Help My Family Escape the War in Gaza: A Cry for Safety and Survival
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dear Friends and Supporters,
I write to you with a heart heavy with pain and urgency. My name is Mohammad Jamal Shamia, and I reside in Sweden. I am raising funds to help my family and loved ones, who are trapped in Gaza, escape the unimaginable horrors of war. Their lives have been turned upside down, and now they stand on the brink of despair, with no place to call home and no future in sight. We are fighting for their survival.
A Family Torn Apart by War
My family consists of eight members: my father, my mother, my four sisters, and my two brothers. Each one of them has a story of pain and loss, but I will start with my father, Jamal Shamia, who is still in Gaza. His home was destroyed in the very first days of the war. A single rocket shattered not just his home, but also our hopes and dreams. The life he had worked so hard to build was reduced to rubble in a heartbeat. He now stands without a roof over his head, in a place where there is no security, no peace, and no hope for the future.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
My mother, who left Gaza for surgery in Egypt before the war started, is now stranded on the Egyptian side, unable to return and without any support. She worries every day about my father, her children, and grandchildren who remain in Gaza, not knowing if they will survive another day.
Sisters in Crisis: Homes Lost, Lives Disrupted
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
My sister Rasha Jamal Shamia and her husband, Khalil Abu Samaan, have two children, Mira and Omar. They have been forced to flee their home in Gaza City and are now living in a tent in Rafah, far from everything they once knew. Their home, their children’s education, and their future—everything is gone. Their days are filled with fear, and their nights bring no rest. The constant sound of bombs haunts them, and they have no way to provide their children with the life they deserve.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
My sister Rana Jamal Shamia and her husband, Mohammed Salama, are in a similarly desperate situation. Their two children, Amir and Taim, witnessed the destruction of their home firsthand. The bomb that took away their shelter also left Rana and her family with deep physical and emotional scars. They are now displaced in Rafah, struggling every day to survive. The trauma they have endured is unimaginable.
My sister Maram Jamal Shamia and her husband, Mareed Al-Suwirki, were able to leave Gaza with their children, but they carry with them the scars of war. Their home in Gaza was destroyed, and they lost everything. Mareed, a dentist, lost his job, and they are now trying to rebuild their lives outside the war zone, but they need your help.
My youngest sister, Reem, has been living outside Gaza for some time, but she hasn’t been able to reunite with the family. The pain of separation and worry for her loved ones has been unbearable.
A Brother’s Dreams Shattered
Tumblr media Tumblr media
My brother Ahmad Jamal Shamia is a bright, ambitious student who was in his third year of dental school at Al-Azhar University in Gaza. The war took everything from him—his education, his home, his dreams. Ahmad was ranked first in his class, always striving to be the best and help others. Now, he is left with nothing. He moves from one temporary shelter to another, hoping for a chance to continue his studies in Egypt. But without financial support, this dream too will be lost.
The Desperate Situation
The situation in Gaza is beyond dire. Every day, my family faces unimaginable hardships. They live in constant fear, with bombings happening around them day and night. They are without basic necessities—no reliable access to food, water, or medical care. The trauma of living through this horror has left deep emotional wounds that will take years to heal, if ever.
We are desperate to get them out. We want to transport them to Egypt, where they can begin to rebuild their lives and find safety. But this escape comes at a high cost. It will take $5,000 per adult and $2,500 per child to cross the border and start anew in Egypt. My family is counting on this fundraising effort to save their lives.
How You Can Help
Your support can make a life-saving difference. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to rescuing my family from this nightmare. With your help, we can reunite them with safety and security on the other side of the border. Time is running out, and the risks increase with every passing day.
Please consider donating to our campaign. Your generosity will not only provide my family with the means to escape the immediate danger but also offer them hope for a future where they can begin to heal and rebuild their lives. I cannot thank you enough for your support.
Together, We Can Save Lives
My family is relying on the kindness of strangers and friends alike to help them escape the ongoing violence. Your donation is not just financial assistance—it is a lifeline, a chance at survival. We need you now more than ever. Please, stand with us and help bring my family to safety.
Thank you for your kindness, your compassion, and your support. Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can save lives.

🦊 Fellow Honest and you grew up together with Gidel by your side, working together to provide a decent life for the younger beastman, despite the hardships
🦊 Gidel adores you to the point where you were basically another sibling to him, which led to Fellow beginning to see you as a co-raiser of the cat-man
🦊 You and Fellow eventually began to work at Playful Land together, with the assistance of your younger brother
🦊 When your relationship started, you guys just began working at the theme park with one another, only using the relationship as something to put the walls of the visitors down to nothing
🦊 But, Fellow began to notice how when the visitors walked away with you guiding them around to show them the place so they were more at ease, he would glare at one of them if they tried something inappropriate
🦊 While you guys to eventually marry, not making it into any paperwork, obviously, you cannot allow your occupations to be let out, he still is protective over you, since fox-beastman have one partner for their lives
🦊 Your occupation working at Playful Land is very shady and if caught, can put you all in serious danger, which prompts Fellow to guard you and Gidel with his life, no matter the cost
🦊 Despite popular beliefs, Fellow does not want children unless he had a stable life with you and Gidel, he doesn't want his offspring to go through the same amount of pain he, Gidel, and you went through
🦊 If you and him had one unexpectedly, he would put everything into you, his brother, and his children, since you all were the most important things in his life, he could wait, you could not

🐊 Baul never saw any point for a relationship, but, when he met you at a young age, he saw more potential with you than he did anyone else
🐊 He has a fiery personality, but, unlike many, you adored that part of him. And, due to his more aggressive tendencies, he is a very protective and possessive husband, pushing you behind him during any threat
🐊 During the war, he kept you away from it all, and sending you as many letters as he could in between battles
🐊 Once the war calmed down, he found out you were pregnant and was having a daughter, the only child you would ever have during your long lives together
🐊 He raised your daughter with such high-honors that it was a hint overwhelming for the young fae, but, what did you expect from an ex-military member?
