I was looking at my old drafts and found this:
I’m a huge advocate- HUGE!!! - for Bisexual Steve & Nancy
But I think it would be funny a what if where Steve is gay and Nancy is lesbian and they pretend to date to keep each other’s secret
And then they try to set each other up with their respective crushes -Eddie and Robin obv - who are at first annoyed “yeah yeah your partner is the best, I get it”, then very confused like “why it looks like you setting me up with your boyfriend/girlfriend?”
Honestly, it's funny LMAO
Imagine Nancy coming to Steve after they had a talk with them and being like "so what did Robin say??"
"She told me to stop rubbing my perfect relationship in her face. How did it go with Eddie?"
"..."
"That bad?"
"He asked me when is our wedding."

Hi! For a ronance prompt, I was thinking something soft, perhaps featuring either cook/baker!Robin or musician!Robin ('cause I'm a sucker for those and you always nail it with your writing 🫶🏽😍).
Paris, France
[January, 1987]
The bell above the door clings a soft sound and Nancy is welcomed by the warmth and sweetness of the bakery's air. It smells like dough and melted tomatoes, feels as a soft embrace after the chill of French winter. Nancy pats the snowflakes off of her jacket, watching them melt into nothing down to the doormat.
"Hey!" Robin's smile shines bright in the brown colors of the bakery. She doesn't move to stand from behind the counter but her hands instinctively start to close the book so her attention can stay on the girl in front of her.
"Hey", Nancy's voice is a breath. A tickle of warmth runs through her cold hands. "Smells good in here".
Robin's smile becomes a grin. She playfully wiggles back and forth, balanced on the back legs of her wooden chair. "Kiss the chef?"
Nancy chuckles. "Oh, has your dad come over?"
"Fuck off!"
And the thing is... Nancy will never get over of the taste of Robin's laugh against her lips. The kiss is messed up; cold and uncoordinated and more of a chuckle than a peck and a brushing tongue.
"What is it?" Nancy asks when she leans away and presses a hip to the counter. Unwraps the scarf from around her neck, sighing at the cool touch of interior air.
"I..." - Robin pats the book on the counter and stands up - "...call it Mediterranean Pie".
"Oh, do you?"
"It has olives, onion, tomatoes and green peppers". Robin's voice comes muffled from behind the oven. "Plus cheese and oregano". She appears again, even more beautiful with her fluched cheeks as if the oven blew hot air right to them. Nancy feels a smile appear on her face. "Cooked with that fucking awesome virgin olive oil we bought they other day".
Nancy takes the bite from Robin's fingers, instantly moaning a soft sound at the rich taste. It's good. It's so fucking good she reaches for the plate from Robin's hand to hold it close and have absolut control over staffing her own face with the little corner piece of freshly cooked food.
When Nancy comes back to it, Robin is looking at her with raised eyebrows and a blissful look in the ocean blue eyes.
"Shut up".
"I didn't say anything".
"You have a comment right there -"
"I'd never dream of interrupting -"
"Listen -"
"I mean if you need a minute alone with the pie I can go, you know, it's not trouble -"
"Shut up!" Nancy rolls her eyes but laughs, taking her plate to the back sink. The steaming tray on the counter looks even better than the bite she's just had and - once again - it takes effort to not beg Robin to pack some for home.
As the first drops of water fall on her hands and plate, two long arms come and wrap around her from behind. The air is now sweet perfume, the scent of bread and Robin's being completely wraps around her. Nancy closes her eyes, still getting used to the domestic touch.
Her girlfriend's soft breath brushes the shell of her ear, making her lightly shudder. Robin rasps, "I made a smaller tray to take upstairs".
Nancy kisses her but - once again - it ends up being more of a shared laugh.

'to the market'
(hello again, this is from another prompt requested by @fishwear ! i challenged myself to do all three prompts, so here's another! sorry it took so long heh, but i hope you enjoy, and thanks again for the prompt!)
32. markets x ronance - they go antiquing. nancy is obsessed with trying to hunt down valuables. she’s got her little antique pocket guide in her hands furiously checking stamps on china sets. meanwhile robin is having the time of her life to track down the ugliest, kitsch trinket in the whole store so she can annoy (amuse) nancy by displaying it proudly in their living room.
