His gaze flicks up with what can only be mischief.

-“is a threat.”

Such words can be nothing but, though Verin doesn’t need to know that.

He continues with a growing grin, the last kind a cornered rabbit may see.

“They will like me and there is nothing you can do to stop me.”

Essek does nothing to stop the roll of his eyes if only to keep unease out of his hands and belly.

“Please, I’m lucky they met me first. Had you been around, they likely wouldn’t have given me a second glance.”

It certainly wouldn’t have been the first time.

But Verin eases to a shrug on this side of sincerity.

“I’m sure your reluctance finally had its charm.”

“Ah, ha.”

Perhaps that’s the case, given persistent sendings and requests, a bombardment of questions over dinner, repeatedly straightforward invitations to a hot tub, drinks. Company.

A sliver of fondness decides to carve a space in Essek’s chest.

“I suppose you’re right.”

☕️ ~ This man is a huge ler. THE ler of the group.

☕️ ~ Somehow happens to know where everyone is ticklish. Doesn’t even need to tickle them to know he just knows.

☕️ ~ Wallace won’t go out of his way to tickle someone nor does he get into ler moods I would say, but he does take the opportunity whenever it arrives because he finds it entertaining. Especially when it comes to Scott.

☕️ ~ Scott sleeps in quite a bit so Wallace resorts to tickling him out of bed a lot. He starts out gentle then gets annoyed if Scott still won’t get up. Then he tickles him until Scott is desperate to get out of bed begging to help cook breakfast.

☕️ ~ Copying this next headcanon from @happyandticklish because I love it so much-

☕️ ~ Wallace will just walk up behind Scott and grab his hips, not even tickling him yet, but Scott is already begging and giggling to be let go. Wallace will just lightly squeeze to hear Scott squeak. He does it constantly and out of nowhere.

☕️ ~ Wallace takes great care of his nails. He’s taken Scott to get manis and pedis before because Scott needed it.

☕️ ~ Wallace couldn’t help but giggle when Scott was too ticklish to not squirm around a bit for his pedicure. Wallace has gotten used to the feeling, but won’t ever admit that every now and then it tickles and catches him by surprise.

☕️ ~ He’s given Stacey random pokes to her sides and ribs before to make her scream. She gets so angry each time and he thinks it’s hilarious.

☕️ ~ While they were “going over lines” Todd found out Wallace was ticklish. And my gosh did he take advantage of it.

☕️ ~ Todd found it absolutely adorable that he could make Wallace all red in the face instead of the other way around for once.

☕️ ~ Plus, he finds Wallace’s laugh enchanting.

☕️ ~ Every little giggle and wheeze makes Todd’s heart melt. The fact alone that Wallace is ticklish was enough to make Todd fall in love with him all over again.

☕️ ~ What he hates even more is that he couldn’t deny to himself that it wasn’t a little fun. He even got Todd back quite a bit. Only because Todd let him though.

☕️ ~ Todd has for sure used his vegan powers to pin Wallace down while he tickles him and Wallace find it so unfair.

☕️ ~ Todd is the only one who has found out about Wallace being ticklish behind his ears.

☕️ ~ He was kissing his neck and gave him continuous kisses behind Wallace’s ear and Wallace couldn’t contain his giggles.

☕️ ~ Wallace didn’t even know he was ticklish there until Todd discovered it!!

☕️ ~ Past boyfriends/lovers have kissed his neck before, but none of them touched or kissed behind his ears.

☕️ ~ Todd found this to be the cutest thing on Earth. How Wallace’s voice got all high pitched and whiny when tickled and/or kissed there. How his nose and shoulders scrunch up if you wiggle your fingers lightly behind them. And best of all, when you blow a raspberry behind either of his ears and Wallace squeals.

☕️ ~ You read that right. He fucking squeals-

☕️ ~ They deserved more screen time together they were so cute and funny!!

☕️ ~ Wallace is insanely ticklish on his back.

☕️~ Both Todd and Scott have sat on this thighs while he’s on his stomach and tickled everywhere in his back.

☕️ ~ His lower back and shoulder blades are the absolute worst. They make him wheeze and cackle into silent laughter. He tries so hard to wiggle away and reach back to try and tickle back whoever’s tickling him.

☕️ ~ However, it always leads the person who’s tickling him to go for another bad spot which are his underarms.

☕️ ~ When Todd used his vegan powers to slowly expose his underarms then tickle them, Wallace absolutely died-

☕️ ~ His final worst spot is the back of his knees.

☕️ ~ The top of the knees don’t get a reaction, but the back have him shrieking with high pitched laughter. He can barely form words when he’s ticked there.

☕️ ~ He’s mildly ticklish on the other normal places, but all you’ll really get is a small little chuckle or huffy breaths.

☕️ ~ Wallace gets super giggly when he’s drunk and even more ticklish!!

☕️ ~ He’s even asked Scott for tickles before when he’s drunk and Scott uses it as blackmail. He would never actually tell and Wallace knows this.

☕️ ~ He is also much more touchy and lovey dovey when he’s drunk. So he’ll be all over Scott or whoever’s he’s dating at the time. All giggly with a little pink on his face and slurring his words.

