I imagine vaggie finally tells charlie about her past, About heavan, about Adam and lute. And Charlie (now looking a bit more demonic after the finally) is like,

“Im going to kill her,” but vaggie is very against it, since the fight they had vaggie tried to forgive lute, take Charlie’s advise and turn a new leaf but lute wasn’t having any of it. And now lute just wants to hurt vaggie. So she targets dear Charlie.

So lute and Charlie are on sight, and have hot fights… and both want to kiss Emily and vaggie

Hello!!! Ahh you’re obsessed with it?? really?? 😭😭 that makes me so happy to be honest. There’s a lot more asks I’m working on rn that give a lot more information, they should be out over the next few days.

Back to the main question..

I constantly felt like there was more stuff that could be done with the creepypasta’s other than shoving them in a mansion and saying, “it’s funny, make it work!”

It was genuinely just me trying to make a creepypasta world that made sense in my head, I didn’t really have much inspiration for the AU itself.

I will say, Ethel Cains album “Preachers Daughter” , helped my ideas involving the “aesthetic” and some character backstories (Toby).

But, for my depictions of characters?

Absolutely, lots of inspiration!

I get inspiration from my favourite movies and true crime cases!!

For example:

You might notice my Slenderman is similar to Penneywise from IT, he feeds off fear and has a cycle.

Jeff The Killer has a similar personality to Patrick Hockstetter (IT) and Alex DeLarge (Clockwork Orange), his killing style is similar to Art The Clown from Terrifier.

Toby Rogers personality is based around Chucky’s (Child’s play) personality! His demeanour is loosely based on Man In The Mask/Scarecrow (The Strangers.)

David Newton is based off Charles Manson. His cult is similar to Heavans Gate (the ascension).

Hazbin Hoetl 5-6

Spoiler warning!

Not gonna lie, at first I was cringing a bit at Lucifer. I was expecting him the have, like, grace and baddie energy. but he's talking to himself pretending to show off rubber ducks to a crowd.

And of all the potential dynamics he and Al could have had, competing father figures was NOT on my mind at all dude. Al? Dad?

But, I watched these last two episodes a couple (okay maybe several) times over and, it's really growing on me. It was definitely the predeveloped impressions getting in the way of really enjoying these characters. Even the irks I had about Alastor aren't really irks anymore, especially with "Dad beat Dad having much better animation and a banger number for Al (seriously wtf he's horrific in this episode)--

"Could you butt out of my song?"

"Your song? I started this!"

"I'm singing it, I'll finish it!"

Before, I was seeing it as how well they pull off my (and arguably the long simmering fandom's) idea of these characters instead of how well the characters as they actually are are told. So many people thought this show would be a super serious deep dive on Christianity and commentary on religion itself. But at this point, it really feels like Heavan and Hell are metaphores. They focus a lot more on personal issues like relationships, coping mechanisms, flaws like nievety, displaced senses of self worth, etc.

Charlie's idea of what "gets people into heaven" is naive and brochure-like. Adam gave a literal list of three items that seemed overly simplistic (and turned out to be wrong).

But at least they had some idea about it. The higher angels themselves had no clue whatsoever, their only concern was preserving the status quo. And even when things are called to question they fall back to old ways just bc they're scared to change anything. Sera didn't have any malice toward Hell, she just doesn't want to make things worse, having Angels fall, have Hell attack Earth or Heaven, have more evil spread, by changing things.

Getting a better idea of what all of this is about makes it so much easier to appreciate things I initially was put off by. It just has a context that it fits into now.

Lucifer being this disillusioned depressed dork with "yeaaaah, No." energy fits into what we've seen of heavenly culture (uncanny innocence, annoying teen pop-culture energy, being perfectionist yet blind to their own flaws)

And The "Hell's Great Dad" song really broke the ice, especially when Mimzy busted in singing ITS MEEEEEEE-- like

Love her. I wasn't expecting to see Mimzy AT ALL since she was removed from the main cast. And after seeing people talk about her and how they were wondering about her, it definitely felt like popping in the way she did was a response to that. Even I was wondering bc you don't just drop a former love interest for a character like Alastor, but still have them show up in the pilot-- I wanted to see Mimzy lol.

Like, im sorry but I felt like she was pointing at me personally, not the other characters, and that was hilarious.