Robin was not a stranger to the many multitudes of Nancy Wheeler. After everything, nothing really surprised her about Nancy. Priss and a massive nerd. Badass and made Robin get rid of the spiders. Gorgeous and a gunslinger.
Serious Antiquing Nancy Wheeler, though, was something Robin can safely say she never expected.
Though it was quickly becoming her favorite.
It was adorable, the way Nancy was so passionate about it. And Robin had to admit, it was kind of fun.
(Mostly because Robin enjoys finding the most radioactive item in the antique store, keeping her own record of whatever she finds—Nancy refuses to let her bring it home—but that’s not the important part.)
What is important, is that Robin can say without a doubt, that antique malls were Nancy Wheeler’s favorite place in the world.
And specifically, the antique mall that was closest to their apartment. They’d been all over Boston, but nothing came close to this one. It was enormous, and Robin often found it hard to keep up with Nancy, who always had an open edition of Picker’s Pocket Guide and meticulously searched through every antique tea cup she could find. Robin’s job was usually to either hold Nancy’s guidebook, or use the black-light flashlight to search for radioactivity.
Which is the case for today. Nancy’s got her eye on another antique tea set, one that she’s been hunting for months now, bound and determined to find the damn things if it’s the last thing she does.
The stalls have changed since the last time they’d been there, new antiques (which is Robin’s favorite oxymoron now) from countless vendors all trying to get rid of all their old junk. Everything from dolls (creepy with a capital C) to paintings, old comics, and small clocks that Robin knows without a doubt have radium painted on the dial.
She is thankful, too, that it’s at least warm inside. The cold in Boston decided to have an extra bite to it today, and Robin maintains that they should’ve stopped for hot cocoa.
Nancy’s got her guidebook opened to the page she needs, hair tied up in a messy bun, bag thrown over her shoulder, and, most surprisingly, her glasses perched on her nose. It’s adorable. Nancy’s face scrunches up in thought, tongue darting out as she frantically writes something down in her book. She looks like a librarian, turtleneck under her lavender Emerson sweater and long skirt with pockets (Nancy’s favorite). She’s even tied her hair up with a matching lavender scrunchie.
Believe it or not, this is Nancy’s most casual look. She rarely wears her glasses out, but desperate times and all.
(It’s Robin’s favorite look. She only ever sees her this relaxed at home, and Robin’s mentally kicking herself for not bringing her Polaroid to get a picture of Nancy like this, in her element. Maybe some other time.)
“So,” Robin says, walking a half step behind Nancy to the first stall, “what teacup are we looking for? Is it even a teacup? Or is it another saucer?”
Nancy rolls her eyes as they find the wall of fine china. She searches for something in her tote, pushing her glasses up as they slide down her nose. “It’s a teacup this time, Robbie, I promise.” Nancy fishes a pen out of her bag, and then hands the book and pen to Robin with a small smile. “Hold this while I check the stamps on these? Please?”
And well, Robin can’t tell her ‘no’ when she’s got that spark in her eyes and that small, almost shy, smile.
Robin hums, tapping Nancy’s pen against her chin. “Well, I guess… since you asked so nicely.”
Nancy’s grin widens, stepping closer to give Robin a quick peck on her cheek. “Thank you,” she singsongs.
Robins rolls her eyes fondly as her face reddens. “Yeah, yeah. Anything for you, Nance.”
***
She should’ve expected that they’d be here all day. After all, Nancy was on a mission, and if it’s one thing Robin’s learned about being with Nancy, once she’s on a mission, she’s practically unstoppable.
Nancy had, after about an hour, released Robin to look at whatever she wanted, while Nancy continued to look at near-identical teacups. Though, Robin would’ve gladly stood there for another hour or two while Nancy searched for this mysterious cup.
Robin strolls down the stretch of stalls that are behind glass. Glassware, all with a faint greenish tint. Bingo.
Robin grabs the black-light from her jacket pocket, flicking it on and pointing it to the various bowls and vases, beaming the moment the stall lights up like a Christmas tree.
She steps closer, face close to the glass, but not too close. All this uranium glass in one spot is enough to create a hotspot.
One item in particular glows brighter than the others; a small bedside clock, shining a specific shade of radium green and for a moment, she really wishes Dustin were here with his Geiger counter, just to see how radioactive it is.
