Before the Flash season 6 DVDs came out, and theories about the original concept for Echo were still being discussed (not by a huge portion of the fandom, but by a few folks at least), someone theorized that he was originally meant to be an evil future version of E1 Cisco (à la Savitar). And I didn't really like that idea, but I built onto it, anyway, with the idea that he was the future version of Cisco from The Once And Future Flash, who had somehow gotten thrown into the Iris Lives timeline when the Iris Dies timeline was erased.
And like, I didn't want Echo to be that Cisco—because the best thing about that episode/timeline is that future!Cisco is still the same caring and hopeful person as always—and I didn't even seriously think that he was him, but it was a fun theory to explore nonetheless. I had a whole long-ass post written about it in my drafts, going into how Echo doesn't have Vibe powers because he lost his hands, supported by the fact that Echo wears gloves in every scene he's in, and I figured he probably had breach psychosis, too, since he still had the dark matter in his DNA but couldn't access his powers. And all that, plus the fact that Breacher said none of Cisco's doppelgängers were scientists, and the way that Echo saying, "I'm not just 'some other' version of you," sounded like it was leading to a different kind of reveal, plus the maniacal laugh when he tells Cisco he killed Cynthia all added up so nicely in support of my theory—that is, until I rewatched the Cisco/Echo confrontation scene and saw that there is a brief moment where you see Echo's hands before he puts his gloves back on, and that killed the whole thing and I deleted the post without publishing it.
Then of course the DVDs came out and I learned that the thing that was changed about Echo was his motive, not where he came from, so we were all overthinking it, anyway. But I still think about that theory from time to time, and how it came so close to being plausible.

What I really like about Creature Commandos is that stylistically it's a very Silver-Age-inflected take on the DCU as a superhero setting- EC comics Hammer-horror overtones, scientists getting blasted with radiation and turning into glowing skeletons, geneticists making Fish people, Weird War Two, Silver-Age leave-it-to-beaver Doc Magnus and his Metal Men, weird micronations with superscience, Frankenstein's monster is a real guy, and so on. This is not the kind of adaption where the writers feel a strong need try to hook every superpowered Tom, Dick and Sally back into the same particle accelerator explosion or mutagen-laced tear gas deployment. It's just that the Silver-age nonsense:
A.) is played basically 100 percent unironically as something that meaningfully affects and traumatizes the characters who have to live through it- no sly nods to the camera, no defensive irony in the presentation whatsoever and
B.) is portrayed with a level of ultraviolence that always sort of implicit in a lot of silver age concepts even if you couldn't actually depict it under CCA censorship standards. There's going to be a lot of blood when you shoot a nazi with a machine gun, it won't be pretty when the writers allow the guy whose power is "melting people" to actually make contact with a human opponent for once, you definitely don't want to see how the sausage gets made on a Frankenstein, and so on and so forth.
All of which result in the viewer nodding along, belief suspended, with a level of charity that we would absolutely not extend to a lot of the goofy silver-age fare this is pulling from. All told it comes out slightly north of The Venture Bros in terms of how it pairs these aesthetics with an intense sense of cynicism and pointlessness- even after all of the runarounds and fakeouts and pointless deaths the world is still in a better position at the end than if the team had just stayed home. But it feels like a cousin to that show, stylistically.

Supernovae
Mr. Fantastic - Reed Richards x fem!reader (Prof! x student)
I’m already obsessed with Pedro as Reed Richards so I made this. It’s just a one shot, nothing big. (For now)
Warning / Reminder: I'm not studying physics, but educational science and psychology. So I have no idea about this subject. Therefore I apologize in advance if it doesn’t make much sense.
“This interaction between highly energetic particles and the atmosphere is extremely complex, and accurate predictions require even greater complexity. They come from the sun, from supernovae, and from more indeterminate processes. Do you know which processes and mechanisms I’m talking about?”
Reed Richards stopped in the middle of his lecture, leaving the open question hanging in the room. He watched the flickering eyes and silent corners until one of the students began to speak up.
“The sun could produce such energy, right?”
A young man with large glasses and freckles covering his round face stared at Mr. Richards. He was standing before his large, scribbled blackboard, waiting for further pronouncements. He ran his fingers over the unused papers and crumpled the dust of the wooden-colored table beneath his sharp, rough fingertips. His other hand rested behind his back. He looked out over the sea of clueless, tense and young faces. Among them was a young woman who knew how to fight her way through the ambitious minds of the striving. (Y/N)
His scrutinizing gaze met her delicately raised hand and he lowered his head to grant her permission to speak.
“Mr. Richards, I believe that supernovae generate radiation through expanding shock waves.”
He smiled faintly, nodded and began slowly walking again in front of the staring mass.
“Faith is not a part of our science, Miss (L/N), but you do recognize the approach,” his gravelly voice began to fill the room, and young Ron Tugmann looked at the now-smiling (Y/N), who turned back to her sketch and continued to refine it with the smudged lead of her pencil.
“Gamma rays. Extreme explosions are released through their bursts. They accelerate these particles.”
The crowd gasped and winced at the description, whispering afterward about this procedure. “Imagine sitting in a dark room, and suddenly, a light explodes with such intensity, only for the darkness to return.”
The explanation resonated with most, though perhaps not with (Y/N). She didn’t clap at the end of the lecture and instead continued with her drawing.
“My physicist, will you accompany me?” teased the brown-haired classmate beside her, bowing mischievously in front of the young woman. “Don’t be silly, Ron,” she snapped, tucking her papers under her arm while he defensively raised his hands, a playful smirk on his face.
She padded down the stairs, and he followed her almost insistently, until he tapped her impatiently on the shoulder. She gasped, fuming, and turned to face him, showing her irritation at his manner. “I’m going to talk to Mr. Richards. Another time.”Her response was brief but accepted with tolerance from Ron as he raced up the stairs toward the exit of the restored building.
Reed Richards gathered his materials and files, along with his many foundations, and stored them in a cupboard. His white shirt clung tightly to his rather slender figure. A faint smile tugged at the corner of his lips, revealing the dark lines on his face, and the bones of his cheekbones seemed almost to want to cut through his skin. Above them, his eyes were glassy and accentuated by dark rings. It seemed as if he hadn’t found much sleep in recent days. The edges clung to the papers he embraced against his chest.
He stared at her, waiting for the clearing of her throat, which still lingered on her tongue.
“Can I help you, Miss (L/N)?” he asked in a soothing, quiet voice, which barely reached her. She turned her attention to the white chalk writings on the blackboard until he turned as well. “I hope I haven’t frightened you with my theories,” he said with a somewhat amused smile, though (Y/N) shook her head, keeping her posture straight to hide the many questions she had.
“No, I just wanted to inquire about the work I submitted to you.”
He raised his eyebrows, and the sharp, rigid features of his face fell upon the pile of papers in front of him. “Indeed. I’ve had to read through them all night and I was quite surprised by your phrasing,” he began, leaning against the edge of his desk as his gaze fell through the black strands of his hair. He didn’t show any emotions until the girl started clearing her throat. “In what way were you surprised?” She tightened her grip on her papers, stepping back as he crossed his legs in front of her, his hands intertwining in the pockets of his black pants. She could almost hear the rhythmic ticking of his watch against his thin wrist in the ensuing, suffocating silence.
“Your theories are… interesting, but only in theory,” he remarked roughly, tilting his head to study her features.
“Is that good or bad in your eyes? I know it’s madness… probably unthinkable…” her voice trailed off as she tried to continue. The laugh he gave her now revealed his sharp teeth before it faded.
“If thinking the unthinkable is madness, then I’m the craziest thinker there has ever been.” She lowered her head, and with hollow cheeks, she gazed at the smooth floor beneath her feet. She could barely suppress the urge to smile. He tilted his head, briefly stroked his beard beneath his nose, and clicked his tongue. “You seem to have many questions, don’t you? I often see you alone with all those books on campus,” he coughed lightly and smiled at the girl in front of him.
