Idea for my (as of yet, completely unstarted) Piglin Trading+ mod:

The value of what you give the piglin corresponds more closely with what the piglin gives you. I'm thinking of dividing their trades into "trash," "goods," and "treasure"

If possible, I'd like to make it so if you give them a gold nugget, they'll give you trash, a gold ingot will give you goods, and a gold block will give you treasure. And of course, my inciting idea for this mod: giving the piglins netherite will either give you blaze rods/blaze powder or at least have a high chance of doing so. (I haven't yet decided if I want to include ancient debris or scraps in the trading tables. So much to think about.)

My tentative lists

Trash: gravel, blackstone, soul sand, nether brick, string, leather

Goods: spectral arrows, iron nuggets, nether quartz, obsidian, crying obsidian

Treasure: ender pearl, iron boots, enchanted book, potion of fire resistance

Also the bartering page included how the loot tables have changed and I kind of want to add back in mushrooms, flint, and rotten flesh in my "trash" category and porkchops to my "goods" category. Might add some other things like more armor or the occasional diamond to the treasure category.

Again, much to think about

Not least of which is "do I still remember how to code?"