🐊 You are by far the more approachable grandparent of the Zigvolt family, you were the one that Sebek would come for to get advice, and you would always tell him to embrace what his father gave him, his humanity
🐊 While Baul and you have some rough-patches that you cannot seem to fully sand down, he always tried his best to keep his composure, and he had tried his most when your daughter brought her future husband and father to her children home to meet you both
🐊 He was horrified of Baul Zigvolt, who told him to only call him Mr. Zigvolt, while he was far more at ease with you, as you just said he could call you 'Mom'
🐊 It's basically the 'Cool and Intimidating x An Absolute Sweetheart' dynamic, and it's hilarious for your family and friends to watch

🕊️ You worked with Kifaji as a chamberlain for the Kingscholar family growing up, and he would just watch as you would help Farena take a small break from his homework to mess around
🕊️ Kifaji also would love watching you just try getting Leona to do something other than nap around growing up, it was quite amusing
🕊️ He and you were childhood friends, and eventual lovers who married and began to work alongside one another. Your husband then began to work for the Kingscholar family, with you joining him later on
🕊️ This guy gives me the vibe of a good father for some reason
🕊️ Due to this, he and you had two children, two boys to be specific, and oh boy does he adore his dearest boys to the end of the world
🕊️ He taught them everything they needed to know, and because of your ages, you had the first son around a year or so before Farena was born and then your second son when the oldest Kingscholar was a couple years old
🕊️ Kifaji tries to take some days off of work to be with you and his sons as they grew up, but as they aged and began their own lives, he tried spending as much time as he could with his grandchildren
🕊️ Leona loves to taunt you by being asleep in the most random places, prompting your husband to show, allowing the lion-beastman to get you flustered more
🕊️ Age comes with wisdom? Then he must have been 70 when he was really 28, and you would vouch for that, like I mentioned, this guy taught his children and the Kingscholar's children, what do you expect?

an: again...i tried. this is a part two. i appreciate feedback! let me know what you thought! (original title was broken promises)
Tumblr media
theodore nott walked the deserted halls of hogwarts, his heart feeling heavier with each step. the stone corridors echoed with whispers of his past, taunting him with the memories of laughter and joy that now felt like a distant echo. the castle had become a prison, not just for those who opposed the new regime, but for him as well. every portrait's gaze seemed to judge him, and each and every corner held a reminder of the girl he had lost.
years had passed since that pivotal night. the war had devastated the wizarding world, leaving scars that even time itself struggled to heal. the order of the phoenix had been dispersed, and the death eaters have emerged as the ruling force. theo had been made a death eater, not out of loyalty, but out of fear for his survival. it was a choice he had made with an aching heart, one that had cost him everything he held dear.
one evening, as theo was patrolling the corridors, he heard a faint sound—a whisper of a name that seemed to dance in the shadows. he froze, his wand at the ready, his senses heightened. the name grew louder, more insistent, and as he approached the source, he felt his heart stutter in his chest. it was her—you, his ex-girlfriend—the one he had pushed away to protect.
your eyes met his, wide with shock and fear, and for a moment, time seemed to stand still. the war had not been kind to you; there were scars etched into your face that displayed hardship and pain, but you were alive, and that was all that mattered.
theo's hand fell from his wand, his body momentarily paralyzed by the sight of you. the rain outside had soaked your hair, plastering it against your face, and your clothes were tattered and worn. yet, you were the most beautiful thing he had seen in years.
"what are you doing here?" he whispered, his voice strained with a mix of relief and terror. "you should be hiding, away from all of this."
your eyes searched his, a silent plea for understanding. "i couldn't," you replied, your voice trembling. "i had to find you, to…"
the words caught in your throat, and theo could see the fear and hope brewing within you. he stepped closer, his hand reaching out to you, but you flinched at his touch. the reality of his situation hit him like a physical blow—his love, his soulmate, standing before him, yet worlds apart.
"you shouldn't have come," he said gently, his voice filled with regret. "it's not safe for you here."
you took a step closer, the rainwater dripping from you to form a small puddle on the floor between you two at your feet. "i know," you said, your voice barely above a whisper. "but I had to know if you were okay."
theo felt a twinge of guilt. he had pushed you away to keep her from the danger of his new life, yet here you were, in the heart of it. "i'm alive," he murmured, his hand still hovering between you. "but I'm not okay."
your eyes searched his, seeking for the truth. "what have they done to you?" you asked, your voice cracking.
theo sighed heavily, his eyes dropping to the floor. "i've made choices," he said, his voice tight. "choices that i never wanted to make. i'm not the person you knew."
your gaze never wavered from his. "I don't care about the choices you've made," you said fiercely. "I care about you."
theo's chest tightened at her words. the love he saw in your eyes was unchanged, despite the darkness that had consumed him. he knew he didn't deserve it, not anymore. "you should," he said, his voice thick with emotion. "you should care about your own safety."
"but i do," you insisted, taking his hand in yours. your touch was electric, sending a jolt of warmth through his cold, numb fingers. "i care about you, and if you're fighting, then i'll fight too."
theo's grip tightened around you, his eyes searching yours for any sign of doubt. "you don't understand," he said, his voice strained. "this isn't a fight you can win. it's too dangerous."
"i understand more than you think," you replied, your grip firm. "i've seen the world outside these walls, the pain, the fear. i know what we're up against."
theo's throat constricted. he didn't want you to know this world, didn't want you to be a part of his torment. "i can't protect you here," he said, his voice ragged. "if they find out you're with me…"
your eyes never left his. "then let's not be found," you said, your voice strong despite the quiver in your lip. "we can hide, we can run."
theo felt a spark of hope, a flicker of the life he thought he had lost. but it was quickly doused by the cold reality of the situation. "you don't know what you're asking," he said, his grip on your hand tightening. "this isn't a game, it's a war. and in this war, love is a liability."
your eyes searched his, filled with determination. "i've made my choice," you said firmly. "i choose you, theodore. i've always chosen you."
theo felt a pang of agony at the sound of his name on your lips. he had hoped that by pushing you away, he could save you from the darkness that was now his reality. but here you were, standing before him, willing to risk it all.