She shrugged, pushing a strand of hair behind her ear. “Yes, I like to retreat and read,” she explained, but she couldn’t get any more words out. He raised his hand and shook his head. “Those who don’t read, don’t learn,” he replied almost seriously, taking a step closer to (Y/N).
As he noticed that she couldn’t find any words, he broke the silence. “When I was a student, I didn’t know people, only every book in the library.”
(Y/N) smiled, recognizing herself in his story, and pressed her papers against her chest as if to hide the fluttering inside. He reached forward, extended his arm and pulled the paper down to see what it contained. It wasn’t formulas, but a drawing. He tilted his head, and the corner of his mouth twitched. Immediately, she wanted to justify herself.
He smiled and looked her deep in the eyes. (Y/N) swallowed and didn’t know where to look. Her cheeks turned a deep red. Reed Richards slowly released the paper, but his gaze lingered for a moment before he straightened up. The faint smile on his lips remained, but his gaze became critical, almost as if searching for an explanation on her face.
“You have an unusual talent, Miss (L/N),” he said finally, crossing his arms over his chest.(Y/N) gently pulled the drawing back and let her gaze briefly drift to the side. “It’s just a habit. I understand things better when I visualize them.”
He nodded slowly, as if considering this thought. “Most of my students think in formulas, not in pictures.”
(Y/N) raised an eyebrow. “Is that a compliment, Professor?”
A soft laugh escaped his throat. “Call it what you want.”
For a moment, they stood there, and Richards continued to observe her until he broke the silence again.
“Back to your work.”
(Y/N) quickly nodded and straightened up.
He leaned lightly against his desk again, his shirt tightening across his shoulders as he picked up one of his notes. “It’s not criticizable. Just… hypothetical. Your idea that cosmic radiation might be influenced by previously unknown interactions is fascinating. But we lack evidence. You’re operating in the realm of speculation.”
“Every theory was once speculation,” (Y/N) replied. Again, that amused gleam appeared in his otherwise tired eyes. “I knew you’d say that.”
A warm feeling spread in her chest, but she hid it behind a neutral nod.
"Am I that predictable, Professor?" (Y/N) asked and took a small step forward.
She smelled the expensive perfume he had put on and swallowed hard. She was so enthusiastic about him and his work. He always knew what he was saying, what impact it had and he always knew the answers to all the questions students asked. He was a role model, probably even more. She would at least have liked to see more in him, but she knew that reality would not allow it. If anyone was aware of reality, it was the scientists. She realized that she had been lost in her thoughts for a long time and shook her head. He hadn't said anything. Not a word. He had only observed her. She didn't know what he was thinking, but he was well aware of what she was thinking.
"Miss (L/N), I think you still have a lecture, don't you?" he broke the strange spell and she remained silent. She knew what he wanted. Distance. What had she expected?
"Of course," (Y/N) replied dryly and walked past him, out the door.

A/N: Smutty smut smut. It’s only my second time doing this, so hope it’s okay. Just had a good idea, and there’s probably going to be a part two, where they have to deal with it if you want it? Also, there are two types of beginnings to it. One where Reader is already drunk and Harry finds her, and one where they get drunk together! Have fun!
Also, unprotected sex is a no-no, bad idea, don’t condone it!

Reader already drunk beginning:
The past few days had been tough for you. The metas Alchemy was creating kept showing up everywhere, the metas already created by the particle accelerator explosion seemed to try to keep up with Alchemy's.
Captain Singh wasn’t making it easy at the precinct. He had benched you because of the lack of sleep and focus you were having, you were acting out over the smallest things. So naturally you had needed some time away from everything. Away from home, away from work, and away from people.
The team had gone home for the day a few hours ago, and you had made your way to the lounge area of S.T.A.R. labs and the fridge you knew had beers in it. You didn’t quite keep to the beers, you had also managed to find a flask of whiskey and tequila.
By now you had gotten quite the buzz going, the music was playing from the speakers as you downed yet another shot of tequila. The liquor burned its way down your throat and you scrunched up your nose before biting into a piece of lime and shaking your head at it.
“Whooo, I should do this more often,” You laughed to yourself. You had always been the type of drunk person who would end up being a happy-go-lucky kind of person.
“Y/N, what are you doing?” A rasped voice pulled you away from your endeavor. You couldn’t help but smile at the sight in front of you. Harrison Wells with his black jumper and slick black jeans. His dark hair was slightly ruffled with a few strands sticking out to the sides. His expression was stern yet with a glimpse of amusement.
“Harryyyyyy, hiii!” You slightly yelled out over the music. “What does it look like I’m doing though?” You questioned him back with a grin on your face as you took a swig of your whiskey. You didn’t wait for his answer as you continued. “I’m having my own little party, and quite honestly I’m having the absolute best time!” You lifted your glass in your hand and made your way over to Harry swaying ever so lightly on your way.
“Don’t you think you’ve had enough?” He looked at you with a little bit of concern in his eyes as he gripped onto your arms to keep you standing upright and not tumbling over. Your hands wound up on his as you realized which kind of muscles he was hiding under that jumper. You squinted your eyes at him and began to make a pout with your lips. It didn’t last long before your lips turned upwards and your eyes were filled with enjoyment and carefreeness.
“Actually I don’t think so, and you mister,” You said as you poked Harry in the chest hard enough for him to be swayed a bit backward. “Won’t take my fun away,” You finished before breaking out into a full laugh. Harry chuckled at you and your behavior.
“Actually come to think of it, you should join my fun!” Your lips turned into a smirk as you went to get a glass of whiskey for Harry. “We deserve a bit of fun and downtime,” You said momentarily your voice was laced with seriousness.
“I’m not sure that’s a good idea,” He chuckled with his beautiful smile ever so lightly creating his dimples. “Somebody has to make sure you’re okay,” He continued as he gestured with his hand to you.
“You don’t have to worry about me, I’m fantastic,” You answered as you went over to him with the glass of whiskey in your hand. “Here, drink up my friend!” You spoke attempting to sound serious, just to have your smile betray you. Harry took the glass from you and took a swig of it causing you to smile even wider.
“So you’re in?” You questioned with a small expectant giggle at the end of it.
“I’m in,” He says with a wink and a smirk at you, rendering your knees to go soft on you. He takes another swig of the whiskey emptying the glass. He handed it over to you and you gladly took it to get him a refill.
“We need to get you up to speed with me,” You smiled mischievously at him. You sat down a shot glass in front of him and poured some tequila into it. “Let me borrow your hand,” You said as you held out your own. He does as you tell him and you lick at the back of his hand before pouring some salt on it. “Salt, shot, and lime,” You tell him. He looked at you, his mouth slightly agape. His eyes had darkened at the action you had made.
“Earth to Harry?” You asked as you waved your hand in front of his face, your own face confused with a cocked eyebrow. “Yes?” He cleared his throat before speaking, followed by a big swallow causing his adams apple to bob.
“Did you hear anything of what I said?” You let out a laugh that came from the bottom of your stomach.
“Right, yes I did,” He licked the salt from his hand, took the shot, and bit into the lime. His face scrunched up by the taste of the liquor hitting the back of his throat. You made him take quite a lot more, you took some with him to keep your own high buzz going.
Reader and Harry getting drunk together:
You were walking into S.T.A.R. labs with the rest of the team. It had been a tough fight with the current metas roaming the streets of Central City. Alchemy was creating quite a lot on the way, and every damn meta in this town seemed to be out for blood.
You threw your backpack on the floor beside the central console of the cortex. You flopped down on a chair in front of the computer, taking your guns out of your holsters and putting them down on the table.
“I swear Y/N, if one of those goes off on my computer, you’d wish hell was freezing over,” Cisco pointed at you.
