Spoilers for anyone who hasn't finished it yet!

It was a freaking blast, a rollercoaster of emotions, I honestly thought that Mr Reca, with how cuckoo he was in the trailer, was gonna be the antagonist, turns out he's a quirky memokeeper (who may still have his motives but for now he was definitely an ally) I guess, much like the galaxy rangers, there is no uniform, because I honestly thought they all would have some resemblance to Black Swan, but I can't wait to see more memokeepers, as well as more galaxy rangers

Speaking of galaxy rangers, ok!! Rappa and Boothill were the real protagonists here!!!! Poor trailblazer became a side character to these two champions and I love it!!! I've already made it clear that I adored Rappa from the moment her drip marketing dropped, I initially found her strange way of referring to everything as ninja stuff hilarious and quirky, I thought "are all galaxy rangers gonna talk funny?" But that was my first impression, now I wanna [forking] cry!!! I was already skeptical of this "Master Kucha" from the way he spoke! I didn't know that he was basically like the only parental figure she had, she's one of Dr Primitive's (Evil Ninja Osaru) test subjects in a hidden lab (Ninja capital) having to undergo harmful tests and torture (Ninja trials) this, coupled with the fact that her only source of free time and entertainment has been a ninja manga, she may have developed some sort of mental/ identity disorder, she's been living in a fabricated reality and no one can help her because they don't see the full picture, even her backstory has been distorted by her own retelling making her some sort of unreliable narrator in her own story. Dr Primitive is truly a despicable monster, torturing people and distorting an innocent girl's mind. There's a bright side to this tragedy though! That innocent girl is now our Rappa, and although her mind has been messed with, she still became a righteous galaxy ranger, kindhearted, unmatched skill, hellbent on hunting down the cruel doctor and she definitely lives up to that title too!!! So I'm rooting for her!!! And the moment we got to fight alongside her at the end after hearing "No Dazzle No Break" was gorgeous (can't wait to finish building her so she can continue to show them the way of the ninja!)

Once I finish reading her character story, I'll make a further analysis

Speaking of which, I'm actually gonna make 2!! One for both of our stars of the show, Rappa and Boothill, two people who had to revisit their past, and come to terms with their present and future, living up to the ways of The Hunt! I already deeply respect these two, the more I get of them, the more I can't help but respect them more!!! And I'm definitely excited to get more of them!! Galaxy rangers are the best!!

Boothill's up first because obviously I've already read his backstory so his POV was like an added 5 course meal!!! But I do wanna talk about his best moments (aside from the obvious highlight that blew me away) Firstly, we got more of Boothill the identity stealer (First Pom Pom now March 7th???) Actual Robinhill moments??? (I'm more of a GunsNRoses person now but it's still really cute) The way he was so relieved that he could "fake swear" again instead of the banana cussing was hilarious, Star Rail don't do this to my man, at least give him the "Ninja slang" treatment, let him swear 😭😭 And Boothill owned the dancefloor in the DJ Robin cutscene!!! We have a rapping ninja and a dancing cowboy, could this get any better!!! And obviously, there's the Lore!!!! Which was actually insane !!! I literally wanted to avoid spoilers in order to experience it blindly and it was worth it!!!! I wanted to [fudging] cry, it was so well done!! Andrew Russell and Kendell Byrd knocked it out of the park with their scenes!!! I freaking love Boothill and Rappa so much 😭😭😭 they're both life my dude!!!

Here's my Parappa hcs and reimagine ideas for Matt & Paula

Sunny

Sunny is a cosmo flower like her mother.

Because of her mother's recent death, her dad Potter became UBER PROTECTIVE. The classic "ur the last thing of her, I have to protect you" you know.

Unrelated thing but idk when I'll ever talk about this guy but Potter HAS to be half object head, the only plant thing apart of him is his hair. idk maybe yall can figure it out... also i think he gave birth to sunny and no i will not elaborate.

Sunny is asexual and intersex but what do you expect, she's a plant.

She got all her arm strength from her dad. All those home military drills really helped.

She's superb at skateboarding but tends to not do so beings she doesn't want to get her dress ruin. But give her time to change, and she'll start shreddin.

Sunny has Bipolar disorder type 1.

Sunny grew up a lil sheltered. She lives in the middle of the woods and only goes into town for groceries! She started going out more and more when she started school for the first time, especially after she got some friends.

I'm taking this headcanon from the fic life in parappa town and expanding it but Sunny is in this plant belief system where you stay loyal to Mothernature and when you die you'll become a part of her. She doesn't eat meat, she gives back to nature and be kind to all Mothernature's creatures.

Sunny take cares and own her mother's "small" farm. She used to give her produce to the community for free, but because of the government finding out about that, she had to put it on pause. She either sells it for big money, or the government will take her land and profit from it them self.

Parappa

Parappa is his rap name. His name is Pa and his nickname is Pappy.

He's a bagel and hound mix, but has more bagel dog tendencies.

He's hat was bought by his mom before she left.

Parappa's mom divorce her husband after one too many financial crises, just when Parappa was just graduated high school. (explaining the past tense in PtR2) Leaving Pappy with Papa Rappa while she takes care of Pinto herself.

His Mama always encouraged Parappa to reach his dreams as long it wasn't expensive. So after everything, Parappa was more determined than ever to believe in himself and never give up.

Parappa would do anything for Sunny, he would kill Joe Chin even!

After a while working at the videogame shop, Parappa will later work for Master Onion cuz at least he pays him.

Parappa has the n card cuz he's cool like that. im tired of hearing 'who gave him the n card?' well maybe he just born with it. stop judging my dog bro

Parappa's rapping career just recently started. He began rapping his poems by the end of high school, luckily for him his best friend has connections to get him up there.

He grew up with classic 80s-90s rap. Pappy is an oldhead.

