Hello everyone! I'm sorry I haven't been more active on here. Still, I thank you for supporting me along the way! 

For the sixth year in the row, I will be running a fundraising campaign for Liberty in North Korea, an organization that works to help people fleeing the North Korean regime safely make it to freedom. So, I’ve set up a Liberty in North Korea (LiNK) fundraising page, the link to which can be found at the bottom of this post and in my blog description.

I’ve always wanted to use this blog for education and to do some tangible good in the world. The last two years, we've raised over $1000, which was absolutely lightyears beyond what I thought this fandom could do! I’m setting the goal this year at $1000, by January 1st. Let’s try and keep the momentum going!

I know people can be strapped for cash this time of year, so don’t feel bad if you can’t donate! You can still reblog this post to help more people see it!

Hey there. Dear person on the other side of the screen, who I hope is going to read this from beginning to end.

I really hope you stop for a moment and don't skip, because I've got something to say to you.

Did you know that fundraising and engagement with Palestinian fundraisers has drastically dropped off after some recent smear campaigns, where a bunch of people who weren't going to help anyway decided to start labeling them all as "Belgian scam rings" or "Russian bots"?

Did you also know that there are, in fact, actual Palestinian children not meeting their nutritional requirements?

Well, guess what...? One of those kids is 18-month-old Karam, and no thanks to these smear tactics, the GFM fundraising for his mom and dad, @rajaagaza and @khaled-gaza, has now dropped off at $13,377 CAD.

They need to raise $16,000 CAD in the next three days, and this ACTUAL FAMILY who has been vetted by 90-ghost is still a few thousand short.

So, until Saturday morning rolls around, I really hope you all remember one thing--this is an actual family, with actual needs of assistance for evacuation money and funds for basic human things like food.

Help Hazem and his Family!

Hazem (@hazem1999 @hazempalestine ) keeps getting shadowbanned and his account @hazem1999sblog has been deleted. This is disgusting behaviour from Tumblr but it's also really concerning as his online presence is vital for his family's survival.

Hazem is fundraising for his family to be able to safely evacuate from the genocide, he has been separated from them for several years. Hazem's parents and four siblings are living in the Jabalia Refugee Camp and desperately need to evacuate.

Hazem's campaign has only raised €1,075/50,000 goal. Raising this money is so important for his family to be able to afford the costs of basic necessities with living through this genocide and also with the evacuation costs.

Hazem's campaign technically hasn't been vetted yet, his accounts being banned doesn't help and means his campaign isn't as visible to the hard-working vetters out there and people in a position to donate. He has been personally vouched for by @bilal-salah0 who has been vetted.

Every donation matters, no matter how small! Hazem is stressed about his studies and his family's survival and wellbeing. He shouldn't be worried about all of this and also about his accounts getting banned and needing to make new ones. Nobody deserves this, Hazem's family deserve more, please help however you can whether it's by donating or sharing and please follow his account and campaign!

10 Months of the Gaza War

10 months of genocide, starvation, destruction, and instability. There are no schools, no healthcare, no hospitals for treatment, and none of the basic necessities of life. We are extremely exhausted.

Every day we witness massacres that have drained our bodies, and we have lost a lot of weight. We live in constant fear, not knowing what will happen tomorrow. Our lives are filled with terror and uncertainty.

I am Omar, 20 years old, a university student. I ask you and everyone who can help me to assist me in achieving my dream of continuing my education because I love knowledge, studying, and the university. I am a very distinguished student and have been out of school for 10 months. The occupation destroyed my university and shattered all my dreams. I am very sad and frustrated because I have been deprived of education. They have prevented me from achieving my dreams and my life.. 😭

Please don't forget me in your prayers and supplications to help me get out of this genocide. I am very scared because of the massacres happening. I fear for my life, and they have no humanity to stop this war against us. We are being exterminated every day, and we are in desperate need of your support and prayers.

YESTERDAY WAS A NIGHTMARE! My sister and her kids lived through Nuseirat Massacre They lived through this yesterday !

We lost contact with her all day but thankfully we contacted her today

My sister and her husband ,carrying sick Karma (3months old) and her 3 year old Ghaith had to run from their tent to Deir ElBalah around 5 Km on their feet with panicked people running and pushing each other

Just thinking they had to go through this again and again breaks my heart !!

I am Mohamed from northern Gaza. Today, I am speaking to you feeling lifeless and devoid of passion, with no life or hope left inside me for the future. I am deeply frustrated due to the circumstances my family and I are going through; our situation in the tents is tragic, with no essentials for living.

I am extremely disheartened, with no source of income for me or my father. We are very exhausted, and the situation has dragged on for too long. We have been in a state of continuous war for nine months. I have lost all hope in life.