“Oh relax Cisco, the safety is on,” You say as you look at them, realizing that you might have forgotten that in the heat of the moment, or maybe more in the tiredness of the moment. “Or now it is at least,” You mumbled to yourself.
“What was that?” Cisco asked his eyes squinting at you. “Nothing!” You laughed it off, knowing he would in fact kill you if you ruined his computers.
“That’s what I thought,” He laughed back at you.
“You do know he means it right?” Harry spoke with a serious face as he sat down beside you. You looked over at him with amusement in your eyes.
“Is Harrison Wells afraid of what Cisco might do?” You joked. You thought you were funny, but looking at Harry’s face you thought differently. His eyes were hard as he looked at you. It felt like he was looking right through you. You swallowed thickly at the hard glare he was giving you.
“I’m not afraid of Ramon,” His voice was hoarse and low but laced with a hint of worry. Cisco’s computers and satellites were his everything, and having seen it be blown up a few times, both you and Harry knew he would hurt whoever hurt his tech.
“Well, we’re going home for the day,” Barry and Iris smiled as she spoke. “I’m more than ready to go home and get some sleep. We’ll see you all tomorrow,” She continued and waved at everyone. So did Barry as they left the building.
“I’m going to follow them. Cisco can you drive me home?” Caitlin asked her friend. Caitlin had had a rough time lately, she didn’t talk much about it, but you knew she would when she was ready for it.
“Are you coming along too, Y/N?” Cisco asked grabbing his jacket from the console in front of you.
“Nah, I’ll stay here for a while. I’m gonna see what it is we’re missing with Alchemy and all these new metas that are popping up. Thanks for asking though!” You smiled and gave a thumbs up to let him know you meant it.
“Don’t you think it would be a good idea to go home and rest?” Harry asked beside you with a soft smile. You loved to see him smile, even more because it wasn’t so often he did.
“No, really it’s all good. I want to be here, no need to go home to an empty apartment anyway,” You spoke as you looked away from him and back to the computers in front of you.
Harry nodded at you and walked away, probably to go work on his own Alchemy project. You started to type away, going through every piece of evidence you had on Alchemy.
You rubbed your eyes and looked at the clock. It felt like you had been sitting with it for hours, but there had only been 40 minutes. Realizing that you weren’t going to get much done you walked to the lounge, grabbing two glasses and pouring some whiskey into them.
Turning the corner into Harry’s lab you saw him looking at the clear board with equations on it, his white marker in his hand. You had been right when you thought he would be working.  You knocked at the entrance causing him to turn around and look at you.
“What?” He asks gruffly and you raise the two glasses of whiskey in your hands.
“Wanna have a drink with me?” You asked politely entering his workshop.
“Uh, sure,” His answer was short but held a lot of meaning. He never stopped working, so his saying yes was a win for you. “Any particular reason?” He questioned as you handed him one of the glasses.
“Can’t we just enjoy a drink without there has to be a reason for it?” You asked cockily with raised eyebrows. It earned you a small laugh from the Earth-Two scientist. You looked at him surprised at his response to it. “Maybe we should do it more often if it earns laughs from you,” You jokingly continued.
“Don’t count on it,” He replied deeply, though there was still a small smile hiding behind the glass. You raised your glass to him and took a sip of the liquor. The burning sensation was welcoming in your throat. The small interaction you and Harry had was nice. Your life had been a mess lately so when you had emptied your glasses, you had stayed with Harry while he went back to work.
“Are you just going to sit there for the rest of the night?” He asked looking over his shoulder and back at you.
“Well actually I’d say yes, but then I thought we could also decide to have our way of resting,” You smiled at him as you took your feet down from his desk and turned all the way towards him. His features looked questioningly at the statement you had made. “We could go drink some more whiskey. Pretty sure we both could need some time away from Alchemy?” The last part you said as a question as you waited for his response.
“And why would you think that?” Harry’s usual hard look and closed-offness showed.
“Because Harry, you have been staring at the same equation for the past hour and gotten nowhere,” You told him gesturing to the board in front of him. His stare felt like it could shoot daggers at you for having said that, but you knew he was agreeing with you when a small nod came in your direction.  “Cool, let’s go then,” You said snapping your fingers in the direction of the lounge you had picked up the whiskey in before.
A few whiskeys in you were both talking a lot more loosly about what was troubling you. As Harry, you weren’t one who cared much for sharing too many feelings or problems. They were your own, and yours to deal with.
“I could have sworn you had just decided to spend most of your time here, just like Barry usually does now,” Harry stated as he looked slightly surprised at you for your confession.
“Nope, Captain Singh asked me, or more made me, stay home and take care of myself. He sent my ass home, and I can’t just sit at home doing nothing, so here I am,” You threw your arms out to the side as you took a small bow in the chair.
It earned you one of the rare laughs from Harry. Either it was the alcohol talking or maybe Harry was actually enjoying himself a little. You decided to go with the latter, making it so much easier to just smile and forget things for a while.
You stood up to grab the flask of whiskey, only to realize it was empty. You looked through the cupboards to see if you could find something else. A devilish smile crept on your lips as you grabbed the flask and stood up. “Harry!” You yelled out. His body shot towards you at your sudden outburst. “I have found something better than whiskey,” You smiled from ear to ear shaking the tequila bottle in your hand. “We are so going to take some tequila shots!” You laughed out loud at the expression on Harry’s face.
“No, we are most certainly not,” He replied coldly as he stood up and started to leave, and you knew how you could make him stay.
“Harry, it’s a task, and you solve tasks right?” He stopped dead in his tracks and you could almost imagine the expression on his face and that joyed you even more. You knew you had won.
“Fine!” He exclaimed and turned back to you, a few large strides and he was on the other side of the island.
“Do you know how to?” You asked hesitantly not knowing how much drinking he had done on Earth-Two and in his younger days. “Did you just ask me if I know how to do tequila shots? How old do you think I am?” He said slightly annoyed before he broke out a dimple-filled smile. You broke out into a real fit of laughter before answering him.
“I’m so sorry Harry, that sounded terrible,” Leaning forwards on the table in front of you, you half smacked yourself in the head when you put it into your hand.
“C’mon, pour it Y/L/N!” He chuckled as he pushed the shot glass over in your direction. You found the salt and cut out the limes you had found in the fridge. You weren’t quite sure why the team even had this here, but you weren’t about to be mad at it.
You clinked your glasses together before shooting it down. You both shook your heads and looked at each other, smiles spreading as you continued to pour tequila into your glasses.
“Right, let’s see,” You say with an idea in your head. You licked your own hand as you put it to your neck, you leaned your neck to the side as you drizzled salt on it and the lime in your hand. “Let’s go, Harrison,” You smiled playfully at him, his eyes glistening with just as much playfulness.
He stepped close to you, your chests touching each other, his hands on your hips. You leaned your head to the side giving him access to lick the salt off of you. His tongue was warm to your skin sending shivers down your spine. You had to bite your lip to stifle a moan from escaping your lips. He stayed at your neck a little longer than he needed to and kissed you on the neck as his face left your neck. Downing the shot you had poured him, he looked for the lime and you smiled brightly with it between your teeth.
It didn’t take long for Harry to catch on to what you wanted. A smirk danced across his lips before crashing them to yours to bite the lime. His lips were soft on yours. He tasted of a mix of tequila, lime, and whiskey. You spat out the lime before going back to kissing him. Your arms snaked around his neck drawing him closer to you. He gladly accepted and deepened the kiss. His tongue slid across your lower lip and you quickly granted him access.
Your tongue felt like it fit perfectly with his as they danced and explored together. The kiss was filled with need, a hunger, for each other. Damn his an amazing kisser, you thought to yourself as you got completely lost in his intoxicating kiss. You broke apart after a few minutes needing to catch your breaths.
His crystal blue eyes looked into yours, they were darker than usual, filled with arousal. Your chest was heaving for breaths and Harry pulled away from you. You whined as you lost the heat from his warm body.