Pappy is anti-drug, anti-gun rights and a BIG ACAB. He is a huge believer that 'only community can fix the issues and not some cops that with guns trying to make the problem worst' but if you listen to parappa's album you've probly already saw this coming.

He still an up-and-coming artist, eventho he's known around the town and performed with Club fun's mc twice... he just started selling his first album.

Pappy is pretty smart and could have got into a science major like his dad but choose music instead. His father wept.

Parappa guessed that Katy is lesbian years before she started dating Lammy because the god awful dates she would go on.

Parappa loves frogs, they're his favorite animal.

He has a concentration issue, dude can't stay on track for the life of him. And no he doesn't know he has ADHD.

His ass has maladaptive daydreamer.

Boxy boy was made for Parappa by his dad because of tendency to daydream everywhere and anywhere, he gives him sense.

Pappy has a stuttering and lisp problem, but it adds an interesting element to his raps.

Pappy can NOT keep a secret. He WILL tell Sunny!

Pj

Pj or further known as King Berri is still the same as always, maybe a lil more tired.

He uses king as a stage name so he can have a bit of his fantasy come true.

Eats weed brownie everyday.

Pj now wears a hooding for pure comforter, it like wearing sleepingbag at all times.

Pj seems very comfortable with his life but he really just compliant.

Pj is estranged from his family. They have not talked in years and he doesn't plan on changing that.

Just like everyone, Pj doesn't hate being a dj but just hate working. All the fun he had for his craft was gone a long time ago. But if he still gets paid by his boss MC Mushi and gets his 'stuff' then his fine.

Pj is brutally honest to Parappa like always, someone got to be the straight man in the friendship.

He's the most likely in the friendship to get the other in trouble.

Pj lives in the college housing, particularly in the basement. He just likes it down there. But funny enough, it turns out the house doesn't stay as empty as what the staff said it would be.

He's roommate is Matt. He's not that bad when you get to know him, He's just a bit snobby, know-it-all and WAY to competitive... but chill? Ok he's a Chin but hey, atleast he's better then Joe.

Him and Matt met one rainy day when the power went out and Matt got jumpedscared but the bear in the basement.

Katy

Chatty Katty was her nickname back in high school and even in the college campus right now. She gets this nickname not because she talks bad of anyone, honestly the opposite. She talks up everyone she knows! Right after talking up herself.

Katy was a church goer growing up, so no duh she'll know everyone in the community.

Her and Pappy were in the church choir growing up, that's how they met. Later she got introduced Pj in school, the three of them started hanging out after that.

Parappa gives the biggest little brother vibe to Katy.

Katy has the vocabulary of a old lady and it's because of the older lady she works with at the diner.

Katy is that friend that went on so many bad dates, tells you about and it makes you think HOW the hell are you still dating men??

She met Lammy after running into each other from the college lecture hall. And she immediately invited her to the milkcan band practice.

Lammy and Katy were a will-they-won't-they thing then they met. Lammy likes Katy but doesn't think she would like her, Katy likes Lammy but doesn't think she's likes women so she continues going for men.

Katy has been going to church less as she goes into college, jobs, dates, band practice and battling the gay thoughts. oooo scary

Katy and Sunny met in middle school, Katy never liked the idea of girls tearing each other down. And Katy was right, Sunny was sweet as she thought.

Katy introduced Sunny to the boys and everyone went nicely, they shared lunch together.

Paula

Paula is base off a kit fox, she just put makeup over her facial mark.

She's got abit of rewrite; She's from a new money household but unlike her parents that fell into complete greed, She's still her old self.

Paula is a tomboy at heart and her true love is basketball and women.

She's a business major oooo. AND the captain of the basketball team.

She still beefing with Katy but you know- it's a friendly rivalry. Or at least it becomes one.

Paula has a little crush on Sunny after meeting her but she's very respectful about it and very real told anyone about it... besides Katy... who told Pj... who told Matt... who told Parappa... who told Sunny. But otherwise Paula got turned down rather nicely and took it well.

Matt

Matt and Joe are doodles, partially a cockapoo.

He is the younger brother of Joe Chin and makes it his LIFE GOAL to be Parappa's rival.

He bascally bradley for the extremely goofy movie.

Matt has a big gay crush on Pappy but he refuse to admit!

Joe Chin got to inherit the family business without even doing anything and Matt is really mad about that. So he's in school for a business degree and in the frat club for extra bonus points. All to impress his parents and get the family business instead.

Ok not related to Matt hcs but just one thing- I think Joe Chin is a womanizer manipulative creep! That's why Matt is a funny villain while Joe is a flatout villain villain.

There more hcs in the bottom but I didn't feel comfortable putting up with more of the light hearted stuff so...

2.6 Penacony thoughts [part 3]

**Spoiler warning** for the very last bit of the story, starting with the party setup and everything that follows after. Of course don’t read further you haven’t finished the story for yourself because I wouldn’t like the ruin the experience for you.

I always love how self aware the game is. I personally can’t remember why he would be here right now but his tendency of using movie terms so passionately at every chance he gets is endearing to me for some reason, so I’ll let his sudden appearance slide just because I enjoy having him around.

Boothil calling Robin “singing queen” is something I didn’t know I needed until it was said and done, like shut up that’s adorable.

Him opening up about his past in an attempt to calm her down before the performance.. y’all, this pair was cute to me before but this whole patch has sold me on them.

Reca literally calling people npcs but at least he says they can still hold value and the power to influence others. I think life can be thought of this way too, like other people obviously can’t be you, they may not even be part of your supporting cast of characters, but they’re still human and should at least be treated with kindness because who knows how they may or may not affect your life.