☕️ ~ Wallace has tickle attacked Scott when he’s drunk before and Scott doesn’t know if it tickles more when he’s sober or drunk.

☕️ ~ Wallace will drunkingly tackle Scott onto the bed and lazily scribble and poke everywhere he can reach. Scott cannot move and loses himself in laughter.

☕️ ~ Wallace won’t stop until Scott manages to tickle him back and overpower him, or Wallace stops and fall asleep on top of him.

☕️ ~ Very ticklish to raspberries on his back. Scott always does it as the big finally whenever he manages to fully pin down Scott.

☕️ ~ Scott actually convinced Ramona to help him tickle Wallace a few times.

☕️ ~ Then to make it up to him she helped Wallace get Scott back tenfold. The two exchange tickly secrets about him.

☕️ ~ They sometimes do it while they’re tickling him and it makes Scott’s face go bright red.

☕️ ~ While I did think Todd and Wallace were adorable, we have to include some tickly hcs for him and Mobile 💖

☕️ ~ Mobile was the second person to find out about the spot behind his ears. And he takes every chance he can get tickle him there.

☕️ ~ Scott also spilled all of Wallace’s tickly secrets to Mobile.

☕️ ~ Wallace only ever gets lee moods with Mobile. Doesn’t even have to be drunk! He gets all fake pouty and blushy and pretends he doesn’t know what’s wrong.

☕️ ~ Mobile always knows when Wallace is in a mood. And he thinks it’s adorable. His teases make Wallace crumble.

☕️ ~ That doesn’t Wallace doesn’t get him back though. Wallace loves making his husband laugh and dishing out revenge.

☕️ ~ His favorite technique is to kiss Mobile’s neck while giving him a tickle hug from behind.

☕️ ~ Overall, I need to see this man get wrecked to pieces 💖

You don't remember how this happened. First you just went to sleep for the next day to begin, but instead you wake up in such a hassle situation. Where are you? Why are there so many coffins? The horror on your face grows more when you meet the headmage.

Headmage? Gosh, You feel so sick. Seeing coffins float and that.. Cat, fire thing, You thought you were in some kind of dream. That is until you tripped between your feet, stumbling infront of the headmage.

So many floating books.. You wonder once again; Are you perhaps dead? It's either dead or dreaming. But one part of you whispers it's real. You're in this world. You don't think you can get out.

You meet the mirror everybody calls 'dark mirror'. You see the reason why it's named like that. But you still don't understand. Was that some kind of connection to the flowers you were looking at, or the horse with a carriage in the dark forest on your way home a few system hours ago?

Honestly, you don't even know. Your confusions confused the headmage more that he ended up calling a bunch of people and dragging you closer to them.

"Rosehearts, Please handle this... Poor student.." Crowley sighs in defeat, He wasn't able to understand the issue you're in. But based on your hair, makeup and accessories.. "Hey, That came from the 50's. I remember my great grandma having those." Deuce points at your necklace. "Dude, You remember your great grandparents?" Ace crosses his arms and looks at you.

"That could be just a necklace from their great grandma." Riddle replies. You're starting to have a crisis. "Also, that's preeetty impossible to be from the past, I'd say O-M-G if they really came from the 50's centuryyy-" Cater holds his phone up, trying to get a signal.

Riddle sighs, grabbing the phone from Cater's hand. "Instead of slacking off, why don't you help with figuring this out?" He narrows his eyes. "That or another 300 page book."

"Housewarden! Not the books..." Cater sighs. Trey looks at the two before looking at you, walking closer. "Hey, What year do you remember you're in?" He asks you. Out of the ordinary, sure, but anything is possible in this world.

"...1957?"

Deuce spits out the water from his mouth, coughing intensely. "Dude, Ew." Ace whispers. Dude? "O-M-G.. What?!"

"What are you all saying?" You look at all of them, and your focus stops on their dorm uniform. It looks so.. Strange. Strange in your perspective because you were only used to people wearing suits and dresses. Seeing their modern fashion makes you inspired yet confused, because why are they acting like you came from the past?

"Also, What is THAT you're holding?" You point at Riddle. "..A mobile phone?"

"What is a mobile phone?!" You ask. "..O-oh! It's uhm-"

"Ah- I don't need to hear it, Actually. We always used Telephones, If anything, We rarely even get to use it because of teenage duties!"

Everyone falls silent. "..Did we need to know that information?" Ace asks. Deuce elbows his arm. "Be nice!.." He whispers to Ace.

"Teenage Duties??" Cater mumbles to himself, thinking you didn't hear him when you indeed did. "You know, Duties?! Do you not do those anymore? A mental exercise for one's mind?"

Everyone shakes their heads, Even Riddle. "What?! You know- Back in my day, It was always a requirement to do exercises by walking around town, Drive-in Theaters, listening to music as you garden and dance practices with partners!"

"Uh, Does painting the roses red count as 'teenage duties'?.." Cater whispers to Trey. "You do what now." Riddle replies, right behind Cater. He looks behind and laughs. "Ah! Nothing Housewarden! Totally nothing!"

"Off with your head!"

"Wait! Wait wait wait wait- Drive-in Theaters?" Deuce tilts his head to the side. "Why are you so confused? Don't tell me you also don't have those now?!"