“I’m sorry,” He spoke lowly as he started to pull completely away from you. You grabbed the jumper in your hands and pulled him towards you. “Harry shut up and kiss me again,” You ordered your own eyes filled with lust. It didn’t take long for him to oblige to your command, his hands roaming your entire body.
He pushed you backward till you reached the countertop and boxed you in between his body and the table. Your fingers tangled themselves in his dark locks as you pulled lightly at them. A hum escaped his throat as he kissed his way down from your jaw to your ear nibbling lightly at your earlobe before moving down to your neck.
His kisses left your skin on fire. A burning sensation was starting to grow in your stomach and between your legs. You wanted him. You needed him.
“Harry,” You whimpered in response to his kisses, licks and sucks. He was sure to leave marks on you. His hand moved in between your legs cubbing the outsides of your cunt, grinding at it with his hand.
Several moans left your throat involuntarily. You couldn’t help it, this man was doing so much to you. He was humming in response to your moans. His lips went back to yours. You could feel the grin on his lips as he kissed you.
His hands grabbed around your thighs hoisting you to sit on the countertop, keeping your legs spread to make space for him in between. You locked your legs around his waist pulling him as close to you as you could.
He grinded against you and you met his grinds with your own. You could feel his arousal, rock hard and ready for you. A groan left Harry’s lips at your movements and a smirk appeared on your lips. This time it was you breaking the kiss to make it to his neck leaving open-mouthed kisses. As you bit slightly into his skin, an animalistic groan left his throat, as you left a mark on him.
“Either you stop and we go to my room, or continue and I’ll take you right here,” His voice was low and lust-filled as he spoke. The words hit you as you leaned in to whisper in his ear.
“Oh I’m not nearly done, Harrison Wells,” you mused his name and it seemed to have the effect you wanted it to. Harry gripped your hips tightly and pulled you closer to him as his lips crashed with yours. The kiss was filled with need as you were both losing control of yourselves.
One of his hands traced under your shirt and up to your breast and grabbed it. Your body ached for him as your chest shot forward at the feeling of his fingers pinching your nipple. His hand let go of your breast only to discard the clothing in front of it. He kissed down your neck and down to your chest and sucked lightly at your nipple as his other hand traced up your thigh toward your wet spot.
“Oh god, Harry,” You moaned out at the heat pooling inside of you.
“Mmh, what?” He looked down at you with a big smirk on his lips, his normally blue eyes almost completely dark from lust. “I didn’t tell you to stop,” You looked up at him whining. “But now we’re at it, you have too many clothes on,” You smiled innocently up at him as your hands glided toward the hem of his jumper. He chuckled deeply before lifting his arms up to discard his jumper.
Your mouth fell open as your eyes roamed his torso. His chiseled muscles showed as he flexed a little under your stare. Clothes did him dirty.
“My eyes are up here Y/N,” He pulled you from your trance. Your cheeks flushed as you looked down shyly. His fingers went under your chin to make you look up at him. “Like what you see?” He muses with amusement.
“I mean, have you looked yourself in the mirror?” You spoke as your eyes darted down to his chest again. Your tongue darted over your lips as you took all of him in again. “How can I not like what I see?” You continued your own eyes darkening more.
Your legs tugged him into you again as your lips met his again. You were fighting for dominance, pouring every feeling of lust and need into the kiss. Your fingers were digging into his skin at his shoulders.
Harry pulled you down from the countertop, unbuttoning your jeans, not once breaking the kiss. You shimmied out of your jeans and panties and stood completely nude in front of him. This time it was Harry’s turn to get tranced, licking his lips.
“My eyes are up here, Harrison,” You mused the same response he had had to your staring. His laugh filled the lounge as his hands found your hips again. “What? No smart comment?” You chuckled. “Nope, not this time. You look beautiful,” His smile was genuine, his eyes had gone soft again, and you felt your cheeks burning from his admiration. He leaned down to kiss you. The kiss was different from the others, this was more caring and more emotional.
Your hands went to his shoulders moving down his chest. He flexed under your touch and deepened the kiss again as your hands found the button on his jeans. It didn’t take long for him to discard them.
Your eyes couldn’t help but dart down to his erection. He sure did hide a lot under those clothes; because holy hell he was well-equipped. The burning desire inside of you took over as you went down to your knees and looked up at him through your lashes.
A smirk playing at your lips as you licked from the base of his cock and up to the tip. A deep rumble came from Harry’s chest as his eyes closed shut and his head leaned back. Your tongue swirled around the tip, licking off the precum before taking his cock into your mouth. You bobbed your head in rhythm with your hand at the base. Your tongue swirled around the tip every time you came back up, before taking as much as you could of him in again.
“Y/N,” Harry moaned out. “Fuck, it feels so good,” his breathing became more panting as he took every bit of pleasure you were giving him. You could feel him tense under your touch and you bobbed your head a little faster, drawing him closer to his release.
He took in a sharp breath as he pulled away from you.
“Harry, why did you do that? I almost had you,” You looked up at him while pouting.
“Because when I cum I want to be in you,” He took hold of your hand helping you up and he instantly pushed you back to the countertop. His lips find yours again, his hands on your hips, lifting you back up to sit. His head moved down your chest, down to your stomach, leaving open-mouthed kisses on his way.
Your own breathing became quicker at the thought of what he was about to do. Your hand tangled itself in his hair as he kissed the inner side of your thigh. The feeling of his mouth leaving shivers going up and down your body. Moans escaped your lips as he moved closer to your cunt.
“Mmh, you’re so wet for me,” He breathed as his tongue licked through your folds, leaving a fire burning inside of you. His tongue flicked over your bundle of nerves. The pleasure coursing through your veins, the feeling of heat pooling in your stomach, alarming you that you were close.
“Harry, I’m-,” You choked out, one hand gripping the countertop so tightly your knuckles were going white.
“Cum for me, princess,” Harry focused more on your clit and it didn’t take long before you were coming undone for him. He lapped all of your orgasm before coming back up to your head and giving you a chaste kiss.
“Well you certainly know what you’re doing,” You breathed heavily coming down from your high, a proud smirk played on Harry’s lips. Your hands reached around his neck and you pulled him close to you. Your kiss wasn’t chaste in any way, it was lust-filled and hard. You could taste your own orgasm on his wet lips. One of your legs wrapped around his body, pulling him even closer to you. “I need you Harry,” You begged him. You needed him inside of you. You were hungry for him. All of him.
Harry aligned himself at your entrance and slowly pushed inside of you. Moans escaped both of your lips as he let you adjust to him. He slowly started thrusting into you. Controlled, slow moves were dragging out the pleasure already building in you.
“Fuck, you feel so good around me. So perfect,” He breathes into the base of your neck. One of your hands was holding onto his shoulder and the other clawing at his back.
“Harry, I- I won’t last long,” You were moaning and panting under him.
“Neither will I,” He groans out, his thrusts becoming quicker and sloppier. Your orgasm builds up quickly in you. Leaving you screaming out his name as you draw closer and closer. A few more quick and hard thrusts leave you both coming down and hard.
He stayed with his head dipped into the crook of your neck, your hand started drawing circles at his back. He draws back from you and pulls out of you. His dark hair was messy from sweat and your hands, and you only saw the most handsome man you had ever seen.
A big goofy smile played on your lips and you couldn’t tear your eyes away from him, as your breathing was slowing down again.
“What?” He smiled and shifted a little on his feet as his cheeks turned a shade of pink.
“Oh, nothing, you’re just very handsome,” You spoke looking him deeply in his eyes. He leaned in to give you another kiss. He broke apart from you, but you continued to peck his lips in between words. “Also. You. Just. Rocked. My. World,” Your hands were cupping his face as you held onto him.
“Well, why don’t we go rock it some more,” He returned your goofy smile with a wink as he dragged you with him to his room.
