Yay you’re back! I feel these prompts are gonna be sad and/or wreck me sooo I’ll request a semi happy one
10. “Where have you been?!  I’ve been trying to get a hold of you for three hours!”
Maybe Chloe and her mini Chloe finally left Chicago after the rumors of cheating and only Aubrey knew but now can’t locate them que Beca losing her shit trying to find her Redheads only for the Beales to rock up at her LA home where they feel most safe
Thanks so much for sending this!
Is this good? I don't know. I'm feeling rusty but glad to be writing again.
10. “Where have you been?!  I’ve been trying to get a hold of you for three hours!”
Prompt taken from here.

-
“Oh my god, where have you been?! I’ve been trying to get a hold of you for hours!”
Beca winced and pulled the phone away from her ear as Aubrey’s shrill voice threatened to deafen her.
“I was in the studio,” Beca replied, frowning as she crossed the parking lot to her car. “My phone was off. What’s going on?”
“Chloe’s left him,” Aubrey said. “Like actually finally left his cheating ass, and now I can’t get hold of her.”
Beca stopped walking. “Are you serious?”
“Yes! I’m surprised Chicago isn’t blowing up your phone right now, no one knows where she is.”
Beca scoffed and quickened her pace to her car. “That douchebag doesn’t have my number,” Beca said. She got into her car and switched the call over to her bluetooth. “Tell me what happened.”
“She called me last night saying she caught him cheating again, and that she was done,” Aubrey said. “And now her phone is off, and Chicago has called me like 50 times since this morning demanding I tell him where she is.”
“She didn’t tell you where she was going?” Beca asked, trying to take in what Aubrey was telling her. Her stomach was twisting as she pulled out onto the highway and she tried to think of where Chloe might have gone.
“No,” Aubrey said. “I thought she might have called you.”
“I’ve not heard from her in a few days,” Beca said. She began chewing her bottom lip as her mind ran through every potential scenario of what might have happened. “She has Sarah with her, right?”
“Of course, Chloe wouldn’t have left her behind,” Aubrey said. “That’s what he’s so mad about. I don’t think he really cares if Chloe leaves him or not, but she took his daughter with her.”
“Have you tried her parents?” Beca asked, thinking it pretty unlikely that she’d have gone to them, but not impossible.
It was Aubrey’s turn to scoff now. “No,” Aubrey said, “but there’s no way she’d have gone there. They weren’t even at the engagement party.”
“No, I know,” Beca said. “But maybe she’d have gone there because no one would expect her to.”
“If we haven’t heard by tonight I’ll call them, but I don’t want to get them involved if I can help it,” Aubrey said.
Beca reached her exit on the highway and pulled off, and then drove in silence for a few minutes as both her and Aubrey tried to figure out what to do next.
“She’ll be okay, right?” Aubrey asked, voicing their shared concern for the first time.
“Yeah,” Beca said, hoping her voice didn’t betray the fear she was feeling. “He wouldn’t have… Chicago, he wouldn’t have done anything to her, would he?”
“No,” Aubrey said. “I don’t think so. He’s an asshole, but he’s not a monster. And besides, he isn’t that good of an actor, and I’ve never heard anyone sound as pissed off as he did on the phone.”
“Yeah, you’re right,” Beca said. “I’m sure she’ll get in touch soon. I bet she just turned her phone off so he couldn’t reach her and that she’ll call us when she can.” Beca reached her street and slowed as she prepared to pull into her drive. She frowned when she saw a vaguely familiar car parked outside her house. “Actually,” Beca said, “hold that thought.”
“What?”
“I think she’s here,” Beca said, feeling a wave of relief crash over her. She pulled into her drive just as the driver’s door from the other car opened. “Yeah, she’s outside my house. I’ll call you in a little bit, okay?”
“Sure,” Aubrey said, sounding as relieved as Beca felt. “Tell her she’s a pain in the ass and that I’m sending her the medical bill for the stomach ulcer she gave me.”
“Will do,” Beca said. She said her goodbyes and hung up her phone before getting out of her car.
Chloe was standing by her car, a look of hesitation on her face, a sleeping toddler in her arms.
Beca thought she looked tired. There were dark circles under her eyes that were red and puffy.
“Did you drive through the night?” Beca asked.
“Pretty much,” Chloe replied. “I should have called.”
Beca shook her head. “It’s okay. Aubrey filled me in, she’s been pretty worried.”