Robin mentions Sunday once and all I can imagine is him still chained up to that chair Jade found him in. Really looking forward to seeing how our holy man manages to return in 2.7. I’m still placing my own hopes on him accepting Jade’s deal but we shall see. If so, I’m curious to learn what the consequence will be and how people’s opinions of Jade might change. I wonder, if she saves your beloved Sunday, would y’all still dislike her? I’m already so fond of her so naturally I’d love to give her more praise if such a scenario does happen.

But Robin has seemed so downcast ever since that final battle. Poor girl. She really has been doing so much on her own since Sunday got locked up. You don’t have to do everything by yourself sweetie! So many people are willing to help!

Ma’am you're so pretty. DJ queen is truly a bright and beautiful sight to behold! I’m glad she’s able to smile so big after all the chaos Penacony experienced recently.

And then we have our lovable cowboy sitting off to the side enjoying the show.. until some random npcs come over and drag him to the dance floor so he can really sway to the beat.

As much as I love seeing the Trailblazer wield different weapons in cutscenes, I really wish we pulled out the bat or lance for this one. Seeing us hold out the hat while Dan Heng wields Cloud-piercer and Rappa with her giant shuriken just makes us look a bit silly.

I did like how Reol’s song from Rappa’s trailer played in game during that whole section where all we did was spam Rappa’s technique and chase down Profnana. I hope Hoyo continues to include trailer songs more in the actual story in the future, like how they included a calmer version of Monodrama during the 2.3 Sparkle bomb hunt scene.

All that nonsense with the monkeys is happening and March is over here just living her best life at the concert. I suppose that’s fair. She was hard at work during our recent trip back to the Xianzhou with her training arc, fight against Hoolay and calming down a raging Feixiao, so now it’s our turn to endure all the craziness.

Never in my life would I have imagined seeing Boothill in the spotlight during one of Robin’s shows and yet here we are.

He’s such a fun, entertaining character.. I guess if he can moonwalk during his own trailer, he’s perfectly capable of tap dancing and busting out some silly moves like this.

Behold! A literal definition of crashing into a party.

At least we provided Dan Heng with a soft landing? Seems we’re totally fine with it too if the rock n roll hand signs are anything to go by.

Rappa naturally makes a much calmer landing, until one of her spray can bonks her on the head again. Still a fine ending to a successful mission.

Damn dude, what else has the IPC done to you?

I’m actually not too surprised to see Rappa act this way? like she doesn’t seem the type of person to be completely hung up on getting revenger over someone else who wronged her. She’ll still feel hatred towards them, sure, but she’s able to put all those emotions aside and focus on other things if she wants to, like that whole band side quest that recently started.

I dunno, I still think attending university in a dream is such a wild concept. Penacony is truly a bizarre place.

Oohh boy. Safe to say we’ll be seeing these two again in the future, yeah?

Well, that’s all for now. I did finish the whole band side quest that had all the rhythm games last night and it was fine. Far less Serval than I had originally expected with how the 2.6 livestream introduced the event though, but at least she was there for a fleeting moment.

sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo i finished alllll my exams :3 i got 4 days free since exam break so i been chilling :D i acc think i did pretty well on my gr12 exams, i alrdy got my grades for ela back and i got 80 on the written and reading comprehension!! thats acc quite good for me lol, i always usually get like 70 on comprehension so am happy :3 am js kinda nervous cuz it takes a minimum of 3 weeks of chem and math to get posted which suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks :(

i also got new glasses today!! i acc choose them back in december but they took 5 weeks to come back :( i think they got lost in the mail or lab lol.

i have work tmrw and its like 2;30am heehe, i acc have hsr farming for sunday relics rn hehe

since i got THE herta ive been building sunday and surprisingly got some good relics for him :3 my only prblem is that my mini herta is kinda trash ehe. ive been tryna pull for jade by js farming for jades but tis kinda hard since non of my teams r rlly good enough for alotta end game content. i have a problem with pulling only supports lol... i also still havent built rappa and i got her day one of her banner... i kinda regret pulling for her since ion rlly even have a team for her :( i've also looked to see abt building rememberance tb but ill prbly do it at a later time to see if they r needed in meta or smthin.

i also havent touched zzz in a while, i should prbly log on to check up on events and stuff ehe. i am still saving for the vtuber girls and i think i have like 100+ pulls and a guarenteed so am js hopin i have enough :D

Quick heads up: there’s brief overdose mention and suicide right at the end so be wary of that if you think that’ll be triggering to you.

What I like about him: How much he clearly cares for Tabe and Setsuno (blah blah the camaraderie warms my heart, blah blah trauma from having no friends in school blah blah), pretty Crystals, buff man make brain go brrr.

What I dislike about him: that one screenshot where you can see he’s got stubble under his mask. No. Fucking shave your face dude. You already shave your head. Also that he got no screen time outside of getting his ass kicked :’)

Favourite moment: explaining why he and the other 2/3s of the trash trio are so close and that they’re not worth anything without each other (EEEEEEEEEE-)

Situations I want to see more: Give me day to day trash trio shenaniganary. I want them doing normal stuff: going grocery shopping, hanging out with the other bullets, pestering overhaul, just slice of life stuff. I’d also love his relationships with Toya and Tabe to be developed more. Like, yeah, they’re trash but with each other they’re trash with meaning (EEEEEEEE-*is knocked out) but I want to know the actual dynamics. Toya is supposed to be the leader, do they actual respect that? (See more on this in the head cannon bit)

Interesting AU: One where he’s in a bizarre interlinked family tree with like, 6 others from the series. This is one me and my bf made, I dubbed it the Sin AU because each person’s quirk is from one of the seven deadly sins: Midnight is Lust, Deidoro is Gluttony, Monoma is Envy, Hojo is Greed, Tiger is Sloth, and there were two more I can’t recall at the current time. It doesn’t really do much other than add another layer of depth to the character, but I think it’s cool none the less. (Also I wanna see how the family reunions would go lol)