Your eyes slowly started to flutter open and you groaned out at the bright light hitting your face. You rubbed your eyes with one hand as you felt the hangover headache hitting you. It wasn’t until you tried to move that you realized that there was someone beside you.
You turned your head slowly as to not disturb whoever it was holding onto your side.
You didn’t exactly expect to see a certain dark-haired grumpy scientist beside you.
“Oh god, what have I done?” You said to yourself, panic coursing through your veins, causing a pair of blue eyes to open and look at you.

Complete List of Public Domain McGuffin Materials
I wanted a clean collection of these based on @titleknown original post, just for ease of reference and adding a few along the way.
Also, HAPPY PUBLIC DOMAIN DAY!
Cavorite - An Anti-Gravity Metal from First Men On The Moon by H.G. Wells.
Hihi'irokane - From "The Takenouchi Documents" (1935). A super durable metal that never rusts and is also a conductor of heat. In other words, it's Minecraft Red Stone.
Taduki - From the Alan Quartermain stories, a drug that allows users to relive past lives via smoking. It's a great framing device, and was used as one in the original stories.
The Absolute - from "The Absolute At Large". Byproduct of a matter-to-energy conversion. Implied to be the element of 'Divinity'.
Eitr - Source of all life in Norse Mythology. The mixing of the FIres of Muspelheim and the ice of Nifilheim -- but also a deadly poison to the earth.
Fleury's Gas - Rudyard Kipling's super gas from his story "With the Night Mail." Used to run Zepplins. It expands explosively fast as a gas and is both powerful and rigid. It can be liquified with Fleury's Ray. Produces a lot of power and acts as Hydrogen. Could be used very easily in Neumatics (ROBOTS!)
Tulu Metal - Lovecraft invention. rare space-metal. Extremely magnetic. Speculatively, it could do space-warping weirdness (given Lovecraft stories, that tracks).
Abyssal Gold - The Gold of the Deep Ones. It's whitish-gold alloy with a weird lustrousness. No special properties, it's just weird. And rather pretty. Rare type of gold are sure to go for a higher market value.
Alkahest/The Universal Solvent - Alchemy dissolver. It dissolved/breaks apart whatever it comes across.
Jeckyll's Compound - Most people use the Hyde formula as shorthand to make Hulk-knockoffs, but the reality of it more than that. Hyde is not just a coalescence of a man's "Dark Impulses" but a chemical 'disguise' to allow a person to indulge in whatever a person wants.
The Red Weed - A plant native to Mars from War of the Worlds. It tastes metallic, absorbs water, grows extremely quickly, and is bioluminescent.
Starlite - A purportedly heatproof material. Up to 90% organic.
Rossum's Protoplasm - Rossum's Universal Robots, the McGuffin that makes the robots move and behave.
Liquid Electricity - Glowing energy liquid. It was a common belief about Electricity in the early days, so it ended up in a lot of stories.
Herbet West's Re-Animation Fluid - From Lovecraft's Herbet West: Reanimator. It chemically kickstarts the mechanical process of life in organic tissue.
Solarnite/Solarbenite/Solarite - Plan 9 From Outer Space. It causes light particles to... explode.
Vril - The life energies harnessed by an underground utopian civilization. The energies are controlled by staves and there's different type of staff to control Vril in different ways. It can be used to heal, to destroy, or to enhance organic material.
Herakleophorbia IV - The Food of the Gods of H.G. Well. Organisms that ingest this chemical quickly grow to 5 to 7 times their normal size. This is used primarily on livestock to increase their food yield, but it naturally gets eaten by pest animals. Many common household pest insects are now the size of a person's thumb or their hand! A rat is now 6 to 9ft long. And if some jerk feeds it to an Alligator... it now as large as a blue whale.
The New Accelerator - From the HG Wells story from the same name. Within the story, Prof. Gibberne creates a drug that enables the user’s mind and body to gain temporary super-speed, so that everything in the world appears frozen solid as time appears to slow.
There are downsides to being a 1901 version of the Flash however. Users are still subject to friction, so moving while on the drug causes your clothes to get singed (this same friction making it impossible to breathe is ignored, however).
Devil's Foot Root - From the Arthur Conan Doyle Sherlock Holmes story The Adventure of the Devil’s Foot. A poison made from an African root, which vaporizes when heated, leading to those exposed going mad or dying after inhaling the fumes.
Basically, works like the Scarecrow’s fear toxin from Batman, and is considered rare enough that someone has to specifically use some from a stolen from the collection of someone who had to gather it personally as an explorer. At least, at the time.
The White Powder - The novel of The White Powder by Arthur Machen, wherein a student is prescribed a drug made from a mysterious white flakey substance. His sister begins to worry about his sudden changes in mood and personality, which is only compounded when his prolonged abuse of the titular White Powder causes the student to literally melt.
One of Machen’s more famous stories, would go on to be listed as among Lovecraft’s favorite's and inspiring future writers, from the finale of Lovecraft’s Cool Air to one Stephen King story where a tainted six pack turns a dude into a blob monster.

INTRO TO MY THE FLASH DR
Halo halo, no one has asked me for this but i will introduce my The Flash dr because it is one that i love love love so much. It is a recent one because just recently i got into it again but i’ve put in as much detail as I could.
let’s gooo!
Tumblr media
My name is Blair Isabelle Black. I’m 21 and i was born 3rd of September 1992. Born in england and daughter of Sirius Black and my mum (my cr mum). I’m the second of three siblings. The first son is Lorenzo Black, me, the first daughter and Bianca Black, second daughter (my cr sister). Both my father and mother are from very prominent and wealthy families back in the UK.
They immigrated to the USA in 1995 to expand their family businesses after Lorenzo, me and my sister were born. We were all really young but quickly adapted. We have always lived in Central City. My father has a business related to bio engineering and my mother’s is related to mechanical engineering.
Being their daughter and part of such prominent, wealthy and to be honest privileged family, we always got to travel a lot. for holidays and even when it wasn’t holidays. there was a lot of events and/or galas my father and mother would attend and me and my siblings would always accompany them. some of those are charity events/galas.
I’ve always been quite smart, always loved to learn and was always the best student in every class (wanted to finally enjoy school and graduate). This led me to graduate from the best university (don’t know which one) with one degree in Forensic science and one in mechanical engineering. (Don’t ask me how i made it work. I just did.)
And of course that, achieving two degrees with such ease got Harrison Wells’ eyes on me and got me instantly accepted at STAR Labs. I’m a mechanical engineer at STAR Labs and I’m also a part-time CSI at CCPD working side by side with none other than Bartholomew Henry Allen, aka Barry Allen. (once again, i don’t know how i will manage two jobs, but i will.)
I’m shifting to December 5th, 2013, a month and two days before the particle accelerator explodes. At the time of the explosion, I will be inside of the accelerator with Ronnie trying to fix it and we will be the first to be hit with the blast. Cisco will be the one to find me inside the particle accelerator, passed out. I will be kept at STAR Labs where Caitlin and Cisco will take care of me and i will wake up from my “coma” 5 days later. (i didn’t wanna be in a coma for too long.)
I could add a lot more to this but then i’d probably bore you all. I hope it was a good read and let me know what you think! 🫶🏻

WHAT ARE DARK STARS??
Blog#474
Saturday, January 25th, 2025.
Welcome back,
A star dies. A sudden flash of light signifies the end in a supernova explosion. This, however, is only part of the life cycle of stars, as the rich materials created during the death throes of the star are ejected into space by the supernova.
When the next generation of stars form, they sweep up the leftovers of the supernova, accreting the metals that the dying star produced — metals being the term that astronomers use for anything heavier than hydrogen and helium. Metals are important; without them, the disc of gas and dust surrounding a newly forming star could not create rocky planets. But if new stars recycle the metals produced in the deaths of old stars, what did the very first stars do?