"we can't," he said, his voice hoarse. "if you're caught with me, it will only make things worse for both of us. you have to go, now."
your grip tightened. "no," you said, your eyes glistening with unshed tears. "i won't leave you."
theo's heart clenched. he knew he had to be the strong one, to make the choice that would keep you safe. "you have to," he insisted, his voice firm despite the turmoil within. "for both our sakes."
tears spilled down your cheeks, but you nodded, your eyes never leaving his. "i'll go," you whispered, "but I'll wait for you. i'll always wait for you."
theo felt a lump form in his throat, the weight of his decision crushing him. he knew he could never ask you to wait in a world like this, but the hope in your eyes was too much to extinguish. "you can't," he said, his voice thick. "you have to go live your life, be happy without me."
tears welled in your eyes, but you didn't protest. instead, you reached into the pocket of your robe and pulled out a small, worn object. "take this," you whispered, pressing it into his hand. it was a small chain necklace theo had given you in your sixth year, with a small charm of a swan hanging from it. "keep it close. It's a reminder that no matter what happens, i'll always be with you."
theo closed his hand around the necklace, feeling its warmth seep into his skin. he knew he couldn't keep you here, couldn't risk your life for his own sake. he leaned in, his forehead resting against yours, and whispered the words that would break his heart all over again. "i'm sorry," he murmured. "i'm so sorry."
with a trembling hand, he pushed you gently towards the door. "go," he said, his voice cracking. "find a way to live without me. forget me if you have to."
your eyes searched his, filled with a mix of sadness and determination. "i can't," you whispered. "but I'll survive. i promise."

€1,814/€5,000
This campaign was started back in April. Donations have been very slow.
ThomaSerena and his family evacuated from Sudan to Egypt. Since then, he and his brother have been struggling to find a source of income to support their family. He struggled to create this link because he prefers to be the one helping people, but he ultimately decided to seek support for the sake of his family.
ThomaSerena and his family are also facing increasing rent to the rise in the cost of living in Egypt. On top of these financial burdens, his family is also struggling with the stress of having to relocate to a new place after everything they've lived through.
Despite his hardships, ThomaSerena has also dedicated himself to helping 4 other Sudanese families in need:
€10,195/€50,000
Here are the details given about the 4 families this fundraiser is for:
1. Salih's family:-
Salih Abd Al whab is still stuck in sudan with his younger brother and sister along with their mom, their dad passed away may he rest I peace. Salih is pressured by the circumstances to join the army and help take our country back and I applaud him for it, he refuse to do otherwise, but his only wish is to save his family hopefully escape to egypt and live a better life or support them while they're in sudan.
2. Ahmed' family:-
Ahmed Atif is the eldest in his family, he fled to egypt as well. Ahmed is the eldest of the family and he was a last year medical student before the war started. They lost everything as well, and he was forced not to proceed with his studies due to insufficient funds, I urge you to help him finish his last year and help his family.
3. Ali's family:-
Ali Assir fled to egypt as well with his family along with his mother, his wife and his 3 year old child. Ali was an aspiring guy that started a family before the war and was taking care of his mother as well after his father's death may he rest in peace. He was working tirelessly to give his family a good life, but all of that came crumbling before his eyes with the start of the war. His mother is old, ever since they moved to egypt she has been sick and suffers from depression due the circumstances they're in. Ali and his wife can't think if sending his daughter to school since they barely have enough funds to live by. Helping them will help their mother and help their daughter start her education that is much needed and it pains my heart that a young child won't start their education because of this. I'm sure this will also help his mother with her depression if she sees her family doing well.
4. Noha's family:-
Noha Ibrahim also fled to egypt along with her mother and father. She had an older brother but he passed away while waiting for his visa in Halfa, which is the boarder between sudan and egypt due to his deteriorating health, may he rest in peace.
Noha and her family haven't been the same since his death. And right now noha is the sole breadwinner of the family and she can't keep up, both her parents are old and require medical care. Helping her will help them as well.

ID 1: Instagram post by @/therwees. It reads: “I do not envy those of you with the ability to look away, to "log off", to prioritize your "mental health" over bearing witness to genocide. one day you will be in the position to tell someone where you were when all this happened, when an entire people were wiped off the map - what you said, how you reacted, which congress people you called on to help stop it. and you'll have to tell someone - a daughter, a grandson, a niece or nephew, a boyfriend - that you couldn't even look. that you couldn't even give those people the easiest thing you could give them, which is an eyewitness testimony of their pain, their suffering, and the denial of their freedom.” End ID.
Tumblr media
ID 2: “here is what you must know, deep down inside of you: that the only way you are to rationalize all this death, all this tragedy, is islamophobia and racism. the only reason you are able to look away is because there is a grotesque part of you, a dead appendage of your soul, that believes brown people are destined to be miserable forever. that we deserve these calamities thrust upon us. It's why so many of you readily shared racist fabrications about baby beheadings, mass rapes, a global day of jihad. you are so ready to accept the image of the angry arab, the evil muslim, the heinous savagery innate to our identity.” End ID.
Tumblr media
ID 3: “to be arab or muslim in this country is to be burdened with the task of constantly proving your humanity and your innocence. there is always some awful thing to condemn - a terrorist attack, a corrupt regime on another continent, a preacher's vile sermon. it is psychically_draining to be suspicious of everyone, to wonder *all the time* if your next date is gonna say something islamophobic or if your employer will hold your faith against you or if the man staring at you on the bus is going to erupt with violence. to wonder if simply advocating for the liberation of Palestinians or Iraqis or Afghans will get you fired or ostracized or even just marred with the reputation of a histrionic.” End ID.
Tumblr media
ID 4: “and then, when the drum beat of war starts again, and the headlines start to look like guns, and the correspondents start to sound like executioners, it becomes obvious that our anxieties were not unjustified. that some of you do want us dead. that you only like falafel, that you only enjoy vacationing in marrakesh, that if bella hadid said hello to you on the street you'd have a story to tell forever, at every thanksgiving. that we bring color and vibrance to your social circles but only when we're quiet about our heartbreak. that arabic is a beautiful, sophisticated language for a barbaric people.” End ID.
Tumblr media
ID 5: “I know, as I've always known, since 9/11, and maybe even before, since I wore the hijab for ten years during the war on terror, since I saw my mother terrorized by our neighbors, that our lives are political fodder. you like us better than we're dead. we've learned nothing from our follies in Iraq, follies that came at the cost of more than half a million Iraqi lives.” End ID.
