Israel has the West Bank on the verge of economic collapse (on top of the increasing harassment, theft and violence being inflicted on them). There's absolutely no point to this but cruelty, you don't keep violence from breaking out in a population by causing them immense financial harm. Financial desperation will make people more likely to do violent and desperate things, for obvious reasons.

It almost feels like they want to provoke the West Bank into doing something desperate so they can "finish the job" with more international support. That's a bleak prediction but about what I'd expect from these genocidal maniacs. Let's hope I'm wrong.

🚨 In a new massacre, the IOF launched a strike targeting a tent of displaced people in the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades Hospital in Deir Al-Balah, central #Gaza.

At least 2 martyrs have ascended and a number of injuries have been reported.

A number of journalists were also injured in the vicinity of the Hospital.

Rise of SETTLER VIOLENCE & POGROMS in OCCUPIED West Bank

Human Rights Watch said in their latest report that the Israeli military either took part in or did not protect Palestinians from violent settler attacks in the West Bank, which have displaced people from 20 communities and have “entirely uprooted at least seven communities since October 7, 2023”. HRW has documented cases of assault, torture and sexual violence against Palestinians at the hands of settlers. The organisation also spoke of the stealing of Palestinians’s belongings and livestock, as well as death threats if they do not leave permanently and destructions of homes and schools under the pretext of the ongoing war in Gaza. “Many Palestinians, including entire communities, have fled their homes and lands,” the report said. “The military has not assured displaced residents that it will protect their security or allow them to return, forcing them to live in precarious conditions elsewhere.”

[ISRAEL HAS NO JURISDICTION IN THE WEST BANK]

How can a foreign country imposed their laws on another nation when they are not even citizens of that country?

Israel being a creation of the United Nations, are bound by the United Nations resolutions and borders which specifically creates which areas form part of “Israel”.

It’s no surprise that a country without a formal Constitution may easily get confused in understanding the real meaning of “sovereignty” and “respect for the rule of laws”.

The West Bank is not even part of Israel, the Palestinians are not even granted Israeli Citizenship. Why and on what basis is Israel detaining Palestinians in their own soil when Israeli law only applies within Israel.

Can you imagine if your neighbouring country imposes their laws on your soil when you are not even a citizen of that country?

We surely can’t but somehow the lawless apartheid regime finds no error in it.

Hamas says Israel refused an offer to release more captives and the dead bodies of an Israeli family killed in Israeli airstrikes.

Settlers Taunting Palestinian Woman (older photo)

Since the recent conflict started up I haven't been able to stop thinking about this horrible photo. This picture was my wakeup call about the Israel Palestine conflict when I first saw it several years ago. It got me curious enough to read a thorough history of the region and I was horrified. Particularly horrified that people like these vile young men are still to this day allowed to walk into people's neighborhoods and harass them and regularly steal their homes from them. Hundreds of thousands of people are actively settlers on stolen land, and moderates/conservatives in Israel's government give them guns and encourage it!

If anyone out of the loop is wondering why Palestinians are still so perpetually angry at Israel this is a large part of it. This harassment, theft and violence has been perpetual for decades. There is no hope for peace as long as land is still being actively taken. Can you imagine living somewhere your whole life and a guy with a gun comes to your door, points it at you and tells you it's his home now? And laughs at you while you leave? How could you ever come to accept that?