Tumblr media
The universe began with the Big Bang, which created the gases hydrogen and helium, trace amounts of lithium and perhaps beryllium as well. Matter began to clump together, pulling in ever more material through gravitational attraction. It may have been dark matter — the mysterious substance that has yet to be directly detected — that began to accumulate first. This then drew in the ordinary matter, the stuff we can see, such as hydrogen and helium. Together the dark and ordinary matter created what is known as a 'minihalo', although the name is somewhat misleading, as minihalos had masses around a million times that of our sun.
Tumblr media
It was in the mini halos that the first stars were born 200 million years after the Big Bang.
The first stars are known as Population III stars, and none have ever been observed, as they are too faint. The first stars had to make do with what they had available, and formed from clouds containing only hydrogen and helium. When they died in supernovae explosions, they produced the first metals for the subsequent population of stars, Population II, which have a small proportion of metals. These went on to birth the metal-rich Population I stars we have today.
Tumblr media
The dark matter in the minihalo may have done more than bring elements together — it might also have been present deep within the first stars. These stars are known as 'dark stars', due to the dark matter within them, although they would have actually shone very brightly.
Everything that we can see and detect — the stars and galaxies — only makes up a puny 5% of the universe, whereas dark matter comprises 25%. The rest is made of dark energy, another oddity thought to be responsible for accelerating the expansion of the universe. As CERN notes, dark matter does not interact with ordinary matter, and it does not produce any light. We only know that it must be there as its immense gravitational force tugs on ordinary matter.
Tumblr media
One of the leading theories attempting to explain the invisible mass in the universe is a hypothetical particle known as a WIMP — a weakly interacting massive particle. 'Weakly' interacting refers to their relationship with ordinary matter. However, they would still interact with themselves. In fact, if two WIMPs collided with each other they would destroy each other in a process known as annihilation. This is because theories, such as this study at the University of Maryland, predict that WIMPs are their own 'antiparticles'.

Chandra diagnoses cause of fracture in galactic 'bone'
Astronomers have discovered a likely explanation for a fracture in a huge cosmic "bone" in the Milky Way galaxy, using NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory and radio telescopes.
The bone appears to have been struck by a fast-moving, rapidly spinning neutron star, or a pulsar. Neutron stars are the densest known stars and form from the collapse and explosion of massive stars. They often receive a powerful kick from these explosions, sending them away from the explosion's location at high speeds.
Enormous structures resembling bones or snakes are found near the center of the galaxy. These elongated formations are seen in radio waves and are threaded by magnetic fields running parallel to them. The radio waves are caused by energized particles spiraling along the magnetic fields.
This new image shows one of these cosmic "bones" called G359.13142-0.20005 (G359.13 for short), with X-ray data from Chandra (colored blue) and radio data from the MeerKAT radio array in South Africa (colored gray). Researchers also refer to G359.13 as the Snake.
Examining this image closely reveals the presence of a break, or fracture, in the otherwise continuous length of G359.13 seen in the image. The combined X-ray and radio data provides clues to the cause of this fracture.
Astronomers have now discovered an X-ray and radio source at the location of the fracture, using the data from Chandra and MeerKAT and the National Science Foundation's Very Large Array. A likely pulsar responsible for these radio and X-ray signals is labeled. A possible extra source of X-rays located near the pulsar may come from electrons and positrons (the antimatter counterparts to electrons) that have been accelerated to high energies.
The researchers think the pulsar likely caused the fracture by smashing into G359.13 at a speed between one million and two million miles per hour. This collision distorted the magnetic field in the bone, causing the radio signal to also become warped.
At about 230 light-years long, G359.13 is one of the longest and brightest of these structures in the Milky Way. To put this into context, there are more than 800 stars within that distance from Earth. G359.13 is located about 26,000 light-years from Earth, near the center of the Milky Way.
The research is published in the journal Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society.

The Crab Nebula
Tumblr media
The Crab Nebula, cataloged as M1 and NGC 1952, is one of the most studied and well-known supernova remnants in the sky, located in the constellation Taurus. Here are some key points about it:
Origin: The Crab Nebula is the result of a supernova explosion observed in 1054 AD by Chinese, Japanese, and Arabic astronomers, who noted it as a "guest star" visible even in daylight for about 23 days. This event was one of the first recorded supernovas, making the Crab Nebula the first astronomical object identified as corresponding to a historically observed supernova explosion.
Structure and Composition:
It's an expanding cloud of gas and dust, approximately 11 light-years in diameter, located about 6,500 light-years from Earth. The nebula is expanding at a rate of about 1,500 kilometers per second.
The nebula includes intricate filaments that are mostly hydrogen, but it also contains elements like oxygen, sulfur, and iron, which were expelled during the supernova explosion.
Pulsar: At the heart of the Crab Nebula is the Crab Pulsar (PSR B0531+21), a neutron star that is the collapsed core of the original star. This pulsar rotates about 30 times per second, emitting beams of radiation that sweep across space like a lighthouse. This rapid rotation and strong magnetic field create a pulsar wind nebula, where charged particles are accelerated, producing synchrotron radiation visible in X-rays, gamma rays, and other wavelengths.
Scientific Significance:
The Crab Nebula has been crucial for understanding supernova remnants and pulsar behavior. Observations across different wavelengths (from radio to gamma rays) have provided insights into the physics of these phenomena.
It has been used for calibration in X-ray and gamma-ray astronomy due to its consistent brightness, though it's noted that its status as a calibration source has diminished over time.
Observations:
The nebula was first identified as a nebulous object by John Bevis in 1731 and later by Charles Messier in 1758, who cataloged it as M1 to avoid confusing it with comets. Its name derives from an 1844 drawing by William Parsons, 3rd Earl of Rosse, which somewhat resembled a crab.
Various telescopes have observed the Crab Nebula, including the Hubble Space Telescope, Chandra X-ray Observatory, Spitzer Space Telescope, and more recently, the James Webb Space Telescope, each adding layers of detail about its composition and dynamics.
Cultural Impact: Beyond its scientific value, the Crab Nebula has cultural significance, with its bright supernova having been potentially observed by many ancient cultures, including possibly Native American groups.
This nebula continues to be a subject of study due to its complex structure, energy emissions, and the history of its formation, contributing significantly to our understanding of stellar evolution, supernova dynamics, and the physics of neutron stars.
Grok AI
It should be added to the description made by Artificial Intelligence that despite the thorough study of the object, the distance to the Crab Nebula is still known with a very large margin of error — up to 25%. In more rigorous scientific articles, it is indicated as 6500 ± 1600 light years. Consequently, the linear size of the nebula is known to us with approximately the same relative spread of values.
At the end of the publication is a short video created based on a photograph of the Crab Nebula obtained using the JWST (James Webb Space Telescope):

🔥🫂😒💞⚡️
❄️: What's your dream theme/plot for a fic, and who would write it best?
You know, I'd love to read a seasons-long slowburn Kamisco fic. Despite what some people say, I think Kamisco could very well happen even if they met earlier...and tbh, that would give them the chance to have more onscreen development and be more beloved as a couple (especially since Cisco started taking more of a backseat past season 2-3). And I would absolutely trust @icedteaandoldlace to do it properly if they were so inclined 💞
🍄: Share a head canon for one of your favourite ships or pairings
Iris fell first (specifically during Barry's coma, though her feelings took a backseat when she started dating Eddie), Caitlin fell harder (during s2—2x18 could be read as a scene where Caitlin is pining for Iris, and when writing Snowest, I tend to read it that way. And in a Snowest-endgame world...Iris prods further, and they end up together 🥰)

Hi!!! so I was wondering if I could request a Eobard x fem reader fic where the reader works at star labs (before the particle accelerator explosion) and is competing with Hartley for a promotion, so reader decides to seduce Eobard into giving it to her followed by some smut. if your not comfortable writing this that’s okay! it’s just boss!eowells is really plaguing my thots rn 😩😩😩
IM GIGGLING AND KICKING MY FEET
Tumblr media
Warnings: smutty, use of good girl, he's baby girl, use of sir possibly heheHEHE (sorry I'm so rusty)
Y/N really wanted the promotion and needed it. Your rent just really went up. It was the landlord just being a complete ass about it. Y/N was thinking of ways to do get the promotion that was right but none of it seemed to work because Hartley wanted the same promotion. Y/N groaned to themselves at her work desk. It was starting to get late, and you had been trying to get the most done. Then an idea came in mind. You noticed how your boss aka Harrison Wells would steal glances at you. A plan was coming through. Although you never thought you would have done that. You knew he always stayed late. You decided to go to his office. Of course, Hartley was there chatting with Harrison. You knocked on the office door. Questioning if this was the right idea. "Come in." Eobard said. He knew it was you. He dismissed Hartley telling him to get some rest. Hartley didn't want to but knew it was best not to fight the orders. He walked out after you came in and gave you a glare. You ignored it. Eobard smiled at you. He was glad he hired you.
