I had another Good Omens fanfiction dream this morning.

Basically, Crowley was due to give birth. You might ask, Pestilence, what's with you and Crowley being pregnant?.. The answer is, I don't know, and neither does my therapist.

So, Crowley's due to give birth, he's scared and in pain. Beelzebub shows up, along with a few other demons (I guess I'll look through the Key of Solomon, I remember a few have to do with healing). She told him they'll support him. I have a feeling, the dream adhered to my idea that Crowley and Beelzebub are siblings (in spite Beelzebub looking like she does in S2, so Indian).

Crowley had to change to his snake form, because while his human form was male (so he couldn't give birth without surgery, which was too dangerous), his snake form was female. The demons put him in a whelping box (genius idea). Crowley gave birth to either 4 or 6 baby snakes (apparently, they're called snakelets). It was a live birth, which, fun fact, some snakes do give (i think boa constrictors, and snake Crowley kind of looks like one, aside from the colouring). The baby snakes then morphed to human form. I don't think Crowley nearly died, but he lost a lot of blood, and got extremely exhausted. No, it probably wasn't realistic to how snakes actually give birth.

(They were far larger, though)

Oh, and at some point, Aziraphale found out, but someone (possibly Beelzebub) forbade him from coming, because an angel's presence would distress the babies, and they wouldn't take human form. They could also die.

No, I don't think Aziraphale was the "father". The babies were demons, while, according to my headcanons, when an angel procreates with a demon, the baby's an angel, as it's the original form (though, they do retain some demonic features). Maybe, Crowley mated with an actual snake, or something... It would be very Greek and Norse god of him, but what the Heaven, dude... I guess, Beelzebub could act as the litter's she-father, once the two had reconciled. Which, is a word I use for maternal figures who, traditionally, would be considered more paternal. You know, kind of emotionally detached, more provider than carer, often absent, that sort of deal.

This is incoherent, but I only remember fragments. I guess, I will put it down in my notes for the future. I already did. (I'm kind of tempted to write the birth scene, I like writing birth scenes, they're brutal).

Don't you just have a love/hate relationship with when you are already swamped with WIPs, but the Fanfiction Gods send you another vision?..

Also, don't you just hate it when you give birth to a litter of snakelets, with the help of your coworkers, and your estranged sister.

He was just tryin to take care of him n Karen as he watched Kevin just get worse n worse with the people he was hangin around. Conflict at home had him stressin big time. Catch them z's whenever the fuck he could.

Kyle: Bro almost never changes appearance wise due to insecurities. The scratches on his face are from a meltdown he had where he lost complete control of his actions n started hittin n clawin at himself (managed to convince his parents it happened in his sleep bcuz no one was home when the breakdown happened). This was a rather common thing to happen, seein as normal teenage horomones, mental illness, n eds are like the worst fuckin combo.

Stan: Legit the worst time of his life, both home n mentally. Around this time where he'd get super drunk n high to try n numb out everythin, but that would only start more shit of course. He felt completely caged in n stuck in life n in this cycle of bs. One night he spiraled pretty hard n impulsively tried to hang himself with an old belt. He pretty quickly freaked out n managed to get somethin under him so he could get back out. Uhh n misc. red hair bcuz he had started dyin his hair lots of colours (but usually red) for Crimson Dawn around this time.

You walked around the grounds of hogwarts, your jacket tightly wrapped around you, the snow falling on your beanie, changing it's crimson colour to an almost white. You had stayed at Hogwarts for Christmas, your parents had to visit some distant relatives and you couldn't go back and stay alone. The rest of your friend group has gone homs, except for Sirius. As you walked, you heard sniffling coming from behind a pillar.

As you approached the sound, you found it to be familiar, as you peaked through the pillar, you spotted Sirius, your best friend and long time crush since sitting year (you're now in your fifth) sitting there on the ankle deep snow, only wearing his uniform. His tie undone, loosely hanging around his neck as he shivered and sobbed, his face red from the cold. You quickly walked over, kneeling down beside him and slipping off your jacket, Handing it to him. He went to protest, but you beat him to it "Pads come on. You'll freeze to death out here, let's get you back to the common room" you helped him up, and led him inside.

You walked in silence through the basically empty halls of hogwarts, stopping by the kitchens to get him some hot chocolate on the way despite his protests. You handed him the mug, getting one for yourself just so he would accept. You'd never seen him this way, the lover boy of the school, wrapped up in your jacket sniffling.