If Robin had to guess, the answer would be: extremely, given how bright the green is compared to the others.
She takes a cautious step back, away from the radioactive hotspot, taking out her own small notebook and jotting down the antique clock in her version of Nancy’s pocket guide and writes: Clock, Westclox, Big Ben. Radium. January 1989. Extremely radioactive.
Putting her notebook, pencil, and flashlight back into her pocket, Robin continues her stroll around the giant antique mall.
And then she spots it.
Like a cartoon, the clouds disappear just enough; the sun shining down on it, revealing itself in a holy light.
A stuffed opossum, wearing tiny sunglasses, holding a guitar in his tiny opossum paws.
Robin strides over to it and snatches it up, racing back to Nancy.
Nancy bumps into her halfway, eyebrows raised at Robin’s excited demeanor.
“Oh, hey Nance,” Robin says, a little out of breath, “didn’t see you there.” She shifts from foot to foot unconsciously, holding the stuffed opossum behind her back.
Nancy folds her arms over her chest, eyes narrowing. “What do you have?”
Robin smiles. Nancy does not. Robin shows her the taxidermied opossum. “Nance, we have to take him home.”
“Absolutely not,” Nancy says, making a face. “Where would we even put him? The living room? The bedroom? I’m not sleeping in the same room as that.” She points at it, face twisted in disgust.
Robin pouts, if only a little, to make a point. “Please, Nance?” She begs, watching Nancy’s resolve crack, if only for a second. “I’ve already named him. Plus, I know the perfect spot for him! You won’t have to worry about him in our room, pinkie swear.”
Nancy’s face softens, another crack in her resolve, and Robin knows she’s won. Nancy huffs, pinching her the bridge of her nose. “Fine. But only if you help me look for this stupid cup again.”
“Deal,” Robin beams, “thank you, Nance,” she mimics Nancy’s singsong voice from earlier. She leans down, planting a kiss to Nancy’s cheek, reveling in the way pink dusts across her cheekbones.
“Yeah, yeah,” Nancy mutters, taking Robin’s free hand and intertwining it with her own. “Anything for you, Rob.”
***
“It’s perfect!”
“It’s hideous.”
Robin gasps, “He is not! He’s charming. He brings the room together!”
“I still can’t believe I let you bring that thing into our apartment.” Nancy wrinkles her nose, leaning further into Robin as they sit on the couch, sipping hot cocoa and taking in the marvel that is the guitar playing opossum in their living room.
“Believe it, babe. Besides, if not for me and Franklin here, you wouldn’t have found your precious cup.” Robin nods to the teacup, now preciously displayed on one of Nancy’s shelves, and crosses her arms, grinning smugly at Nancy,
Nancy rolls her eyes, lightly swatting Robin’s chest. “Shut up, Buckley.”
“Make me, Wheeler,” she teases, poking at Nancy’s shoulder. “I’d do it again, though. Help you get your special cups, it’s just so cute. I’ve seen you run a gaggle of newspaper nerds before, but I don’t know Nance, I think you could make it as a professional antique collector.” Robin pauses, considering, “Is that even a real thing? It could be. You could be the first.”
Nancy giggles into her cocoa. “I’m glad you say that, actually, Robbie, because there’s this one teacup that would match this one really well and I think—”
Robin groans, unable to think about fine china any more than she already has, but she meant what she said. She’d do it again. Just to see that brilliant look on Nancy’s face.

ronance prompts!!!
secret admirer/modern au
picking wildflowers together in the woods <3
coffeeshop au
(also i really love all of your ronance fics they are amazing gorgeous show-stopping heartwarming--)
so!! i went for the coffee shop au! but i'm definitely keeping the other ones in mind 👀 thank you so much!
Robin wouldn’t say she was the worst barista ever. There had to be people out there that deliberately made clients’ days worse, committed crimes at work, or simply had a worse rate of incidents at work than Robin Buckley in Hawkins, Indiana. Steve wouldn't agree though.
“Robin, you are the worst barista ever,” he said to her for possibly the tenth time, that week.
“I know,” Robin sighed gravely, running her hands through her face desperately. “I know, and it’s totally my fault, even though I could probably blame my parent’s genes because I swear this lack of coordination and ability to balance extremely hot beverages filled to the brim in very fragile cups is not something I purposefully planned, you know? But hey, hey Steve, no one is bleeding this time!”
