to that day, I was going to release her to you, but I wanted her to get done with some exercises before I released her."
"I understand, I get it, really, coach-"
"Please, call me, Y/n..."
"Okay, see ya' later, Y/n." he gets into his car driving off.
-------------
A Week Later
Heidi's first game of the season, she was ready to hit the ball back over the net, it was coming right at her too. König watches his daughter and Y/n is making sure Heidi had enough time to get the ball back over the net before the timer runs out.
Soon Heidi hits it back over the net and another came running up from her side and spiking it, hitting the floor on the opponents side. Heidi's team wins and Y/n was excited that they won the first game.
The girls all ran off the court to hug Y/n and line up to shake hands with the other team. Heidi runs to her chair grabbing her water bottle. She heads to the locker room and some of the parents went to Y/n to thank her.
König stood in the back of the group of parents as Y/n talked to every parent. Once the parents left König walked to Y/n, hands in his hoodie pocket and he cleared his throat.
"You did good."
"I didn't do anything."
"You helped our girls...you did good," he tells her before leaving to go get Heidi.
"Mr. King."
"Yes?"
"This may be...highly inappropriate and I thought about getting it off my chest, and you are allow to deny me...would you like to get some drinks, one day?"
"Coach Y/n...are you asking me on a date?"
"Forget it."
"No, no, I'm joking, I'm joking...yeah...I'll get some drinks with you."
-------------
A Few Nights Later
König sits at the bar tapping his fingers on the bar counter and waiting for Y/n, she wasn't late or anything König was just early. 10 minutes early.
Probably to get a good spot for the both of them, this bar usually filled up quickly. Soon Y/n comes in and sits next to König. He turns and smiles at her.
"You look..."
"Dumb? I didn't know what to go with-"
"Wunderschön (Gorgeous)," he says.
"Danke (Thank you)." She says back.
König and Y/n just talked and drink the whole night. König then brought Y/n to his car. She came by UBER not knowing how much she would drink. She wasn't drunk nor tipsy, but König didn't want her in a car with a stranger after drinking.
He took her home. König held Y/n to his side as they entered König's domain, they laughed as they removed their shoes at the front door and once they walked in Heidi peaks over the couch.
"Dad!? Coach Y/n?!" Both adults stopped in their tracks looking at the Junior.
"Hey, kiddo, I thought you might have been asleep."
"What would you two have done if I was?" She asked.
König and Y/n looked at each other before laughing like to teenagers, Heidi rolled her eyes and scoffed before getting grossed out and leaving.
"You know what, I don't want to know..." she says as she goes up the stairs.
"So...since she's upstairs...do you wanna?" König raised his eyebrows at Y/n before she lightly pushed him away.
"You're so weird," she teased.
"I'm not weird, I'm fun, come on," König takes her hand and going to his bedroom, shutting the door behind them.

What would Basketball!Ony think of Aran?
i truly believe he’d think he was a cool guy nglll. i like to believe that basketball player!ony is one of those guys that have friends on all his schools sports teams so even when his season isnt here he’ll still be at some type of game.
he’d most likely first see him at a volleyball game against his school and be very drawn to how good he was. his school team is good, but they just couldn’t keep up with aran’s team so they’d end up losing but it’d be a close match so aran would be working real hard and ony would be like “i like that nigga”
neither of them are really outgoing people, but when ony went to another one of his schools matches he’d probably see aran there scouting for the next time he has to play them and they’d tall a little. idk why but i feel like writing it so i am…
“it’s coo if i sit here?” ony would say as he looked around at the jam packed bleachers. his familiar voice grabbed the attention of the brownskin male as he looked up to see one the top players in the nation talking to him. “yea man you good” as ony sat down he’d hold his hand out for aran to dap him up, both of their rough hands joining together as he introduced himself. “ony” aran nodded his head, turning his gaze back towards the match as he replied. “aran”
they sat in silence for a bit until a couple of girls began to walk towards where they were sitting. “aww shit. ian never safe” aran mumbled before putting on a fake smile. ony chuckled at the action, patting the man’s back since he also knew the feeling. the girls were giggling up and storm until they finally got to them. “you’re aran right?” the first girl asked, the gum in her mouth popping repeatedly as she waited for him to reply. aran internally rolled his eyes at her behavior, but he’d never be rude to a fan. “that’s me”
the girls turned towards each other, giggling as one of them not so subtly pointed to ony. as their small chatter came to an end the girl spoke again. “can i get a picture? my little brother watches all your games” aran gave her a small nod before getting up from his seat and posing for the camera with her. ony just continued watching the game, not really paying much attention to what was going on since he felt it was none of his business, but that quickly changed when the girl began tapping him on the shoulder.
“he watches your games too” now it was time for ony to get up, making aran internally chuckle as the tall mad got up slowly as if his legs were sore. the girl stood between the two tall men, their bodies practically towering over her as they posed for the pictures. “thank youuu!!!” she yelled before walking away, giggling with her friend.
“she ain’t got no damn brother” aran mumbled and ony replied instantly. “definitely don’t” the two men chuckled at their similar minds, dapping each other up. they were feeling more comfortable around each other so ony decided it was okay to start a little conversation. “man ian even gon front you tuff as hell” a calm smirk planted on aran’s lips as he shrugged his shoulders. “aye man m’tryna get like you. number one in the state and two in the nation?” he whistled in amusement. “nigga i was lowkey surprised you introduced yourself”
ony chuckled at his words, waving aran off as he humbly spoke. “i was surprised to see you sitting over here by yourself man. after you cooked my school i had t’do my research. number one in the state and four in the nation real tuff nigga” the two of them ended up talking through the rest of the game, and even after the game they talked in the parking lot. a reporter for overtime ended up spotting them and taking a couple pictures. they didn’t think anything of it, but two superstars being spotted together like this was very rare, especially since they play different sports.
“man my girl gon try to chop my head off when i get home. been out three hours past the time i was possed to be there fuckin witcho ass” aran said, loud chuckles could be heard from the both of them. “your girl? nigga my girl probably packing my shit right now. i already know i’m sleep on the couch” they continued to laugh and talk a little more, exchanging numbers and making plans to meet again one day. “man don’t be a stranger you always welcome to come chill real shit” ony said as he texted the number aran gave so he’d know it’s him.
aran did the same before putting ony’s name in his contacts. “i gotchu bro ima definitely pull up one day. ian no bum now, i’m a lil slick wit the handles” a smirk grew on ony’s face as he waved him off. “man please. if you seen how i get down on the beach you would’ve thought volleyball was my first sport. nobody spiking that shit better than me on god.” they laughed, dapping each other up before getting in their cars and calling it a night.
“aight safety gang”
“aight bro ima see you”

The Munson Twins – Steve Harrington
Tumblr media
Steve's POV
The Munsons were always a strange pair of twins. For one thing, they were polar opposites of each other. Eddie was into weird role-playing games. Y/N was into volleyball. Eddie is in danger of repeating his senior year. Y/N graduated early. Eddie is into rock and roll. Y/N plays the classical violin and the piano. Eddie loves black leather jackets. Y/N likes flowery sun dresses. Eddie is kind of a loner. Y/N is more popular than me.
Since Y/N graduated early, we spent our senior year in some of the same classes. That being said, we barely spoke to each other. The most we ever talked was congratulating each other after one of us won a game. All through high school, Y/N and I ran in the same social circles because of our sports so we often went to the same parties. Just because we went to the same parties doesn't mean we were friends.
Not to say I didn't wish we were friends. I've gone to most of Y/N's games and she's gone to most of mine. Whenever I looked in the stands and saw her, I became more self-conscious of my playing. I even went to her orchestra concerts. I usually sat in the back and left before anyone noticed I was there.
Throughout high school, I couldn't get Y/N Munson out of my head. It seemed like everywhere I looked, she was there. Even when I was dating Nancy, my mind often wondered to Y/N when I was alone.
When Vecna started killing teens and Eddie was blamed, my thoughts focused even more on Y/N. I wanted to talk to her about all of this, to make sure she knew her brother wasn't what the town thought, but I also didn't want her involved in any of this shit.
I had to force Y/N to the back of my mind as we tried to help Eddie. When we got stuck in the UpsideDown, I allowed my mind to go back to her, hoping she was safe back in Hawkins. We were walking to Nancy's house and I kept glancing at Eddie. If he knew that my thoughts were constantly on his twin sister, he'd kill me.
"Eddie," I said, clearing my throat as I caught up to him. "Hey, man. Um, listen I just umm. . . I just want to say thanks. For saving my ass back there."
"Shit," he laughed. "You saved your own ass, man. I mean that was a real Ozzy move back there."
"Ozzy?"
"When you took a bite out of that bat," he tried to clarify. "Ozzy Osbourne. Black Sabbath. He bit a bat's head off on stage. You really don't know who that is?"
"No," I chuckled. "Sorry."
"Well, anyway, it was very metal, what you did, is all I'm saying."
"Thanks," I sighed.
"Henderson told me you were a badass," he continued. "Insisted on the matter, in fact."
"Wait, Henderson said that?"
"Oh yeah. Shit. That kid worships you, dude. Like, you have no idea. It's kind of annoying, to be honest. I don't even know why I care what that little shrimp thinks, but I guess I got a little jealous." Eddie sighed before continuing, "I guess I couldn't handle the fact that Steve Harrington was actually a good dude. Rich parents. Popular. Chicks love him. And not a douche? No way. It goes against all the laws of the universe and my own personal Munson Doctrine. Then again, that's worth shit because even my sister talks highly of you."
"Y/N talks highly of me?" I tried, and failed, not to stutter.
I looked over to see Eddie smirking at me. He leaned in a little too close and whispered, "Very highly of you."
"Okay," I said awkwardly as I used my elbow to push him away from me. I cleared my throat and rolled my shoulders back.
"All jokes aside," Eddie said, "my sister does think highly of you, dude. Whenever people would start to talk shit about you, she'd instantly stand up for you. I never understood it, but she's always talked about how people should give you a chance. She believes that there is more to you than meets the eye."
"She really thinks that?" I couldn't help but ask.
"Hell yeah," he laughed.
"I guess I always thought. . . I mean, everyone else saw me as a dick. I figured she did too."
"Nope," he teased. "She always sees the good in people. It's extremely annoying."
Eddie walked away, but my mind was going a hundred miles an hour. I thought over the few, very few, interactions I've ever had with Y/N. We walked a few more miles, the others talking amongst each other while I walked behind the group.
"Alright," Eddie sighed as he joined me. "Enough of this. You've been in your head since I mentioned Y/N. What's the. . ."
He didn't finish his thought. Instead, he turned toward me with a smirk on his face.
"Ohhhhh," he elongated. "I get it now."
He playfully pushed me before continuing to walk through the woods.
"Wait," I called out as I chased after him. "You get what?"
"Come on, Harrington," Eddie sighed. "Please tell me I don't have to be the one to point this out to you."
"Point what out?"
"You have a thing for my sister."
"What?" I scoffed. "I don't. . . Why would you. . . That's so. . . No."
"No?" Eddie teased. "You sure about that?"
"I mean. . . That would be. . . Crazy."
"No, it wouldn't," he said simply. He saw the look on my face and sighed. "Look, Harrington, as much as I may not understand it, Y/N's right. You're a good guy. You'd be an even better guy if you'd grow a pair and tell my sister how you felt about her."
"What if she doesn't feel the same?" I asked before I could realize how weird it was to have this conversation with Y/N's twin brother.
"She does."
My heart jumped into my throat at those two words. Eddie didn't say anything else. He didn't need to. He sent me a wink before jogging and catching up with the others.
"She does," I repeated under my breath. "Holy shit. She feels the same."
* * * * *
Three months later, Hawkins was barely rebuilding. After Eddie's death, there were two people I was worried about; Dustin and Y/N. Dustin was doing what he normally does - pretending to be okay so no one would worry about him. I checked in on him almost every day. He was getting better, especially since Max was improving.
Y/N, on the other hand, barely leaves her uncle's trailer. Every single one of us has tried to visit her, but her uncle keeps telling us she doesn't want any visitors. Y/N won't even talk to the kids.