As you neared the gryffindor tower, you spoke "You wanna talk about it?" He shook his head "Just, just my family again is all.." you noticed his voice breaking at the word family but you didn't push. That's what he liked about you. The way you understood him. The way you never pushed anyone and the way you always respected everyone's boundaries all while still trying to help them, even when you didn't know what the problem was. Finally, you entered the common room, which to no surprise was empty, ignoring the fat ladies calls and questions as to why "Mr. Black looked like a mess" according to her.

You took off your beanie and shoes, sitting down on the couch, Sirius following. You sat there for a moment, sipping on your drinks, you watched as he zoned out, the red colour of his face slowly disappearing "You know what.... Maybe I should talk about it" you nodded "Only if you want to pads. I'm listening tho" he turned his body to look at you "I... I got a howler again." He took a deep breath "I've- I got disowned" your eyes widened, as you placed your mug down, his eyes were glistening from the dim lighting of the room still, the way he looked at you, waiting for a reply of sorts broke your heart.

"Sirius I... I'm sorry" he went to speak, but you cut him off "I'm sorry. You don't, you don't deserve this pads. None of it, the way they treat you. Everything you've told us it's just-" you couldn't find the right word to describe how disgusting the way the blacks treated him was. "I just, I hope you know that, no matter what. You'll always have a family. The Potters, the lupins even! All of us, me, James, Remus, Peter, lily. I could go on..." You turned to look at him fully, only now realising how close you were. Both your breaths hitched, you, without thinking, reached over and wiped his tears, keeping your hand there for a few seconds.

"Thank you..." He finally said, hugging you. He felt safe with you. Someone who understood him. He felt like he could let his guard down, show vulnerability. And so he did, the second you hugged him back, he broke down clinging to you. You calmed the boy down. pulling away to look at him "you alright pads?" He didn't answer, debating whether or not he should do it. "Sirius?" Nothing. Just as you opened your mouth to speak again he leaned over kissing you. You returned the favour kissing him back. "You're too good" you shook your head "No, I'm not. No one can be too good" you kissed the side of his lips once more pulling him to you "Feeling any better?" He nodded into your chest, you heard him yawn and layed back. 'what the hell just happened..?' was the last thing you both thought about as you drifted off to sleep hugged by your unnecessarily oversized jacket

Rain drops had taken on a life of their own.

Glowing crimson red, shimmering poisonous greens, and divine lionhearted golds glittered in the air around you, before you, above you. It was a widespread neon halo illuminating the heart worn so torn on his sleeve, one that bled carefully onto your own.

“Monsters are real,” he says, in the middle of a wartorn crime scene. Neon lights painted your bodies in the colors of the city proper, the ones splashing down and spilling into the crowd gathering around. Rain fell down around you, washing away all your sins to mingle with those already at your feet.

“Monsters are real,” he says, voice a whisper, a murmur, strained ever so slightly. His grip on the umbrella trembles. “Because I rule over them all, in this city.”

Clouds part to reveal trickles of silver, beams of light slipping through the breaks in the storm. Moonlight kisses your hands, interlocked and steady as you try to hide them from the bite of the wind sweeping bitter rain down your skin.

“I am their king.”

Shining eyes tip up, up, up, towards the hazy moon, a flash of lightning forking bright, harsh, reflecting quick in those beautiful blue irises. Lips turn down - worry, you’ve learned - and he pulls you away from the colossal metal latticework arching up and over the sins of another.

There’s a twist in your stomach, when he looks at you a few blocks away - umbrella folded neatly by his side, rain dwindled down to a drizzle, then misty tears that stopped all together. White streak shone all golden in the glory of the sign lighting up the whole block in a gaudy Gotham advert, and you don’t miss the way his stare lingers - can’t miss it, really -

Especially when it softens the moment your eyes connect with his. Maintain. You break into a smile that you can’t hold back. He returns it with a version of his own, moonlight shining down on him like it’s blue hour, like it’s golden hour all over again and you’re realizing that maybe this is what love feels like.

Shared space. Holding hands, walks in the rain. White streaks and exchanging annotated books on snowy days. Hope for something. Hope for anything.