Crossover: Give this man a cavern crasher, give this man a rock stomper, we’re going to Berk, Gadies and Lents. I wanna see the entire Hassaikai with dragons from how to train your dragon so bad!! (I actually have headcannons for everyone! If you want to know I’ll elaborate in the notes)

OTP: ok ok ok. It’s weird, I know, but you gotta hear me out on this one: Hojo and Pixie Bob. The reason I say this is linked back to the Sin AU (Ibara must have coded my iPad or something, it won’t let me type sin without autocorrecting to sun a million times) because I Headcannon Deidoro and Ragdoll to be friends/partners/no one can fucking tell, so because Ragdoll and pixie are best friends, and in that au Deidoro and hojo were brothers, plus Hojo and tiger were related, it just kinda fell into place. Plus Pixie is super desperate for a partner and I feel like Hojo gets zero bitches, he’s the human embodiment of the ‘No bitches?’ Meme. Anyways.

Other ships: Overhaul and Chrono (because under no circumstance will I ever split them up). Purely cos I saw a post saying that entire rant about the trash trio being useless without overhaul and them owing everything to him was said by Hojo, not Setsuno, and it sounding like he had a crush on him.

BROTP: the rest of the trash trio. Duh.

NOTP: anyone from the league except now that I think about it I can weirdly see him working with Magne? …hm. And any pro too.

Headcannon time!!!

1. While Setsuno is the ‘leader’ of the trash trio, and he’s good at it, don’t get me wrong, he can definitely strategise and knows what he’s doing, he’s terrible at just…existing day to day life, so Hojo typically has to help him. He’s his common sense, in a way. He’s to Setsuno what Tengai is to Rappa, just both are a lot happier with the arrangement.

2. He and Setsuno actually knew each other before they joined the hassiakai, not well but they attended the same school and had a few classes together.

3. He’s 22 years old and the oldest of the trash trio. He’s also the third tallest in the bullets at 6’1 (only Rappa and Katsukame are taller cos…yeah. Btw this is completely ignoring the canon evidence showing otherwise because Tabe is not allowed to be tall. He is baby and he is no taller than 5’3 and I will bite anyone who says otherwise. I’m only saying this because I want to be taller than at least one person in the hassiakai-)

4. Sad backstory time. He was orphaned: his dad cheated on his mum before Hojo was born and his mum died of a drug overdose when he was around four. He was then moved to live with his aunt who..wasn’t an amazing parent but was better than what he had previously. As he got older, about 16, he found out what actually happened with his parents, and attempted to find his dad. He eventually managed to get in contact with him- however his dad wanted nothing to do with him. This destroyed him and he attempted to end his life, however overhaul found him and took him in. A few months later, Setsuno joined, and then Tabe about half a year after that, and with that, the trash trio was fully formed.

Huh. Didn’t know I had that much to say about him. I really thought I’d have a few sentences for each question…anyways, hope you enjoyed!

See guys, this is what happens when you bring pepper spray to a murder fight, so to speak”- They brought the seasoning for their Knuckle sandwitches.

5) “But I mean, technically speaking, it is not much of an infiltration when you’re brought here willingly by the owners.”-Though since he now has to actually sneak out with the goods, should we consider this an exfiltration stealth mission then?

It’d be awkward if in the aftermath they had no proof that there was illegal operations going on besides “I totally saw it”.

10) “Oh my fucking god Rappa- Have I told you that you’re, like, one of my favorites? Because you definitely are.”- I honestly wish we’d found some way for him to stick around after the Overhaul arc. Certainly would have been interesting seeing him interacting more with others and encouraging them in his own violence-obsessed way.

11) “Poor Rappa, all he wants is someone he can give his best with and will give their best with him, he’s such a romantic soul looking for that special someone… Don’t worry buddy, I trust you’ll find that person, and not some asshole who’ll use you like knuckles did, you deserve better”- It’s almost like Rappa has his own heroic code of conduct, just altered more to suit his inner needs of violence in honourable combat. Heck, I don’t even think he’s ever attacked a civilian that we’ve seen, so if he wasn’t a villain obsessed with a Deathmatch, he could very nearly be a hero in his own right.

12) "Rappa please, you have to move on, this relationship will go nowhere, he’s not into this as you are, he’s just using your love for fighting for his own benefit, you deserve someone that will match your energy and wish to kill/get killed on a ring

Someone like muscular would fit nicely with you. "- Hmmm, nah, I think Muscular isn’t interested in a fair fight, he just likes the killing part, whereas Rappa is more obsessed with an even and fair fight that has you use everything you’ve got to overwhelm the other in a pitched close battle. Remember, Muscular was A-Okay with crushing and killing both Kota and Izuku, even unaware that Izuku could fighting back agasitn his strength. All that guy wants is to skip the meal and head straight to the bloody climax each time, whereas Rappa wants to gradually approach that ending one bite at a time.

13) “A far cry from the knuckles we know back in the future. But then again, you probably do enjoy the thrill fighting already, but since your quirk is not useful you’d rather focus on what is the more pragmatic option

It would still be some time until you started thinking outside the box and inside the trashcan”- Knuckles’ Quirk deprives him of the same equal rush that Rappa’s talking about here, letting him analyse attacks to dodge them minutely or one-sidedly pummel the enemy before they can properly react. Losing it reduced him to a level playing field and let him experience the joy of fighting that Rappa’s obsessed with

Another day, another train reck.

As the whole haired man thought the sentence he released a deep sigh from his chest as he walked through the corridors until he stopped at the sign of the buff man with arms crossed watching over something with a intense, but not threatening, glance.

Until he noticed it wasn't something... it was someone.

Someone that everybody inside that house knew of.

