someone just told me they don’t comment on fics because they’re afraid their comments will be too long so they just delete them and,,,,

is the stupidest thing i’ve ever heard!!!!

writers want long comments!!!! we want short comments!!! we’ll take any comments!!!

we write out of love for the characters, we would never find it cringy or annoying for you to do the same. if anxiety is stopping you then know you have nothing to be anxious about.

i’ve never once seen a fic author respond to any comment (hate comments not withstanding) with anything less than joy any enthusiasm!