SWEET/SPICY/SAVORY? - if I can have both sweet and spicy I am thriving. Sweet chilli is one of my favourite flavours of all time but anything from Bombay mix to paprika crisps is peak. Salted sweet things like bacon and maple syrup pancakes are a close second

RELATIONSHIP STATUS? - single and likely to remain so until the economy allows me to live an independent life

CURRENT OBSESSIONS? - I have been scouring the pdfs provided by @queer-ragnelle for their Palomides content. He is my absolute favourite and I’ve somehow found myself writing self-indulgent time-loop fic where Brangaine tries to unravel the mess that is the Tristan/Iseult romance

LAST THING YOU GOOGLED? - the Morholt, brother to Queen Iseult of Ireland and uncle to Iseult the Fair. In the Italian La Tavola Ritonda the Morholt (here Amoroldo) leaves behind a young son called Amoroldo Novello which is very cute and very sad. Also when Queen Iseult finds out Tristan killed her brother she tries to murder him in the bathtub with his own sword which I think is very sexy of her

We're opposite ends on The Shining. I've only watched the movie and not read the book. I know King is brilliant, but I think I got halfway through one his books once. Surprisingly not a huge fan of most horror. But it's only bc...none of it scares me, so I usually feel kind of disappointed? I'll like those kinds of movies if they're well written/have some humor/have a good aesthetic. The art school bitch in me is sated by beautiful camera work and colors. Haha. I am not a big fan of movies but sure, I'll give it a shot when I happen upon a chance. Hmm...none of it scares you? Interesting. I am personally not one to be scared of silly movies or books however I did find myself deeply invested in the fate of the characters. In the Shining book if I recall correctly, the father cared far more about his family in the book than in the movie where he was a raging horrible maniac. I could go on about it but I shall end it here.

I try very hard to, but sometimes there's a big delay since my brain isn't CONSISTENTLY functional.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Okay, MOST of my fics are unfinished, but maybe the Octavia/Miller fic that fits just inside of canon, The Last Few Firsts? Or the Prey fic Complimentary Colors, because while my ending is hopeful for canon, man, that canon is GRIM.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Either The Eighth Floor of the Panopticon is a Lost and Found or Parahelion, simply because both of those fics are very alice-of-life and end in an upbeat note. 

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Nope, I sometimes think that you need to get pretty BIG to get hate.

9. Do you write smut?

Yes. Just yes. 

10. Craziest crossover?

I was working on a Supernatural/X-Files crossover based around Scully meeting Castiel and having her faith confirmed and it going WEIRDLY, but it remains unpublished. 

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

No, again: I'm a nobody. 

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

No, but I've had someone podfic them!!!

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

I've had friends (HOOT) mentally walk me through plot points (like my Gravity Falls fic), or even give me ideas they didn't wanna write (my current WIP for Fallout 4, centered around STURGES of all people). But that's it. 

14. All time favorite ship?

Tough call, gonna have to cut back to the Source Material for this one and call it a ship I e never written for: Tulio/Miguel/Chel. You know I'm right, objectively.

15. What's a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Oh god, yeah, all of em? The least likely to be finished is probably the Crimson Peak one. 

16. What are your writing strengths?

Not much other than a good sense of character tone/voice. I'm pretty proud of some patches of dry humor, but that's a taste thing. 

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Oh you know, everything not character tone/voice..? Uh, plot, pacing, overarching themes, telegraphing anything ever. 

18. Thoughts on dialogue in another language?

My opinion: it's never appropriate to use another language unless the fic is meant to be read without any NEED for understanding that second language at all. If your side characters are speaking a foreign language and the main character doesn't KNOW that language, and you want to play up that alienation? That's good use of foreign language in a fic! If the characters are speaking pigeon, or an amalgam of several languages, but there's enough context that no translation is actually needed? Good use! Other than those, I think you need to write in one language at a time. 

19. First fandom you wrote in?

Wrote in? Probably either The Vampire Chronicles or Heathers.Posted online for? Daredevil.

20. Favorite fic you've written?

Both of my Prey fics, but Lucid Inescapable Rhythms slightly more. It's my least popular fic, for a ship with a total of FOUR fics on AO3 but I'm just super happy with it. The characters were awesome to write for, the universe is weird and sad and pessimistic, the relationship makes both zero sense and perfect sense, I love it. It probably has typos tho…

Favorite color: probably burgundy, overall. But it depends what it’s for? Like, most of my clothes are black, but I only ever buy dark blue bedsheets.

Last song I listened to: Are You Satisfied? By MARINA (tho it was Marina and the Diamonds, at the time) Am I channeling my high school tryhard era to help me finish my dissertation proposal? maybe lol.