It's so random but doesn't feel out of place at all somehow. The tensions were already super high, so a random screaming woman busting in with even higher energy is like-- wtf?? :'D??

She was a blast the entire time tho, and actually tied into the reoccurring theme of only reaching out to someone so they can do something for you.

It also definitely pinched a side of Alastor, irritating that he does apparently NEED to be there, there's some obligation he actually has to the hotel, or at the very least some stakes to not holding things together, not bc he defended the hotel but bc he specifically says "I can't have that here" , he also doesn't refute the claims Mimzy makes about him. Al clearly adores her and isn't surprised by her antics at all yet still tells her to leave. With the mention of Alastor's "leash" in the same episode BC of Mimzy was just such a great way to use her character. A fun entrance, thematic relevance, and a great plot device to reveal more about Alastor's situation and motives.

Like I said, at first the food tasted cold. I was thinking to myself "Eh, nothing really that crazy ig" but the more I watch the episodes and get over whatever my expectations were, the more I enjoy what's there.

Like, at first I was thinking, "Oh no Lucy's another akward dork, a normie, a loooooserr" (not that being an akward dork or a normie is bad but those were the vibes I was giving off, I'm sorry)

But I keep watching "Hell's Greatest Dad" and NOW it's like

LOOK AT HIM< LOOK AT HIM GO

Like, he's fugghing adorable with the "WAP BAP BOOM"

the puppets and the circus imagery, and just the innocent unmalicious enthusiasm. He's stumbling around over barely knowing his daughter and is now sprinting to make up for being so absent-- and even that absence is implied to be due to chronic depression and pining, missing heaven and having to live in hell forever, not only being the one who supposedly created it by accident, but tried and failed to fix it, even having his own theme park ripped off by a deadly Sin. The show calls it out bluntly, but despite his cheery tone and, yeaaah, no, yeaaah, no" attitude, they did a great job showing that his depression manifested in detachment and disinterest. It sucks for the people it effects but it also sucks to be the one who dropped the ropes in your relationships.

So seeing him brjghtenup and glow over just helping his Charlie put her hotel together was great. He feels useful and wanted again. And imo it's a double edge sword as well if Lucy feels like he has to be useful to be a decent dad.

So, idk. I guess I do want to see how he handles trying to be in Charlie's life again, especially since, at this point Alastor knows and has supported her more than he ever has-- despite the rough beginning and the mockery. (Also Lilith's face being faded out was sus af)

I'm convinced that in Al's case it's definitely not from a genuine place, at least, we still have no reason to believe it is. He was glaring at Lucy as soon as he walked in, and the nearly every comment on how great his relationship with Charlie is was also a jab to piss off Lucy instead of a genuine expression.

A performance, in short.

Still, the fact that someone who's only just met Charlie has a better relationship with her than her father has got to suck to realize if you're the father.

Also-- the scene at the club-- I was pretty mixed about it, like, doing drugs, itself isn't bad-- it can be unhealthy and it can put others at risk if you're resigning your cognizance and self control for the sake of coping with stress-- so it can very easily enable bad things, especially if you become addicted, so,imo is pretty wreckless and definitely a vice. But it doesn't make you a bad person.

But then again angels also seem to think premarital sex and promiscuity is bad too. (Promiscuity puts you at risk for disease, and like drugs can be driven by vices, but, again, the thing itself isn't bad and can still be a healthy practice when it comes from a healthy place)

I'm genuinely proud of Angel for actually growing though, seeing him take care of Nifty and protect her from Val got me on the "Fuck em up" energy. It's always great to see a group of friends watching out for eachother when they know there's a danger to what they're doing-- ESPECIALLY when one of them is new to it all. That's why if you ARE going to do drugs or drink or whatever, definitely don't do it alone or without someone you trust with your safety.

And also never feel like you have to do those things to maintain relationships, some people feel like it would be an insult to imply they dont trust someone or just for being disinterested in their offer. And, frankly there are people who will prey on that.

That was just a great scene. It had some flaws, but was still great.

Refining the Shitennou civilian name in my fanfiction because now that I know even just a smidgen of Japanese, I realize how lazy the original names I've given them were... It's one thing to play with puns, it's another thing when I didn't bother with research and end up giving them FAMILY NAMES for first names. LMAO (I feel so embarrassed once I realized this I want to smack my old self so hard on the head.)