"Hi, Steve," Eddie and Y/N's uncle sighed when he opened the door.
"Hi, Mr. Munson," I greeted. "Is Y/N here?"
He sighed as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Look," he sighed, "I really appreciate all you kids have been trying to do for Y/N, but I think it might be best if you give her some space."
"But. . ."
"I'm sorry, Steve," he continued. "I'll let her know you stopped by."
My heart sank as he closed the door. I couldn't get myself to move as I heard Y/N's uncle saying something to her. I couldn't quite hear what he was saying but I forced myself to leave. I turned around and slowly started walking back to my car. As I drove home, I racked my brain trying to figure out what I could do for Y/N.
Just when I had lost all hope, I noticed someone pulled over to the side of the road. As I got closer, I recognized the driver as Y/N. She was looking at her engine.
I didn't hesitate to pull over. I got out of my car and started walking toward her.
"Need a hand?" I called out. I instantly cringed when she jumped. "It's just me, Y/N."
"Sorry," she stuttered.
"It's okay," I tried to say lightly. "So, you need any help?"
"This stupid thing won't start," she grumbled. "And I have no idea why. Eddie usually. . ."
My heart sank when she stopped talking. One look at her and I could see the tears building.
"He usually handled the car," she forced herself to continue as she cleared her throat.
"I could take a look," I shrugged. She looked up at me, her eyes softening.
"Really?"
"Of course."
I walked over to the front of her car and examined the engine. The longer I stared at it, the more Y/N giggled. She was laughing at me, but I didn't care. At least she was laughing.
"You don't know anything about cars, do you, Steve?"
"That obvious?" I chuckled as I turned toward her.
"Little bit," she said, showing me how much with her fingers. She cleared her throat and wrapped her arms around herself.
"I could still help," I said quickly.
"How?" Y/N asked, her voice softening.
"I could give you a ride," I offered.
"Steve. . ."
"I don't mind," I said quickly. "I can take you home or wherever you were on your way to."
"You don't have to," she said quickly.
"I don't mind," I tried again.
"I can call my uncle."
"Come on, Y/N. Let me help you."
She looked up at me and held my gaze. "Are you sure?" She asked, her voice soft.
"Of course," I shrugged. I held my hand out, not entirely expecting her to take it. When she did, my heart jumped into my throat. Ignoring the circus in my stomach, I led her over to my car. She smiled as I opened the door and held it for her.
"Thanks," she said as she got in. I took a shaky breath as I walked around and got in the driver's seat. I started driving to the trailer park, my nerves jumping all over the place.
"So," I cleared my throat, "how have you been doing?"
"Fine," she shrugged, looking out the window.
"Are you. . ."
"Please don't, Steve," she cut me off. She looked over at me and I could see the tears building.
I nodded before turning my attention back to the road. We went through the rest of the drive in silence. I wanted to talk to her but I wasn't sure how to start a conversation with her. Before I would've liked, we pulled in front of her uncle's trailer.
"Thanks for driving me, Steve," she said softly.
"Y/N, wait," I said as I grabbed her hand before she could get out of my car. When she looked at me, I forgot what I was going to say.
"Steve," she said softly when I didn't continue.
"I just wanted to say," I said slowly, "if you ever need anything, the group and I are here for you."
"Thanks," she said, clearing her throat. She started to get out but realized that I was still holding her hand.
"There's something else," I forced myself to say. I looked into her eyes and gathered all the courage I could before saying, "I'm sorry about Eddie."
She turned away from me but right before she did, I could see the tears building. With the hand I wasn't holding, she covered her mouth. My heart sank when I realized she was hiding her tears.
"Y/N," I whispered. I pulled on her hand and she let me bring her into my chest. As I wrapped my arms around her, she sobbed into my chest.
"I wish we could've done something," I whispered. I pulled out of our embrace and held her shoulders as I looked deeply into her eyes. "I wasn't able to keep your brother safe, but that doesn't mean I can't keep you safe."
"Steve," she said under her breath.
"I promise, Y/N, I will always be here for you," I said. "If you ever need anything, and I mean anything, all you have to do is call me. Day or night."
"Day or night?" She teased. "That's a little creepy, Steve."
"I didn't mean it like that," I stuttered. "I just meant that if you needed me, I'd. . ."
Y/N cut me off by leaning over and pressing her lips to mine. I didn't hesitate to deepen the kiss. I gently grabbed her face as our lips moved against each other. When we were both out of breath, we broke the kiss and leaned our foreheads against each other.
"You know," she whispered, "there is something you could do for me."
"Anything," I said instantly.
"I'm starving," she started. I smiled when she didn't continue.
"Y/N," I said softly. "Can I take you to dinner?"
I smirked as I leaned in and kissed her again. I felt her smile as our lips moved in sync. I broke the kiss and pressed my nose to hers.
"If it's not too much trouble," she whispered.
"Not at all."

>They Love Baseball.

>quick note, I could've done so much better with this if I started from scratch but this was from my fic I'm writing on Wattpad. I took out a lot because there's so much context needed for it to be understandable, so this is like a simplified one-shot.
>Reader and her friends playing Baseball at school with the Cullens.
>Post breaking dawn (aka vamp Bella)
>Also Jasper has better control over his thirst now.
>Reader is a new(ish) student and doesn't know of the Cullen's...situation🧛🏻"

°Reader's Pov°
I walked up to the classroom door only to see everyone was already in there..and the anxiety set in. Fuck. I walked past the door hoping to merlin that sir didn't see me while I built up the courage to go in. I stood against the wall of my classroom as I heard the rejester, my name being called and there being no response, only increasing my feeling. This is why I always try and make an effort to get to school early..so I'm not the last in with everyone staring at me. Don't get me wrong, I am so not keen on the cramped halls and all the loud voices but it beats me awkwardly strolling into class late, having to give an excuse to the teacher and bypass all my classmates to my seat.
I removed my hands away from my face as a comfortable wave of calmness infiltrated my emotions. The anxiety was washed away and the fear was replaced with subtle confidence. I took a deep breath and opened my eyes only to notice Jasper by my side leaving about an inch of space between us.
"Jasper?" I said, relieved to see him again. After we became somewhat friends, he and his siblings weren't in school for a good week.
"Are you okay?" he asked, somewhat concerned. By now, he had placed his hand on the small of my back. My breath hitched at the contact, but ultimately returned to normal as my eyes met his.
"Uhm..yeah, I'm okay now. Thanks." I said, pretending not to be unbelievably relieved to see him. "where have you been?" I asked, the curiosity taking over me.
"Sorry, me and my family went camping for the week. I should've said, but it was pretty last minute." he said, a little smile playing at the corner of his lips when he talked.
"It's..it's okay. Just missed you that's all" I said, oddly confident.
He smirked, and his eyes darkened slightly. "Missed you too. C'mon let's get inside." he said, taking my hand and bringing me through the threshold of the door.
"Oh, there you are" Sir simply said. I felt the calmness fading and the anxiety slowly creeping back. "Try not be so late would you?" he asked as I took my set next to Jasper "Yes..sorry sir, I had a flat tire" I lied, but he seemed to buy it as he finished marking me in and continued the lesson. My friend, Glenn, sat on the other side of me and he nudged me slightly. "Hey are you alright? I saw you walk past the classroom just then..is everything good?" he asked.
"No..yeah I'm fine I just got a little nervous is all, nothing to fret over" I said, smiling timidly.
Jasper cleared his throat. "everything alright?" he asked, tucking his chair in a little, a hint of worry still lacing his words. I smiled at him "Yeah, thank you for helping out" I said back, my voice barley above a whisper, but he heard me still.
"Anytime, Y/n/n" he said, his smile returning.
Glenn shuffled in his seat, seeming uncomfortable. "you good?" I asked as he gained my attention. He smiled sheepishly "never better, just a little bit cold is all" he said.
Jasper rolled his eyes and started to work again.

We all lined up outside the changing rooms, but first the teacher (Miss Leigh) did the register.
"OK guys, you'll be playing different sports, we'll have two teams for baseball, and 2 teams for volleyball, so after you're all changed, please get into groups of 6" Miss Leigh said, gripping her clipboard, ready to asses the students who needed to be. Glenn, Jess, Luke, Bradley, Isla and I, had all locked eyes as if we silently agreed that we were a team.
"Alright guys stop talking and get changed!" She ordered, shoving everybody inside their designated changing room.
Me, Glenn, Jess, Isla, Luke and Bradley were a team and we had to play against Jasper, and his family at a game of Baseball.
The Cullen's had brought all of the equipment over to the pitch, Jasper dropped the bag of bats at my feet, "you guys bat first" he said. I picked up a bat, and rested it on my shoulders. Not gonna lie, I felt like Harley Quinn.
"That's alright, i'm the one with the wicked curveball" I said, swinging the bat back around, immitating a hit.
"Oh well, I think we can handle that.." he smirked.
Glenn came up from behind me, again, and rested his arm around my shoulder. I very slowly and slyly shook his arm off, I didn't want to seem too rude, Glenn has only ever been kind to me so far.
"Is Hale bothering you Y/n?" He asked.
"No Glenn, Jasper isn't bothering me, we were just talking.." I said, smiling at him.
"Got a problem?" Jasper asked, raising his arms slightly.
"Don't start, can we just play baseball please?" I said, walking off. I got into position when Luke came over to me. "Y/n, just a warning...The Cullens...they love baseball" Luke said, randomly.
"Okay, and?" I asked, a smile tugging on my lips.
"They're very competitive" Luke said, seeming like he was putting it simply.
Right..
Bradley took a bat, and I swear I heard some laughing as if they thought this first round was going to be so easy. Alice did a really weird but really cool looking bowl, it was kinda attractive not gonna lie...
Anyways, Bradley struck the ball as hard as she could sending it flying across the field. About two of Jaspers teammates went after it, while Bradley sped around the pitch and made a home run.
She made her way through our team, with high fives, hugs and fist bumps, until Luke was the last person to congratulate her. She couldn't decide what to do, she went to hug him but then swiftly rose her hand to high five him, only to change her mind again to a fist bump. Luke slowly put her arm down "Well done, Brads.." he said through small giggles, subconsciously not letting go of her hand.
' OH YES! They don't call me Y/n, Little Miss Match Maker for nothing! Wait..no one calls me that..nevermind...still cute tho. '
Edward, who was nearby, threw his head back, laughing.
' I swear to God, if this man conviently laughs at another thing that I think, then i'm officially convinced he's inside my mind '
"Are we playing Baseball or what? Edward, stop laughing and focus!" Rosalie hissed.
At that point I understood what Luke had meant before.
"Alright babe, it's just a game!" Emmett said smirking.
Jess picked up the bat and waited for Alice to bowl her the ball. We all took our turns, some attempts were more successful than others..and in total we got a score of 4 home runs.
Time to switch.
We all started walking to the opposite sides of the pitch and into each other's previous positions. I went to hand over my bat to Jasper and just as he was about to take it, I dropped the bat his feet. "Your turn, cowboy.." I said, trying to hide my amused smile.
He kicked the bat up into his hands and caught it "That's alright, i'm the one with the wicked curveball" he said, mocking my accent.
I laughed a little before attempting his "Yeah well, I think we can handle that.."
He hid his laughter and headed to stand by the rest of his family.
Glenn and Isla briefly squabbled over being pitcher before Isla gave up and joined me in fielding. Glenn got ready to serve the ball to Emmett, nowhere near matching Alice's bowl, but still throwing it with a lot of force. Emmett held the bat with one hand and kept his eye one the ball. His family egging him on, as they were lined up behind him.
Out of nowhere, just as Glenn served, there was a crash, someone's car had rolled down the hill of the car park. Almost everyone's eyes had gravitated toward the truck, so no one was really paying attention, including me.
"Y/N LOOK OUT!" I heard Alice shout from across the pitch.
I snapped my head back around to see what she was talking about, until for a split second I saw the ball that Emmett had hit, fly straight toward my face. I braced myself, scrunching up my nose and bringing my hands up to shield my face. Only for a different hand to reach out infront of me, and catch the ball before it even touched me.