“I’ll call her,” Chloe said.
“Later,” Beca said. “It’s like a million degrees out here and you look like you’re about to drop.” She gestured for Chloe to follow her into the house.
“You said Aubrey filled you in?” Chloe asked, all but collapsing onto Beca’s sofa, her daughter still held protectively in her arms.
“Yeah, she gave me the gist,” Beca said. “I’m so sorry, Chlo’.”
“I feel like an idiot,” Chloe said. “This is the third time he’s done this and I… Why did I keep forgiving him?”
“You were trying to keep your family together,” Beca said. “If anyone’s the idiot here it’s him. What kind of moron cheats on Chloe Beale for crying out loud.”
Chloe let out a laugh which quickly turned into a sob, which quickly woke up Sarah who joined in with her Mom’s crying.
“I’m sorry,” Chloe said, wiping her eyes while she attempted to soothe her crying daughter. “I’m sorry for this, for just turning up here without a word.”
“Don’t be sorry,” Beca said. “I’m glad you knew you could come here.”
“It shouldn’t be for more than a few days, just while I figure out what to do next,” Chloe said. Sarah stopped crying and Chloe turned her around on her lap. “Don’t you want to say hello to Auntie Beca?”
Sarah wasted no time in wriggling off her Mom’s lap and toddling over to where Beca sat, her arms outstretched. “Auntie Beca!”
“Hi sweetheart,” Beca said, smiling and eagerly scooping her up. “When did you get so big, huh?”
“I free,” she said, holding up three fingers.
“No way,” Beca said. “You must be at least fourteen by now.”
Sarah giggled and slid off Beca’s lap so she could continue wandering around the room.
“You can stay as long as you want, Chloe,” Beca said, turning her attention back to her friend. “I mean that. I have the room, and I have the money, and you know I could use the company.”
“I can’t ask you to-”
“You aren’t asking,” Beca said, cutting her off. “I’m offering. In fact, I’m not even offering, I’m asking. Please stay here for as long as you would like to.”
Chloe sank back against the sofa as if a weight had been lifted. The long night and day of driving had finally caught up to her and she suddenly didn’t know if she’d be able to keep her eyes open.
“Thank you,” Chloe said.
“You don’t need to thank me,” Beca replied. “Can I get you anything? Food, or water, or anything?”
Chloe shook her head. “Can I just have five minutes?”
“Of course,” Beca said. “Sarah, do you want a snack?”
“Uh huh,” Sarah said, handing Beca the TV remote she’d found. “You put on the princess?”
“Sure,” Beca said. “Uh, which princess?”
“With the seagulls,” Sarah said, helpfully.
“Uh…”
“She wants Frozen,” Chloe mumbled as she rested her head on the arm of the sofa.
“Oh, of course she does,” Beca said. “Come on, munchkin, let’s go get you a snack and then we can watch Frozen.”
They spent the next few hours in relative calm as Sarah ate apple slices and watched Frozen. She squealed with excitement during Olaf’s song where he danced with seagulls for a few seconds, and Beca laughed as she realised this moment had stood out to Sarah as the most significant of the film.
Chloe dozed for most of it until she excused herself to finally call Chicago.
She returned after the movie had finished with her eyes looking considerably more bloodshot.
“Mommy,” Sarah said, reaching for her as soon as she returned.
“Hey baby,” Chloe said, scooping her up.
“Everything okay?” Beca asked.
Chloe shrugged. “He’s furious, but he’s agreed to give me space for a few weeks.”
Beca pulled a face. “Can he really blame you for leaving?”
“He doesn’t care about me,” Chloe said. “He’s mad that I took his daughter, which I guess is fair. He was a crappy partner, but he’s a good dad.” She sighed and kissed the top of Sarah’s head. “Once he’d calmed down he said he’d come out to L.A. in a few weeks and we could start discussing custody and child support and that kinda thing.” She let out another sigh and checked the time, wondering when this long day would ever end.
Eventually, after unpacking the car, eating dinner, bathing Sarah, and putting her to bed, Chloe was finally able to sit down with Beca and a much needed glass of wine.
“I’m sorry you’re having to go through all this, Chlo’,” Beca said. “He’s… he’s such an idiot.”
“I feel like I’m the idiot, to be honest.”
“No way,” Beca said. “He was engaged to the best person in the world, has the most incredible daughter, and he threw all that away because he wanted to get his dick wet?”