Tumblr media
ID 6: “american life is underwritten by the suffering of others after all. every shein haul, every iPhone, every meal delivery comes at the cost of another person's hardship. I think we really underestimate the psychic toll of this, to enjoy excess and convenience and peace at the price of someone else's despair. it has rotted our souls, to know that every gallon of gas we use steals a moment away from someone else's future, and to continue doing it.
so it is easy for us to look at the Israelis say: they should be able to enjoy their nice tel viv beaches, their lovely kibbutzes built on stolen palestinian land. civilization is built on the graves of barbarians, of people lesser than you. manifest destiny and all that.” End ID.
Tumblr media
ID 7: “I am so heartbroken for the palestinian people. I have faith that liberation is possible, but the price they've paid for it is too heavy. it's too too heavy. and now muslims and arabs all across the world will also pay the price. the very least you can do is look.” End ID.

❤️‍🩹 Uday and Firas Are Suffering: Help Save Their Lives and Ease Their Pain 🙏
💔 Help Inas's Children Receive Urgent Treatment and Escape Gaza's War Zone 🙏
My name is Inas Elmaghni, and I am 30 years old, a mother of five beautiful children. My husband, Mahmoud Alanqer, and I live in Gaza, Palestine, with our children: Uday (14), Farah (13), Firas (9), Rital (6), and little Bisan (2). We were a loving family, trying to build a future in the face of unimaginable hardships.
Tumblr media
Then, the war came, and everything we had was taken from us.🥺
Our home was destroyed, our life shattered. We were forced to flee, displaced time and time again, seeking safety but finding none. We tried to escape with our children to safety, but there is no safety in Gaza; every place, every person, and even every living creature in this land is at risk of bombing, death, and destruction.
We now live in tents in southern Gaza, where we are suffering greatly. My children have fallen ill due to the lack of clean water and sanitation.
The heat of summer is unbearable, and we are bracing for the freezing cold of winter with no protection.
Tumblr media
Worst of all, my children, Uday and Firas, were severely injured. Uday lost his eye 😢, and Firas has shrapnel lodged in his head, causing him immense pain. There are no medical supplies or trained doctors available to treat them. My daughter Rital's leg is broken, and my husband Mahmoud has lost several toes.
UDAY 🥺
Tumblr media
Firas 🥺
Tumblr media
little Bisan ❤️‍🩹
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We desperately need your help to raise funds, not only for medical treatment but also to escape Gaza. The cost to cross the Rafah border into Egypt is $5,000 for an adult and $3,000 for a child, and there are additional living and medical expenses once we get out.
We have sold everything we own, including all my savings and my husband’s, just to care for our children. Now, we have nothing left and no source of income to continue their treatment.
Tumblr media
All I hope for is that my children can recover from this nightmare 💔.
Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to safety, healing, and a future free from war.
With all my heart, I thank you for your kindness and generosity 🙏.
Inas Elmaghni

Note
My name is Anas Al-Sharfa. Since October 7, 2023, we have been suffering from a brutal war that has destroyed our dreams and hopes, exceeding the limits of human comprehension. During this savage war, we have endured hardships that mountains could not bear. We are facing severe water shortages and a critical lack of food and nutrition due to the blockade in northern Gaza for the past 10 months, preventing essential supplies like meat, vegetables, and fruits from entering. This situation has forced us to eat animal feed, leading to weight loss, various diseases, and a significant weakening of our immune systems.
We also suffer from severe water shortages, often walking nearly 1 kilometer to obtain a single gallon of water, which is approximately 16 liters, barely enough for five family members. As a result of the war, our home and agricultural land, which used to provide our daily sustenance, were destroyed and completely bulldozed, leading to major disruptions in our lives. We have also suffered from repeated displacement, moving from one place to another and from one area to another due to the horrific and brutal bombings.
Additionally, we have been deprived of education and the opportunity to build a future. I was studying to become a doctor to help people, but fate did not allow this as my university, where I dreamed of studying, was destroyed. I have been overwhelmed with thoughts during this war—how will I build my future? How will I complete my studies?
We also suffer from fear and terror due to bombings, fire belts, and explosives. Hospitals, which are the lifeline for every sick and needy person, have also been destroyed. We face a shortage of medicines and vaccines while diseases increase and ravage us, with no solution in sight as there are no hospitals or medical supplies available here in Gaza. We live in constant fear for my younger siblings because they haven't received their general vaccinations, particularly after the widespread outbreak of polio due to the lack of cleaning supplies and the massive accumulation of waste in the streets. The streets are also flooded with sewage, posing a grave threat to our children. My brother suffered from jaundice, battling it for about two weeks with fatigue, dizziness, and other symptoms. It's a deadly disease, and as mentioned before, there’s no treatment available due to the destruction of hospitals and health centers.
We are also suffering from the absence of cooking gas, forcing us to use wood and plastic to start fires, which could lead to poisoning. We've been without electricity since October 7, spending days in darkness, causing immense fear in my younger siblings. This has also made it extremely difficult to charge our phones and batteries for lighting at night. We had to travel kilometers from our home to find places with electricity, incurring high costs to charge our phones and batteries.
Moreover, we have had no stable income since the beginning of the war after our agricultural land was destroyed.

Despite the suffering and hardships of this fierce war , your support and assistance ease us and grant us power and patience. Your contribution keeps a whole family safe, that is why i am asking you to donate whatever you can of at least share my link so that other donors can know about my tragedy and pain.
Help Kareem and Carmen Evacuate from Gaza!
Tumblr media
"I am Yousef Hussein, from Gaza and residing in America. Me and my family have been in America for two years. Kareem and Carmen, the twins of my sister, are in desperate need to evacuate from Gaza. Their mother was killed with her family of 8 people after their house was directly bombed. Since the beginning of the war on Gaza, I have provided all the financial assistance I can to them and the remaining family trapped there."
Tumblr media
"The children, Kareem & Carmen, have been displaced with my father, mother, and my sisters in southern Gaza. They all now shelter in tents for those displaced in the siege. In light of the winter weather and the bitter cold, and ongoing bombardment, we fear for them every minute of every day."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"The twins are in dire need of getting out of Gaza, especially after the deterioration of their psychological & health conditions, and especially after the loss of their parents. The cost of getting out of Gaza via the Rafah land crossing into Egypt is very expensive and ranges from 5-7 thousand dollars per person. There are a total of six family members, including the twins, trying to evacuate at this time. I ask you to help me in this ordeal because I am unable to cover this amount."