Jasper.
He threw the ball back over to Emmett, aggressively, purposefully hitting him in the chest. "Watch it." Jasper warned, Emmett held up his hands jokingly in surrender.
Jasper turned back to me. "Don't get distracted next time, alright" he said, winking before jogging back over to join Edward in their line up.
I didn't even get to say thank you.
"So am I out then?" Emmett questioned, throwing his arms up. The ref had walked off, either out of boredom or to sort out the car. Probably the latter.
Emmett threw the ball to Glenn, then sat down anyways with Rosalie.
Glenn then served to Bella. Bella swung the bat with one hand and hit the ball all the way into the forest, before speeding off around the pitch.
I ran after it. 'what sort of main character moment was that?' I thought, running to catch up with the ball.
I picked it up after it landed ahead of me and saw Bella approaching the home base.
"LUKE!" I yelled, to give him a heads up.
I built up all my strength and launched the ball forward. It was now Bella Vs the ball. Which one would make it to home base first? Bella looked up and saw the ball, and tried her best to run as fast as she could.
Luke caught the ball and placed it on home base, just as Bella had reached there.
"...You're out.." The game's ref noted, walking back out of nowhere with a pencil in her ear.
I walked back over to my team and celebrated with them.
'How's that for a main character moment? ' I thought, sarcastically. 'Guess she just wasn't fast enough.'
Edward quickly faced the other direction and shook his head, smiling.
Bella went and sat down next to Rosalie. Rosalie smirked as she saw her walking over to her and said something along the lines of "How did it feel being you this time?"
Jasper was up next. He span the bat around in his hands, hitting the end of it away from him, then catching it the right way up, swirling it in small circles behind his head. Something about that caught me so off guard...he did that and I was instantly trying to somehow stop the butterflies deep in my stomach as if they were gonna burst out at any moment. I snapped back to reality replaying his 'don't get distracted' in my mind. He hit the ball with force and sped off around the pitch I watched the ball fly towards me at full pace several feet above me in the air. I ran with it, trying to maybe catch it. It lowered and I jumped backwards, determined to catch it. And I did.
I held the ball up as he was about 5 feet away from home base. He turned and saw me walking back, baseball in hand and couldn't help but look to his feet and smirk. He walked to his team, and sat down with Rosalie, Emmett, And Bella not taking his eyes away from me.
I threw the ball to Glenn gently, and winked at Jasper. His signature smirk appeared and he looked down sheepishly.
"Didn't get distracted.." I said to myself, returning to my position. And he looked up, as if he heard me.
We played a few more rounds for the rest of the lesson, the Cullens ended up beating us, only by two though! And apparently that was the closest anyone's ever been so...it's a personal win.
While taking a sip of some of Bradley's water, Jasper walked over to me. "Good game, hotshot.." he said, looking me up and down.
"Well, I'm more than just a pretty face, cowboy" I said, taking a step forward.
"Are you sure about that?" He quizzed, tilting his head to examine my face.
"Oh I'm sure, I wiped the floor with your ass..well not the floor...the grass really" I said, reffering to my catch.
"Really? Last I checked..we did beat you guys?" He said, looking behind him at his family.
"Still, we came rather close..best competition you've had? " I questioned.
"and how would you know that? You're still new here sweetheart." he teased.
I titled my head and squinted my eyes slightly in response to his „sweetheart„
"What's with the nicknames, darling?" I teased him, calling him out.
"I- uh..what? You call me Cowboy all the time and plus, am I not allowed to call you nicknames now? You seemed to like it before..you're cheeks would go red and you'd hide your smile. Don't you trust me? Don't you appreciate me? you seemed to this morning.."
"Did i? Or did you give me no choice?" I countered. "And why all the questions?"
"Nah, you trusted me. I could tell." he said, walking back into the sports hall. He turned around, and began walking away. His uniform clinging to the muscles on his back. "You're welcome by the way" he spoke, referring to earlier, as he continued back up and inside the hall.

Younghoon liked his friends, he really did. It was just that at times he had to remind himself of the fact. Like now, when they were making yet another stupid bet among themselves, fueled as so often by the never ending quarrel between the beach volleyball players and the surfers. Younghoon wasn’t a surfer but neither did he play beach volleyball, except for the rare occasions when they were missing a man, so he usually got out of these antics fine without picking a side. Still, this time the guys were being too much. Younghoon had already turned to Sangyeon in hopes of ending this nonsense, but to his utter disappointment even Sangyeon was in on this, confidently nodding along that his team would win.
It wasn’t that Younghoon didn’t understand the temptation—who wouldn’t want an excuse to talk to you? You’d caught his attention too when he’d come to the beach a few days ago. It was starting to get hot, spring slowly turning into summer, and the owner of the little beach bar had decided it was time to kick off the season. Instead of him though, someone else was manning the bar. You had an arm propped up on the counter and mindlessly scrolled on your phone. Younghoon couldn’t blame you, the bar wasn’t usually busy until later so it wasn’t like you had anything better to do. Without paying it any mind, he jogged down the beach to the volleyball net where he knew to find the others, the girl from the bar quickly forgotten over a very imbalanced game. In fact he didn’t think of you again until he walked back to the bar to get some soda for everyone. There still weren’t any customers around, but instead of doom scrolling you’d taken out some lip gloss, using your phone’s camera as a mirror as you swiftly applied it to your lower lip. He felt he shouldn’t be watching this, but he also couldn’t look away. There was something so captivating about this scene. Just when you were smacking your lips together (twice) you seemed to have noticed his gaze. You looked up with surprise in your eyes before giving him an apologetic smile. “Sorry, didn’t see you there. What can I get you?” The gloss made your lips look shiny. Maybe he had already been a goner then.
So, it really wasn't that he didn't understand. But betting on who’d get your number first seemed a bit much and, frankly, kind of rude too. There was no stopping them though, but perhaps he could at least give you a little warning?
He got up from where everyone was sitting on the sand, just far enough from the shore to not get wet, and jogged back to the wooden path that led further up the beach and to the bar.
“Where are you going?” Eric yelled behind him. “Not getting a head start, are you?”
Younghoon huffed a laugh. “What makes you think I’d join a silly bet like that?”
Eric grinned. “Scared of even trying, huh?”
“Mhm, sure.”
With a shake of his head he walked the last few meters to the bar, where he sat down on one of the stools at the counter. Once more, it was empty despite being late at night, but he supposed not everyone had the freedom to come out here this late on a weekday.
“So,”  you turned to him with a mischievous grin, before he could even say anything. “What kind of bet were you talking about?”
He ran his hands through his hair. “You heard that?”
“Was hard not to.”
“I’m not sure you really want to know.”
“I don’t care either way. But you guys have been stealing glances at the bar this whole time—you better not do anything that will get me in trouble with the boss.”
“They wouldn’t,” Younghoon didn’t hesitate to reply. Sure, they were silly and stupid at times, but they wouldn’t put someone’s job on the line for funsies. “But they also weren’t exactly looking at the bar.”
“They weren’t, huh?” You grinned and Younghoon couldn’t help but notice the shimmer of your lip gloss.
“It’s your number,” he said, tearing his eyes away from your lips. “They want your number.”
You nodded slowly, looking more amused than offended. There was a challenging glint in your eyes. “So, you think getting my number is silly?”
The question caught him off guard so his reply came out a little too slow to be smooth. “No, that’s far from silly. Just betting on it is.”
“Hmm, how do I know you’re not secretly in on it though?”
“Why would I butcher my chances by telling you about the bet then?”
You leaned over the counter a bit, propping up your head with your closed hand. “Maybe this is your strategy to appear upright and honest?”
He stifled a laugh. “Well, I’m honest. I don’t know about the rest.”
 “Fair enough.”
Younghoon didn’t get your number that night, but neither did anyone else and that gave him a little satisfaction. He’d offered to try and talk them out of it again, but you’d declined. “No,” you’d said with a grin. “I wanna see them try. It sounds fun.”
He thought he possibly liked more about you than just your lip gloss.
Tumblr media
The guys went all out. Some attempts didn’t seem too bad while others gave him a strong sense of secondhand embarrassment. But you seemed to be having fun with it, so who was he to intervene? And maybe, just maybe, he liked the way you’d throw him knowing glances from time to time, sharing a secret only for the two of you to know.
Yet, he wondered if maybe one of them would manage to sway your heart—he’d seen Kevin steal you away during your break earlier, to take you to the wooden jump tower near the cliffs. He liked to boast about his diving, and from the way Younghoon could hear you laughing from afar you seemed to be having fun. He stalled for a moment, watching how you were sitting on the pier, your feet dangling in the water. When Kevin pushed himself up with his arms to get onto the pier next to you, you playfully shoved him back, making him go under with a splash. He was laughing when he came back up, and so were you. That was a good thing, right? You were having fun. You already knew the thing with the bet too, so if you liked Kevin in spite of that then who was Younghoon to interfere? Kevin was a good guy anyway, and bet or not he seemed genuinely interested. No, there shouldn’t be any problem.
And yet, Younghoon felt bitter about it, a greedy part of him wishing he could have that laugh all to himself.
Tumblr media
“So, can I have your number? In case I need a buddy to go diving with again sometime?” Kevin grinned up at you from the water, brushing back his wet hair. It reminded you of Younghoon, the way he’d run his hand through his hair every few minutes, pushing it out of his forehead just for it to fall right back into place. Maybe you should buy him some bobby pins—probably not. After all, you liked when he did that.
“Is that smile a yes?” Kevin pulled you out of your thoughts.
“Huh? Ah, sorry, left my phone at the bar,” you both knew it was just an excuse, but Kevin didn’t seem particularly offended. He swam over to the pier, resting his arms on the wooden board and propping up his chin.
“What has you so happy then?”
“Nothing much. Just a friend.”
“I can be a friend too,” he replied playfully.
“Sure, friend,” you easily agreed, ignoring the flirty undertone that defeated the meaning of his words. Friends you could do.
To be honest, your expectations for this summer had been low. You didn't know anyone in this small town aside from your uncle and even though you had a good relationship with him, you could picture better ways to spend the hot season than helping out at his bar. To your surprise though, you were slowly starting to enjoy your time here. When you’d first heard of the bet it hadn’t left the best impression, but seeing them try so hard to impress you was a little cute and despite everything they seemed like sweet, genuine guys. And the fact that you knew about the bet made it pretty fun to watch the spectacle, even more so since you had someone to share mischievous smiles about it with. It felt like you were partners in crime, a secret friendship blooming between the two of you that had no real reason to be secret aside from the thrill of it all.
Tumblr media
You weren’t the fondest of riding the bicycle. In fact, back at home you didn’t even own one. You lived in the next bigger town and you got around just fine using public transport. That seemed unthinkable here though, with two buses running a day—one in the morning and one at night. So, if you didn’t want to walk everywhere, you had to make do with your cousin’s old bicycle that he’d used before he’d moved out for college. It was a little rattly but it was holding up pretty well—or at least that had been the case until today. You weren’t sure what exactly happened, but suddenly the counter pressure when pedaling had disappeared, and you’d almost fallen forward over the bicycle’s handlebars. Now you were standing at the side of the road in the middle of nowhere, not even half way back to your uncle’s place with no reception and a chain that was just loosely hanging off the gears. It being night didn’t really help you to feel better about it all. While you knew it was probably safer here than in some street downtown that was bustling with drunk people, it still felt scarier, the tall trees along the road looming over you. Begrudgingly you pushed the bicycle forward, the lamp flickering weakly and barely doing anything to lighten up the path ahead.
In the distance, you heard the sound of an engine approaching, and the thought of coming across someone on this deserted street made your stomach churn with dread. A brief glance behind you told you it was a motorcycle, the headlight almost a little blinding in the darkness. Just before it went past you, you squeezed your eyes shut, hoping it would go by fast. You wanted to let out a relieved breath once it did, but then you heard the motor stopping only a few meters ahead. Your eyes snapped open, panic rushing through your veins as you watched the driver get off. Your grip around the handle bars tightened, making your knuckles turn white. You made a point of not looking at the guy, even when he came closer, but then you heard a familiar voice.