“That’s not supposed to be encouraging!” Steve complained from his place on the floor picking up the shards of the latest broken cup because he absolutely did not trust Robin to do it by herself and keep all her fingers in the process. “You’re lucky I take the blame for half of these incidents and that Joyce likes you. Honestly, Robin, why do you even want so desperately to keep this job?”
Unbeknownst to Steve, the reason for Robin’s attachment to her surprisingly dangerous job had just walked in through the door.
“Good morning, welcome to Hawkins coffee, the coffee shop with the most original name in town which I actually love because one half of the owners is a sweetheart and I don’t want to lose my job by shit-talking the name of the totally wonderful establishment! What can I get for you other than this ridiculously unnecessary amount of… words,” Robin said under an impressively short time span.
On the other side of the counter stood Nancy Wheeler, just like clockwork every morning, this time wearing the prettiest smile Robin had ever seen, and she looked amused, hopefully in a fond way instead of irritated about Robin’s rant. “Good morning,” Nancy said softly, as she always did, and then ordered her usual, which Robin had memorized after the first day.
Robin could have asked “just the usual?” as she’d practiced in front of the mirror before, or simply have Nancy’s order ready for her, but that would steal her the pleasure of hearing Nancy say the actual words, and considering that was usually as long as their conversations were, Robin wanted to treasure every second and every word.
After Nancy’s ordered her coffee, Robin turned around quickly to get to work on the one coffee order she could make with her eyes closed, if a miracle happened, well, the one coffee order she was genuinely capable of preparing safely and accurately, which was an accomplishment in her case. In her haste, she nearly fell on top of Steve, and the remaining pieces of glass.
“Robin! Careful!” Steve yelled.
“Move over, dingus!” Robin retorted.
“You could get hurt!”
“It would be worth it!” Robin insisted through gritted teeth, and finally got to make the one coffee she was good at. One thing she didn’t prepare for was the fact that Steve’s worried yell might have reached Nancy’s ears.
So, when Robin passed Nancy her coffee and, as it often happened, their fingers brushed in a way that would keep Robin daydreaming about it for exactly twenty-four hours more, Nancy smiled at her again and, completely changing the course of Robin’s life, she said for the first time, “Thank you, Robin.”

Ronance writing prompt
Hold me tight before you go:
Caught a vibe (woo, woo) Baby, are you coming for the ride? (The ride, the ride, the ride) I just wanna look into your eyes (your eyes, your eyes) I just wanna stay for the night, night, night When we take a drive
Tumblr media
Robin and Nancy had been dating for a while, their feelings grew stronger and stronger with every second. Robin fancied Nancy from the moment she had laid eyes on her.
Her heart ached her for every second they were not together, Nancy had grown distant over the past weeks. Robin holed herself in her room, listening to the same songs on repeat wondered what she had done wrong.
Nancy's mind was preoccupied with completing the school newspaper, spending every night under the light as the school closed up around her. She thought of Robin from time to time, still confused on where she stood with the idea of liking a girl. Particularly a girl like Robin.
After finally printing the paper, Nancy walked out of school that night just as the rain began to pour. Lifting her head to see Robin standing by her car, her face looked sad and puffy as they made eye contact.
''Will you come home with me tonight?'' she asked, her voice breaking as she watched Nancy unlock her car.
Feeling her scent close to her face, tears began to fall. Nancy pressed her head against the car and sighed a deep sigh, her eyes were filled with tears as she looked at her.
Her heart needed her, she missed her. Her mind wanted her to flee, the feelings of being unsure about a relationship always made her flee but as her eyes stared deeper into Robin's.
She turned her body towards Robin, her hands were instantly clasping her face and she kissed her passionately as the rain got heavier and heavier around them. Their hair getting soaked as Nancy's grip tightened around her cheeks, melting into the kiss.
Parting, she rested her forehead on Robins head and stared into her eyes. Her hands still resting on her cheeks.
''Get in, lets go for a drive. I need to see you'' Nancy sighed, kissing her once more. Her feelings still felt the same.
The only thing she knew was that Robin would be the thing to heal her, she couldn't break both of their hearts any longer. She needed to be with her even if it scared her.