"Quit overreactin'. We're in the modern times now. Not some boring century where you use typewriters to write to your 'loves'." Ace looks away. "Hey! It is NOT boring! Back in my day, Kids like you are always so kind!" You point at him. "Mx, We're literally the same age." He talks back.

"I don't care! And do you mean you never used a typewriter before? It's the most popular letter writing technique ever!"

"..And we don't belong in that century so we don't use that."

"You mean you've never used a typewriter?!"

"..No?? We don't used a typewriter anymore???." Deuce mumbles, still confused at your remarks. Trey looks at Riddle, Who looks absolutely amazed. "I always thought how living in the 50's would be like." Riddle walks closer to you and looks at your hairstyle. "Oh!- Why thank you..-"

"Riddle. Riddle Rosehearts."

"My, My, that's quite an elegant name." You place a hand on you cheek, pressing it and smiling. Oh, how sweet of him. He totally didn't use his magic on that other boy just minutes ago.

"Oh- How about you try typing in a mobile phone?" Cater suggests. "Finally, For once you're helping." Riddle nods, giving Cater his phone back. Cater opens up an app for notes, and gives it to you. "Try typing anything."

You hold the phone in your hands, Seeing the keyboard on the screen. "What is.." Trey chuckles, before you finish your question that everyone already knows what you're gonna ask. "Just think of this as a typewriter." Trey points at the keyboard on the screen.

You squint your eyes, typing out a hello, that ends up turning to a whole entire letter. Cater takes his phone away from you. "Woah there! We just asked you to type out hello, not a whole document!"

"Is nobody gonna talk about how they type like a grandparent?" Ace points out. "Seriously, The best we can do is just teach them atleast a bit of this year. I feel bad for them having a crisis everywhere." Deuce whispers. Trey nods.

"Mm, Maybe I should go bake them something. Maybe that'll help them feel better." Trey takes his leave, heading towards the kitchen as it only left the four to handle your crisis. "Okayy, Let's just teach you all abou this.. Mind listening?" He asks you. You shake your head. "I don't mind. It would actually help me understand better."

"Great! So, let's begin." Cater points at the random whiteboard that appeared beside him.

"Where did you get that?" Riddle confusedly questions. "Doesn't matter! Anyways-"

"Let's start with.."

You listen to Cater, but while he babbles all about modern technology, And the other Three seated right beside you on the couch, you thought to yourself.. This place isn't that bad at all. Confusing, but maybe I'll get used to it someday.

Hi honey! How are you? How’s your mom doing? I hope she’s better now🥺💚

I’ve recently decided to learn how to book bind bc it’s a must to have my fav fanfics as actual books. I’m still learning and it’s probably gonna take a while before I get the results I want but I wanted to ask you if it was okay with you to book bind The Red Thread? Obviously it would be just for me, I would not sell it or make any profits. (And if it turns out how I want to, I would love to gift you one👀)

It’s one of my favourite fanfics of all time, like it’s a masterpiece and I would love to have a physical copy of it<3

And I know it’s not finished yet but it’d probably have to be a few volumes anyways bc it’s a lot so😅

She's doing ok! Progress is slow but it's definitely happening! She's graduated from at-home physical therapy to outpatient, which is a HUGE thing. We've gotten the house pretty well set up too now (chair lift for a section of stairs not covered before, new railing on the front steps), and between me, dad, and sis's various sleep schedules, we're all able to make sure she has someone nearby when she needs help getting around or opening things. I'm still in caretaker mode and trying to balance everything, but she's getting there, so I hold onto that! As for me, I'm doing... ok I think, considering how exhausting and brutal the past few months have been. I'm taking @shouldbestudying41 's advice and just trying to be kind to myself, and I'll admit my brain seriously needed the break. I continue to miss Cato something awful, but I've felt a little more settled since his ashes came home, and I think I'm starting to adjust to sleeping without him next to my pillow. I also got my follow-up today with my cardiologist on my heart issues and their answer was basically a shrug and a, 'we have no idea why your heart's doing this, but it's getting better every time we test you, so keep doing what you're doing!' Which could be worse. So... I'm getting there. Slow and steady!

And oh my gosh, you absolutely, ABSOLUTELY can bookbind TRT, thank you! 😭The idea anyone would love it enough to bookbind makes me SO FUCKING HAPPY! Hell, if I could sell copies at cost I would, but sadly that's a huge no no and all I can do legally is tell people, YES you can bookbind TRT for your shelf! I'm 100% supportive basically (also I would D I E if I got one, like no pressure at all cause D A Y U M it's a long thing to bind, and also just knowing it's out there on someone's shelf is more than I ever expected would happen so I'm delighted even if you just bind for you!).

TRT volumes one to ten maybe??? LOL. I know I had it planned as a series originally before I decided to just kinda keep it in one thing since we were all already there LOL.

*A quick question from an awed procrastinator*

How do you make so many AUs and stories?

(even if something is my hyperfixation and I love doing it, I still go at a snails pace, and I was wondering if you have any "weird tricks" or things that help you finish faster?)