“Y/n? You good?”
You raised your gaze in time to see him take off his helmet. He shook out his black hair before pushing it out of his forehead the way he always did.
“Younghoon.” Relief washed over you.
“Sorry, did I frighten you?”
“Don’t worry about it.”
“So, what happened?” He took an examining look at your bicycle. “Chain came off?”
You shrugged helplessly. “Whatever you say.”
He nodded slowly, running his hand through his hair once more. “I can fix that for you.”
“Really?”
“It’s pretty simple. But maybe something for daylight. Let me give you a ride home and we’ll come back for it tomorrow?”
You glanced over to the motorcycle that was waiting a little ahead and then back to Younghoon. Your expression must have been weary because he grinned. “Don’t worry I have a spare helmet. And I’m a safe driver too.”
“I wasn’t doubting you.”
“It’s fine if you were.”
“I wasn’t.”
“Mhm, sure,” he stepped a little closer, putting the helmet on for you and closing the fastener under your chin. Your breath caught when his fingers brushed against your skin, the feeling lingering despite the fleetingness of the touch. “Ready to go?”
You swallowed around the lump in your throat, trying to get a grip of yourself. “Just a—let me just—,” instead of finishing your sentence you just gestured towards your bicycle instead. He huffed a laugh and watched as you pushed it further to the side and leaned it against a tree in safe distance to the road. Once you’d locked it, you turned back around to Younghoon who was still looking at you.
“Ready,” you croaked.
He smiled, and despite the darkness of the night you could see the small crinkles forming in the corners of his eyes. “Good.”
You walked the few meters to his bike in silence and you thought there was an odd tension there. Or maybe you were just nervous about the ride, you reasoned with yourself. He got out his spare helmet, pushing his hair out of his forehead once more before putting it on. With ease he swung his leg over the machine before patting the leather of the seat behind him. You got on too, certainly looking a lot less dignified than he did and shuffled back as far as you could to bring some distance between the two of you. Before starting the motor, he looked back at you once more. “Hold on tight.” Unsure what exactly to hold onto, you clung to the edges of the seat, your nails digging into the leather.
He didn’t drive too fast, surely out of consideration for you, but you still couldn’t help but feel a little anxious. When he hit a small bump in the road, you let out a shriek, your arms instinctively letting go of the seat to wrap around his waist instead. You held on tight, the distance you’d made sure of before completely forgotten. Once you’d recovered from the brief shock though, you wondered if this was okay or if you’d overstepped. But Younghoon didn’t say anything about it and you didn’t want to let go again, not when you felt so safe with your arms wrapped around him.
The ride was over way too quickly, and you almost wished you’d given him wrong directions when he stopped in front of your uncle’s house. Chances of him catching on would have probably been high though, considering he was from here while you were just here for the summer.
“Are you sure it’s this one?” Younghoon said, after he’d taken off his helmet, looking at the house questioningly.
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“I just didn’t know you were related to the owner.”
“He’s my uncle,” you explained matter of factly. “But how do you know he lives here?”
Younghoon chuckled. “This is a pretty small town, you know?”
“Right,” you nodded. You took your helmet off too, awkwardly holding it out for him to take. “So, uh, thanks for the ride.”
He tore his gaze away from the house to meet yours. “Was my pleasure.” There was that sweet smile again, making your heart melt. You smacked your lips together, the way you did when applying lipstick—a nervous habit of yours. His gaze flickered to the movement before wandering back up to your eyes. There was something there. He took a small step towards you, just a few inches but it felt like he was suddenly way up in your personal space. You thought he was going to kiss you, but he didn't move. Instead he just kept looking at you with an unreadable expression.
Unable to hold eye contact, you lowered your head, staring at your feet instead. “I should go inside then.”
“Mhm, you should. I’ll pick you up tomorrow? Is around noon good?”
“Pick me up?”
He chuckled, shaking his head in amusement. “Your bicycle, remember?”
“Oh, of course. Noon is good. Should I give you my number? Maybe you can text me fifteen minutes or so before you’ll be here tomorrow?”
“Not worried that this is all just part of my scheme to win the bet?” His voice was quiet and yet there was a cockiness to it that made your heart race.
"Shut up." It was a weak comeback, but it put a grin on Younghoon's face. His gaze dropped to your lips once more before coming back up.
"Make me."
Your eyes widened in surprise, caught off guard by the bold implication of his words. You swallowed around the lump in your throat, your whole body was thrumming with nerves. Your gaze flickered to his lips. You inched closer. That's what he'd meant right? You wouldn't be overstepping if you kissed him now, right? You looked up into his eyes, just to be sure that you weren't misunderstanding things. But right when you did, he cupped your jaw with his hand, pulling you in until his lips crashed into yours.
Kissing him felt so natural, it was as if all your secret smiles and shared grins had naturally led up to this moment. You kissed him until you felt breathless and even then you were reluctant to pull away. When you finally did, he didn't let you go too far, his thumb drawing patterns on your cheek and his eyes taking in every inch of your face.
"I think I should really go now," you eventually broke the silence when you couldn't endure it anymore.
"Okay," he whispered.
"Okay," you repeated. "I'll see you around noon."
Tumblr media
Younghoon couldn’t stop himself from smiling on the whole ride home. You'd forgotten to give him your number, but he felt that it didn't really matter anymore. He could just ask you again tomorrow. After all, he'd gotten something way better tonight. He recalled the way your arms had held onto him tightly on the ride and your tousled hair after you’d taken off the helmet. Mostly, he recalled how warm your lips had felt against his. He couldn’t wait to see you again.
Tumblr media
The chain was back on in a matter of seconds. Younghoon looked as if he’d done it a zillion times before.
“And you couldn’t have done that last night?” You asked from where you were standing next to him, watching as he wiped his fingers on a cloth. Nothing had happened since he'd picked you up and you'd driven back to your bicycle together. You almost wondered if it was all an odd fever dream and he didn’t actually kiss you.
“I did say it was easy," He admitted simply, "But it’s always better to check everything with proper lighting rather than letting you ride home on a potentially broken bicycle. Can’t risk you getting hurt, can we?"
It was just common decency but somehow the way he said it, looking up at you with a cheeky grin, made your heart skip a beat and your cheeks flush. You avoided his gaze, your focus falling onto his jaw instead. “You have a little—” you motioned to your own face, trying to mirror where he’d stained his skin with grease just below the jaw line. He tried to wipe it away with the back of his hand, his grin traded for something more innocent. “There?”
The scene captivated you a little too much, thoughts of touching that jaw, of pulling him into a kiss circling your mind. In your daze, it took you a second to snap out of it. “Yeah,” you mumbled, not really paying attention. "There."
Younghoon thoroughly made sure the bicycle was safe to ride and only then started to pack up his tools. You watched as he diligently put them away.
“How come you know how to do this?” you eventually broke the silence.
“What, putting a chain back on?”
“Yeah.”
“Hm,” he shrugged. “I like fixing things. And it comes in handy too, doesn’t it?” He said the last bit with a smile that you couldn’t help but return.
“Yeah, it does. Thanks again.”
He got up and dusted off his pants. “It’s nothing. Call me if something happens again.”
“I will.” Your gaze followed him as he walked back to his bike, getting his helmet from where it hung off the handle bars. He didn't put it on just yet, taking a quick glance at the wing mirror first.
“You lied!” He complained in mocked offense, before turning back around to you. He wore a pout, his finger pointing at the grease stain that was still right there below his jaw line.
You giggled. “What can I say, I’m neither upright nor honest.”
Younghoon grinned and walked back over to you, his helmet still in his hand. "Is that so?" He asked as he stepped back into your personal space. You took a tiny step towards him too, closely watching his reaction. That grin was still there. With a racing heart you tugged the cloth out from where he had messily shoved it into his pocket. Then you reached up to his jaw, slowly wiping at the grease stain until it was gone. The whole time, Younghoon was watching you intently, your eyes, your nose your lips—
You lowered your hand when you were done, but he caught your wrist to stop you from going too far.
"Thanks." His voice was barely a whisper. Your eyes flickered to his mouth.
"You're welcome," you replied just as quietly, inching just the tiniest bit closer. You felt his breath on your skin and then his lips on yours, again and again and again.
Tumblr media
Things between the two of you felt exciting and new and good—but there was also this looming uncertainty. Younghoon knew what it meant to him. But what about you? What was all this to you? Even though he didn't want to delude himself, he couldn't help hoping that this, that he was special to you. The secret smiles you exchanged started to feel a little different, like there was a little more. And there was: the two of you were texting a lot now that you'd exchanged numbers and you often came down to the beach earlier to hang out with him on the old lighthouse before your shift. You weren’t doing that for the other guys. Your gaze also didn't linger on them the way it did on him, no matter how much they pestered you. And of course you weren't kissing them either. That was, as far as he knew, reserved for him alone. That made it easy to endure when you were laughing and joking around with the guys. Except at times, you'd glance over to him with a cocky grin. Almost as if you wanted to make sure he was watching, as if you wanted to purposely rile him up. It made him want to walk over and kiss you right there in front of them, but you hadn't talked about these things yet and you seemed to enjoy the thrill of hide and seek. So, kissing was only allowed for when you were alone with no one to see.
Consequently he was keeping a low profile, sitting in the sand with some of the others and pretending not to watch from afar how Changmin and Juyeon were leaning on the counter, competing for your attention. Eventually he tore his gaze away to focus on the conversation in front of him instead, which only got interrupted when Jacob remarked that Changmin and Juyeon must have been unsuccessful, as they were coming back down to the beach. You on the other hand were not behind the bar anymore, a small sign indicating that it was closed for now. A feeling of worry started to spread in his guts. Did something happen? Did they make you feel uncomfortable? He knew his friends were good guys and wouldn’t ever intentionally do that, but just because it wasn't their intention didn't mean it couldn’t happen. Maybe it was nothing, but he just needed to make sure you were okay.
Without thinking further he got up from the sand, jogging past Changmin and Juyeon who looked at him in confusion, and up to the bar. You weren't anywhere to be found though, the little door locked and the space behind the counter empty. The other only place he could come up with was the lighthouse, so he made his way there, hurrying up the spiral staircase until he got to you, sitting in the middle of the steps and munching on a sandwich. You looked up at him in surprise as he stood before you, breathing a little heavy, but a smile spreading on his lips. He chuckled. He should have known he was worrying for nothing.
"You're on break?"
"Mhm," you nodded and scooted over a bit, making space for you to sit with him. "What's the hurry for?"
There was a little sauce on your upper lip. He reached out to wipe it away and you simply let him.
"I don't know, I was wondering if you're fine."
"Why wouldn't I be?'
He shrugged. He didn't know either, after all you'd never been uncomfortable with the boys' advances. Maybe he was the only one who felt that way.
You leaned in a little closer, bumping your shoulder against his with a cheeky grin. "Or were you maybe jealous?"
With a huffed laugh he met your gaze. "What if I was?"
He thought he saw your cheeks flush when you focused back on your sandwich. "Maybe I'd like that."
Tumblr media
It was late, around midnight, and you listened to the sound of the waves as you sat side by side in the sand. The bar was still open, but your uncle had taken on the night shift, giving you the freedom to spend your time out here, away from people. You hear the music and laughter from afar and if you turned around you'd see the colorful string lights too, but you much preferred the view of the ocean in front of you. At least for now.
Younghoon was sitting close to you, his hand just barely touching yours. You wondered if he was cold in his white tee while you were all wrapped up in his cozy hoodie. You inched closer, intertwining your fingers and pulling his hand into your lap. Maybe you could at least keep his arm warm. He turned to look at you with a smile, before running his free hand through his hair.
"The boys would hate this," he said with a chuckle.
"Would they really?" Your voice sounded more serious than intended. You knew it was just an offhand comment, but it made you wonder if that could be a dealbreaker for him. You knew he treasured his friends.
He considered for a moment. "Only if I'm not serious. They care about you, you know."
"So, are you? Serious?"
