narcissists abusing children and vulnerable people: no reaction from other narcissists, perfectly normal and acceptable, nothing to get upset about, not worthy of mentioning
abused children and victims speaking out against the abuse: Hey now. Are you aware that you are evil and hurting mentally ill people everywhere? Come on now. Surely you understand that everything you're saying is causing massive amounts of harm to everyone existing. After all, who is responsible for stigma against narcissistic abuse, you who are abused by them, or the narcissists who are doing the abuse? You of course. Change your language and behaviour immediately. Hey everyone cancel this evil villain trying to hurt mentally ill people. How dare you imply people who abused you and are narcissists are doing the narcissistic abuse or that it is a real thing. How dare you act like all of the data on it and all other victims are experiencing an unique and real type of abuse that has a name. You are the problem, and you should feel ashamed and educate yourself on mental illness. Now, let narcissists abuse in peace and know your place.

Scary Sunset.
I'm concepting things way outta order in this story, but I'm sure you can piece things together. Context is for a storybeat where, after defeating and capturing Adagio (thus having all three sirens in her possession), Sunset enacts her revenge plot to release the sirens on Canterlot as Thea discovers she's been manipulated. In a confrontation, the two scuffle and fight over the siren orbs while Sunset struggles with her conflicting wants and emotions.

poseidon’s relationship with percy is something that is so personal to me. love so flawed and complicated, so wary and tentative. your father is here. he’s always been here. he’s not sure what to make of you but he is proud of you. you’re not sure what to make of him either. you’re sally jackson’s son, but you have your father’s eyes. you are the sea as much as he is. trust him. trust yourself. breathe. the sea does not like to be restrained.

Richard Gadd is ten times the man I am because if I shared my trauma and I saw people calling me the villain and debating on what I should have done and calling my actions bad (even though I already acknowledged my role in what happened and also that guilt over being an imperfect victim is part of what kept me from saying anything at the time) I would go fucking insane and start killing

just in case you're wondering how bad antisemitism is online by now: my friend had to take down the memorial post she made on IG for her dad and stepmum (who died less than a week ago) bc people were spamming it with "free palestine" and "two less zionists is a good thing" comments

Can I be honest even when dc tries to demonize Robin/kid Jason and make him out to be this super violent kid it does not have the intended effect they think it does. Like oh this traumatized kid still reeling from a lifetime of abuse is kind of violent and lashes out emotionally? Ok? Should we nail him to the cross???(dc’s answer is yes apparently). That guy deserved to get pushed down the stairs idgaf

the way that nobody noticing, for who knows how many years, that jason broke out of his coffin implies that jason's grave was rarely, if at all, visited, and when it was, nobody in that family of brilliant detectives stayed long enough to notice something was off

i think trans-affirming cisfeminism's problem is that it views trans people as a way of analyzing cis gender relations, so trans women are going from the status of cis men to cis women, & trans men vice-versa. there is no appreciation for "trans" as its own status, because that would require viewing transphobia as something the patriarchy does on purpose instead of like. something it trips into on its quest to oppress cis women exclusively. and this is also why by and large feminism (including trans feminists) has fucked sucked at talking about NB/GQ people's experiences without binarizing them

“When toxic behavior is portrayed as romantic, it’s problematic. When problematic behavior is portrayed as a character flaw for a character to work through, it’s good storytelling.”
Katsuki Bakugou, my friends.
His behavior was problematic but never once portrayed as romantic at the same time. Katsuki said and did awful abusive things, and he also chose to be better when he was given the chance. If you’re still hung up on chapter 1 Katsuki now then I don’t think you’ve been reading the same story I have.
I can’t speak for everyone, but I’m not shipping Izuku with an irredeemable abuser. I’m shipping him with his most important person. His narrative foil. His childhood friend who made awful mistakes and then made it right when he saw he was wrong. The person Izuku looks up to and strives to emulate, despite their past struggles.
Bakudeku is so good because of how flawed these boys are, and how hard they’ve worked to get over it, and how much they matter to each other after it all

time with complex trauma is like. i need to do everything all at once and if i don't i'm a failure, even if there's nothing to do. three months ago feels like yesterday but i can hardly remember yesterday anyway. i'm running out of time. for what? i don't know. i need everything to slow down but my life is so stagnant. i can't go to sleep because the day can't end, but i need the day to end or i'll go insane. i'm constantly worrying about the future but it feels like i have no future. i'm running out of time. for what? i don't know. time has no meaning but every second is the end of the world.
or is this just me?

I think by far the most disturbing thing that has come out of the more extreme parts of the redpill sphere is the belief that as soon as a girl menstruates she’s no longer considered a child and getting her pregnant is not immoral.
I saw a video about a 12 year old girl who was groomed into marriage by a man more than twice her age and got pregnant, and the comments were full of grown men saying shit like “if she can bare a child then she isn’t a child therefore it’s not pedophilia” and that it should be completely legalized.
They want to steal little girls childhoods away and ruin their entire lives for a fetish. They do not see them as children the way they see boys as children, they are merely just sex objects to be used to fulfill men’s sick desires.

You simply do not have to go full pelt into terrorist and atrocity apologia to “prove” that you care about Palestinians.
You simply do not have to do that.
If you care about human life and dignity as much as you profess to, you fucking hypocrites, you wouldn’t be sucking a terrorist organisation’s dick so hard.
Do you actually, honestly think that Hamas gives one solitary, single shit about the welfare of Palestinians? When their leaders are literal billionaires with enough money ten times over to have demonstrably improved the lives of their population for decades?
Absolute bricks for brains, honestly.

I think one of the most realistic parts about Baby Reindeer (2024) is how much Donny downplays the abuse he faces
I know everyone wants to hate on him for being “stupid” and blame him for everything that happened because yes from an outsiders perspective he made questionable choices but isn’t that what HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE DO?
I know so many people who’ve “played nice” or tried to downplay abusive behavior. You try and tell yourself “It wasn’t that bad”, or that it was just some crazy experience that should be forgotten. It seems so much easier to stay silent and just try to move on.
You don’t wanna start problems
You don’t wanna be mean
You don’t wanna be the bad guy