You approached his desk and put a huge smile on. He looked at you knowing something was up but didn't comment. "I'm surprised you haven't gone home; you usually care about sleep." He chuckled.
"I haven't finished what I wanted to do for the day. I was hoping we could talk." You said trying to start up a conversation. You decided to go behind his desk and sit on his desk. He watched as you did that and held back the smirk. He saw how you skirt was riding up.
"Ah, I see, what do you want to talk about?" he asked as he sat in his chair and leaned back. He was now purposely looking at you.
"I wanted to admit something, I haven't been able to... it could risk my job." You said and bit your lip more out of nervousness. He nodded. "You can tell me anything." Eobard said. You took a deep breath.
"I like you; I like my boss." You spoke. "I can't get you out of my head." You spoke. It wasn't even a lie. He didn't seem surprised and leaned forward.
"I see, how come you didn't tell me before?" He asked. You blushed a bit.
"I can't lose my job... I've been trying to get the promotion.... cause I do need it." You said and moved closer. Eobard nodded and smiled.
"I can help you with both." He spoke. He leaned forward and slowly stood up. You looked up at him. You hardly said anything he was already saying this? He gently grasped your hips with one hand and lifted your chin with the other. His thumb rubbing your lip as he looked into your eyes. "You can say no anytime." He added and you nodded.
Eobard leaned in and kissed you slowly and you melted into the kiss and kissed him back. He pulled you closer to him getting desperate and more by the second. His hand on your hip moving up to your neck. He pulled away to look into your eyes. "You're so beautiful." He spoke in a tone saying he meant it. "I've been waiting for this."
Eobard was quick to kiss you again. He thought your dumbfounded reaction was adorable. Did you really not see? He smirked a bit and sat back and pulled you into his lap. You gasped. You started to grind against his one thigh. He watched as you did this. He pulled away from the kiss.
"Oh, what a needy girl, huh?" He said into your ear as he leaned in close to ear before kissing down your neck. His hands started to pull your blouse off. You whimpered. "Want more?" He teased. You nodded. "Words my sweet lady." He said. You pouted for a second.
"Please sir." You said not knowing what slipped. His eyes darkened more.
"Good girl, you keep calling me that and I am all yours." He spoke. He lifted you up enough to get your skirt and underwear off after getting your bra off. He admired your body as you sat there in his lap. "Now how about you help your boss?" He didn't really ask. You nodded quickly and got his pants off and his underwear. You went bright red. "You are sure my sweet lady." he asked again.
"Yes sir, I'm sure." You answered. He pulled you close again and chuckled as his hand moved down your body and he felt how wet you are already for him.
"So wet already for your boss hm?" He teased you and you whimpered as he continued to rub your clit.
"Please sir~" You whined. He chuckled and prepared you for a few more minutes before sinking you down slowly. You gasped and moaned as he felt so good inside of you. He groaned at how well you fit him. You were made for him. He slowly moved your hips to get you used to it. After a minute you got the rhythm and started to ride him. The office was filled of moans and groans of pleasure. An occasional whimper of pleasure. You were getting close and closer to cumming so was Eobard. He could tell.
"Cum for me my good girl~" he said. He had started to thrust up. You moaned as you started to quiver as you came. "Oh~ Good girl." He said as he came with a moan. He had you lean against him as he rode out each of your highs. "You got the promotion but a different one love." He smirked. "You will be everywhere with me." He spoke. "And i mean everywhere." He said with a darker smirk. He wasn't letting go of you now. Not even when his plan gets in motion. And you will be coming with him.

Burning Bridges
“I am Kalrose, commander of the Second Armada of the Akaviri. We are on our way to a peacekeeping operation in the Pegasus cluster. Humanity is not our enemy, but it will be if you continue to detain us in your piss puddle agrarian star system. Step away from the FTL launcher and no one will die. Remain in front and we will plow through your craft. Either way you will not stop us.”
The human freighter acting as a makeshift gate in front of the launcher did not move. If anything, it centered itself more, in order to better face the Akaviri flagship head on.
Then it broadcasted back.
“Your ‘peacekeeping mission’ in the Pegasus cluster is a genocide. We will not stand back and let you commit this atrocity. We may not have the men or the ships to destroy your fleet, but we don’t need to destroy your fleet in order to keep you from reaching the battlefield. Our piss puddle’s name is ‘Zion.’ In time, you will call it ‘Home.’”
Kalrose barely had time to ponder the nature of that threat when the launcher fired up. The EM readings on his ship went mad, and in that brief fraction of a second, he realized he’d miscalculated. Gravely.
He didn’t know how many thousands of safety protocols had been bypassed, but the amount of power flowing to the gravitational core in the center of the launcher was easily nine times larger than the maximum rating. A micro singularity formed within the space lens, and cladding ripped itself off the hull before spiraling at near light speeds around the artificial black hole.
Kalrose had always imagined such a catastrophe as something like a fireball, reds and oranges, lots of shrapnel and clanging. Upon seeing it in person, he realized how foolish that was.
Red glows were for pokers left in hot coals. This was, for one brief moment, a star fueled on steel. It was never going to be orange.
It could only be white.
The accretion disk condensed further, the energy of the reactions happening near it somehow fueling the gravitational anomaly at the center. His comm system moved into a death scream as the material’s blackbody radiation moved past the x-ray spectrum, pure friction converting the material to energy more efficiently than even a fusion reactor could manage. The heat generated finally caused a full structural collapse, the spine of the station melting enough to wrap the whole barrel of the launcher around the spiraling singularity, twirling it in loops like thread around a spool. The reaction was accelerating now, even without electricity being able to fuel the gravitational collapse, the radiation pressure alone managing to hold the system in a highly fragile state of tensegrity. He recognized the feedback loop that was happening, radiation fueling gravity, gravity fueling radiation, on and on until-
There was no air for noise in space, but he could almost imagine the roar that the expanding cloud of ionized metal should have made as it blew past. There it was. The end of the loop. It had run out of matter to feed on, so without a balance to the compressive force it expanded outwards.
He was fortunate that the explosion was violent enough to atomize the particles. Even a fragment the size of a grain of sand would’ve been enough to take down his flagship. As a lone ion, it could be deflected by the same magnetic field that kept the crew safe during FTL jumps.
He stared numbly at the monitor.
One third of the Akaviri fleet, stranded in a farming system. Not even a shot fired.
He realized that the comm system’s scream had been replaced with the quiet pulse of an incoming broadcast. He accepted it without question, too lost to even be angry.
“Take your time recovering your senses. When you’re ready, just send us a message back. We’re going to need every hand we can on the harvest. There’s no one out there we can reach for help after this. It’s just...Us.”

Dr. Christina McGee had already dealt with more than she'd anticipated in the year since Harrison's particle accelerator fiasco. Several of her promising protégés had been injured in the explosion or simply quit, moving on to less dangerous cities, and she'd had to scramble to hire new scientists - then, as though that wasn't bad enough, Harrison had the audacity to use her tachyonic prototype as a lure for some madman and had then lost it to said madman.