He arched one of his white eyebrows and approached the man himself before mustering a fake cough to catch his attention.

"Hey dude." The man simply grunted, not even once averting his gaze from the view.

"Can you have the little bit of respect to your own life and stop staring at (Y/n)? You know damn well what will happen if overhaul catches you." The taller man only snickered and finally averted his eyes away from you speaking with Nemoto to look down at Chrono.

You shivered in fear at the sudden shout coming from the other end of the hall as Rappa snapped his eyes up to the fuming figurine from down the hall.

You didn't even blink until you saw a flesh of purple and green pass through you and in one second, you saw Rappa exploding and coming back only to be throw on the floor with enough force to leave him gasping.

A foot soon crashed on his chest, a dark and terrifying aurea was around the man that had pinned Kendo Rappa on the floor and you blinked in shook at the sign of your usually stoic and calm boyfriend going berserk on a precept for the first time in your life.

"You dare to speak about you being better for my woman again and I will personally make you the subject for my experiments to the rest of your little miserable life you dirty pig." He growled before picking rappa by the hem of his shirt and threatening to use his quirk again.

"Come on. I dare you to flirt with her again you fucking miserable shit. I fucking dare you." He growled as Rappa only snickered.

"Look at how pissed off you are. Scared much I'm going to steal your girl?" The man chuckled weakly before coughing up blood as Chisaki literally lunched him on the stomach.

"KAI STOP THAT-!" You finally interviewed while pulling your boyfriend by his jacket as the man himself was at the verge of shouting more threats as you dragged him away before he finally scoffed and ordered someone to clean the mess up as he stormed out. With you following him.

"Kai wait-"

"I know I "killed" him and I don't care." He growled as he stepped inside your shared room and went to the bathroom to put his hand under ice water from the sink.

"Actually I was going to-"

"You wanted me to do what? Simply watch as some low thug flirted with you? Where did the respect from those man went anyway?"

"Kai let me-"

Chapter 3

“Don’t get in our way alright?” Dabi said as you followed him and the rest of the league through the long winding corridors. 

“You won’t even notice I’m there.” you grinned, throwing him finger guns. 

“Good, don’t make me regret this.”

“Overhaul is waiting for you here.” a man in a beak mask, Chrono, said.

You squealed at the mention of his name, Dabi throwing you a look of disgust and you hopped impatiently from one foot to another. 

“Y/N go stand in the corner.” Shigaraki said.

“I’ll go stand in the corner now.” you responded immediately, walking over and leaning against the wall. Overhaul looked over at you with a raised eyebrow before turning his attention back to his guests, away from your massive grin.

The meeting commenced, both sides raising their voices and making you jump as they talked about business matters, to which you completely ignored. Instead you quietly wrote down some things on a notebook, looking up at Overhaul every few minutes just to focus in on his mannerisms or voice. 

"A love letter?" A voice inquired from beside you.

You jumped suddenly, glaring at them before looking away in embarrassment.

"Yeah, what of it?" you scoffed, raising a hand up to your chest to calm your heart.

"Oh really? I was just joking."

"Well, it is I guess." 

"Is it for the burnt dude? Thinking about it you guys do seem pretty close."

"No." you shook your head, looking over to see that Rappa, who had once been stood next to Overhaul as a sort of bodyguard, now standing against the wall next to you.

He mulled for a minute before continuing. "The hand freak?"

You shook your head once again and he began tapping his feet.

"The chick?"

"It's for your goddamn boss alright?" you cursed, holding your head in your hands as he began to hysterically laugh. Hadn't a similar situation happened when you told Haru who your favourite character was? Maybe this was fate's sign of telling you that it would never be anything more than just a final boss in a video game to get back home and not a, well, love interest.

"Rappa." Overhaul snarled. "Would you like to give a good reason your childish antics?"

"Don't you dare." you glared, elbowing him in the abs as he contained his muffled laughter. "Actually shut up?" You felt very self concious in everyone's gaze, especially Overhaul's scrutinising one.

"Sorry sorry, won't happen again boss." He turned to look at you before giving you a thumbs up, to which you returned one with a grin.

"Would you two like to leave the meeting?" Overhaul asked, his tone firm.

You bowed, making sure not to speak to him, before turning to the league. "Right I'll see you guys later." you waved, grabbing Rappa's arm and harshly dragging him out of the conference room.

"Alright miss shall we continue writing your letter?"

You groaned, face palming as you followed him along the corridors. "You ruined the mood. I could've been in there peacefully watching the love of my life but then you decided to pop out of no where and now we're kicked out."

"The love of your life." Rappa snorted. "You have never even spoke to that man before."

"Well yeah..." you trailed off, "But that's just fine details, if you squint hard enough they aren't there."

"That, that is not how it works." he laughed.

"Why on earth are you fools here with a rat from the league."

"He called me a rat." you mumbled, sulking to yourself as Setsuno patted you on the back.

"Oh it's fine she's quirkless." Rappa called out, dismissing his bosses' worries with a wave.

"You're quirkless?" he turned to you, surprised that he had not been mentioned this detail when he sent his men to do background checks on the people he was meeting today. To be honest, they had turned up with close to nothing. 

You nodded, before awkwardly giving him a thumbs up. You stood in front of the man you had held so close to your heart back when he was just another ink blob on the page, but the reality of him being alive refused to sink in until this very moment.

"Fuck, he's really hot." you groaned, a roar of laughter coming from Rappa as you hear some others snickering.

"Shut up!" you glared. "You did not hear that."

"Hear what?" Overhaul echoed.

"See, he didn't hear it, no one did." you muttered.

He felt himself becoming irrated at your behaviour. Why on earth were you answering him without talking to him directly, practically ignoring the big boss of the yakuza in whose hideout you stood in, surrounded by all of his men. Your arragonce was overwhelming and he felt himself itching to take off his gloves.