Chloe just shrugged. She had no answer that she could give Beca, and she was too tired to try and think of one.
“If I had his life…” Beca trailed off and shook her head. “I wouldn’t give it up for anything.”
“I didn’t realise that was something you wanted,” Chloe said. Beca shrugged, and Chloe tapped a finger against the stem of her wine glass before she brought it to her lips. “If you want a family, maybe me staying isn’t the best idea.”
Beca frowned. “What makes you say that?”
“I just mean it might not be easy to like, date or whatever when you’ve got a single Mom and her kid living in your house.”
Beca shook her head. “That isn’t what I meant,” she said.
Chloe took another drink of wine. “What did you mean?”
Beca suddenly felt like they’d waded into uncharted waters as the conversation took a turn towards a place she never thought they’d go.
She took a breath and another drink of wine.
“You know what I meant,” Beca said, avoiding eye-contact.
There was a long pause in which Chloe felt her chest get tight. “Still?”
Beca nodded. “It never went away,” she said.
The silence stretched on, and Beca wished she could take her words back. She hadn’t meant for this to come out on Chloe’s first night. She hadn’t meant for it to come out at all.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn't have said anything,” Beca said. “I’m gonna go to bed and tomorrow we can just forget this whole conversation happened.”
“Don’t,” Chloe said, her hand resting on Beca’s arm. “Don’t go. Don’t apologise.”
Beca held her breath and waited for Chloe to continue.
“Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if I’d kissed you instead of Chicago that night,” Chloe said. “And I wonder what would have happened if I’d left him when you told me how you felt that night before I moved out. I… I think about that all the time, Beca.”
“Me too,” Beca said. “But if you’d done that, you wouldn't have Sarah.” She cleared her throat before she continued. “You were right to pick him. I wasn’t ready to be the person you needed. I was too focused on my career, I had complete tunnel vision and everything else just fell to the wayside. It would have ruined us as a couple and as friends. I wasn’t ready to be a good partner then.”
Chloe swallowed, and her hand moved down Beca’s arm and gripped her hand.
“What about now?” She asked.
Beca let out a soft laugh as tears sprang to her eyes. “I think I can do it now. I think… I know I want to do it now.”
Chloe pressed her forehead against Beca’s as tears filled her eyes.
“I can’t rush into anything,” she said.
“I know,” Beca replied. “I wouldn’t want you to. I don’t want to be a rebound.”
“Never,” Chloe said, her grip on Beca’s hand tightened.
“If we do this, I want to do it right,” Beca said.
“We can wait until the dust settles. Wait until Sarah has settled. Take it slowly, and do it properly,” Chloe said.
“Just… tell me when you’re ready,” Beca said, pulling back so she could look at Chloe properly.
Chloe smiled and pressed a kiss against Beca’s cheek. “I will,” she said.

random thought, but if the human inhabitants of earth c are all ectobiologically "quasi-descendants" of the eight human players, wouldn't that mean that (considering it's in the strilonde genepool) albinism is *much* more common on earth c than irl?

i’m assuming ‘darkness day’ is much further into the story then ‘oh, you shouldn’t have’? since brandley seems to have been there for a while in it
Yep, it's much further, and it's not necessarily canon, more of a 'what if' scenario!

The Timeline Shifted, and Sam is conflicted...
So! A Timeline Shift occurs one day (thanks Barry) while Team Phantom are in the Ghost Zone helping Clockwork with a few things. As they are going back to the Human World, Clockwork gives them another cryptic piece of advice.
"Unfortunately the world will not be the same as it once was. Samantha, you will find this especially Jarring, but keep an open mind."
Before they can ask what happened, he shoves them through their own respective Portals, and Sam lands in an Alleyway in Gotham.
She is confused, but a green glowing sticky note appears in front of her telling her 'go to the nearby park, you will see what I was talking about'
She walks over, and sees a lady with Green Skin tending to some flowers. Her head is covered by a Hat, so Sam can't see her face.
They strike up a Conversation, and Sam finds that this Lady is great. She loves taking care of Plants, she hates it when Companies pollute the Earth, and she even has Plant Powers just like Sam!
It occurs to her that she never asked for the Lady's name, so she asks and the lady lifts her Hat to reveal her face. And Sam freezes.
"Oh, sorry for not introducing myself. My name is Pamela Isley."
Thats her Mom's Maiden Name.
This lady has her Mom's Name.