Last movie I watched: … you know, I’m not sure. I’m not really a movie person usually, and I haven’t had much free time lately. The last one I can remember was rewatching Crimson Peak to get inspiration for the right vibes for a fic .

Currently watching: same issue as the last one lol. But the last series I watched in full was The Fall of the House of Usher (the 2023 Netflix series). I really liked it! It’s uhhhh probably not for everyone. But if you like horror, modern adaptations, and social commentary, it’s a good time. I didn’t think it was that scary per se, especially compared to some of Mike Flanagan’s other horror series, but I did think it was very well done.

Currently reading: The joke answer is the 150+ research articles I cite in my dis proposal lol. But the last thing I read for run was Godkiller by Hannah Kaner. I enjoyed it, though I heard reviews were mixed. Which I get; the prologue and first chapter were really good at establishing the setting, but the next few chapters were a little slow. The latter half of the book was hard to put down though. I think I read that part in one day? Plus I have a great love of worldbuilding, so I appreciate a book that takes an interesting approach to it.

Sweet, savory, or spicy: yes? Depends what kind of mood I’m in and what I’m eating.

Current craving: for reasons I don’t entirely understand, flaming hot fritos.

Coffee or tea: I vastly prefer tea! Though I’ll drink coffee when I need to stay awake. By the time I’m done adding things to it, it barely resembles coffee anymore lol tho.

Relationship status: The last time I was asked one of these, I put "busy" and it's still true, so. still busy lol

Current obsession: I’m going to four different academic conferences this year (one down, three to go!), so too keep things interesting, my goal is to go to as many different aquariums as I can lol. extremely curious what's ya stance on strixxie and striker himself nowadays!

Woooo boy! Well I've written an over 130.000 words fanfic on Strixxie and a sequel on the works plus a couple of smaller ones on the side so you can safely say I'm still very much OBSESSED with the pair!😍

I love all of the nemesis tropes they have in canon! Their antagonistic chemistry is top notch and I stan all flavors of enemies to lovers that have the potential to come with it! I love the mutual canon animosity and constantly challenging each other vibes that I can be delulu with and interpret as thick sexual tension!

Some darker problematic stuff is honestly still a big part of the appeal to me as much as mushy stuff could be depending on execution and aaaaaah I just adore ships that can have such range!

Plus it gives me stuff to grab onto in canon like Striker fucking drooling in their last encounter like hello???? And also of course Moxxie being a little badass and pulling that glorious uno reverse on him that had me weak fahscahfagafavavsfksfs!😫💞

As far as Striker goes he's still my fave character! But I do think the harvest moon festival had him at his peak and some elements got a bit messed up with Western Energy. They didn't completely ruin him tho. The only parts I couldn't stand were some jokes I thought really didn't work for him like that god-awful statue and a couple of random outbursts of anger I found ooc.

If they kept those away along with the questionable decision of having Stella call him off for that reason and him revealing all his cards as an assassin so publicly prior, honestly the rest I don't mind at all. The entire Stolas torture scene in a vacuum is absolutely flawless, along with the fight with M&M. Those were some good shit. Especially with Moxxie hehe😏 I really loved how they showed much of Striker's character via that fight, like being cunning and badass and reveling on the challenge. Very fun villain stuff to see!

And I enjoyed him in Oops even if the plot to bring him there was contrived. He was handled a lot better I think. Again excluding some questionable logic like why would Fizzarolli's performance ever distract everyone like that. But eh comedy is subjective and all.

Speaking of which I really hope the team up with Crimson wasn't an one off thing cause wooo boy is that plot point fascinating!!

Both of Moxxie's majorly thematically villains teaming up is just ripe for juicy drama. I am wishing for a follow up on that so badly!!!!

So yeah overall still love Striker a lot while choosing to ignore some elements of his character that the writers added and that annoyed me and that's the tea. Well that's my general experience with hellaverse in general anyways. Along with the pacing that messes some stuff up.

I can't wait to see him again! And more Strixxie scenes too!

Hmm.... Actually I don't follow any fandoms. The debates and discourses are so toxic like you can't believe (*cough HotD *cough*). Honestly the Darkling/Darklina fandom is the only one I'm in (because everyone is amazing and sensible here).

But I can tell you which movies/series/books I like. It's also an opportunity for you guys to get to know me a little since I don't talk about myself and my interests much.😊