Also also, your AUs are some of my favorites, the angst, the comfort, and the art is just *chef's kiss*

Oh gosh, I mean, part of the answer is procrastination? I'm very lucky that both the job I'm currently at (so far, at least, fingers crossed) and the job I had previously allows me to kind of do my own thing during downtime, so long as I stay on top of all my work responsibilities. Getting to write/draw is like the little reward I get when my work is done u w u And so sometimes a part of my day also involves... avoiding doing work things for a little while by writing or drawing instead. Not Doing Boring Work Tasks is a great motivator for creative projects, lol.

I also just have tend to draw pretty fast, lmao, and I am also hugely motivated by attention u w u I am again very lucky in the sense that a lot of you lovely folks on tumblr decided you liked the stuff I made pretty early on in my TMNT stint, and I am blessed with tags and comments and replies engaging in my work, which is HUGELY motivating. I wanna work on my projects because I wanna get to post them and see what people think!!! I wanna hear what people have to say about the next step in the story!!!

I guess the best advice I have is to not be afraid of shortcuts, especially at the beginning. Let some stuff happen off-screen. Exposition dump every now and again. Copy and paste is your friend. Etc etc etc. Let go of the idea of 'this needs to be perfect' and embrace 'it just needs to be done.' Not every scene or paragraph or panel or even comic I make is going to be a showstopper. But phoning some stuff in makes it easier for me to REALLY lay into that one big dramatic part of the story where I really want it to count. And if I spend forever fussing over the set-up at the beginning, I'm never gonna get to the dramatic scene, anyway! So just do it. Worry about quality control later. Just make it first. Sometimes you don't feel like writing or drawing or doing whatever. Do it anyway.

(Having fandom friends who can hype you up and you can send things to as you're making it is very helpful, too!)

Let’s talk VISION BOARDS

I am a little late to the start of the year but let’s talk VISION BOARDS!

oh my gosh i LOVE vision boards. Every. Single. Thing. i put on my vision board last year manifested - and boy i was NOT good at manifesting (i was overthinking, spiralling, constantly dipping out of believing in manifesting and myself.)

Low effort and loads of fun i absolutely recommend vision boards.

I mentioned in a previous post that part of how vision boards work is by familiarising your brain with seeing the people/places/objects etc on your vision board and partly with emotions! feeling like its all yours now.

So, how can we put an effective vision board together?

Well first, what do you want your year to look like?

your vision board can be for any amount of time, but i think year long ones are most common <3 (it doesn’t mean the manifestations will take a whole year!)

You can start with a pen and paper (or notes app) and write down what you want the next year to look like:

It may help to have some headings to organise sections of life. for example:

Career

Relationships

Travel

Experiences/ events

Material Goods

Then you can find specific people/places/things you want to manifest such as a specific career, car or ipad. A specific type of love language e.t.c.

Second lets get some useful apps:

- Pinterest (of course!)

- Picsart (or any photo collaging app or website)

(OR ALTERNATIVELY you can print out individual photos, cut, organise and glue down your photos on a piece of cardstock/paper or poster board- the world is your oyster baby!)

Apps in tow we can move onto the Third step

finding good pictures!

In my vision board from 2023 i didn’t think too hard about pictures - i found pictures that represented what i wanted, i whacked em where i thought they looked good, printed that baby out and slapped it next too my desk where i looked at it all the time. Not purposefully because i took the time to, but rather just because i would automatically be pulled to look at the bright colours whenever i went to sit down at my desk (and when i would die in my games and need to look away from my screen :P ).

While deciding to do a vision board for 2024 -only during this process did i check my 2023 vision board and realise everything manifested- i watched lots of youtube videos from people whose vision boards were successful. it gave me motivation and enthusiasm to make my vision board and i learned a couple handy tricks along the way:

due to my copy and paste not working on tumblr for some reason, i am going to list the youtubers at the end rather than linking them.

- Using pictures from YOUR point of view

select pictures where it looks like you are already in it - e.g. wanting to read loads in 2024? pictures of someone (with your skin tone) reading with the book in their lap (example pics at the end)

You can also take this further and cut out your own face and put it over people in pictures - sounds silly but it worked for Tam Kaur! (check her out)

- Find pictures that truly invoke the emotions you want to feel

want to be given flowers? don’t settle for any picture of someone giving flowers, find the one that makes you feel the way you feel when you imagine it happening. The one that makes it feel real and heartwarming.

- Make sure you enjoy looking at the pictures/ layout you use!

you are gonna look at this and ingest it subconsciously all the time, so make sure it looks nice! Hopefully the emotions you feel from the pictures will already help this - but we wanna make sure the underlying subconscious message is “this is all already mine” not “oh god i hate this thing”

- Putting it somewhere you often look

if you’re like me, you might not have a manifestation routine and don’t want to consciously decide to spend five minutes staring at the vision board. I placed the vision board next to my desk and schedule, i looked at it every time i sat down - especially because i liked the photos so much it always caught my eye - and whenever i looked away from my screen. Honestly i truly believe in keeping my manifestations to myself till after they materialise in the 3D, mostly because of the stress of having other people think you’re crazy - i know that this is also my fault due to everyone is you pushed out, but i feel like for a lot of baby manifesters this is a familiar feeling. Manifestation is your own journey - do not let anyone take away your belief or chip at your self concept!