Whereas on your end, you couldn't help but feel very small in his glare, very put on the spot, similar to when he had called you two out during the meeting.

"Rappa." you begged. "I literally cannot talk to him." you said quietly, moving to stand slightly behind him so that he was shielding Overhaul's view of you.

"She says she wishes to take you to bed."

"That is NOT what I said!" you screeched, hitting him on the head with your notebook.

"Ow." he laughed sarcastically before lifting the notebook out of your hands.

"Give that back you fucker." you fumed, it easily escaping your reach as the man held it above your head.

"Boss, she wants to give you something."

"Rappa I swear to fucking god..."

"It's not like you can do anything."

Overhaul raised his eyebrow, eyes a cold glare as he watched his yazuka member bicker with someone nearly half his height.

Clearing his throat, he crossed his arms. "Are you two done yet?"

You felt yourself automatically about to answer a 'yes', slapping your hands over your mouth. You shook your head before whispering a quick "Rappa give it back."

"Give that to me." Overhaul demanded, his voice a clear cut through the tension in the air.

"Don't you dare."

"Sorry Y/N, bosses' orders."

You kicked him in the back of the knee as he moved forwards towards his boss. "That tickles more than anything."

"You know what. Fuck you Rappa." you fumed, sticking your middle fingers at him before storming out of the hall, his laughter following behind.

"You never know, he might like it. There might be something ever so small that’ll touch his little frosted heart."

"Shut up!" you screamed, slamming the door, leaving Overhaul standing there, with your love letter now in his hand and the knowledge that some random person from the league found him... hot?

As a boarded plastic surgeon, working at The Arena was a pastime side-job. The place was disgusting, the manager was a sleaze bag, and the fighters were pretty much a sausage fest. Still, you got to run your medical bay your way and, for once in your life, do something more interesting than fixing rich old people's chicken jowls.

However, when a new brawler rolls into your exam room with impressive injures for you to patch, things start to get a little more exciting.

Chapters: Five

Chapter 1 Excerpt:

The taste of wasted life, sweat, and blood invaded your senses the second you opened the door to the underground arena. The music was a muddy bass line that throbbed in your ears while barely distinguishable shrieking hinted at a chorus line. It was probably a good thing you couldn't understand the lyrics. Most of the music they played in The Arena had unintelligible words only someone high on ketamine could enjoy. On your right, a drunk stumbled down the hallway to the toilets. He made it halfway before he staggered headfirst into the crumbling tile. A dark stain soaked his crotch. You pinched your nose and gripped your leather bag tighter.

This place was always disgusting.

As you passed through the “Staff Only” door, the hinges groaned like a zombie in a horror film. The frequency with which the dying cinders oscillated was giving you a migraine. One of them snuffed out just as you walked under it. For once, you were grateful for the decay around you. It was better to be in the dark than see the half-hearted attempts at looking tolerable for the gamblers. As if they even cared. No one really cared around here except you.

“So the new guy we got is pret~ty spunky,” the manager explained, puffing on a cheap cigarette.  The red light at the tip of his smoke glowed under the flickering fluorescent bulbs. His thinning hair was greasy with flakes of dandruff. His body stunk of stale curry. He circled the cancer stick in the air. “Name’s Rappa. Dude lives for a brawl and has a punch to back it up. I’m hoping to keep him around for a while. Not sure I can do it. The freak actually WANTS death matches.” He scoffed and threw up his hands. “But he rakes in the cash like a stripper with new tits, soooo...”

You wrinkled your nose at the gross remark. “If they’re my patient, I take care of them. I don’t need a sob story to do my job.”

Your companion let out a high-pitched laugh that was halfway between a goose honk and a pig’s oink. He smacked you on the shoulder. “As always, yer bedside manner is fit for kings.”

You rolled your eyes. “I’m not one of your ring card bunnies. You don’t pay me to have an approachable appearance.”

“No, I don’t. I pay ya cause ya keep my fighters going strong.” The manager flashed you a grin as he pointed to the door to the medical bay. As you strolled past him, he wrung his fat hands together. “Always a pleasure, Doc.”

Do you have any headcanons for the shie hassaiki members' 2nd genders?

Oh you bet I do.

Chisaki Kai | Overhaul: Alpha

His incredibly short temper, inspiration of loyalty through fear and degradation, absolute ruthlessness in order to reach his goals, and habit of trying to dominate everyone he gets in contact with (like Shigaraki in their first meeting) all strike me as completely alpha. One of his main motivations is protecting the Shie Hassakai and its legacy, and protection is the main instinct of an alpha.

Irinaka Joi | Mimic: Alpha

Joi’s lack of control over his emotions, super short fuse, and position as the General Manger of the Hassakai all make me see him as an alpha.

Rappa Kendou: Alpha

The dude’s entire life literally revolves around wanting to fight people, and the whole reason he’s following Overhaul is out of a desire to kick his ass someday. Couple that with his sterotypical alpha build, and I can’t see him as anything else.

Katsukame Rikiya: Alpha

He has a sterotypical alpha build, and the way he talked to Nejire gave me big “asshole alpha who thinks he’s entitled to other gender’s bodies” vibes.

Nemoto Shin: Beta

Shin’s a nerd. I think nerds are betas. Next.

Hojo Yu: Beta

Yu didn’t leave much of an impression on me, and beta is my default designation for characters I didn’t get much of a personality read from.

Tabe Soramitsu: Beta

Like Yu, I didn’t get much of a personality read from this guy (mainly because he never opened his mouth) so I’m resorting to default again.

Tengai Hekiji: Beta

Hekiji has classic beta energy; calm, composed, the support in a fight but not the main combatant, and a one-track mind to follow orders without any detours. He has the energy of a monk, and in my verse, betas were the main members of most religions.

