#random personal stuff #if I go to bed then I have to get up for work tomorrow #not really looking forward to it #Friday it was revealed that a book I had dutifully ordered at the request of the person in charge of what we order #was requested as a replacement but we had never owned it to begin with #best case scenario it was a careless mistake #worst case scenario it was outright dishonesty to get away with ordering a book that was a personal choice and not approved by faculty #this guy often drives me crazy but I don't like thinking of him as the sort of person who would do that #and I don't know what the outcome is going to be but it's going to be tense carrying around this information inside #relabeling books is a huge chunk of my job right now #and it's incredibly mind-numbing and dull but at least I can put in headphones and exit reality so maybe I'll do that tomorrow #just a few more days and I'm out of here

I just need someone in my life that I can absolutely worship and give myself to completely without the fear of being tossed aside afterwards, and with the knowledge that they love me just as harshly as my devotion to them is. I need possession but comfort. I need to fear their demanding gaze while knowing they’ll be there for me. Whenever I need them. I guess I just want to be loved. But in a very specific way.

Just over here thinking about just how much trust is implied in the way Eddie let loose at the bachelor party. And I know this isn't news, that Eddie trusts Buck implicitly, but there's just something so beautiful in the idea that Eddie Diaz—master of control and compartmentalization and putting everyone else first—was not only willing, but eager to let loose with Buck. Even after the safety of the rest of their group was gone, even after Buck had invited dozens of strangers into their space, Eddie didn't hesitate for a moment to let go with Buck because of course Buck is safe and of course he can trust Buck to let go right beside him without judgment.

And there's just something really beautiful in that.