This is her Mom.
Oooooooohhhhhhhhhh shit.

1. “Baby, please respond.” PLEEEEEEASE 🙏🙏🙏 Love your writing so much x
Thank you for sending this prompt! I'm sorry for the delay and I hope you like it!
1. “Baby, please respond.”
Prompt taken from here.
Read on AO3
-
8:41 pm. Chloe: Beca, please reply, or answer your phone, or something! You were supposed to be home hours ago, I’m going out of my mind here!
9:04 pm. Chloe: I am this close to calling the cops. Please just say something, just let me know you’re okay.
9:25 pm. Chloe: Baby, please respond.
Chloe’s phone vibrating in her hand made her jump so much she almost dropped it, and she clicked the green answer button before she’d even registered who it was that was calling.
“Beca?!”
“No,” came a defeated voice on the other end. “It’s Aubrey.”
Chloe’s heart sank, and she pulled her phone away from her ear to see Aubrey’s name on the screen.
“I take it you still haven’t heard anything?” Aubrey asked when Chloe didn’t respond.
“No,” Chloe said. “I don’t know what to do, I called her office and they said she left work hours ago. Her phone is just going straight to voicemail.”
“I’m gonna come over,” Aubrey said.
“You don’t have to,” Chloe said.
“Look, please don’t freak out when I tell you this, but I’ve just checked the news, and there’s been an accident.”
Chloe swallowed and it felt like her whole stomach turned to ice.
“What?” Her voice was close to a whisper, and her hands shook as she turned on the TV.
“That’s the road that Beca takes to work, right?” Aubrey asked, the news report from Chloe’s TV travelling through the phone.
Chloe nodded but didn’t speak.
This was serious now.
It was real now.
“Chloe?”
“Yeah,” Chloe said, her voice thick. “Fuck.”
With every minute that ticked by, it became more and more obvious that Beca wasn’t suddenly going to walk through the front door and apologise for being so late.
Something had happened to stop Beca from coming home to her wife and child, and that could only be something bad.
“Try not to jump to the worst-case scenario,” Aubrey said when she arrived thirty minutes later.
“How am I supposed to do that?” Chloe snapped, before dissolving into tears. “I’m sorry, ‘Bree.”
Aubrey waved her off, no apologies were necessary. “Call the cops,” Aubrey said. “Tell them what happened, and I’ll start calling the hospitals in the area and-”
The sound of keys in the door cut Aubrey off, and soon it was being pushed open.
“You would not believe the night-”
Chloe didn’t even let Beca finish her sentence before she launched herself at her, throwing her arms around her and breaking down into heavy sobs.
“Uh, Chlo’?”
With wide eyes Beca looked to Aubrey, who was sinking back onto the sofa in relief, her hands coming up to cover her face.
Beca glanced at the TV and saw the very accident that had kept her stuck in traffic for close to four hours.
“My phone died,” Beca said, returning Chloe’s hug now that she realised what it was for. “Baby, I’m so sorry. It was bumper to bumper to traffic, I couldn’t do anything.”
“I thought you died, you jerk,” Chloe sobbed into Beca’s chest.
“I’m sorry,” Beca said, rubbing a hand up and down her back. “I’m okay. I’m home, I’m right here.”
“Beca I’m thrilled you’re alive, but if you do something like that again, I might kill you,” Aubrey said, standing from the sofa and walking towards the front door, where they were both still standing. “Chlo’ I’m gonna head home.”
Chloe nodded but made no effort to extract herself from Beca’s arms.
“Thank you for being here,” Beca said, sidestepping so Aubrey could open the door.
“Thank you for not being dead,” Aubrey replied, placing a hand on Beca’s shoulder and squeezing.
With Chloe still firmly attached to her, Beca managed to manoeuvre them so they were further into the living room.
“I need to plug my phone in,” Beca said. “And I am desperate to pee.”
Reluctantly, Chloe let Beca go, and she dropped onto the sofa. All the tension and stress left her in a second, and she felt suddenly boneless.
Beca returned after a few minutes with two glasses of wine.
“Here,” Beca said, handing her a glass. “I think we both need this.”
She sat down next to her and, after downing half of her glass and setting it on the coffee table, Chloe re-attached herself to Beca’s side.
“I had about fifty missed calls from everyone we know,” Beca said, trying to sound playful, even though it felt out of place.