"Yeah." He didn't shy away from your gaze. "I'm serious."
You squeezed his hand in yours and he squeezed right back and even though it was such a small gesture it gave you butterflies. He was serious about you, about this. With flushed cheeks and a smile tugging at your lips, you leaned your head against his shoulder. You sat like that for a while, back to listening to the waves.
"Maybe we should end their bet," you eventually mumbled. "Since they already lost." You could imagine the surprise on their face if you were to tell them.
"Mhm, we should," he rested his head against yours, "but not now. Let's stay here a little longer."
 "Yeah, let's."
Tumblr media
"That actually makes so much sense," Eric exclaimed dramatically, after you'd told them a few days later. "How else would you have resisted my charm?"
Changmin huffed a laugh. "Right, because you're so irresistible."
"Hey–"
"Anyway," Sangyeon interrupted, "that means the bet is off."
Sunwoo looked at him with a raised eyebrow, casually resting his arm on Younghoon's shoulder. "You're only saying that because you've lost. Younghoon is clearly on team beach volleyball. He just joined in on a game the other day."
Eric shook his head and formed an X with his arms. "Nope, no, he clearly said he wasn't joining."
Younghoon rolled his eyes at their antics, wondering if he should say something to make them shut up. But then he met your amused gaze and decided to leave it be.
"What was the wager anyway?" You asked him quietly.
Younghoon shrugged as he intertwined his fingers with yours. "I have no idea."
You giggled. He liked the sound of it and the happy glint in your eyes. He also liked the shimmer of your lip gloss.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
masterlist | spotify playlist

Content Tags: nothing major, more mentions of Jimmy-Steve, smoking (cigs and weed), underage smoking (it's Ian you should expect this by now), reader mentions their ex, Lip gets a sunburn, Carl's a little shit, yeehaw
Chapter Four: Let's Go To The Beach
Word Count: 1.5k
Tumblr media
The array of things you and Lip purchased were carried in various bags while you all wandered onto an empty stretch of beach. A volleyball net from the clearance section, obviously a volleyball, a shitty little disposable beach grill, some various sand toys and buckets for castle building, and of course, two coolers full of various food, snacks, and drinks.
You and Fiona set out the blanket while Ian and Lip set up the shitty little volleyball net. Fiona was pleasantly surprised by all of this, the beach day with you and her siblings was something she definitely needed.
Lip, Ian, Debbie, Carl, and Liam all decided to indulge in some beach volleyball, the two older brothers against their younger siblings. You and Fiona sat on the blanket, Franny in Fiona's lap. The two of you chatted, holding some small talk while you watched Debbie and the guys play volleyball.
Fiona must've caught your eyes gazing at Lip, cus she decided to start teasing you.
"See somethin' you like, huh?" She asked you with a little laugh. It made you blush, because, well, yeah... you did in fact see something you liked.
On top of the way Lip looked while he was shirtless and sweaty playing volleyball, you just couldn't deny how sweet it was seeing him with his younger siblings. He and Ian were basically best friends, and he was so encouraging whenever Liam had the ball... it just made you think about what a sweet guy Lip really was, under that whole cocky facade he had going.
"I haven't seen him this happy in a while, gotta be honest." Fiona commented as she took a swig of beer.
You raised your eyebrows a bit in surprise. "Really? What do you mean?"
"He kinda had a rough go recently... just some shit. College shit." She explained, sighing a little while feeting Franny some fruit.
You looked curiously, but decided not to pry, since Fiona seemed like she wasn't going to say anything else.
"You should come join in!" Lip called over to you, and you laughed.
"I fucking suck at volleyball!" You called back, shaking your head.
"So what? So does Carl!" Ian laughed, making Carl whine with offense.
After some back and forth, along with some teasing from Fiona, you relented and joined the others in the sand. Liam joined his oldest brothers on the other side, you joined Carl and Debbie's team.
Despite you sucking at it, it was actually a lot of fun. You dove to bump the ball and took a spill in the sand, but you laughed, looking up as Lip blocked out the sun and smiled down at you from the other side of the net.
"You were right..." He started, offering a hand to help you up. "You fuckin' suck at this."
You laughed again as you took the hand offered to you. "Hey, I warned you, didn't I?"
Basking in the sun - or, more importantly, watching Lip bask in the sun, was just incredible. It was like something out of a movie - honestly, you felt like you were watching that beach scene from Top Gun or something, seeing Lip all glistening with sweat and leftover sunscreen... it was becoming increasingly harder to focus on the game of volleyball rather than his muscular, sweaty body. You managed somehow, though.
The game went until Fiona called everybody to have some lunch. Lip and Ian sat on either side of the little disposable grill to try and figure the damn thing out. You just watched Lip, a little too fondly probably, but then he smiled at you while you were staring; the butterflies overwhelmed your stomach.
You and the Gallaghers indulged in your lunch, ending with ripping up a leftover hotdog bun and throwing it for some pestering seagulls.
Rather than returning to your volleyball game, you concocted a fun idea - a sandcastle building contest, going to be judged by Debbie and Franny. The remainder of you divided into pairs, you with Lip, Ian with Carl, and Fiona with Liam. You all disbursed the buckets and toys, and Debbie counted you guys down.
You drowned out the two other pairs, focusing on what you were doing with Lip. "Go get sand, I'm gonna dig a little moat."
Lip chuckled at your enthusiasm, and grabbed a bucket. "Sure thing."
You smiled a little as you watched him go closer to the shore for some wet sand, then got to work. You patted a little area of sand for the actual castle, then dug a moat - suddenly you heard Carl mutter something about that being a good idea.
"No cheating, Carl!" You heard Debbie yell at her younger brother, which made you giggle at the banter between them. It vaguely reminded you of the banter you'd heard between Lip and Ian too.
Lip came back with a bucket of packed sand, and with your direction, neatly placed it. You both built around it and decorated, until Debbie counted down the last 10 seconds and declared time.
"Goddammit!" You heard Carl yelp, seeing his and Ian's... whatever they made, that was apparently a castle.
Fiona and Liam were declared the winners for some creative ideas from the youngest sibling. Well, you had to hand it to him, he was a little genius.
The rest of the day was fun, a little more volleyball, some swimming, Debbie even got little Franny in the water for a few minutes.
As the evening grew a little later, Lip and Ian built a shitty little bonfire for everybody to enjoy. There was some marshmallows, some s'mores, some laughs. Then eventually, you were left with the oldest three Gallaghers, Debbie and Carl took Franny and Liam back to the family's suite.
"This was a pretty fuckin' nice day." Fiona muttered after she took a drag of her cigarette.
"It was their idea." Lip said, nodding towards you with a little smile.
You laughed a little bit. That was true... but you'd planned to tell Fiona it was actually Lip's idea.
Fiona smiled a little at you, nudging you gently. "Hey, thanks."
"My ex was a dick. This fuckin'... Jimmy-Steve, he sounds like he's worse than a dick. You deserved something nice." You muttered with a little smile. "And, yknow what, I had fun too. I think everybody did. I bet Liam's having a pretty gnarly sugar crash from his three s'mores right about now."
You all laughed at that. Yeah, it was probably true.
After a few more shared laughs plus a joint, you guys tidied up, and headed in for the night. Unsurprisingly, Lip came back to your hotel room with you, but you were more than okay with that.
"Jesus fuck- I thought I put enough sunscreen on you!" You yelped, noticing Lip's bright red back.
Lip looked behind him, getting a small glance of it. "Oh, shit."
He sounded way too casual about it for your liking. You whipped out some aloe, rubbing it in your hands.
"Bend over." You demanded.
"Kinky."
"Lip, let me rub this shit on your back, c'mon!"
He relented, bending enough for you to slather the gel on his sunburn. He let out a little hiss initially, but relaxed as it soothed him.
"Was that so hard?" You muttered with a little laugh.
"Guess not." He replied, smiling a little at you.
Then, he caught you by surprise, giving you a gentle kiss. But for the first time, that didn't turn into anything more, despite your thoughts swirling about his glistening, sweaty abs earlier in the day. You two just went to bed.
In the morning, you both lingered in bed for a moment, having woken up in each other's arms.
"Any plans for the Gallaghers today?" You muttered softly.
Lip opened his mouth to speak before you both heard a crack of thunder, the sound making you jump slightly.
"Guess it's an inside day." Lip muttered.
After you got dressed, and reapplied a layer of aloe on his back, you and Lip went to the Gallaghers suite, and everybody had seemingly also decided it was an indoor day. Fiona ran down to the restaurant to grab food for everybody, and the youngest of the Gallaghers settled on a movie.
The rained-in vibes were obviously much different than the day prior; but it was also just nice to spend another day with the Gallaghers.
You couldn't help but wonder what your vacation would've been like if Lip hadn't spilled beer all over your stomach. Would you have met him at all? Would you have met any of your new friends, the crazy Gallagher family? You definitely knew you probably wouldn't have gotten eaten out as well as Lip did it, that was one thing you knew for sure.
"Y'alright?" Lip asked, it snapped you from your thoughts.
"Oh, yeah, yeah, just... yknow, thinkin' about stuff." You nodded with a little laugh.
"Thinkin' about doin' Lip again?" Carl laughed loudly, making your face flush bright red.
"Gross, Carl!" Debbie scolded, swatting her brother’s shoulder.
The day in the hotel suite wasn't as eventful as the previous few, but it was a nice change of pace.
Well - it would've remained uneventful, until there was a knock at the door. All you heard was one thing out of Fiona's mouth when she answered it...
"You son of a bitch!"

ten months love || heeseung x reader
note: i just thought of this out of nowhere idk but it turned out so cute ! it’s just sweet and lots of fluff ^_^ also not proofread per usual but yeah ENJOYY <33 wc: 1,889 words
Tumblr media
you didn’t meet in a really significant way. no meet cute or anything like that, just a shared class and mutual friends.
the first time you talked to each other one on one was at small house party. just a bunch of close friends, light drinking and hanging out.
some of you had decided to go out and sit by the pool, no swimming though since it was too cold. you all talked for a while, about anything and everything and had some laughs.
in high school you never really had a friend group like this, you were close and you knew you’d be friends with them for a long time.
one by one everyone started to head inside; “i’m cold”, “i’m gonna go grab another drink”, “ugh i left my phone inside” they’d say as they retreated inside the house.
then it was just you and heeseung. he was the one you were least close with. but something about him made you want to get to know him.
you were intrigued by him. the way he was loud and energetic around the friend group but reserved and quiet on his own or around people he didn’t know.
to your surprise he spoke first, “do you like legos?”
it was random and completely out of no where. you’d just been sitting there in silence so you wondered how he had gotten to that thought. you just wanted to know what he was thinking, understand what was going on in his head.
“uh yeah, i think they’re cool,” you replied, after a second .
the pool chair squeaked as he laid back, copying the position you were in. “i bought a new set, it’s a bouquet of flowers,” he said, looking up at the stars with you.
you don’t know why but it brought a smile to your face. “that’s nice… i’ve never built a lego set,” you said.
“oh really?!” he said, genuine surprise in his voice as he turned to look at you.
“yeah,” you said, chuckling a bit at his reaction. “i mean they’re nice to look at and all but i just never thought to build one myself.”
“well, why don’t we build mine together? you can come over after our class tomorrow,” he said, and the amount of eye contact he kept made you look away.