As of writing this,
$12,332 USD has been raised for their $50,000 goal.

Hello 👋 my 💚generous 💔supporters 🍉
I am a Palestinian medicine student from bleeding😥😪 Gaza , seeking to find safety and peace for my family that has been in constant sufferings and hardship for almost ten months. 😰😰😰
Since the outbreak of the war, we have been exposed to death several times, but God has granted me and my family more life. In addition to the threat coming out of the war, the daily struggling and hardship for getting basic necessities for the family are a big challenge. We try just to get the least and simplest necessities of our life.
Tumblr media
The lack of our basic necessities like drink water makes our lives seriously threatened and objected to many diseases. Food, water, medicine and health care aren’t available as needed , so one can easily notice the high living costs. Everything has become scarce and rare and this of course adds more to our sufferings and tragedy. Life has become too harsh and tough to bear it . We daily wait in the morning queue to fill a gallon of drink water for the whole family.
Tumblr media
Our life has become dire and terrible as no houses to shelter us but small dirty tents are supposed to be our new houses. Imagine these unbelievable living conditions. Everything has turned against us , but there is still the hope of having generous people to stand with us to pass through this tough and dire time.
So i am asking you dear generous supporters and donors to help us surpass this tragedy , especially after we had lost all our possessions and belongings and my father has become jobless. With your support , you make a difference and draw smiles on families’ faces . You lessen pressure and loads lifted on our shoulders. Life pain is getting bigger with the war.
Please help me reach my goal to meet my family’s basic needs and move them to safety till the war ends.

Hi compassionate souls
I am asking you to support my campaign to help my family survive the gruesome war over Gaza to safety and peace.
Life has become incredibly harsh, tough and full of hardship and painful suffering. We lack all he basic living essentials and necessities such as food, water, medicine and other needs.
The war has made our life hopeless and desperate. My four-member family has been going through the hardest days they have ever experience for almost eleven months due to the disastrous war.
My daughter was injured in the neck by the bombing, and she is currently suffering from moving it and needs physical therapy. Also, my wife is pregnant and needs medicines and vitamins as a result of malnutrition.
The war has taken every beautiful thing from us, leaving us homeless, displaced and jobless.
The rising prices of all necessary items of life has complicated our living conditions especially when all our savings were spent over the least necessities and needs.
So I am now asking you to lessen and minimize our burdens and loads of life through your contribution. You can help my family survive through donating whatever you can or reposting my messages.

Hello! Please direct your attention to this post and help a family in Gaza. This person is asking for support and is lacking food, water, medicine, and other needs. Their family of 4 have been struggling due to the genocide, their daughter was struck in her neck by a bomb and she is currently in need of physical therapy. Their wife is pregnant and needs prenatal vitamins and regular vitamins due to malnutrition. The genocide has destroyed their home leaving them without a place to sleep and without a place to work. Prices are rising and without a job it is hard and almost impossible to buy necessities, an egg used to cost $0.10 but now costs $2.60 for a SINGULAR egg. Please do everything that you can; reblog, share, or donate.

Reprisal | Chapter Eighteen
coriolanus snow x gaul oc
Summary: Ten years after the Tenth Hunger Games, Coriolanus Snow is under Dr. Volumnia Gaul’s wing as a Gamemaker alongside her niece. Unbeknownst to either of them, they’re both being prepared for a much greater task.
Warning: This story will contain explicit violence against adults and children alike (I mean, it’s Dr. Gaul AND Snow) as well as explicit language, and sexual situations.
***This fic is in no way, shape, or form, me endorsing or co-signing the horrific shit Snow does, nor am I trying to romanticize it. Also, apathy and will be the main driving force of any remnants of a relationship between my OC and Snow’s character. So if you’re interested in something very romantic and fluffy…it’s not gonna be this.
Thank you for reading, I hope you like it!
Tumblr media
“. . .Dr. Pinnacle is right. I haven’t seen any combat. Nor have I had to drag any of my fellow soldiers’ bodies to safety while they bleed out from their war wounds . . .” He trails off, vivid images of Livia’s father chopping into the frozen carcass of his dead maid in the street re-entering his mind.
His dead mother.
His murdered father.
“. . . Most of us didn’t.” He adds, raising his brows. “However, I wouldn’t go as far to say I can’t comprehend the cost of war. I know the cost of war — much like every citizen of the Capitol who was old enough to be affected by the three years of confusion, pain, and suffering each of us endured. My grandmother, my cousin, and myself starved – we all starved. . .” Coriolanus adds, furrowing his brows as he glances at Pias and sees him roll his jaw, already knowing where this is going, but Coriolanus only throws salt in the wound when he briskly adds, “Not even accounting for the lives lost due to lack of resources, like my mother and baby sister who passed in childbirth. Or those who fell in battle like my father, and left their families riddled with grief and the harsh readjustment of no longer having them present once the war was done with, or those who did return but were mutilated from war wounds, visible and invisible, and were no longer the same people they had been when they had been drafted, and had to readjust accordingly.” He continues, raising his brows. “So, you all might understand my concern and disappointment that Dr. Pinnacle equates comprehending the hardships of war with whether one was in the thick of combat, or not. My disgust with his backwards way of thinking is only amplified by the fact that his very own fiancee lost all four of her brothers during the war. And more recently, lost her four year old daughter at the hands of rebels!”
There’s a shift in the audience and Tawny is standing to her feet, chest heaving as her heart hammers, and Snow looks at Pias directly.
“ – Yet you have the audacity to stand here and say that she, myself, and all the Citizens of the Capitol know nothing of the cost of war –”
“Mr. Snow, you cannot address Dr. Pinnacle direct –”
“ – When we all have scars that prove that we , and the people we loved, paid for it!” Snow ignores Lucky’s attempt to get him back in line with debate regulations.
A pin could be heard dropping if someone decided to do so, the packed out University Auditorium collectively holding their breaths awaiting Pias’ reaction of his own love being weaponized against him.