Okay, so! I’m a very big maladaptive day dreamer. I’m always thinking of scenarios or things happening to get me through the day. Also, my mood heavily affects what the story is about.

So, when I watch a new show, or read a book, I automatically think of a character that would fit into the show. Whether this character is literally a copy and paste of another character, or a more flushed out character or whatever. Sometimes I just put me into the show.

Honestly, small scenarios are what motivate me. Of which spiral into full on fanfics. (Fun fact, that’s what happened with the Sukuna fic. I imagined an argument between them.)

Honestly, just go for it! Start writing something out, and once you do you have the hardest step done. Just have fun with it babe!🩷🩷

I saw you posted a post questioning why Starline would have made Kit so insecure and depressed and would like to throw in my two cents if you're willing to listen (or just ignore this if you don't want to, I won't be offended.)

There could be multiple reasons why Kit turned out the way he did and I thought about some more and how it could relate to either his past self or his brainwashing.

1) Kits depression and self doubt could have been an unexpected byproduct of his original self, after all that happened to him its understandable, however Starline could have seen it as useful. Kit's whole purpose is to be Surges sidekick, he might have used this as means to keep him loyal and subservient to her. Starline has played sidekick to Eggman and after getting the tiniest bit of confidence in his own ability, he stepped out of Eggmans shadow and became his own villain. If Kit lacks the ability to step out on his own, then he's forced to play sidekick not only by his brainwashing but also by himself.

2) Kit's flaws simply couldn't or hadn't be 'corrected'. It was already established earlier on that while Surge and Kit had come a long way since he first got them, they still needed to be brainwashed regularly. Starline might not have had time or the correct resources to make Kit the perfect 100% copy of Tails but he has shown that he is willing to tweak and adjust his plans. If Kit could play his part as much as needs then ironing out all the wrinkles might not have been necessary, as long as his self doubt didn't get in the way of their plans then it was a secondary problem that either didn't need to be fixed or could be fixed later.

3 (and my favourite): Startline had on purposely given Kit these flaws because of Tails and not because he looks down upon him. It had been pointed out in several different games, comics and cartoons that Tails can be just as good as Sonic and is often actually better. Tails can run just as fast as Sonic in past games and has a spindash but also has tons of skills that Sonic doesn't have such as his smarts and the abilities to swim and fly. Tails also is a character who has been show in past comics and shows that if he wants to beat Sonic, he very well could often by using his smarts and underhand tactics to do so (Sonic Booms Tails being one of the biggest examples since he states that he did show but a few games makes off handed remarks that Tails isn't afraid to play dirty to win). Kit is meant to be Starlines version of Tails, if Starline know that Tails could beat Sonic then it's possible that he feared that Kit could beat Surge which wouldn't work for his plans. One of the reasons that Tails had become able to beat Sonic in past media has been when he's been confident in his own abilities, if Kit lacked that confidence then the possibility of him attempting to surpass Surge diminishes. Even if Starline isn't aware of Tails ever beating Sonic (depends on if those passed victories are canon), Starline was a sidekick and now trying to surpass Eggman as a villian, he could fear that that could happily with Kit and tried to establish self doubt as a failsafe.

I absolutely love you running with the notion of how Starline can use this (expected or intended) mental illness as a boon; it's such a vicious portrait of him and that is exactly what he deserves. I don't think that the comics would or should necessarily establish that, but Starline specifically depriving Kit of the what he needs to even begin to question Surge shows how much he learned from his experience with Eggman and how he transforms ideas.

In truth, I think Starline could have 'fixed' this aspect fo Kit, at least short term: We know Surge and Kit are especially susceptible to hypnosis. I believe if Starline thought a low self-esteem would harm Kit's combat abilities, he would have been able to boost Kit's ego through repeated praise. However, that might have made Kit more loyal to Starline than Surge - which with hindsight, could have prevented Kit from defecting. But Starline's vision was to loyalty to Surge:

If I remember correctly: when they start to dissent in front of them, he stages the scene they wake up in that Surge was trying to make sure Kit was kept safer, and that's why she and Starline fought. Obviously untrue, just a way to make Surge do what he wants as she is too stubborn to 'change' her mind, this still makes me wonder if he had done this before to boost Kit's dependence.

If Starline's goal was to ensure that His Tails could never surpass His Sonic, I really and wholly hope that Kit does best Surge at least once. I adore Starline tbh, but I want every one of his plans to have failed, and his legacy stomped into dust. I think it's fair, plus his whole arc has done so much to demonstrate the flaws and strengths of Eggman.

Day 1: Meeting

Flower Prologue

[OBJECTIVE: CAPTURE PINK HEDGEHOG ]

That was Metal’s mission the doctor gave him. This was his first mission, too. He had been created merely a week ago, and Metal knew he couldn’t fail.

And so far, he was doing well.

The pink hedgehog was already in his grasp, and they were on their way to the doctor's base. From what the doctor told him, the plan was to have the pink hedgehog in his grasp so the robot’s inferior copy would appear. And when he does, Metal would be able to apprehend him quickly.

However, the pink hedgehog was being difficult to keep a hold of.

“Let me go, you bag of bolts!” Amy yelled, thrashing her arms and legs around Metal’s arms. She would move much more if Metal wasn’t carrying her in the air. And if she fell, she knew it would be painful.