Sakaki Deidoro: Beta

He’s very energetic, which I think is an omega trait, but he’s also quick to anger, which I think is an alpha one. When someone has a balance of omega/alpha traits, I place them as a beta.

Kurono Hari | Chronostasis: Omega

Hari is completely subserviant to Overhaul despite being his right-hand man and friend for years; an alpha or beta would’ve tried to form more of an equal relationship in my opinion. He did most of the Eri-handling; Overhaul handed her to him after he killed the guy who let her escape and he carried her during the raid. That strikes me as the natural thing for an omega to do in those situations. Also, I ship Chronohaul and think Overhaul’s an alpha, so...

Setsuno Toya: Omega

Toya’s got a lot of energy and a flair for dramatics, and his backstory includes a romantic relationship as a major component. That all makes me think of him as an omega

Who are your fave characters in bnha (aside from hawks) and your least liked. In a "i dont like this one as a character or/and as a person" kind of way or even they're just meh to you.

This is a good and surprisingly complicated question! I'll try to give at least three from each category with my reasoning as I like most of the characters for one reason or other but marking down favorites and least favorites is not as straightforward as I first thought.

I love that most of Horikoshi's characters are either loveable, likeable, enjoyable to hate, or leave a benevolently indifferent impression. There's not really many characters that get on my nerves for just existing.

Except Mineta. He can die in a ditch. But that's too easy for our purposes he doesn't count. This time...

Mina is a character I just really am drawn to every time she shows up. She's described as a people person, and as a cautious introvert who often feels the need to put on appearances to make friends in a "you do not have a high enough friendship level to unlock my tragic backstory" kind of way, I feel like if she were a person I could just relax and enjoy myself around her. She isn't dismissive of people's real fears or insecurities and prefers to let herself be the best she is right now in all of her dumbass glory. I really, really love her even if I don't give her a lot of love often.

Iida is another character I gravitate towards despite not showcasing him often. I'm just always happy to see him and his dorky, admirable self. It's like you could look up "square" in the dictionary and his picture would apply to basically all possible definitions, but it's a good thing. He's conscious and proactive even if he seems overbearing, and it's just his way of protecting his family and friends' security and happiness. It makes me feel like I would be safe and cared for in his presence, you know? Bonus points for his wholesome adoration of his big brother (who is also a majorly underappreciated background character, imo), and I can't help but headcanon him as autistic. I literally can't not see it every time he shows up at this point.

Gotta give the last spot to Fatgum. Another detail about Horikoshi's character writing I adore is that the "obvious" thing about a character usually does not end up taking up the bulk of their characterization or is usually never focused on for too long. They have lives and identities outside of one or two traits. Being huge and fat like Fatgum in a Japanese society that usually runs smaller and thinner than the rest of the world (and that is never canonically shied away from) would usually be focus of his entire character in most other series. Here, it's just a blip on his entire sheet - an important one to be sure, but it's just been embraced as a part of who he is from so far back it's beyond old news for him. Confidence, focus, determination, and enabling others' personal growth is where it's at as far as he's concerned, and I am here for it! He's just so set and comfortable in his skin that he's got more than enough to give others a boost if he can offer it.

Horikoshi has a lot of empathetic characters that feel more like people than tropes (especially in the world of anime overrun with cookie cutter personalities to fill flashy but otherwise empty character designs), so there aren't many characters I just genuinely don't like or care for. That said, there has been a pattern I've been noticing, and wouldn't you know it happens to correlate with traits I don't like in real people, either.

I cannot stand people who can never admit they can be wrong. I mean those people that might say how everyone in their family or all their last group of friends hate them/left them or how their ex was crazy and when you ask if maybe they had any idea why they go, "OMG, I don't know! 😭😭😭 I just can't seem to find anyone who will love me for who I am, warts and all. 😇😇😇"

So about the villains! To be fair, not even close to all the villains fit this bill. Most of them I either unironically love (like Rappa and Gentle Criminal) or love to hate (Dabi and Shigaraki). It just so happens that no "hero" character happens to grate or push my buttons in a way that leaves me either negatively ambivalent towards them or outright hating them. (Save one...)

Toga. Get your pitchforks, folks! BBQ is on the menu! I actually don't hate her or even dislike her. She's just not a character I can have sympathy for for very long. In a situation I couldn't just walk away from and hope to never see her again, she'd get some stern words a la Ochako a long time ago. Especially at her age I get where she's coming from and how she feels, but while asking people to just conform without question under threat of punishment is not inherently good, it's not unreasonable in her case and it's troubling she seemed to one day snap and decide she was being unduly repressed and killed someone when she looked like she otherwise had a normal life. I completely give her some grace for clearly having an "pretend it isn't there and it'll go away" kind of help, but she's capable (at least now) of realizing why people are repulsed by her behavior and that it's not unfounded. She needs much better help than what she got and certainly more than what the League offers.

I have similar problems with Spinner. He has a reasonable-enough justification for wanting to lash out at broader society, but he largely refused to help himself before the League of Villains and he'll always be working with a handicap in my book thanks to that. If he was living with parents and couldn't escape to a larger city with more inclusive attitudes towards heteromorphs I could understand, but it looked like he lived alone and either managed to finance his lifestyle or supplemented with government aid anyway, so points lost there as well. He relies on others to give him meaning, first Stain and then Shigaraki; and even then only acts on it because they give him permission to act out his aggressions in an environment that doesn't hold him accountable for it or ask him to do something constructive to change it. That came out harsher than I intended, but I really am not able to give him much room either way in this case.