“i’d love to,” you said, looking up at the night sky then back at him to share an appreciative smile.
he smiled back before looking back up at the stars. and you two sat out there pointing out constellations and talking about aliens until it got late and too cold to be out there.
that weekend, he came over to your dorm and you two assembled the pretty bouquet together. you didn’t know how intimate building lego sets could be until this day but it completely destroyed any sort of awkwardness that was between you.
after the flower bouquet hangout, you two were practically inseparable. everytime you hung out, you brought up something that sparked your next hang out idea.
the first time you went to his apartment, you saw his toy story figurines and he suggested that over the weekend you two could have a toy story movie marathon. you talked about things you enjoyed in your childhood, then you mentioned the mario movie and you both went to watch that together too.
he said that he was really good at all the mario games. he said he was good at any type of games and you suggested you both go to an arcade to see who’s better. and when the day ended in a tie, he challenged you to a basketball match instead. of course he beat you, but when you suggested a volleyball rematch next weekend, there was just no way he’d beat you then.
and just like that, every weekend or every other day piled up and two months had passed. even if you didn’t hang out, you two would text everyday.
you texted about everything. your days, your favorite things, your families, your worries and fears.
you could and did talk to him about everything. and those two months turned to five months. and he introduced you to his brother when he invited you to watch him play basketball.
not only that but your girl friends started to tease you about how close you two had been getting. you’d just roll your eyes and brush them off, “it’s not like that,” you’d say.
you thought they couldn’t be more wrong. you really cared about him and now he was one of your best friends. and the way your heart fluttered when his hands would brush yours as you both reached in to grab popcorn or steal the basketball from each other or attach a stubborn lego piece or to press the arcade machine buttons had nothing to do with any growing feelings towards him.
no it couldn’t. he was your friend. and you’d never had a friend like this so you wouldn’t dare say anything to him to ruin it.
and as seven months passed your day hangouts turned into sleepovers. even on your first sleepover, you were already comfortable enough with each other to sleep on the same bed.
it wasn’t weird or awkward. it was actually perfect. you laid a good distance away from each other and talked all night. neither one of you stopped to watch whatever was playing on the tv.
you both slept over at each others houses all the time now. you had clothes at his apartment and he had a toothbrush at yours.
by the eighth there wouldn’t even be a plan, he’d just come over and you’d lay around on the couch, binging a new show.
or you would go over and get your assignments done at his place to help you focus more.
in the ninth month, you two were just basically attached at the hip, an accessory to the other, a package deal.
you would grocery shop together, study together, be each others plus ones at parties.
but it did get frustrating the more people started to ask if you were together together. you hated explaining to everyone that he was just your friend.
… though what you hated even more was when someone asked if you and heeseung were dating, then when you’d explain that you were just friends, they’d ask you to introduce them to him.
they’d ask you for his number or be friends with you to get to him. you didn’t know the feeling you felt in your heart in these moments.
he was your friend, your best friend. so it shouldn’t be jealousy… but you just wanted him all to yourself.
“i think he’s talking to someone.” no, you knew. you knew for a fact that the only person he spent his time with was you.
you lied and you felt guilty. you felt bad keeping him to yourself, knowing that you’d never ruin your friendship by letting yourself feel anything more for him.
you keep him to yourself because deep down you know that you are in lov-
no.
no you couldn’t be in love with him.
you love him. just like any other best friends love each other.
before you knew it, you’d been friends with him for ten months. and you found yourselves right back in the same place you were when you had first talked to each other.
except this time, it was summer and you both sat at the edge of the pool, legs dipped into the water.
it was just the two of you outside, as you watched the sun setting in the distance. you don’t know when everyone snuck back inside but of course you didn’t mind.
there was quite literally no space in between the two of you, just how you always were. and you sat silently watching the ripples in the pool as you both kicked your feet around.
“you know, this is the exact place we were when we first really talked to each other,” he said, filling the silence.
a smile made its way to your lips at the memory, “yeah… ten months ago,” you said, turning to look at him.
his eyes finding yours, and you watched as his eyes dropped down to your lips just for a second. and you had to make yourself look away before the blush reached your cheeks.
he laughed awkwardly as he turned to look in the same direction as you. the sun was almost completely gone now. and for some reason the moment was tense as you avoided looking over at him again.
“back then, i couldn’t even think of anything to say to you. now, we basically live together,” he said. you could see him turn his head to you but you just looked down at the water.
the pool lights turned on then. “i know… i wanted to get to know you too, you’ve always seemed interesting to me,” you admitted, and he laughed to himself.
“can i tell you something? it’s a secret,” he said, angling himself so that he’s facing you more. you looked up him, a genuine look in your eyes.
“you know you can tell me anything,” you said, a sweet smile on your lips. he looked down at them again before he looked away.
“the first time jay introduced you to us, the only thing i could think was that you were the prettiest girl i’d ever seen. and that first time we talked, i only brought up legos because i wanted to build that bouquet with you. i wanted to hang out with you because i was crushing on you since i first laid my eyes on you,” he said, looking at you, hesitantly.
you couldn’t believe the words coming out of his mouth even though your heart was screaming at you to tell him how you’ve felt too. “… so all this time,” you started, still at a loss for words.
“yes… all this time. and the more time i spend with you, i think the more i fall for you,” he said, almost whispering. his cheeks and ears had turned a light shade of red, and he was fidgeting with his fingers.
you stayed silent as you thought to yourself what this all meant. “… uh- it’s- it’s okay if you don’t feel the same, i just thought you should know-,” he began to ramble before you cut him off.
your lips pressed to his, as you caressed his cheek with a hand. it was quick, just enough to show him how you felt. and when you pulled away, he was still shocked but a smile made its way to his lips.
he sighed in relief, leaning his forehead onto yours and holding the hand that was still on his hot cheek. he leaned in and kissed you again, more slow and gentle this time.
“if you’d have me, i’d really really like to be your boyfriend,” he said, leaning back and taking hold of both your hands in the space between you.
“heeseung, i’d love for you to be my boyfriend,” you replied, a soft blush rising to your cheeks. both of you smiling like lovesick fools, as he wrapped an around your shoulder to bring you into his side.

Commission #3 in the list of 5! Thank you for trusting me with your prompt! I hope you like it! (For reference, this sharkman is built like King Shark, not a merman with a shark tail).
Contents: human male reader who’s bigger and taller than most, and who usually (and happily) takes care of his friends, meets a big ol’ sharkman on a tropical getaway, who’s big enough and tall enough to take care of him for a change. Some very light D/s undertones but nothing hardcore - just some manhandling and consensual dominance and praise from our big sharkman in the bedroom. Also featuring a sporty werewolf, a sexy werewolf, a cheeky naga, a cinnamon roll satyr, and a smol and shy fellow human, a tropical beach setting, and some mention of alcohol.

The sun sent red and black patterns dancing over your closed eyelids, and the heat of it on your exposed skin was truly glorious. In the background, the sea brushed against the white sand, barely a whisper to let you know she was still there; that you hadn’t floated away in this blissful paradise.
And to think you’d actually been a bit pissed off with Eric when he’d first said he was having his bachelor party on a tropical island, so far from home. That had been before you’d seen the expanse of silver sand, with those picture-perfect palm trees leaning down over it like curious explorers all inspecting a rare seashell. The water beyond was so clear it looked like a moving glass sculpture, with the sand undulating away beneath it out towards the distant coral reef studded with starfish and shells and a thousand tiny fish.
Someone yelled a warning and you twitched awake, but too late. A wet, cold beach ball landed on your stomach and bounced off into the sand beside you. With a put-upon sigh, you opened your eyes and peered over at where Eric and the others had been playing volleyball with a floaty, too-big beach ball.
It was still within easy reach, so you scooped it up and lobbed it back at them one-armed, and they cheered.
“Thanks big guy!” Fennel hollered at you, and the little flash of the blond satyr’s white tail blended almost perfectly with the pale, glittering water behind him.
“No worries,” you chuckled with genuine affection for your mad bunch of friends before letting your head loll back onto the towel beneath you. You heaved another sigh and stared up at the sky between the fingers of the palm leaves. Deep contentment settled around you, despite the rising racket they were making.
When the roughhousing started to get a bit too boisterous about twenty minutes later, you sat up with a scowl and watched as Alban wrapped his thick, white, marble tail around Eric and held him in place, keeping him from reaching the ball. Eric suddenly doubled over and gave in to the shift, black fur rippling down his spine, claws sprouting at his hands, and Alban released him with a crowing laugh to let him fall into the sand on his face, while Eric’s red swimming trunks ripped open as his werewolf form took over.
“Fuck’s sake,” you muttered fondly and headed over to keep the healthy play from getting too out of hand. They were in public after all.
It had been like this since university, when you’d shared a house with Eric, Alban, Fennel, Sebastián, and Matt in your very first year, and every year after. Between Eric and Sebastián at the full moon, Alban during moulting, and Fennel at change of coat season, you and Matt had put up with an awful lot as the only humans in the house.
Now, Matt was standing on the sand at a safe distance, watching as Eric leapt at Alban, flattening the naga’s human torso into the sand and expelling all the air from his lungs with an ‘oof’ that was audible even as you crossed to them. Fennel, however, had been knocked on his ass and looked a little winded, if otherwise unharmed. You didn’t even think the naga and werewolf had even noticed that he’d been caught up in the fray, which was nothing unusual with them when they started shoving and barging each other around. Sebastián was still up at the restaurant, thank the gods, otherwise he’d have shifted too, and you’d have had two overgrown puppies and a snake as thick and heavy as a felled oak tree to wrangle. Even for a human your size, that was asking a bit too much.
“Oi!” you yelled like a football coach, and to your pleasant surprise, both Alban and Eric looked up and froze, mid-tussle. “Knock it off. This is supposed to be a tropical paradise, and you’re not making it feel like that.” Ignoring them for the time being, you approached Fennel first and held out a hand to him. “You alright?”
“Yeah,” he laughed, shaking sand out of his golden curls. His hair spilled around his chunky, ram’s horns and ears and joined up with the stripe of pale gold fur that went all along his spine from his shaggy, ovine lower half. “Not the first time I’ve been swept off my feet by a naga,” he grinned as you hauled him back on his hooves.
“Won’t be the last, handsome,” you snorted and looked around at the rest of the beach.
Luckily, there was hardly anyone else about. A spectacular-looking mermaid with a glittering, teal and cyan blue tail that flashed pink when she moved it had hauled herself out of the water and was watching your group of guys with a slender, white-blonde centaur curled up beside her, and you couldn’t tell at that distance if they were impressed or appalled by your friends’ behaviour.
In the water, an orca mer breached the surface with his family, his children shrieking and also crashing back down into the tiny waves with as much glee and abandon as Alban and Eric had displayed on land. Not far from them, the triangular fin of a great white shark cut through the water like a knife through silk.
You paused, wondering if you should alert the family, but then you saw the orca mother clock it and dip beneath the waves. No panic ensued, so you dismissed it as another merfolk, and turned back to your group just as Sebastián sashayed down from the boardwalk and surveyed the carnage on the sand with a raised eyebrow.
“I leave for ten minutes to buy you all drinks, and look what happens,” he said in his lilting, Spanish accent. “Honestly. Here,” he added, and held out the tray of assorted drinks. As you glanced at it, you saw that they were all either beer or cocktails, and with the sun as hot as it was, you rolled your eyes.
“Didn’t you get any water as well?” you asked.
He did have the grace to look a little chagrined, but he didn’t seem all that keen to make the trudge back along the boardwalk to the restaurant at the far end of the beach, so you sighed and grabbed your wallet from your bag. “Don’t worry. I’ll get it.”
“You’re the best,” Fennel said from behind you, his hands already cupped around a piña colada that was almost big enough to bathe in.
“Go slow, yeah?” you said with a shake of your head at him. “And try not to kill each other while I’m gone.”
“Whatever you say, big guy!” Fennel giggled. “Oh, and can you get us a litre of Coke while you’re there?”
“And, like, a whole bucket of those amazing fries!” Eric added, his wolf’s voice deep and gravelly but his words still clear enough around his mouthful of fangs.
“Yeah, yeah, you got it,” you sighed with a placating wave of your hand as you turned away.
“You’re the best!” Fennel beamed, followed immediately by a hiccup.
At this rate you were going to need more pitchers of water than you could carry in one go.
The rush of someone rising out of the water behind you down the beach drew your attention — perhaps Alban and Eric had started up again — but your eyebrows rose when you saw a being you’d never actually seen before in person sloshing through the shallows on powerful legs.
Sharkfolk were rare and solitary, once shunned by their merfolk cousins as ‘beast men’ in the same way minotaurs had once been treated as lesser by centaurs simply because they had the head and shoulders of an animal instead of a human. Luckily, things had come a long way since then, but the sharkfolk tended to keep to themselves all the same. This one had red and white swimming shorts on that said ‘coastguard’, and he waved cheerily at the orca family as he left the water and made his way up the beach towards you, also heading towards the boardwalk.