It’s even more effective being as Tawny hadn’t even spoken of Tullia with him.
In fact, he had completely forgotten she had a child at all, as he never paid attention to her truly until after she became a Gamescientist.
Then, something more sinister begins to settle in his mind upon this realization.
His concocted plot with Dr. Gaul, to bomb the arena to change the terrain in hopes of a better show, ultimately murdered his fiancee’s child.
And she has no inkling of an idea it truly hadn’t been rebels.
He can see it in Coriolanus’ eyes, the blue hues looking at him in resentment, disgust, horror, rage, fury . . . he knows the truth. It’s why Snow sharply added it, his venom spewing.
But how does he know, is Dr. Pinnacle’s question.
Philo Marius nervously watches the screen as the two men stare one another down, Coriolanus’ chest rising and falling with each deep breath.
He can feel the fury rolling off of him in waves.
To anyone else it probably appears that he’s glaring at his competition, as opponents do, but Philo, Tawny, Livia, and Tigris know very well that he’s seething.
Only Philo, and now Pias himself, know it’s not just because of Dr. Pinnacle’s statement.
Not another word is spoken between the two men as Pias rips his microphone from himself, Lucky pipes, “Dr. Pinnacle, if you leave the stage, it may reflect poorly –” He shuts up when Pias tosses the microphone that had been pinned to him onto the floor and leaves the stage despite Lucky’s advice not to.
Tawny doesn’t wait to see how Lucky wraps it up as professionally as he can, abruptly shoving herself past Philo and Cyrus to exit the room and find Pias.
He’s storming toward her, and she’s immediately stating, “It’s okay,” grasping at his hand only for him to snatch away from her, her touch making him nauseated as embarrassment shutters through him as he grits out, “It’s not okay.”
“Pias.” She speaks gently, taking his hand once more, her other gloved hand caressing his cheek to get him to look at her, “It’s okay –”
“ – It’s not!” He barks yanking away from her before harshly demanding, “Why didn’t you tell me?!”
She knows he’s referring to Tullia, and she struggles to find an answer.
She assumed everyone she worked with knew at one point or another.
With prompted applause from the crowd, Snow exits the stage, Pias’ eyes flickering in that direction, his steps following his own gaze.
“Pias, no!” Tawny hisses, grabbing his wrist.
Her tugs don’t slow him down as he tears his way toward Coriolanus who is kissing his wife’s cheek.
“Pias!” She shouts it to give Snow a warning, and he’s turning to see Dr. Pinnacle barreling toward him.
Albus Shoemake, who had decided to watch the debate on one of the monitors closer to the stage, intercepts them upon seeing Pias’ line of sight.
“Dr. Pinnacle,” He starts, in his way.
“Move, Albus.”
“Your career , Pias. Presidency or not. Your career . All you have worked for.” Albus states quietly. “It will all be gone.”
Pias calms, taking in a breath, swallowing thickly, before slowly nodding, giving Tawny and Albus both the impression that he’s gotten his wits about him.
Perhaps he had for a moment, until the horror show that was Coriolanus ripping him to shreds, weaponizing his own fiancee against him, confirming to him he knows what Dr. Gaul and Pias had done to Tawny’s daughter . . .
Pias charges past Albus, fist balling up as he shouts, “Snow, you son of a bitch!”
“Pinnacle!” Albus tries to grab at him.
He blindly swings, seeing red, only hearing the blood curdling scream after his fist knocks into teeth.
His vision clears to see Livia Snow on the ground, a shower of red pouring from her as she silently cries like an overwhelmed child, paralyzed by pain from several of her teeth being shattered.
All he recalls next is Snow abruptly lunging at him, unable to seek his retribution due to the Peacekeepers peeling the two men away from one another.
      Mortified was an understatement.
Utterly embarrassed, humiliated, so much so that she was tempted to lay across the train tracks and go to that place of eternal sleep.
The Justice Building is freezing despite the frigid air outside, the sickly clean, crisp air burning Tawny’s nostrils as she waits in the uncomfortable steel chair in the lobby.
“He’s in the process of being booked. I’ll let you know when, or if , he can be released tonight,” The clerk had informed her upon inquiring about Pias’ whereabouts
He’d been arrested quickly after his fight with Snow had been interrupted.
The two men had both been brought here.
Once they release Pias, they may have to get her next for getting him as soon as they get into the parking lot.
Eventually, the metal doors click open, Tawny coming to her feet expecting to see someone willing to speak with her about her fiancé.
Instead, she’s met with Snow’s sharp gaze as he flatly states, “He’s still being questioned.”
He hopes she’ll leave him be and stay so he can focus on finding Livia and going to her, but Tawny can’t miss her opportunity to rip into him until she’s able to rip into Pias, following him out of the building.
“You should have kept your mouth shut about me, my brothers, and my daughter.” She says when the freezing air hits them. “I appreciate you defending me but you had no right to use us for your political gain.”
“It had nothing to do with me defending you or my policial gain. I was insulted, and you should have been, too.” He snaps back to her, the two of them stepping down the marble steps. “My point was made either way, and he pitched a tantrum because he knew he was wrong.”
“You had no valid grounds to bring me or them into this,” She grabs his wrist to pull him to a halt, causing him to huff out a breath.
“No, he had no valid grounds to turn his nose up and get on his soap box to minimize everything and everyone we have all lost. All on a technicality that most of us weren’t shooting rebels left and right out in the districts.” He grits out to her through his teeth, finger pointing at her. “And if you want to defend him so valiantly then go ahead, but I’ve always thought more highly of you than aligning yourself with someone so asinine .” He hisses. “Though you did spend fourteen years with Dyess Crane so I shouldn’t be perplexed by your unwavering loyalty to his equally moronic successor—”
“ — Oh, please, Snow, give me a fucking break — ”
“ — You truly know how to pick them, Tawny.” It’s ranted out, seeing the hurt in her face as the words spill from him.
“You gave me no other choice!” She raises her voice, bitterly. “You’re with her . You chose her . You stayed with her . You’re about to have a baby with her !”
“Keep your voice down!” He scolds her quietly, yanking her closer to him. “We are not having this conversation.” He adds harshly.
