MCD Heathers AU

I didn't ask for this, I had a passing teehee funny thought and then it stopped being funny and actually turned out to be a brain worm that took over all my neurons. I do not know what the fuck happened to make this AU but here we are.

Main thing to know before I come up here and elaborate in a later draft, this AU is imagining a production of Heathers featuring the cast and crew of mcd. It's an AU that's largely non magical other than the furry stuff, and it's distinctly the mcd characters and how I characterize them, not the MyStreet version of these characters. I think I've made my... thoughts on the matter of MyStreet characterization well known.

Anyways, the real actual main thing I meant to write was that this AU is also two productions. One is the main cast, and then there's the Understudy Cast! I might put that in a separate post because holy fuck this is already going to be a lot and I have to pull the entire cast of Heathers out of the pits of my memories.

Thinking about the time I had an exclusionist reblog my post to tell me that queer people are dying, and then they proceeded to yell at me for being an mspec lesbian. 💀

They were unwittingly admitting that there are more important issues than somebody's identity, while trying to invalidate my identity lmfao. I suppose they thought it was some huge ‘gotcha’ moment, cuz ooh I'm so selfish for expressing my distress toward mspec lesbians such as myself being crucified for calling themselves lesbians, while people are facing REAL issues! Give me a break.

I know queer people face acts of violence, and mspec les/gays saying ‘hey guys, we'd like to be allowed labels and spaces too’ isn't in any way invalidating that. Exclusionists need to get over themselves.

Since we are discussing romantic partners... Stan goes for someone who would make him laugh / laughs at or at least enjoys or tolerates his jokes, someone who listens and wants to spend time with him, someone who would go along with his schemes or at the very least not be put off by them. Also, I don't think he'd like anyone who actively tries to change him.

Honestly, he is probably not the best partner; he has admitted that he doesn't think before he says anything and often gets slapped, he lies compulsively even to people he cares about, he 'has little regard for other people's emotions or possessions', but that could just be him putting up walls because he doesn't want people to get close/living a lie for three decades and it's hard to be yourself after that. And, y'know. He's just unabashedly a jerk.

One thing is for sure, Stan would fight for you. He would kill for you. He has your back. You mess with someone he loves, and you mess with the Pines family type deal. He flew out to Vegas to marry a damn coin-operated machine, so flings would be quite chaotic, but they'd also be fun. He also seems to be weird with money (won't buy Mabel pancakes because of the 'expensive flour' but will openly bribe people/go to Vegas), so gifts might be sparse, but if you like doing nothing like watching TV or playing cards or going for a road trip then he's the guy for you.

He's a lot, but if he loves you, he will love you fiercely.
