Took me about 60 hours which is CRAZY,, I call this one The Quark Family when I’m talking about it (which seems apt) and I’ve literally crammed so many references and details and hours into this my life feels so empty without it. Tumblr is butchering the image quality but that’s just what it is ig,,, I’ve tried and I can’t seem to fix it

Long one I do apologize- I’ve had this idea I’d love to see in your style of early on in their career, Dr. Robotnik never bothered to learn any of his assistants names . He doesnt pay them any attention unless they piss him off because they all run away and quit so easily.

Agent Stone gets assigned and is so hard working and resilient that Robotnik assumes the other assistants are still there too.

Eventually Agent Stone does something extraordinary (Rob trying his latte and the recipe is perfected perhaps?) that snaps Rob out of work brain and he actually SEES Stone.

Then something like this convo occurs:

Rob: Stop whatever you are doing and make me another one of these.

Stone: Yes Sir, but I have to get the budget reports in before 5 today-

Rob: Have the others do it

Stone: ?? Sir, there are no others

Rob: -scoffs- Who organizes the lab?

Stone: I do.

Rob: Who sets my schedule? Answers my emails? Sends the nuisances away?

Stone: That is all me, Sir.

Rob: Polishes the Badniks? Makes me fresh coffee every few hours like clockwork? You mean to tell me that my staff that comes in at 8am and leaves well after 10pm DAILY…is all just you??

Stone: …..Yes Sir. It’s just been the two of us for a while now.

Rob: ………

Rob either with a post it note on a desk or verbally- Addresses him as “Agent Stone”

Actually acknowledging him and saying his name. Stones smile is so bright it is blinding.

Today we have this little Persian collection of astronomical works, including works on the astrolabe, horoscopes, and the risings and settings of the planets - including many tables. It was written in Iran around 1670 (AH 1081) (LJS 414)

LAMPS: My note for now on all lamps is that they need the brightness turned down in game for them to look normal. I have an issue in Blender with the vertex paintbrush just not working, it paints/refuses to paint wherever it wants no matter what I try. It's something I'm always looking for the answer to, and any other creator who likes any of the lamps is welcome to add vertex paint to them. I would update the file and add a credit to said creator.  BEDS: Most beds are made with the cot as the base (or other very simple bed object), it's difficult to find something to "work" with the ACNH mesh. I haven't yet 100% hashed out how to make them *perfectly* functional in TS4, but the sims will sleep on top of them.

Happy 2025. I haven't posted much digital art this year, since I have been working in a lot of physical media for larger projects.

In 2024 I started practicing how to make tabletop miniatures out of paper. And I began work on a Gundam/Armored Core inspired table top game where you pilot mechas and work to fight various sci-fi enemies as a team.

I think I got pretty good at it too. Everything in the photos is made out of cardstock and super glue. (And a few paper clips and painted tin foil.)

I also have a collections of close ups I took of the little environmental details that I'll link to once I post them.

It's been a lot of fun and a lot of failure but I really enjoyed working on it.

"Sometimes I wish I was taller," Billy said as he glanced up from his current drawing.

Stu let out a scoff, "Because you're short?"

Billy shook his head. "No. So I could do this-" he reached across the table to where Stu was punching paper.

Billy was fully on the table, his knees midway between him and the other man, at the point when he ruffled Stu's hair.

Stu blushed, his eyes widening. He let out a small "oh", or maybe it was a gasp; Billy wasn't too sure.

Billy backed away, knees still on the table. "You always do it to me," he shrugged, "sometimes I wanna do it back."

Stu nodded like an eager kid who just got a piece of candy. "No yeah, you can do that whenever you like. Ask me to bend down and I will, just please do that again."

Billy did it again, but he also held onto the back of Stu's neck with his other hand as he ruffled his friend's hair.

The hand that was once in his hair now caressed his face, touching his lips and nose, painting a blush on his cheeks, and defining the bone of his jaw.

"Can I kiss you?" Billy asked, moving his hand back into Stu's hair.

Stu nodded, almost impatient as he waited for Billy to dip his head down and kiss him. When Billy did do that, he backed away and off the table almost as if it never happened.

He sat back in his seat and picked up one of his not-too dull pencils. "That's why I want to be taller."

Prompt 15 - First Divorce

Sitting in that conference room opposite the man he thought he’d spend the rest of his life with was the most painful thing Sirius had ever had to do. He loved Remus. Even now, in the middle of all this shit, he still loved him. He couldn’t even remember how they got here. Everything had been going so well for so many years and then it wasn’t. 

They’d started snarking at each other first over stupid little things, and it had slowly got worse until they were keeping things from each other. 

Apparently, the final straw for Remus was when Sirius left after a massive argument and went to stay with James and Lily and didn’t come back. It was shortly after that that Remus sent him divorce papers stating irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. He’d had a breakdown when he read the papers. 

A slim stack of papers was pushed across the desk to him, already signed by Remus and awaiting his signature. He picked up the pen and left it hovering over the line beside his name. His hand shook as his eyes filled with tears. He couldn’t do this. He couldn’t just end twelve years of marriage with the stroke of a pen. 

He looked up into the stony face of his soon-to-be ex-husband and felt his jaw quiver. Remus’s expression softened, his eyes looking a bit misty. 

“Remus,” He croaked around the lump in his throat. Remus sighed and opened his arms for him. 

“Come here,” Sirius didn’t hesitate for a second before launching himself across the mahogany table and straight into Remus’s arms. 

“I love you,” He whispered, afraid that if he spoke too loud, Remus would let him go. 

“I know,” Remus let out another sigh as he began to stroke Sirius’s hair. He seemed to be warring with something internally. Sirius waited patiently before asking in the softest voice he could. 

“Please, Remus, please can we try again?” He sounded defeated, even to his own ears. 

“Sirius,” His name in Remus’s mouth sounded so full of hurt and sorrow, he couldn’t stand it. 

“Please,” He begged one last time, clinging to Remus as though his life depended on it. 

Remus didn’t say anything, but slowly, his arms tightened around Sirius, and his head came to rest on his shoulder as he buried his face. 

He brought his head back up and shuffled Sirius, signalling to Sirius’s solicitor on the other side of the table and then the sound of paper being torn filled Sirius’s ears. He turned his head so fast his neck cracked and watched as the divorce papers fluttered down onto the table in pieces. “Thank you, thank you, thank you,” He wailed, kissing every bit of Remus’s skin he could reach. 

“Come on, Sirius, let’s go home,” They left the perplexed law workers, they’d send him a bill. One, he was more than happy to pay if it meant he and Remus stayed together. 

He stuck close to Remus, refusing to let go of him completely as they made their way back to the house Sirius thought they’d never share again, determined that he wouldn’t waste this second chance.

Theoretically I enjoy living with people but unfortunately when you tell people you're a neuroatypical raccoon with twelve ongoing hobbies, completely random work hours, and a series of admittedly unusual lifelong compulsions they tend to hear that and go "oh haha you're trying to be Quirky okay" and then save their ten million questions and concerns for when you can't run away
