Even after I’ve watched Last Wish over and over, the scene that gets me every time is when Kitty thinks Puss is going to wish for more lives just to live them as a legend above it all, and in the most last ditch effort way to make her understand, Puss just calls out.

“Kitty, Death is after me!”

It is the most heartbreaking line in how desperate Puss is. He just can’t have her leave again, and it’s so UGHHH 😭

Spoilers for those who are watching/wanting to watch the Puss in Boots show.

THAT'S HOW IT ENDS!? EVERYONE FORGETS PUSS?! Like, sure, a copy of Dulcinea gets to adventure with Puss but, everyone else... all his friends, his home. It even says it in the show: San Lorenzo is Puss's home. Hell, now the Dutchess is still evil AND doesn't remember her 3 sisters. The Evil Sword is still out there and the Good Sword won't be able to stop it without Puss and Dulcinea's help.

Like, I know that he said that puss would bring the downfall of the entire world in every timeline if he stepped foot in San Lorenzo, but without his help for 6 seasons straight, a lot of stuff will never happen that NEEDS to happen.