“Of course we’re not. It would make too much sense for someone so insistent on getting me to abandon every relationship I find myself in, to want to have a conversation about why that is.” She cuts out at him, taking deep breaths to soothe her hounding heart.
It’s on the tip of his tongue, his recent finding, the plethora of redacted information Dr. Gaul held so close.
The arena bombing that took place a decade ago, the precious Capitol lives it took with it.
Felix Ravinstill.
Tullia Gaul.
How it had been Pias’ idea to bomb it in the first place.
Just like Dyess Crane, Tawny’s oblivious to his lies and deception.
It seems Coriolanus is the only lover she’s had that hadn’t kept such secrets from her.
But now he has to.
With Pinnacle unofficially — but officially — out of running for President due to his acquired criminal charge, Coriolanus is the last man standing.
Which means protecting the institution of the Capitol over his own personal relationships has never been more imperative.
He stares at Tawny, those words still on the tip of his tongue, but instead, he says to her, “I’d like to know why it is you’re so desperate to be underneath someone that you can’t see who they truly are until they do something horrendous like sabotaging your career, or assaulting a pregnant woman.”
He gets his desired effect, her full lips sealing shut as she thinks of what to respond with, what to cut him back deeper with.
But she can’t.
“If you’ll excuse me, I have to get to the hospital — you know, a busted up wife with a stressed out fetus by the hand of your fiance, and whatnot.”
She closes her eyes and lets out a shuddered breath with his words, and he’s walking away when she opens them back up again, guilt eating her alive.
Coriolanus arrives at Capitol General with a swiftness in each step as soon as he exits his car, tapping impatiently on the resting rail in the elevator, irritated with each passing second until he approaches reception and asks, “Livia Snow?”
“Just over there, Mr. Snow,” she points to a row of beds all encircled with privacy curtains. “Third one from the left.”
He sees Philo standing outside of the curtain, and pipes, “Thank you,” before heading toward him.
His chest tightens at the sight of Livia’s bruised face, her chin black and purple, swollen with her lips.
She’s asleep, as at ease as she can be.
“Several of her teeth are gone, they suggest implants when the baby is born. Her jaw is fractured — they said when you got here they would come and explain things better in depth. They’re giving her mild painkillers that are safe for pregnancy — they were vague as to what those were exactly, but she eased off about an hour ago. She was hysterical when we first got here.” He explains to Snow. “The nurse came in and said the baby’s fine. Tigris left after that and took Cyrus home.”
“I should have kept my mouth shut.” Coriolanus admits, hating the fact he agrees with Tawny.
“Mr. Snow, the debate was a success. You won. Pias is going to be out of the running.” Philo tells him, reassuringly.
“My opponent assaulted my wife.” He scoffs, rubbing his forehead.
“Because you made a rather outstanding point. How can a President undermine his people and discount their sacrifices? He’s too out of touch. Too arrogant. I wouldn’t have felt comfortable with him running the country.” Philo continues, seeing Snow’s apprehension still evident on this face.
He moves closer so not a soul more can hear what he says, next, “I wouldn’t have felt comfortable with having a President who knowingly put the lives of Capitol children at risk all in the name of better entertainment.” He whispers, honestly.
Accident or not, Dr. Pinnacle knew Capitol citizens and their children toured around outside the arena each year the Hunger Games had been held there.
He knew the risk, he merely didn’t care.
Snow thinks for a moment, rolling his jaw, looking at his bruised wife.
She’s going to need dental implants for ruined teeth.
On the bright side, perhaps they’ll wire her jaw shut.
He then thinks of their daughter, still trying to grow and absorb all the nutrients she can.
Will she get fed enough if her mother can’t eat normal food?
Wincing at the thought, he’s interrupted with a tug at the curtain, revealing Dr. Gaul.
He bristles at her presence, rolling his jaw, and she holds the same expression, unamused with his performance tonight during the debate.
“Mr. Snow, a word.” She says to him, to which he quips, “I’m waiting for her doctor.”
“A word. Mr. Snow.” It’s repeated intensely, different colored eyes glaring at him flatly.
He feels as if he’s back to a teenager under her guidance once more.
After their success as somewhat of a team in his last few weeks at the Academy, when she had fully taken him under her wing at the University, he did everything with her approval of it in mid.
They thought so alike that anything that would make her proud – any law, bill, new idea to be implemented into the Games – he could think of, he would jump at the opportunity to do so, and he hadn’t been steered wrong, yet.
But knowing what he now knows about that bombing, how she covered it up, allowed it to continue to be blamed on non-existent Capitol rebels, allowed her great-niece to be blown to bits. . .allowed Pias to go unpunished for such stupidity. . .
He sees her differently.
Truly a loose canon in her complacency.
He frees himself of the confines of the small space of Livia’s makeshift room, searching for any place with large enough space to withstand near Dr. Gaul without showing his repulsion.
She doesn’t know he knows the truth.
He doesn’t want her to know that he knows.
“That was uncalled for tonight.” She states, her eye twitching. “A petty attack of a personal life that has no business in politics.”
“Much like him belittling me due to my age, correct?” He furrows his brows, earning a small sigh from her. “He’s an infant in an adult's body, pitching a hissy fit because a twenty-eight year old has already made a mockery of his career, and is now gunning for his Presidential run, as well. A Presidential run that I also put to rest, so he’s more than likely planning my assassination  as we speak.”
She doesn’t speak for a moment, looking at him for a few minutes before stating, “There are some who believe it would be best for you to get some time away from the Capitol for a little while.”
Coriolanus rolls his jaw, feeling his nostrils flare with irritation at his words.
“What exactly is that supposed to mean?”
“It means only a select few know of what Dr. Pinnacle did to Mrs. Snow, so he still has loyal supporters in the Capitol that are not very fond of you. Once he announces he’s exiting the race, he will endorse you. All while you travel to a few select districts to address whispers of rebellion, and ease their. . . concerns .”
“Excuse me?” He feels sick at the thought of stepping foot anywhere surrounded by District mongrels, let alone mongrels that itch for another uprising. “Throwing me out into districts that want me dead?”
“You won’t be by yourself.” She informs him. “Mr. Marius is going with you, as well as Dr. Gaul.”