Why is this happening to her? She has never done anything bad in her life! I mean, nothing anyone can prove, but no one knows about that stuff!

She had seen Metal walking around the field, and she thought that it was the love of her life, Sonic the Hedgehog. She had been trying to look for him for days, and now she had finally found him!

Amy thought the best idea was to surprise him from behind. That way, he wouldn’t run, and she would barely even catch up with him when he walked sometimes, let alone when he ran.

And when she got up to surprise him, she realized he was a lot… steelier than she thought. And… the rest is history. Once Metal turned around, he scooped her up and flew off. And now, she could be off to die!

“I said, let me go!” She screamed again. Even when she lashed out, Metal was unmoving and emotionless. Still moving straight ahead to Eggman’s base.

Amy began bashing her fist on the robot’s back. “Put me down, you wannabe!” She kept punching and punching his back. The hedgehog’s words irked the robot, but the rocket jet on his back sputtered before he could react.

[JET ENGINE DAMAGED]

That won’t do, that won’t do at all! His back wasn’t made with simple, weak hedgehog punches in mind. And now he had to make a quick landing.

Metal slowly lowered to the ground, “‘Bout time you listen to me!” Amy pouted to the clone. Seeing that she left her piko-piko hammer at home, he should be considered lucky.

The robot’s grip on the hedgehog tightened as his feet reached the ground. Amy tried to break herself free, but she couldn’t free herself. “Oh, come on!” She yelled, “At least let me walk with you!”

Metal didn’t listen as he began walking forward to his destination. It would take longer, but the doctor’s base wasn’t too far from here.

“Well, whatever.” Amy puffed, “Keep me hostage for as long as you wanted, but it’s only a matter of time before Sonic rescues me.”

Metal rolled his eyes, a gesture he saw the doctor do once when annoyed. He hadn’t had the chance to battle him yet, but he was sure his inferior copy would be weak against him.

As he kept walking, with Amy simply looking at the scenery around her, they walked near a pathway in the forest. It led up to a plain of flowers.

This grabbed Amy’s attention immediately. “Oh my gosh! Those flowers look so pretty!” She squeals, looking at the flowers nearby. Metal paid her no mind. “Can we stop and look at them, please? I won’t try to run away!”

She must’ve been desperate to see the flowers, begging him to see the flowers. She even stopped thrashing around. In Metal’s mind, he thinks this is the only way for the hedgehog to abide more obediently. But in reality, Amy knew that Sonic would eventually rescue her. So she might as well get something for herself while she’s waiting.

And so, reluctantly, Metal decides to walk towards the plain. There was a path toward the base if he did. So he wasn’t going to have to back peddle.

As they reached closer to the field, they saw variations of flowers. All of which Amy named and gushed about as they walked past them. Roses, sunflowers, orchids, tulips, daisies, and dahlias. Things like flowers were unknown to Metal. The information was useless for what he was made to do. Yet he thought it was valuable to have these flower names installed in his memory.

Metal even looked around and saw the flowers for himself, ones Amy didn’t see, so she couldn’t name them. One that he placed in his memory banks was a black one. It had about five petals around it with a yellow center. It reminded him of his yellow chest.

He was about to point to the hedgehog to tell him its name, but he remembered his objective. And kept moving as they left the plain of flowers.

"Oh! Can we stop for a second? I wanna grab some of these flowers!"

Metal ignored her, he had an objective to accomplish and couldn't ignore it.

"Urgh, fine." Amy knew a no when she saw one. “I better remember where we are! I wanna have some of these flowers in my yard.” Amy said, looking behind her so she could memorize the path.

He didn’t tell her this, not because he couldn’t, but because he didn’t want to, but something told Metal he would be back as well.

I would like to think that the other cursed objects (the earrings, necklace and bracelet) don’t really make the user go mad like the crown did. Like, yeah, the Candy/Slime/Fire!Simons are still a little insane but not like Ice King. The earrings, necklace and bracelet just kinda morphed Simon’s personality a bit. It kinda changed depending on what he felt when he wore it.

I guess, that’s how I would explain it

Candy!Simon was just so smitten for Betty when he found the earrings. He was like "These would look good on Betty! I should give this to her!" and when he showed Betty, he wore them as a joke but then the moment he did, he was just all over her saying like "Oh, my princess! I love you so, so much, more than you could ever know!" and Betty’s really confused and I guess a bit scared because he’s just all over her, smothering her with love and affection. "Yeah, thanks, you love me and I love you too but like.. What the hell? Something happened, what’s wrong w/you?" And Candy!Simon just spawned chocolate outta thin air for Betty

Fire!Simon was angry when he found the necklace (something happened maybe and he’s just pissed off over something). He showed Betty, put the necklace on and just began to take his anger out on her, scaring Betty and making her run away- And like. That’s super terrifying too because… FIRE POWERS

HE MIGHT BURN HER😭😭

Yeah and when he removed the necklace, he doesn’t remember much of what happened except for Betty’s terrified screams like "Simon! Please— Stop!"

