I know I haven't mentioned it in a while but I'm still red-stringing about the symbolism of tea vs coffee btw. Alice found a tape recorder and now Sam’s bringing her tea. She's been introduced to the Archives' universe. She's upset and goes to make herself coffee instead. She refuses to be drawn in and finds refuge in the comforting and familiar instead.

Atsushi stops as he's pouring tea over his rice. He sees Ryuu standing in the doorway of his room, wearing one of his larger pajama shirts and long soft pants. He doesn't like too much of his skin exposed but Atsushi observes with a pleased feeling in his gut that the hickeys stand out on the visible part of his collar bones.

"I did not what?" Atsushi asks.

"You just used my new high brand sencha for that abominable bowl that you call food." Ryuu looks very put off.

"It's tea over rice. I need tea and all your tea is high end." Atsushi points out.

Ryuu frowns.

"It's what tea is for," Atsushi continues.

"This is grounds for divorce," Ryuu says.

Atsushi stares at him.

"We're not married," Atsushi says.

"We could have been," Ryuu says. "But now, no longer."

Atsushi is in love with him. He's going to marry this stupid man.

"Get over here and eat this abominable thing that isn't food with me," Atsushi laughs.

"I will not. You have most likely made it sloppily and incorrectly. I already know you did not make the tea correctly." Ryuu crosses his arms.

"Then you should teach me how to make it correctly," Atsushi suggests.

"Why should I learn how to make food, that I don't eat, for you?" Ryuu looks confused.

"You won't?" Atsushi pouts.

"Are you a child?" Ryuu scoffs.

"You're the one that picked me," Atsushi says and watches in delight as Ryuu starts to walk into the kitchen.

"And I wonder why every day," Ryuu says, taking the teapot from Atsushi's fingers. "I can tell you burnt the tea."

"Then I should make my partner make his perfect tea for me," Atsushi smiles.

"Shut up," Ryuu puts a finger to Atsushi's lips and lifts the lid of the teapot to smell the contents. "You are correct, I would rather make tea for you than have you burn perfectly good sencha."

"Are we getting married then?" Atsushi teases.

"I'm not marrying someone who can't make decent tea," Ryuu sniffs.

"I'll have to learn then," Atsushi smiles.

If your seeing this, hey! (including slightly more stressed me probably.)

I put this in my queue thinking that, oh you might just need to let people know that its good to take a moment sometimes.

But writing it, looking at this and seeing these words written, (I have this queued for the week my dissertation is due.) I realise that there may be blorbo's or It may feel like your going at like 100 miles an hour.

But just sit a moment, take a breath. Remind yourself that you are capable of doing it. That you've made it through every day of your life before this one. And you'll make it through this one too.

Remind yourself, cause I have to remind myself sometimes, that it's okay to ask for help. Even if the depression tells you no, even if the anxiety tells you no.

It's okay, it'll be okay in the end.