Dr. Gaul.
It’s a sick sense of humor she has.
A mad woman entertained with the idea of watching Tawny and him both squirm with the uncomfortable ghost of their previous affair, added on to the already uncomfortable atmosphere of any and every District they’ll be sent to.
Then he remembers every step she gives him to take is merely a test.
“Another test?” He asks her, accusatory, watching her smile truly, unaware of her reasoning behind it.
“Consider it your last one.” She assures him.
“What about my wife?” He demands, next.
“Mrs. Snow will remain here in the Capitol at her mother’s estate where we will fund personal doctors and nurses to give her the utmost care and attention while she prepares to birth your child.” She says next.
He looks at the ground, asking, “And Dr. Pinnacle?”
“No need to worry your mind with such matters.”

🇺🇸MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND🇺🇸
Unfortunately, today, way too many people look at Memorial Day as a recreational day, simply a later date from school or a settled day from work. Military families and families of countless veterans, on another hand, have been afflicted by the pain and suffering of seeing their brothers, husbands or children set off to war, you start with the American Revolution until today's actions in the Middle East, through the devastating Civil war, into World War I and II, and throughout the Vietnam and Korean Wars. In their mind, Memorial Day is just a day to think on their loss and suffering, and to honor those who have served to guard America's interests.
Saying goodbye to a family member you could at almost no time see again is probably the most devastating feeling a relative may perpetually have, because they only never truly know if that individual is coming back. Their heart skips a defeat everytime that the doorbell rings while their family member is abroad, performing the best duty they'll perpetually perform while they defend justice and the quest for liberty. In the home, though, their family members dread as soon as they open that door, since the pulse quickens and horrible thoughts of a note of imminent loss haunts them. They fear answering the phone. They dread reading their mail. Life itself becomes an apparently endless, helpless watch for news, hopefully good news, but potentially news of the worst possible kind.
For a few people, the lucky ones, they just endure worries of losing a family member in battle for a couple years, but that in and of itself might have long-lasting, life altering ramifications. Worries causes great stress, making families walk on eggshells for entire tours of duty, as children go without their mother or father for long periods of time. For too many, the headlines and the ramifications are worse. They lose a family member to war, or their family member is seriously injured, maimed, or psychologically damaged while they defend our nation and its interests.
Let's not your investment veterans themselves and the sacrifices they've made. We only have to start the headlines to start to see the hardships they face, the daily dangers they deal with, and the horrors they endure. Veterans are and have now been our protectors, our defenders, and often at great cost, even for the survivors of war. War itself is hell, since the famous saying goes, and these many, wonderful men and women have entered hell willingly for centuries to guard the America they love, and to create another for many Americans.
In just about any case you are able to consider, on Memorial Day, these veterans who protect us from dangers abroad, and who've protected us from dangers for centuries, deserve our respect and our remembrance, and yet Memorial Day 2024 Weekend has converted into a cook out once you start the pool for the summer.
"Traditional observance of Memorial day has diminished on the years. Many Americans nowadays have forgotten this is and traditions of Memorial Day. At many cemeteries, the graves of the fallen are increasingly ignored, neglected. Many people no further remember the appropriate flag etiquette for the day."
In days past, great parades were thrown in honor of the wonderful veterans. Cities and townships gave speeches and held Memorial galas. In Israel, even today, to celebrate their Memorial Day, their television lists the names of all of the dead they've lost to war, and that simple process takes all the day. Perhaps we don't need to attend quite that extreme to honor the veterans who've served to guard us, but nonetheless, our ambivalence towards the real meaning behind Memorial Day is just a bit much.
It's high time that people do remember the American veterans which have made Memorial day and those many cook outs and days off that the Holiday now symbolizes possible. This season, we must try to go to a battle memorial, the grave of an expert, or at the least stop in a minute of silence reserved for the numerous who've sacrificed their lives to guard and supply the wonderful lives and opportunities that people have open to us today. This season, we must also honor and remember the numerous sacrifices of the families of veterans and war heroes, because if you believe about any of it, they sacrificed a lot for many of us Americans themselves.… ‿ℒℴνℯ⁀❤️always with ℒℴѵℯ ❤️🕊🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐒 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐌 𝐀 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐀 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐃, warm hearted and pure – untouched by the weight of war, of pain and suffering. he knew one day she would grow up and lose that childlike innocence, but eddard stark prayed and hoped to each of the gods that she could have just a little longer. a little more time. a little… more. ❝ is that so? ❞ he asks, voice a rumble of laughter as his lips pull up on either side of his face. the smile is warm, crows feet pulling on either side of his eyes as they squinted against the smile that'd taken root. sansa was everything to him, not a son – not the heir to the stark name, but his daughter. and a lovely daughter at that.
gently, ned reaches out his hand to brush his thumb and index finger against her chin in an affectionate gesture, softening down at his little girl. she was gentler than her sister, a proper lady – albeit childish. not that he could blame her, she was but a child, and he had done everything in his power to keep her safe and well. to do good by her, by his family – no matter what that cost him. eddard stark was a man of honor, loyal and surefooted, even if he himself doubted his own means, he would not bend for anything. except, perhaps, his fiery-haired daughter. ❝ there may come a time in your life when I'm not here to protect you from them, ❞ he says, honest but all the more tender, ❝ but I will prepare you, your sister, and your brothers for them. ❞
his smile slips slowly, brows furrowing upwards in a mixture of perplexed and loving, ❝ but while I am here, I shall do all I can to keep you all safe. as your lord father, it’s my duty and my greatest honor. until the gods come for me, I shall protect each of you. your mother, too. ❞ ned cups each of her shoulders in his hands, warm and firm even now, and giving the slightest of squeezes. ❝ do you understand? ❞
perhaps she wouldn't. his daughter was but a girl, young and inexperienced, but he wanted her to know. he wanted all of his children to know that within his heart that they were his world, his everything. he would give them the best he could, serve diligently as their lord father, prepare them as best he could for the world they would inhabit after his passing. that they would be the lords and ladies of, passing these truths to their children, and their children's children. if he could do anything in the world – away from war, hardship, or the means of court life, it would be this. giving his children the best that they could have in this life while he still had time to do it.