Here's what I've landed on for the new names. I'm keeping the live-action actor's family name for Shitennou's family name. But the first names are now changed. It would still play on their hair colour pronunciation-wise (kuro - black, shiro - white, aka - red, kiiro - yellow), but the new first names will go beyond that and their Kanji will actually be meaningful.

Kunzite: 窪寺玄翔 (Kobodera Kuroto)

玄 (kuro) - Black color. Black with a reddish tinge. Dark. The color of heaven. Deep. Distant. Far away.

翔 (to) - Fly. Spread your wings and fly. To fly high in the sky.

I could've just land with "Kurou", but I looked up Kuroto and saw the meaning of "翔". Coupled with "玄" meaning the colour of heavan and "far away", I wanted to use this name as a tribute to Kobodera Akira. :'(

Zoisite: 遠藤志郎 (Endou Shirou)

志 (shi) - Aspiration. To aim to be. Where the mind aims. Compassion. Sign. To remember. To record. A gift for thanks or appreciation.

郎 (rou) - Male. Men. Young men. A word that refers broadly to boys. A retainer

I felt choosing "志" fits Zoisite's character given the compassion he showed for Mamoru and Usagi at the end in PGSM, and he's the one most focused on remembering the past life.

Nephrite: 松本赤人 (Matsumoto Akato)

赤 (aka) - Red color. Nothing. Bare. Sincerity. The equator. Communism.

人 (to) - People. Human beings. Humanity. Every single person. People. Grown-ups. Adults. Personality. Character. A word used to count people.

I wanted to use the word "人" in Nephrite's name to referencing that Nephrite was the only Shitennou to be given a civilian identity in PGSM and had a character arc in his human form. As well, combined with "赤" meaning sincerity and bare, it worked well with how I see Nephrite in this second life - an honest and candid man not afraid to speak his mind and share his feelings (especially with Ami)

(Also I find it funny it literally can also mean "red man" hahahahah)

Jadeite: 増尾輝狼 (Masuo Kirou)

輝 (ki) - Shining. Glittering. Brilliant. Splendid.

狼 (rou) - Wolf. A mammal of the canine family. A metaphor for something as ferocious as a wolf. To be frightened. To be dismayed.

I chose "輝" for "ki" because of what I want to achive with Jadeite's character in Echoes of Time. "狼" (wolf) being canine to me attributes to his undying loyalty as we see in PGSM, and his ferocity when defending his comrade and those he chooses to dedicate himself to protect.

Novel idea spawned from a weird dream I had.

The future. Men know for a fact that God exists. God plays a part in the human judiciary system. I stood before him, a condemned criminal, guilty of dozens of murders. God has an option for me. I can make it into paradise if I agree to save someone else's life. He gives me a preview of the hell that I made for myself and it isn't pretty. I agree to his terms, but there's a catch: in order to secure a heavenly path for myself in doing God this service, I have to die. Also, I can only "whisper" and only the once. How is this accomplished? I will be sent to inhabit the mind of somebody who died on a specific day and my task will be to make sure that they keep somebody else from dying by sacrificing myself. I simply have to be willing to wait and whisper in the mind of that single person so that they give their life to protect someone else when they are in danger of being killed. What happens?: I find myself storming the beach of Normandy on D-Day. My assignment, protect Stan Lee and keep him from being killed (even though he didn't storm the beach and worked in the signal corps - what can I say, it was a dream). The moment comes, I whisper, and I enter into what I think will be heavanly bliss. The result: Stan Lee lives, but because I was a horrible person in life I am allowed only to enter into the lowest possible tier of Heavan. My self-sacrifice wan't really mine and while God lets in anyone who sacrifices themselves, mine still wasn't a true sacrifice and it didn't merit the reward that such things usually do. No eternal torment, but not eternal reward either.

Color Seminar Thougts💭

In the color seminar it struck me that of course that color changes from ways of viweing it. On a screen and to live viewing a artwork but even then it can be altered by light and shadow and possibly mood.

I use alot of color palette works in my projects as i use photoshop a bit and the marquee tool is a handy application to get the feel of a scene or art piece to distinguish the general vibe. (See those below this entry)

The use of color to distinguish intent in the eveyday lives of people like signs on roads being yellow as that catches the eye immediatly than any other color or roads being black tarmac so white has to be used on lines on the road as a contrast.