Slimon meanwhile was just super tired and unmotivated when he found the bracelet. He showed Betty, put it on and just kinda.. collapsed on the floor because he was tired—

Betty was concerned, ofc. Like, imagine your fiancé just putting on a bracelet and then they just FELL

Slimon was fine and he was just like "Yeah, I’m fine Betty, don’t stress about it too much, princess.. Or whatever.."

You can tell that Fire!Simon’s Betty may or may not be the most traumatized—

Candy!Simon’s Betty is like "Aww, that’s sweet and all but.. something’s wrong" and Slimon’s Betty is like "Oh, um, alright? If you say so.." as she picks up Slimon and places him on the couch

the thing abt one of the most <3 solomon scenes being copied word for word for diavolo is just so. it's not even insane or unbelievable to me it's just extremely irritating like these are genuinely such wonderful characters in a wonderful setting how are the devs messing up on the writing bit THIS bad.

idm the fan service because like... otome game & all that but also that doesn't mean that they can't have a compelling plot and good writing to go with it????? especially in events like clearly they keep trying to include every single character and it just. doesn't work. and there are just SO MANY events too like if you're playing for non-plot purposes it's still so goddamn annoying because let the players breathe 😭

idk i just wish the writing quality in the game would improve at the very least. like it's fine if it's 'cringe' or wtv at least come up with original and decent plots instead of just repeating the same things over and over again yk?

oh my GOSH raaz solomon is the last person the obm devs haven't messed up (+ the new side characters, specifically mephistopheles) and i'm so terrified of the obm devs ruining him like they did everyone else...

in this new steampunk event, the locked route is SPECIFICALLY being catered for whales. unlocking the chapters was easy to build up to, but now you need 15 keys off the bat to continue, and i feel like it's heavily reflective of how indifferent the devs are towards actually doing their own characters justice. everything is meant to serve their whales, bring in more revenue, and sit comfortably even when they know they're angering their own fanbase by rubbing salt in the wound (i.e. making satan self-aware of his cat obsession, solomon outwardly expressing discomfort for the erasure of his humanity from other characters).

the devs are growing to completely disregard their own story, slapping together some fanservice in the main story when most of their fanbase can't even reach that point. why not serve your veterans & those who financially support you with consistent & cathartic story arcs? why not balance everyone, everything?

so i share your frustrations: obey me has been spiraling down in quality for a long time. i think that the last time i've been satisfied with the story was during season 2, when the fandom wasn't as big, and people were invested in figuring out what'll happen next because everything was cleverly panning out to a huge event: the dagger scene with lucifer. people didn't know what to make of simeon's play, and i remember when people theorized that the play would parallel a huge event near the end of the season... and we were right! and so many people were genuinely happy with the story being able to keep their interest and keep them on their toes.

now, there is a severe lack of anything reminiscent of holding anyone's interest, even the veterans, even me. i would woefully log onto tumblr as season 4's lessons rolled around every week, and would share everyone else's disappointment when we gradually accepted the fact that the story was easy to predict given how lazy the devs had become. i want them to take their time so badly, to give us quality over quantity, but with solmare now becoming so big with their new cash cow, obey me, compared to their previous cliche otome games, i think they've allowed the success to get to them.

thoughts of “it's an awful game, i hope no one plays it” and “it's a nice game to play, i can't wait to share my thoughts” are two things that can coexist, albeit shaped into something more along the lines of “it's a horrendous game that i can bond over with friends” once you find yourself being sucked deeper into it.

i don't think i'll stop playing anytime soon, because as i told someone in the past, “[it has] flavor in all of its terrible, atrocious glory”. i'm able to use concepts & ideas that the story gives me and, in my eyes, i get to make it better. i get to share my thoughts with like-minded people like you, and everyone jumps on the inspiration bandwagon. people bond over the same failures that makes us frustrated, and that's one of the few reasons i have any semblance of gratitude for obey me.

I'm 5'3 with mid length brown hair and bangs. I'm an ENFP-T if that matters lol. I'm also bisexual! I don't really have a preference for gender, nor for hunter/survivors. Oh gosh, where to start haha!

In general, I'm sort of energetic, friendly and bouncy. I don't find it hard to socialise with people 94% of the time. I am very. Very. Passionate about my autistic special interests (high school Musical, art and general creative acts and such). I'm always on the move and have been described as a manic pixie dream girl at times haha. Despite that, there is always that 6% of the time where I sort of slip up.

I am not a flawless social butterfly, I will admit to that lol. I sometimes grow awkward and quiet, usually because I'm surrounded by people who I don't really know how to talk to or I struggle to mesh well with. This tends to get me excluded from most friend groups because, like, most people don't like loud, awkward messes. On top of that, I'm actually extremely paranoid. I'm terrified of the dark because I'm convinced someone is out to get me, it's kinda funny :3. The paranoia does get really bad, that I struggle to leave my room because like. Again, worried someone is out to get me.

Anyways, that's only 6% of the time!!

I'm insanely creative. I've always been so. I love to read, and write, and draw and paint. It's my special way of expressing myself. I plan on being an author, something I've dreamt of since I was like.. 2? Or something ^w^

I've been told I'm a bit of a rambler, once I get started on something it's difficult for me to stop. Especially when it's something I find fascinating. I love to research topics I like. I have spent an embarrassing amount of time researching early childhood trauma and the way a stressful event can effect a developing mind.