He paused as he drew level with you and he looked you up and down in a way that made you grateful that your own boardshorts were still dry and hanging loose around your hips. His eyes seemed completely black, and his storm-grey head melted seamlessly into a thick neck and broad shoulders to give him a hunched-over look that spoke of immense power. His arms were thickly muscled too, his torso bare and monumental, and criss-crossed here and there with scars. He was also about seven feet tall.
“Big guy?” he chuckled at you, and it took you a moment to catch on; he must have heard Fennel’s enthusiastic exclamation. Yes, you were pretty big — for a human — but not compared to a naga and a shifted werewolf.
“Eh, long story,” you smiled. “And you’re only a foot or so taller than me.”
“I am bigger though,” the sharkman said, flexing his shoulders just enough to make his point, and more than enough to make your mouth go dry.
His smile was all sharp teeth, which didn’t help either. His lips pulled back when he laughed again, the sound deep and rich, and you swallowed, hoping his sense of smell wasn’t as good out of the water as you knew it would be in.
“Titus,” he said by way of introduction as he extended his three-fingered, webbed hand to you. “You heading up to the hotel?”
“Yeah. These losers forgot that only drinking alcohol in the heat is a dumb-ass thing to do, so… someone has to take care of them.” You smiled with affectionate exasperation around the words and rolled your eyes.
Something about that softened his almost brash expression though, and he shrugged his huge, round shoulder. “Big guy who takes care of his friends. Something else we have in common.”
You looked away, cheeks flushing hot when you realised he was flirting with you. “I guess.” You offered him your name as the two of you set off up the sand again, and then asked, “You work here all year round, or are you just here for the tourist season?”
He scratched the back of his head, his sharp, black claws rasping over his sandpaper-rough skin. You loved the watercolour tideline where the dark grey along the top of his head and down his back blurred into the milky white of his pale chest and belly. It made you want to run your hands over it to see if he was sensitive.
You tripped and refocused your attention on his answer.
“Yeah, just here for the season. I tend to move around a lot, you know? Never stay in one place long. Too much of the world to see. They needed a lifeguard for the summer, so I took the job. It’s been easy so far.”
“Let’s hope it stays that way,” you said, and he shot you another sharp-toothed grin that sent all your blood south.
“I’ll drink to that. Let me buy you one?” You’d been about to refuse, thinking that at least one of the group should stay sober, when he added, “Something soft for now, but maybe I can share a beer with you when I finish work tonight?”
You weren’t used to people being so forward with you, and it made your tongue falter.
Titus misread your surprise as discomfort, and immediately backed off. “Unless I misjudged…? Wouldn’t be the first time a guy’s not been interested…”
“No, no,” you blurted. “No, it’s not that. I just wasn’t expecting… I mean… I’m not exactly used to guys like you… You know… being into guys like me.”
“‘Big guy’?” he asked with incisive intuition, and you nodded.
A slow, deadly smile spread across his face, lips pulling right back, and the image of him closing those powerful jaws around your shoulder blazed across your imagination; of him letting you feel the prick of each pointed tooth across your skin as he held you down in place beneath him and —
You swallowed.
“Well, it’s not every day I come across someone who’s so…” Titus began, and again, his black eyes raked the length of your body, taking in the shape of you in a way that should have made you self-conscious, but all it did was turn you on, “… exactly my type,” he finished. “Come on, or I’ll get too distracted by you to finish my shift.”
You bit your lip to keep the resulting grin contained, and walked with him along the boardwalk. He used his staff discount, and no small amount of natural charm and charisma, to get you a deal on the Coke and fries, plus another soft drink for you, and he carried two pitchers of iced water for you while you carried the rest, plus an extra pitcher, on a tray back to your friends.
“Thank you,” you murmured as you stepped off the boardwalk and back onto the hot sand.
“Pleasure,” he replied in a quiet, polite rumble and he set the pitchers down near your towel.
The sun had crept around while you’d been away, and the palm trees were now casting a shadow across half of it, so you set the tray down as if it were a picnic blanket and straightened to find him standing much closer than you’d expected.
“So will I see you at the bar tonight?” he asked, large head tilted slightly to the side.
“Yeah,” you croaked, swallowing thickly and nodding. “I’d like that.”
He surprised you then by reaching out and crooking his forefinger, gently lifting your chin a fraction with the knuckle. “Looking forward to it,” he said, and walked away down the beach, leaving you breathless and thrumming all over.
“What was that about?”
Matt’s wispy tenor beside you made you jump and you turned around to find him tucking into the fries and looking up at you with his big, innocent, blue eyes wide and curious.
Taking a deep breath, you turned to face him and smiled, feeling like the proverbial cat who’d at least been promised the canary. “Just a little something for myself… Make sure you share those with the others…”
“Just getting my turn in before the wolves descend,” Matt protested, but he stalked away towards the others all the same, and you watched him offer them around.
Titus was waiting for you at the bar that evening, wearing dark grey slacks and a form-fitting white shirt that showed off the hulking slope of his shoulders. You wondered vaguely if it had been tailored to include a slit for his sharp fin on the back, and when he turned slightly in conversation with the bartender, you saw that it had. Instead of looking ridiculous, it just looked… inviting; enticing, like it was just asking you to slide your fingertip along the jut of dark, exposed fin and tease the skin beneath the fabric…
He was perched on a tall, metal stool, leaning one elbow against the bar and chatting easily with the spiked lizardfolk working the bar, but when caught sight of you, he jutted his chin in a friendly summons, and you found yourself powerless to do anything but approach.
“Hey,” you said as you joined him, but he didn’t speak for a moment.
He let his jet black eyes roam the length of you again, and you wondered if you should have dressed smarter. When you blurted something about being there for Eric’s bachelor weekend and not having expected to need date clothes, he held up a finger and the words died on your tongue.
“You look perfect,” Titus said in a voice that should have been too quiet to carry above the music and the people, yet you caught every syllable as they shivered through you. “Come, sit,” he said, indicating the empty seat beside him. “Tell me all about yourself.”
To your surprise, it was easy to sit there and just talk to him.
He listened attentively, keeping his gaze locked on you, and although he had bought you both a drink, you almost forgot to sip from it, losing yourself in conversation. He touched you often, laughing and clapping you on the shoulder at a tale from your undergrad days, and when you told him how you usually ended up ‘designated driver’, and how no one believed quite how difficult it could be to wrangle two drunk werewolves and an inebriated naga into a taxi in the dead of winter, he leaned close and rested his three-fingered hand on your upper thigh. His weight pressed the back of your leg into the bar stool and the heel of his palm dug deliciously into the muscle of your quad, and your breath caught.
“You’re kind,” he said, stroking his thumb across the fabric of your trousers. “I hope your friends know that.”
Unexpectedly emotional, you shrugged and glanced down, breaking eye contact. “Yeah, they look out for me too,” you said, and you meant it. “I have to admit though, it’s nice to do something that’s… just for me.”
“You want to get out of here and go back to mine?” he asked, taking his hand off you and leaning back in his seat again.
The decision was in your hands, but you’d already made up your mind hours ago.
You nodded, and he smiled, all joy. “Come on.”
Your feet felt like they were floating as you followed him out of the bar and back out into the balmy evening. Pausing briefly outside, you breathed deeply and inhaled the salt air with a smile on your lips. When you opened your eyes, you found him watching you. He didn’t say anything, but you got the impression he was pleased to see you relax.
His cabin sat a short way from the main hotel, and was sparsely but nicely furnished, with a comfy couch in the living-kitchen area and big, picture windows that overlooked a seating area and the dark ocean beyond. He offered you a drink, but you both knew it was only a pretence. You shook your head and bit your lip, feeling your heartbeat quicken.
Silently, he led you through a door on your left into his bedroom, which had a large bed and white, gossamer curtains that framed a view of the sea. “Tonight is for you,” he said, leaning down over your shoulder from behind and purring in your ear. Your breath hitched again when his large hand landed at the small of your spine and he added, “Will you let me take care of you?”
Unable to form words for a moment, you just nodded.
“Good. Now, I can’t kiss you the way a human would, but I’m going to make sure you feel good, alright?”
“Uh-huh,” you managed.
Before he went any further, you clarified that you were comfortable going without a condom, since sharkfolk didn’t catch or transmit human diseases, and he nodded. That done, he turned you around and backed you slowly up against the closed bedroom door with just his advancing presence and a low, insistent growl. Given that most of your partners before that had been human, and smaller than you, the sensation was wonderfully foreign. Your body relaxed, your breath coming in fast, shallow gasps through open lips, and his growling grew louder, the sound filling the room like an idling engine.
“I can smell you,” he said, looming over you and nuzzling the tip of his nose against the soft, vulnerable side of your neck. “I can taste you,” he went on before nipping at your skin and letting his tongue lick a hot, wet stripe across your racing pulse.
You let out a weak ‘oh’ and tried to keep your knees from giving out.
Then his black eyes rolled back a little to show a delicate crescent moon of white in each, his lips peeled back off his teeth, and he slowly took the whole of your left shoulder joint and most of your neck in his mouth.
Under different circumstances, you might have been embarrassed by the high, broken wail that left you at the sensation of being pinned and held completely in place by someone so powerful, but in that moment, endorphins flooded through you and your awareness tunnelled down to just the prick of teeth through the fabric of your shirt and the massive hand that had closed around your right wrist.
“Fuck,” you hissed and he rumbled in pleasure at your reaction.
He ground his hips against you and you could feel how hard he was already. His tongue laved across your throat again, tasting you, and he drew back with a heavy exhale, eyes returning to that full, midnight black as he regarded you. “I’ve been thinking about this all day, ever since I saw you on the beach earlier,” he said. “Couldn’t stop thinking about you. Get on the bed for me.”
In no time at all, you had lain back, naked, and Titus was halfway out of his own clothes when he caught sight of you and swore softly, shaking his head.
“You are so fucking gorgeous,” he growled, resuming his efforts at undoing his fly. “I’m going to wreck you.”
Another little mewl escaped you and your cock ached to be touched, but he hadn’t said you could, so you just lay there with it leaking over your stomach.
“Good,” he said as he slid his trousers over his hips and you saw his cock.
Thick, hard, and huge, it was everything you wanted, and you let out a barely restrained, “Please…”
“All in good time,” he purred, smiling again in a way that was hardly more than just a baring of his teeth. It was a smile that promised pleasure with the pretence of danger, and it lit you up all over.
To your surprise though, Titus actually took his time enjoying your body, but the thrill of having him run his tongue along the length of your cock while carefully keeping all his teeth out of the way was almost enough to make you spill. You could feel the way your body was practically there already, your thighs and torso shaking with want, your hands scrabbling at the sheets beneath you each time he took you into his mouth and curled his strong tongue around your cock, your spine arching, your blood pounding, but it wasn’t quite enough. Titus grinned and reached for the bottle of lube in his nightstand.
After he’d teased your ass with his thumb for a while, being very careful of his claws around the sensitive ring of muscle, he knelt above you, lifted your right leg, and eased the tip of his huge cock inside you, inch by inch, until you were so full you could hardly draw breath.
“Oh fuck,” you hissed when he finally sank to the hilt inside you and went still.
“That’s it, I’ve got you,” he crooned, holding your hips in both of his three-fingered, claw-tipped hands. “You look so good like this for me. Gods, look at you, you’re so full. You’ve taken all of my cock…”
A garbled noise left your lips and you sobbed another ‘please’, which prompted him to draw almost all the way out again.
Slowly, attentively, he fucked you, moving with care until you were accustomed to the massive stretch of him, but before too long he began to pick up his pace, and each thrust grew a little stronger. Titus grabbed your hips and lifted you, drawing you closer so that he could fuck you deeper, and changing the angle so that each stroke caught you just-so, and you could no longer help the noises that left you in a constant stream of nonsense.
“Please, please… please…” you choked. Your cock was still untouched because he hadn’t said you could touch yourself, and it drooled all over your belly each time he thrust his hips.