The same madman who was in her office now, holding an infant incorrectly and demanding a second tachyon device.
"I've already told you, you've stolen my only prototype, I don't have another-" Dr. McGee paused, pulling a face. "Oh, honestly, hand me that baby."
The Man in Yellow's face was blurred but she could still make out that narrowed his eyes behind his mask. "He's fine."
"He is not fine." She snapped, striding across the room with the sort of firm, confident gait only earned by years of dealing with scientists, politicians, and idiots. "His neck has no support and he's clearly exhausted. When was the last time he was changed or fed?" She didn't wait for an answer - just plucked the infant from his arms. "God, you're lucky he's still breathing."
The Reverse Flash let her - for now.
Eo made no sound but his tiny lip trembled and his grip on the bear plush in his arms tightened. Dr. McGee read the tension in his tiny body immediately: stress and fear were etched into every line. Likely he hadn't slept in hours. Neglected. As she turned him gently, adjusting him into a more secure hold, she got her first proper look at his face.
He was beautiful in a way that was a little...off. A little too symmetrical, too perfect, like someone had tried to make a baby from memory and gotten the basics right but missed something vital, something human. His eyes, wide and sharp, locked on her like he was waiting to decide if she was safe.
Dr. McGee frowned, smoothing a strawberry blond curl from the baby's forehead. "Where on Earth did you get him?"
The Reverse Flash didn't answer. Instead, he moved, looking like a glitch in reality as he appeared mere inches from her.
"Build a new tachyon device. I know you still have the schematics."
"I also have a master's in ethics, two doctorates, and tenure. You think I'm going to build you a device so you can drag this baby to God knows where? You're completely out of your mind."
He lifted a hand and for a moment, Dr. McGee was certain he was about to strike her. Then, the hand began vibrating and he lowered it slowly, mere millimeters away from her chest.
"Build it. Or I'll kill you and your staff."
Dr. McGee leaned back slightly, glancing toward the door - she'd never make it in time. So she bounced the baby lightly on her hip, letting him nuzzle with his drool-damp bear into her shoulder. Her voice was calm. Flat. Lethal. "You want a working prototype? You leave my team out of it. They go home. Now."
The man watched her with unreadable intensity as she held the baby to her chest. The baby was small and worryingly still in her arms, his body hot and slightly damp with the beginning signs of a fever. Or stress. Or both. He hadn't cried yet but he was whimpering softly into her ear.
"Fine." The man finally agreed and Christina exhaled for the first time in what felt like several minutes. "Send them home. But if you fail, I will find them and kill them all."
She nodded, moving to her computer immediately to begin evacuation protocols.
Christina had never considered herself particularly maternal - she'd chosen science and her career over relationships or a family, after all. Yet, holding this tiny, fragile being, she felt a sharp and unfamiliar surge of protectiveness. As she keyed in the necessary commands, her free hand rested softly on the infant's back, soothing him with gentle, circular motions.
"Let me at least feed and change him," she said, tone even, barely masking the steel beneath it. "He's already ill. If he gets sicker, you're only going to slow yourself down. Besides, whatever your plans for him, you'll need diapers and formula regardless."
The Reverse Flash's blurred form flickered with irritation. "Your attempts to stall are transparent, Doctor."
"I'm not stalling," she snapped, adjusting Eo gently in her arms. "Look at him. He's clearly ill and distressed, both of which will hinder your progress in whatever you've got planned."
Eo shifted in her arms, fingers gripping the Flash bear tightly. His fever was rising; she could feel the uncomfortable heat radiating from his tiny body. Tina brushed a soft curl from his damp forehead, acutely aware of the Reverse Flash's gaze locked on her every move.
"Fine," he growled finally. "Tell me what he needs."
She listed necessities sharply, clinical and direct. The moment she'd finished, the Reverse Flash vanished, leaving behind only a rush of wind and a crackle of red lightning. Tina stood motionless, listening to the lab settle into silence once more, broken only by Eo's soft, uneasy breaths.
With a sigh, she lowered herself into her desk chair, cradling the infant protectively against her chest. "He doesn't know anything about babies, does he?" She muttered, mostly to herself.
Eo watched her quietly, his intense blue eyes tracking her with unnerving stillness.
"It's okay, little one," she murmured gently. "I know you don't trust me yet but I promise I'm here to help."
She stroked Eo's flushed cheek, hoping to soothe the tension visibly etched into his tiny body. Slowly, gradually, he relaxed against her chest, his small form growing heavier with exhaustion. She shifted his position gently, supporting his neck better as she glanced at the clock, counting down the seconds of their fragile peace.
It took less than a minute for the Reverse Flash to return, appearing abruptly with a collection of infant supplies in hand.
"Here," he said curtly, dropping the items on the countertop. "Now, do your job."
She shot him a cold glare but didn't respond, moving briskly to the supplies instead. Tina sorted quickly through the haphazard selection, finding a clean diaper, wipes, fresh clothes, medication, and pre-mixed formula. She sighed in relief - at least he'd gotten that part right.
"Good enough," she muttered, ignoring the Reverse Flash entirely as she carried Eo to a sterile table, gently laying him down to begin her work.
The infant whimpered softly at first, his small body stiffening with anxiety as Tina swiftly changed his diaper and cleaned him up, movements deft and gentle.
"You've been through so much, haven't you?" She murmured softly, her voice pitched to reassure. "But I promise, you're safe with me. I'm not going to hurt you."
She dressed him efficiently in the fresh clothing - a soft yellow onesie, slightly oversized - and carefully measured the correct dose of infant medication to ease his fever before putting it in the bottle with the formula.
Eo accepted the bottle hesitantly at first, wary eyes never leaving Tina's face. Eventually, hunger overcame caution and he began drinking in earnest, the trembling tension in his small limbs gradually subsiding as warmth and nourishment filled him, tiny eyelids drooping.
Once Tina was certain he'd fully drifted off, she laid Eo gently in a makeshift cradle - the sofa in her office padded with towels and blankets from the staff room. His tiny fingers stayed stubbornly curled around the bear's leg, a small anchor in a world that had likely given him few comforts.
Finally turning, she faced the Reverse Flash directly, her tone ice-cold and professional once more. "He's resting now. I suggest you leave him undisturbed if you want the tachyon device done quickly and correctly."
His blurred figure stood unmoving, radiating irritation, but he gave her a terse nod. "Then get to work," he ordered sharply. "Remember, the clock is ticking, Doctor."

"New research suggests that these ultra-high energy rays derive their energy from magnetic turbulence."
"Ultra-high energy cosmic rays, which emerge in extreme astrophysical environments—like the roiling environments near black holes and neutron stars—have far more energy than the energetic particles that emerge from our sun. In fact, the particles that make up these streams of energy have around 10 million times the energy of particles accelerated in the most extreme particle environment on earth, the human-made Large Hadron Collider.
Where does all that energy come from? For many years, scientists believed it came from shocks that occur in extreme astrophysical environments—when, for example, a star explodes before forming a black hole, causing a huge explosion that kicks up particles.
That theory was plausible, but, according to new research published this week in The Astrophysical Journal Letters, the observations are better explained by a different mechanism. The source of the cosmic rays’ energy, the researchers found, is more likely magnetic turbulence. The paper’s authors found that magnetic fields in these environments tangle and turn, rapidly accelerating particles and sharply increasing their energy up to an abrupt cutoff.
“These findings help solve enduring questions that are of great interest to both astrophysicists and particle physicists about how these cosmic rays get their energy,” said Luca Comisso, associate research scientist in the Columbia Astrophysics Lab, and one of the paper’s authors.
The paper complements recent research published by Comisso and collaborators on the sun’s energetic particles, which they also found emerge from magnetic fields in the sun’s corona. In that paper, Comisso and his colleagues discovered ways to better predict where those energetic particles would emerge."