I love being in the spotlight and used to take drama classes because I loved having people's eyes on me. I hope that's not a red flag haha, I just like having attention on me sometimes!

I also used to take horse riding lessons. I was a horse girl as a kid. I'm sorry.

I listen to all kinds of music. Country, rap, pop, jazz. I love experiencing all different kinds of sensations!

I am always somehow moving. Whether that's talking to someone, rocking myself back and forward, I'm always some how on the move.

One of my BIGGEST flaws though is that I'm pretty socially unaware as well. I can come off as rude and insulting without meaning it to be, and unless someone tells me that I'm being insulting, I'll probably double down until someone makes me actually think about what I'm saying.

I think my ultimate deal breaker I'd someone with overly unhealthy attitudes to approaching a relationship. I'm really big with communication so someone who struggles to talk to me if they're feeling upset, or someone who lashes out at me for things I've genuinely never done. If you can't be mature and speak to me like a grown up, I won't want to be with you.

-Demi is also a social butterfly who can get along with all sorts of people. She’s highly adaptable, understanding, and friendly, almost to a fault. She’d be just as open and welcoming to you as she is anyone else, regardless of whether you’re in a peak social mood or feeling a little more awkward that day, so meeting and getting to know one another is easy.

-Demi is a very “go with the flow” type in regards to conversation, and she is a fortunate mixture of intuitive and forgiving that means she’s not likely to suddenly fly off the handle if you happen to say something insensitive or insulting (or for any other reason, really.) She prefers to get you alone if she can, quietly let you know that she doesn’t super appreciate whatever was just done or said, and then try to explain why. And if you apologize, she accepts, and what’s done is done.

-On that note, she struggles with deeper communication a little, only because she’s not the most eloquent speaker and sometimes struggles to verbalize her feelings effectively. In this sense, she’s also a bit of a rambler. But as long as you’re a patient and active listener, she’ll get her point across eventually.

-She also loves all kinds of music, and takes interest in other people’s hobbies. She’s not likely to hop up on a horse on her own any time soon, but she thinks it’s neat that you do! And you can talk to her about literally anything—for hours even, as long as she has a drink to keep her hands busy—and she’s completely enthralled the entire time. She remembers just about everything people tell her, and gives Words of Affirmation and Gifts as her love languages, referencing older conversations with those as much as possible.

-Demi isn’t afraid of the dark, but she thinks it’s kinda cute that you are. She wouldn’t make fun of you for it, but she does use it as an excuse to hold your hand and coddle you a bit. I have this cute image of you two settling down for the evening, and Demi holding your hand and charging down the hallway with you the second the light is flipped off. She’s giggling the whole time, and makes sure you get into the next room before her. She’ll be your shield from the monsters ;)

Also it really seems like Barbatos just dumped us in a different reality because the dialogue while we're in Levi's room with Lucifer is not the same as the first time we were in there.

And I know we got put at a time where Diavolo hadn't charged Belphegor with treason yet but did he really just show up and act like he had nothing to take accountability for????

25. Do you listen to music as you write? If possible, link your writing playlist.

hmmmm some of the time, maybe half? i definitely listen to music a lot BEFORE i start writing, to get me into the mood/ clear my head sorta — it’s also happened before, once or twice, that i’m poking around spotify without the intention of writing and i get randomly bitten by the urge to fling out some words. not necessarily good words, but — whatever, we take those XD

28. How do you deal with writing pressure (ie: pressure to update, negative comments, deadlines, etc)?

uhhhh BADLY. (also, my writing pressure is pretty much all internal rather than externally imposed, if that matters!)

1) sometimes i try to push through the bad, and — sometimes it works, honestly. sometimes brain is just being a dumb and cuts out the tantrum after a while.

2) trying to get my head in the right space — so, music, and — that’s mostly why i have these lying around tbh: self care tag / encouragement / overcoming perfectionism

3) venting to understanding people!!! one of the most important things i’ve found (am still learning) is that so many people—literally even the most amazing ‘why are you not writing original fiction you could be making a killing’ / ‘you??? reading MY TRASH?? why do you even BOTHER honestly’ writers—can relate to these writing struggles! & not just the struggle, but also that indescribable desire to do it anyway. it’s weird and wonderful and literally the only reason i even dared to start let alone am still going (ish) hahaha

32. Copy and paste your top three favorite lines/jokes/sentences you’ve ever written. What fics do they come from?

The tree itself was still as green as ever. It would look just at home bare out in the biting cold, or all dressed up beside the roaring hearth fire. Unchanged, steadfast, evergreen. Just the same in the cozy Hufflepuff common room filled with the aroma of baking bread and the elegant Slytherin one with its enchanting music, in the Black family manor or in the Tonks’s small Muggle cottage.

the summary of my peter drabble, Resolution:

Since he was eleven, Peter’s New Year’s Resolution had always been the same: this year I will be braver.

the last sentence to my RL fest remadora, the grace unasked for:

And he learns that, even at the furthest ends of the earth, you're always sheltered under the same sky, watched over by the same moon.

especially because it was pointed out to me by a lovely commenter that this is apparently really similar to a poem that i may have come across before but certainly don’t consciously remember!