Monoma. Ah, yes. The Exception™. Sorry, buddy. It's not like I don't get it. You've got a lot more in common with Bakugo than you probably like, but your brand of inferiority complex is just... Unhinged? Grossly inappropriate and misplaced? My dude, you gotta stop trying to knock others down to make yourself feel better by comparison, you can and will destroy your life doing that. I get that having a quirk that requires you to play second-fiddle is infuriating, but that's where you really need to leverage your individuality and be certain what defines your character in a vacuum. At that point you can find a way to leverage other's quirks in ways even they can't because of the sole fact that they aren't you. I know easier said than done, but I am rooting for you, buddy!

BNHA Villains Favorite Body Part

I’m currently sick so i thought this would be fun to do since i get a lot of “What are so and so’s favorite body part on their fem s/o.” ٩(♡ε♡)۶

In fact, Twice doesn’t need a mask so long as you are there with him and willing to embrace him. It’s almost like a blanket effect, he feels warm, safe, and secure.

There’s a lot going on with Twice, so it’s not just your arms he can appreciate. He likes a good pair of tits, he looks at them like a pillow when he sleeps and not to mention he just really likes playing with them.

Don’t feel awkward if he ends up giving them names either, just let him have his fun.

Chrono... Aka Hari Kurono, AKA the most possessive out of all the villains.

BnHA Chapter 149: Villain Island

Previously on BnHA: Twice confronted Nighteye with a clone of Rappa. Nighteye proceeded to beat his ass using rubber seal stamps, incidentally revealing his surprisingly cut washboard abs. Night then blasted away part of Twice’s mask, forcing Twice to retreat in a panic. His personality disorder started to get the better of him, but then Toga showed up and tied a bandana around the missing part of his mask, and it calmed him down and was also the sweetest fucking thing I’ve ever seen. Twice briefly flashbacked to the League of Villains meeting when Tomura announced that Togawice would be lent out to the Eight Precepts. Twice was against this because it turns out he feels responsible for introducing Overhaul to the League and getting Magne killed (and Compress maimed, but no one cares about him). Toga wasn’t keen on it either, but Tomura somehow won them both over by smiling and making it seem like he had a plan in the works. Whether he actually does is anyone’s guess, but damned if it wasn’t convincing. Anyway, so now Toga and Twice are fed up with the Precepts’ general incompetence, though, and are ready to turn on them. And I’ve never been so excited for a plot twist in my whole damn life.

Today on BnHA: Flashback!Overhaul meets Togawice for the first time and asks them about their quirks. The Precepts then ask if Tomura plans on betraying them, and Twice and Toga are all, “[shifty eyed glance] nope, nothing to see here. no impending betrayals on our end, no sirree.” This apparently is good enough for Overhaul, who asks them to sit tight and wait for further orders. Back in the present, Irinaka makes one last-ditch effort to crush the remaining heroes in his accursed hallway. However, Toga gets him to reveal his true body, and Deku and Aizawa immediately attack. With Aizawa having finally neutralized his quirk, Irinaka is detained. We then cut to Mirio, with time rewinding back to show what happened immediately after he went forward on his own and caught up with Overhaul.

But the real star of this chapter is the omake at the end. Kurogiri takes it upon himself to improve solidarity among the League by taking them all on a mandatory outing to an uninhabited island to engage in a survival trial. Tomura spends the entire time lounging on a couch, Dabi unleashes his inner Bear Grylls, Toga steals a bikini, and tbh I kind of wish we could get an entire manga series of just this. But we’ll just have to settle for these four pages, I guess.

(As always, all comments not marked with an ETA are my unspoiled reactions from my first readthrough of this chapter. I’ve read up through chapter 178, now. If I’d known yesterday’s Superbowl would end up somehow being more boring than this entire arc, I would have never bothered taking the day off. But, well, hindsight.)

some of this goes against what we previously knew about his quirk, though. this is the first time a two-thing limit has been brought up, and that seems to go against the whole Calvin and Hobbes “I made a bunch of clones of myself” thing that we know he did way back when (and which he’s also referencing here, as I assume it’s the reason he no longer makes copies of himself). maybe the limit only applies to things/people that aren’t him?

this reminds me a lot of Momo’s quirk in that he needs to know a lot about the object before duplicating it. which means he’s definitely a lot more intelligent than he sometimes comes off as

I mentioned a couple chapters ago that Toga is extremely intelligent as well, and now I’m wondering if Tomura realizes just how lucky he is to have all these smart crazy people on his side. we’ve seen the quality of Overhaul’s own followers, by contrast, and the League most definitely has them beat

the bit about the transformation time being proportionate to the amount of blood she consumes is extremely interesting and relevant, and now it makes sense why she had that weird gizmo to suck as much blood as possible

I would estimate she got maybe a cup of Ochako’s blood, so we can assume she can transform into her for up to 1 day if needed. but as for Deku, we saw in chapter 114 that she only managed to get like a couple drops worth

one drop is about .05 ml, which is about .0002 cups. so she can transform into Deku for .04% of one day unless I fucked that math up (which is highly possible)

what is that, like a couple seconds?? because if so, holy shit but I’ve been vastly overestimating her ability to wreak mindbendy havoc on our heroes

also does she have to drink the blood right before the transformation for best results? if she drinks someone’s blood but then doesn’t transform into that person right away, does she eventually lose the ability even if she doesn’t transform into them? or can she store that “energy” and use it whenever she likes?

basically this is awesome to be getting so much information here, but now if anything I’ve just got more questions

(ETA: for real. either I really did calculate that wrong, or she got more of Deku’s blood than I thought, or Horikoshi is the one that fucked up the math lol. oh well, it’s easy enough to just shrug and go along with it)

so now Overhaul’s henchman is casually asking if Tomura is planning to betray them. well duh

anyway, Overhaul seems satisfied for the time being, but he’s telling them they’ll have to stay in the underground HQ until they receive their orders from him. so basically house arrest

and now he’s leaving and Mimic is having a total power trip
