modern (Ouizzy) Izzy headcanons

he's divorced from Ed, and the marriage was terrible at the end. Ed, of course, ended the marriage by cheating with Stede and ultimately leaving Izzy for him. there was abuse, as is canon.

he's trans (obviously). he transitioned very young, before high school and before meeting Ed. he gets top surgery as soon as he can afford it, and a metoidioplasty sometime in the early 2000s.

he smokes, though Frenchie gets him to quit sooner or later after they get together.

he's a masochist, but it takes him a while to ask Frenchie for pain because he's convinced Frenchie won't like giving it.

he has a very nice and very old well-cared-for leather jacket he wears every single day. his boots are similarly ancient and treasured.

the longer he's with Frenchie, the more he replaces his silver body jewelry with gold, which Frenchie insists suits him better, and his black clothes with earth tones, which is also something Frenchie insists is better. the ancient black leather jacket never changes, though.

he likes Adventure Time. why and how this came about I cannot say.

his dog, Princess Bubblegum, is his ride or die.

he's a scorpio, to Frenchie's endless amusement.

he doesn't wear cologne, but his soap is pine-tar. because of sensitivity to its ingredients and also Frenchie's encouragement, he eventually gives up on pomade and grows his hair out a little. there are ponytails.

[2022.10.16] 16th day || Mirror sex

“Babe, look up.”

Frenchie’s voice is accompanied by a slow thrust, his cock sliding deep and bulging on Izzy’s tummy, the swell of his belly even more prominent. Izzy throws his head back, heavily panting as he leans even more against Frenchie’s chest, his eyes shut-closed despite his partner's almost order. He’s horrified because he doesn't want to admit it would arouse him even more, making his hard prick twitch treacherously and drip more.

A silent nod to say no is what Izzy manages to do, his throat already struggling to choke various moans. In response, Frenchie grabs Izzy’s bearded chin with one hand, making him gasp sharply, the left one squeezing him close while driving his hips into him another time. Izzy’s chin pivots toward the tall mirror in Frenchie’s bedroom, the hand accompanying the movement, and as he leans forward, biting the lobe of his ear, Izzy flushes bright red in the cheeks, pretty visible in the reflection, stifling a small whimper as he feels the lad's hand on his belly, heat radiating through his entire chest.

“I said look up,” repeats Frenchie with a deadpan tone, almost dark, and Izzy’s eyes flutter open, batting his eyelashes while staring unfazed at his reflection. He can see bites on his shoulders, hickeys on the length of his neck, and his reddened, puffy and perky nipples, but most importantly, his stomach bulge. Frenchie’s fingers sprawl on it, and Izzy feels his insides burn and clench. “Good. It wasn’t this hard, Iz, Izzy— can’t you see how gorgeous you are, babe? It’s so unfair I'm the only one enjoyin’ the view.”

“S-stop fuckin’ teasing, Fr... Frenchie,” moans Izzy, his arm sluggishly trying to get his hand to stop stoking on his hairy belly because he can’t tell Frenchie that it feels fucking good. "Sh— ah s-shut yer mouth o-or I’ll—”

“—Come?” Interrupts Frenchie, rocking hard his hips, smirking darkly in the mirror, and his gaze pierces into Izzy, who feels his chest heave, thrilled, and his heart jumps more than how it should. “Be my guest, babe.”

A modern architect AU, Ed has already met and chosen Stede over Izzy. Frenchie is a part time busker and also an architect. It is quite heavy on the angst, with a bittersweet ending (but Frenchie and Izzy are together and happy). Despite this there is a lot of fluff. Mental health is referenced and a focus. Sex is referenced and takes place but it is not kinky/too in depth. Homophobia, abuse, self depreciation and religious trauma take place.

But none of his friends know this, and especially not Izzy who can't understand it for the love of god how can his failed artist bf buy everything he looks at for longer than two second.