Color is massivly important in the lives of artists and to have such easy access to color in paint and digital art is something new to this generation of artists.

Demon Slayer AU

Explanation: me and my best friend (@zombie-catzz ) have this helluva boss rp. It's oc x canon, so if you're not comfortable with this, then I suggest you do not read this. This is just one of the many (and I mean many) aus that we have created. This rp has been going on for over a year now, and we've worked on and built the story since it's started. This is the Demon Slayer AU, based on the anime. I'm the only one thats watched this. This is my ocs pov mostly, but I write in third person. Let's get on with the story!!

Chapter one: "Mom...?"

Zakaria steps through the forest, a paper in hand. Their ears were flat on their head, and their fluffy cat tail was wrapped around their waist, like a belt. They were puzzled. Their mom wanted them to visit, but they didn't know why. She told them she missed them in her letter and gave them an address, which was obscure.

"Mom's handwriting doesn't look like this," Zakaria realizes, their fingers digging into the paper. "It's much neater."

They began walking towards the house, the snow crunching under their shoes. They weren't from here. They lived in a different part of Japan. As the approached the house, they noticed things were different. The flowers she took care of year round were dead, which was strange. Winter had just started a few days ago, meaning she would've taken the flowerpots inside by now. Windows were open. Her mom hated bugs year round, so it was strange that the windows were still open. They grabbed the icy doorknob, turning it and stepping inside.

Immediately, Zakaria was greeted by an awful smell. They pinched their nose with their fingers, gagging slightly. The smell was horrible, like rotting meat. They could hear the buzzing of flies. They walked into the kitchen, opening the chemical cabinet and grabbing a bottle of air freshener. They sprayed around the kitchen, unplugging their nose and giving the air a whiff. It didn't help. The cirtusy air freshener only mixed with the horrible smell, making it worse. They felt like they were going to vomit. They walked out of the kitchen and over to the staircase. They walked up it, making sure to avoid the third step from the top. It had always been broken and creaked when you stepped on it. When they got to that step, it was much more broken than before. They raised an eyebrow.

"What happened to the step?" Zakaria asked themselves, stepping over it and into the second floor hallway.

The smell had gotten worse. They gagged once again, feeling like they were really going to hurl. They walk into their mothers room. The first thing spotted was their mother on the floor, a large gash in her stomach. Their eyes filled with tears, their body beginning to quiver.

"M-Mom..?" They whispered, mostly to themselves. They sprinted over, sliding onto their knees.

Flies and maggots surrounded her body. Her stomach, liver, lungs, and heart were missing, but pieces were seen on the floor near her. Her ribs had been torn out. They were on the floor, cracks all in them, across the room. She had been mauled. Maybe it was a bear or some type of animal? It couldn't be. Bears would be hibernating right now.

"Who did this to you?" Zakaria shouted to the air, the screams ripping through their throat.

Tears began filling their eyes, angry tears, but also sorrowful tears. Angry because they wished they could've been here. Maybe if they were, she would still be here, but sorrowful because they loved their mom. She would do anything for them, and they shares the same feeling. They took deep breaths, trying to calm down enough to speak. They touched her cold, limp hand, pulling it to their heart.

"I'm sorry I didn't visit earlier, mom.." Zakaria whispered to her, hoping to God she hears in Heavan. "I'll miss you."

Zakaria dragged her body down the stairs. They saw what looked like a blood handprint on the doorknob. Their eyebrows furrowed, touching it. It was already dry. This clearly had happened a while ago. They looked at the window closely. The window wasn't open, it was shattered.

Botanical Rythms - 2d Art

For this project I chose Claire’s song ‘Heavan’ for musical inspiration and used a piece of a bush to apply the ink to the papers. I started my composing my background by taping various pieces of paper to the wall in a geometric way to juxtaposition to whirls I wanted to create to go with the song. This song is about grief and trying to let people go so i tried to depict the phases a person goes through during that process. I listened to this song a lot while creating this piece, and incorporated what the song meant to me. I included several sets of eyes and distorted faces to represent the feelings of grief.

I'm sitting at home (currently at my parent's for pandemic reasons) working on an essay and i just realised that I'm basically in an ambience noice video. I'm sitting next to the fireplace.