He began to growl in an unending, uncontrollable strain that made your ears ring.
“Fuck, I’m gonna come,” he said, the movements getting faster and harder, and the rhythm a little unsteady. “Oh gods, you’re gonna make me come…”
He lowered your hips back down so that he could reach around your raised leg and wrap his huge hand around your cock while you held both legs up, fully exposing yourself to him. “Yes, good, like that,” he snarled and you offered him a dopey smile. “Just like that. You look so good for me. So good. You’re gonna make me come. I’m gonna come…”
He worked you hard and fast in time with his own movements, and in a few seconds, you came with a shout, your body clenching tight around his big cock.
Titus roared, and you opened your eyes again just in time to watch his black eyes roll back to reveal only the whites.
His lips peeled all the way back, showing his pale gums and that row of lethal teeth. Bellowing, he arched his back, pressed his hips flush to your body, and spilled inside you. He let go of your cock and grabbed your other hip, pulling you right down onto him as close as he could, and you yelled again at the beautiful oversensitivity of it as he came inside you.
When he finally finished, his eyes rolled back to normal, and he set you gently down onto the mattress again. Spent and drained of strength, your legs flopped listlessly, and he also stayed put for a minute longer as if he hadn’t expected his orgasm to be so intense. His cock still twitched from time to time inside you, and he bowed his head over you, breathing hard.
“You are so fucking beautiful,” he grunted. “You ok?”
“Mmm,” you sighed, body lax and exhausted and aching in all the right ways.
Titus offered you an oddly shy smile and then carefully withdrew.
He cleaned you up with a tenderness that surprised you a little after his display of dominance and strength, but he seemed to enjoy the process almost as much as he had making the mess in the first place.
When he caught you looking up at him with an almost misty-eyed expression, he quirked his head. “What? I told you I was going to enjoy looking after you.” After a pause, he added, “I saw how you were with your friends. You’re always taking care of them, aren’t you?”
Too embarrassed to respond, you just shrugged and let him keep wiping the warm washcloth over your upper thighs and across your stomach in slow, soporific strokes that made your eyelids heavy and your spine turn to water.
“You deserve to be taken care of as well,” Titus rumbled, and then he lowered his blunt, shark’s muzzle to your inner thigh and gave you the closest approximation he could of a kiss. He nuzzled the sensitive skin there and around the crease of your hip, just teasing your balls with his tongue and then moving up over your belly in an act that was as much admiration as it was clean-up.
“You’re exquisite,” he said, and then he lay down facing you on his side, wash-cloth abandoned somewhere out of sight, and pulled you into his arms. “Come here. You want to stay the night?”
“Please,” you nodded as you rolled over, letting his huge arms encircle you as he tugged your back flush to his front and then reached down to pull the sheets up around you.
You'd honestly never fallen so quickly or so deeply asleep in your life.

We all have scars
Masterlist Nat Masterlist
Relationship: Natasha x Reader
Summary: Y/n is reluctant to join the avengers when they have a day off by the pool.
Word Count: 2048
Y/N’s POV:
It was a rare day that all of the Avengers had a day off. No missions, no training, no paperwork. The team were sat having breakfast when Tony suggested having a team day by the pool. One of the benefits of having a billionaire funding the Avengers was the pool that was built at the compound. It was a beautiful day making it the perfect choice for the team to chill and enjoy the day relaxing.
Now normally I would be so excited to spend the day relaxing, but I was nervous. The thought of being in a bikini around the rest of the team worried me. See I had scars from my time as a Hydra prisoner. Each scar a reminder of the torture they put me through. After the team saved me from my ultimate fate, I never really spoke of the things that had happened to me. Not even to my best friends Nat and Wanda.
While the rest of the team rushed off to get ready for our pool day, I stayed behind to clear up the breakfast mess, prolonging the time before I would have to face the inevitable. Whilst lost in my thought Wanda joined me at the sink. “Want me to dry?” She asked picking up the tea towel to start on the dishes. I nodded and we stood in silence whilst we worked. I could feel Wanda glance over to me every now and then as if she wanted to ask something. “You going to ask the question you seem desperate to ask or are you just flirting with me?” I joked splashing a bit of water in her direction. She giggled whilst putting the final glass away.
“Ew yuck,” She giggled before her face turned more serious. “Are you ok? You seem lost in thought this morning. Is it Nat?” I turned abruptly away from the sink looking around to make sure no one else was around. “Wanda! You can’t just bring that up in a public space. What if someone heard or Nat was here?” She smirked at my panic. “Well, is it? Are you planning on telling her your feelings anytime soon?” She asked. “Wanda, it’s not Nat. I’m fine. And no, I’ve told you before, she doesn’t feel the same way. Now we better go get ready, you look like you need the sun, you’re a little pasty there Wands” I tease walking out to my room laughing before she has time to react but I’m still able to here “I’m not pasty you little bitch”.
Once I’m ready I grab my bag and throw in a towel, my headphones and a book ready to the day. I put on my kaftan and tie it around my waste covering up my body and more importantly my scars. Once I reach the pool everyone is already there, Tony and Steve were in a deep conversation whilst dangling their feet in the water. Wanda and Peter were sat playing a card game, which I’m assuming Wanda is winning by the look on Peter’s face, and Bruce was sat with Nat both on their sun loungers.
Nat looked breath taking. In a black bikini which complimented her body perfectly, her skin glimmered in the sun. Luckily, I was able to hide my gaze behind my sun glasses, but I was very aware of the look Wanda was giving me. I knew she wasn’t going to make today easy for me. “Y/N/N, here I saved you a bed.” Nat shouted whilst pointing at the empty lounger next to her. I made my way over greeting the others as I passed, laughing as Peter sulked losing another game to Wanda.
I get comfortable and grab my book out to enjoy the sun, enjoying my spot next to the woman I was slowly falling for. “Here, want a beer?” Nat had leant over after grabbing a bud from the cool box she had next to her bed. “Thanks, someone was prepared” I said taking the beer and taking a sip. Ah, the cool liquid running down my through hit the spot perfectly. I smiled and returned to my book.
A few hours later and a very intense game of water volleyball was taking place. Tony, Peter and Bruce against Steve, Wanda and Nat. It was very entertaining to watch. Tony and Peter were not good losers and every point they lost resulted in some insult be shared between the two. “Hey Y/N, come take my place. I need a drink and we need to beat these losers.” Wanda said turning to me in the pool. “I’m good watching thanks” I say nervous about having to take my kaftan off. “Oh come on Y/N/N, join us. It’s fun!” Nat pouted as she called out to me.
“She’s obviously scared to lose, can you even swim Y/N?” Tony chuckled trying to goad me to joining. I can’t lie, it’s working. “ok give me a minute to finish this chapter.” I say hoping they might let me off. “Sounds good. We’ll take a 10 minute break and then we’ll finish beating your ass!” Nat said authoritatively splashing water at Tony as she left.
Wanda walks over with a slight frown on her face as I awkwardly fiddle on the tie of my kaftan. “What’s up Y/N? Is Tony right? You can swim right?” I laugh at the insinuation. “Of course I can swim.” She looks around and sits on the end of my lounger. “You know you can talk to me right?” I slowly nod and look up meeting her emerald eyes. “I-I’m scared to take my kaftan off.” I pause seeing a confused look on her face. “I uh, have some scars that I’ve not really talked about before.” I look down and return to fiddling with the tie. I feel her hand squeeze mine encouraging me to look up. “We all have scars Y/N. No one here is going to judge you. I won’t lie, I wish you would talk to me about something that hurt you, but none of us are going to push you.” I smile and before I can respond Tony is shout at me to join them, the others already in the pool.
I take a deep breath and stand up, I hesitantly undo my kaftan and quickly make my way into the pool. As I walk over I can feel their eyes boring into me. Nat is fixated on me and I can’t help but start to try and cover up. I make eye contact with Tony and he gives me a sympathetic smile before throwing the ball at Nat’s head. “Creeper, your serve” he shouts turning to get in position.
Nat’s POV:
Y/N had seemed a little off today. It’s been a busy few weeks with missions and training but today it felt different. She didn’t seem to want to join in with us and had sat reading her book for most of the early afternoon. I noticed that Wanda had gone over to speak with her after we convinced her to join us. When Wanda reached over and squeezed her hand, I felt a pang of jealousy. I knew nothing was going on between the two of them, but I wanted Y/N to be touching me, confiding in me.
Y/N was my best friend and recently I’ve started developing feelings for her. She is funny and intelligent, whilst being one of the most caring people I’ve met. On top of that, she’s a bad ass in the field. Being a trained assassin has its perks and I’m pretty sure I’ve been able to hide my feelings for her from everyone. But recently it’s become harder to resist pulling her in to a kiss and telling her how I feel.
Tony shouts out to Y/N to get the game going again and I notice that she seems nervous. As she takes off her kaftan I can’t help but stare. Her body is perfect, her tanned skin, complimented by her yellow bikini. Her hips swaying as she walks over. I’m very aware now that I’m staring but I just can’t seem to stop. It’s not until she gets closer that I notice some scars on her torso. I didn’t know she had them, but I had never seen her like this before. Wait, was that why she was nervous? I realise that she has started to try and hide her body with her arms. I wish she wouldn’t do that, she’s beautiful! Suddenly I felt a ball hit me on the head. “Creeper, your serve”. I shoot my head around and give Tony a death stare which I soften when he gives me a stern look. Shit, did he think I was staring at her scars. If he thinks that, does Y/N? I turn and give Y/N a big grin, “Ready to finish these losers off?” I asked causing her to laugh. “Bring it” she said and we carried on.
About an hour later we had finished and we had convincingly beat Tony, Peter and Bruce. Safe to say Tony was not happy. “I get Y/N on my team next time!” he moaned. Whilst the others got out the pool I grabbed Y/N’s arm to stop her. “Hey, Y/N can we talk quicky.” I noticed her cheeks blush slightly which made me smile. “Sure Nat, what’s up?” I gently pull her to the other side of the pool away from the others.
She smiles and meets my eyes and I can feel my heart flutter slightly. “Uh, I just wanted to let you know that I, um, I wasn’t staring earlier. Well I was but not at uh, you know….” God I’m messing this up. “Nat you’re rambling, it’s fine I get it.” As her eyes drop I can’t help but feel guilty. Come on Nat, get your shit together!
I put my fingers under her chin and lift her head to meet my gaze. “Y/N, let me try again. Yes I was staring but I was starting at you and uh more specifically your body. Not your scars.  I know that sounds creepy, but I like you Y/N. Really like you, I’m just no good at being open with my feelings.” Y/N cheeks flushed with a dark red and she gave an awkward chuckle. “It’s totally fine if you don’t feel the same, I just didn’t want you to think that I was judging your scars.” I feel her take my hands under the water. “You don’t know how happy I am to hear that. I really like you too.” I can’t stop the wide smile appear on my face.
“Can I kiss you?” I ask pushing a wet strand of hair off her face. “You better.” I pull her closer and put my hands around her neck as she wraps her arms around my waist. I lean in and lock our lips together pulling her closer into a deep and passionate kiss. “Took you both long enough!” Wanda yelled whilst the others started laughing. Pulling away I look at her beautiful face. Taking in every detail.
“You never need to hide yourself from me. You’re beautiful and your scars are part of you and your story. I know you probably don’t want to talk about it, but when you’re ready, I want to hear the story behind all of them. I want to know everything about you.” In response she pulls me back into a passionate kiss wrapping her hands in my hair. I swipe my tongue across her bottom lip asking for access which she quickly grants letting off a quite moan in my mouth. Losing awareness of where we are, we’re quickly pulled back to reality by Tony. “Get a room lovebirds! No sex in my pool!” I laugh pulling Y/N closer. Whispering in her ear. “He makes a good point. Want to join me?” She lets out a giggle but husks in response “couldn’t think of anything I’d rather do right now. Though I definitely want to break that rule someday.” Wow that was hot. I grab her hand, intertwining our fingers whilst directing her back to my room where I planned to show her how much I loved her body.
