Do you ever think about the fact that Will uses his glasses as his protection, a way to keep people at an arm's length but he never wears it in private with Hannibal. In fact during his first therapy session, he uses physical distance as a way to indicate he isn't comfortable or open to the idea of therapy, but not necessarily closed to the idea of talking to Hannibal because he's not wearing his glasses. During their second session, seemingly within a few minutes that physical distance is slowly closed, and they're both laughing and smiling despite the morose topic. In conclusion, they make me insane.

rq if your wondering, bluebeard is an old childrens story about a man with a bluebeard who everyone thinks is weird, but he’s super rich, so he has had like 7 wives (i think). and basically he kills his each of his wives soon after he marries them until the 8th(??) who figures out how to outsmart him and so on (it’s a hard story to explain i already hat to write an essay on it before leave me alone)

but anyways the scene isn’t just implying that they’re both hannibals wives, but that will really knows hannibal while bedelia doesnt, and that bedelia will one day be killed by hannibal and will won’t be. it’s a really cool scene to me because i enjoy the story of bluebeard and analyzing hannibal, but the fandom seems to analyze every scene except this one for no reason????
