Summary:

Finally, it’s his turn - he hesitates a moment before he sets his boot down on familiar territory. On the same dock, he realizes, that the Wani had sailed from four years ago. Jee can’t help but let out a breath he hadn’t realized he’d been holding. The seven of them share a long, silent moment amidst the hustle and bustle, before Teruko speaks. Her voice comes out soft and quiet, as if a lifelong prayer has just been answered.

“We’re home.”

After four long, hard years, the crew of the Wani finally comes home - and meets the prince who had led them on a journey of a lifetime, across a glimmering sea.

Hi. Long time no see ( at least when it comes to zines) basically I’d thought I’d share this here even though it’s extremely vulnerable, but I had the idea and adapted I:t to a zine project for a class. Short back story: I was completetely fine and so so happy for the first time in a long time. And then I got sick. Within a week, I went from eating relatively normal to not being able to eat without excruciating pain, and I’m in pain all the time now. I’m learning how to live again, and this zine is about that journey.

If you take the time to read, I hope you enjoy and get something from it.

This project has experienced a number of delays, some that definitely could have been avoided and some entirely out of our controll - we are fully aware though, that that does not excuse the lack of communication and we don't expect anyone to see past it, as we are long past the point where reasons for the delay matter and we can see from our ask box, that we have caused many of you grievances over the status of this zine.

Roughly 10 days ago we send out an e-mail including a google form to re-collect adresses, given the long time it has been since they were first collected, however we have been made aware by several people that their e-mail ended up in spam, so please be sure to check for the form, submitt your address and DM us ASAP if you have not received the mail! The last opportunity for changes will be September 8th, end of day. After this we will begin shipping out, starting with the confirmed adresses and then everyone else.