“I had 9-1 typed into my phone when you opened the door,” Chloe said. “One second later there’d have been a country-wide search party for you.”
“I don’t know if they do a country-wide search party when an adult woman has been missing for four hours,” Beca said, chuckling softly.
“They do when that woman is my wife,” Chloe replied.
Beca laughed again and kissed the top of Chloe’s head.
“If I was in your shoes I’d have done the exact same thing,” Beca said. “I’m so sorry I scared you.”
“It wasn’t your fault,” Chloe said, closing her eyes at the feeling of Beca’s hands running through her hair.
“No,” Beca agreed. “But I’m still sorry. From now on I’ll make sure I have an iPhone cable or something in my car. I won’t put you through that again.”
“I’d appreciate that,” Chloe said.
“Liv didn’t know anything, did she?”
“No,” Chloe said. “She was in bed before I started really panicking. She’s going to be cross with you for not making it home for dinner though.”
“Speaking of dinner,” Beca said, her stomach rumbling in response to the word.
“I kept you a plate,” Chloe said, leaning up to kiss her cheek.
“You’re the best,” Beca said, lifting her arms to stretch above her head. “I’m gonna inhale that, and then I think we should go to bed.” Chloe sat up so Beca could get up from the sofa.
“What time are you at work tomorrow?”
“I’m taking the day off,” Beca said. “Who knows what the highway will be like. Plus, I think we need a little family time.”
Chloe grinned. “I love you, and I’m so so glad you’re okay.”
“Me too,” Beca said, kissing her before making her way into the kitchen. “Me too.”

Prompt 92
Clockwork is done.
Screw the observants’ rules, screw the ‘you can’t enter the mortal realms’ demand they try. He is going to have words with the speedsters about timelines and travelling through timestreams. He is not missing his ghostling’s highschool graduation and if there’s even a chance of that horrible thing happening he will make it everyone else’s problem!

[ cw: nightmares / trauma / ]
Post-invasion, Mikey sneaks into Leo’s room and when asked by Leo what the problem was, Mikey just smiles and says since he’s awake and knew Leo would be too, he didn’t want either of them alone. Leo laughs and lets Mikey stick around, both of them clumped together on Leo’s bed, watching grainy compilations of old Lou Jitsu commercials on Leo’s phone.
Technically, Mikey didn’t lie. He just didn’t explain everything that led him to Leo’s room. He didn’t explain the nightmare of his arms burning up too bright, too fast, destroyed before Raph and Donnie have a chance to help. He didn’t explain how he woke up with a wail caught in his throat, phantom pain in his arms and chest alike chasing away any semblance of exhaustion. He didn’t explain how his mind made sure he knew, vividly, that if one thing went wrong with his portal, then he would have never seen Leo again.
He didn’t explain, and he didn’t have to. Leo knows his brothers better than he knows himself, and Mikey has always been easy to read. So it’s no trouble to let Mikey know that he’s still with them, that Leo is here and alive with everyone else. And when Mikey finally regains his exhaustion and falls asleep leaning against Leo, Leo simply maneuvers him into a more comfortable position and stays by his side.
He doesn’t move, doesn’t go to sleep - not that he could, anyway. He just mindlessly scrolls on his phone, the soft snores of his little brother filling the room. He stays in place, awake, because he wants to be sure that when Mikey wakes up again it’s to the immediate sight that Leo is alive and well and home.
And, if Leo’s bring honest, that’s a reminder not just for Mikey’s sake.

Building up on both of does anon posts, Machete and Vasco being historical figures that make waves every so often on tumblr feels very canon and not too far from actual tumblr's favourite historical figures.
And also, I feel that Machete shouldn't go that unnoticed by scholars. Being this powerful member of the clergy that escaped many assassination attempts before being killed and had a personal relationship with the pope. Like this man was a deathly and important part of the inquisition, but also left behind rumours of a same-sex relationship with a married politician.
I can definitely see him becoming a point of interest for some historians, especially does who studied the inquisition or the clergy. That's probably how Vasco's paintings of him got discovered and documented and how their relationship stopping being considered a rumour started by his now-death enemies, but an actual theory with some weight behind it.
Idk why but I'm becoming very invested in the ways history would treat and remember them, way too many scandals and drama for them to be forgotten in time.
You do make a very convincing point.
People are getting so invested in their hypothetical in-universe reputation and are clearly putting some serious thought into it and it's getting me hyped up as well ;_;