[rubs hands together eagerly] I have a prompt for you. You know that two-day time skip in s4 ep9? When they're finally crashing at the Wheelers' in the early hours of the morning after dragging themselves out of hell, Robin and Nancy are in Nancy's room, they've changed, Robin's gotten a change of clothes for the night in the basement, and they've run out of things to say, except Nancy's trying to figure out how to ask Robin "stay with me" without saying "stay with me".
This was such a fun prompt to write!!! Thank you so much!!!! I had like fifteen different ideas for this so if you want more, just ask. But I ended up just writing two.
How Do I Ask You to Stay? (803 words)
Stay With Me (1317 words)
I hope this was kind of what you were asking for but otherwise just let me know and I'll keep writing because this was fun.
You can always send me prompts here.

Character B has a massive crush on Character A. They kick themself for it, since they're only friends— close friends— and there's no way Character A would ever be okay with it.
Except Character A already knows. In fact, they thought it was obvious. Just something they never spoke of. Maybe bc A was waiting for B to be ready to say it.
One day someone flirts with B, making then uncomfortable, and A is immediately on the offense. They tell them to back off. Because B already has feelings for someone.
B stumbles through a thank you, but saying they didn't have to, or didn't have to lie to them. Leading A to say something like "I think they deserve to know your heart belongs to me if they're going to be hitting on you like that," or something of the sort.

Try your hand at an angsty one of them thought the other was dead moment but SURPRISE BITCH BET YOU THOUGHT YOU’D SEEN THE LAST OF ME
..., ...
[Time]
The demo-bats screech in unity just as Dustin crackles a quiet; "Phase Three", and the first rough notes coming from Eddie's guitar echo through the walkie-talkie, the dead air.
As they swarm across the sky, Nancy ducks lower in instinct, hoping the chilly darkness hides them. Everything feels too loud; her own rough breaths in her throat, Steve's stiff hums of pain, Robin's quiet gulps. Everything feels too quiet; a stillness, a creeping shadow clouding the sky, the flash of lightning that is never followed by thunder.
The demo-bats dissappear just as a cloud passes by the bleeding moon and lets some light shine through.
Vecna already has a hold on Max.
Nancy shivers, breathes out. "Let's go?"
"Lead ahead", Steve groans as he shifts on a knee, fixing the strap of his bag, passing the axe from one hand to the other.
The Creel House raises like a tomb. Haunted and hungry for someone to walk in, get lost in its hallways. The door creaks open, almost like the wheezing air in Nancy's aching lungs.
"Shit".
The vines are crawling across the floor, the walls and the ceilings. Moving as if snakes, as if limps of a whole. They rest, for now. They wait, to be disturbed. They expect, to be called to act.
Steve goes first, looking taller and boarder. His thick clothes hide the bleeding wounds on his sides but they can do nothing of the dark bags under his eyes. And yet, even wounded and tired, he moves and jumps and hops over the maze of vines on the floor.
Nancy goes to take in a sigh of the floating white particles that burn as they're breathed in, when a brush of warmth against her hand shocks her breathless.
Robin is looking at her with tensed muscles, fearful eyes. Their blue is lighter than any other color in this world. Her hand is warm, so warm that reminds Nancy of summer, of light, of life. Her heart starts thudding in her goddamn throat and it feels like a second, a minute, an hour, a day has passed, of them simply standing in the doorstep of a haunted house.
"It's okay. You got this", Nancy whispers to her, watching her blue eyes move back and forth over her own gaze. Her fingers curl around the girl’s hand, aching to keep contact.
Robin nods, gulps one last time, and Nancy aims for the touch to linger until Robin's arm starts to hang back and she needs to break the comforting touch. The warmth stays, as a phantom, for Nancy to feel.
Steve is by the foot of the stairs now, an arm extended to the side for balance. Robin is brushing over the vines with motions that remind Nancy of a marionette controlled by strings. The coldness of the Upside-Down crawls into her gut; pooling fear, freezing.
She cannot shake the feeling they're being led into the house's attic.
Gripping the strap of the shotgun, she follows.
Her boots thud with each hop, eyes downcast and searching for spaces of wood to step in. The holes open and close depending on the pulsing vines. Steve has climbed half of the staircase. Robin stands on the second step.
The quiet thickens as they shadow up the creaking stairs. One floor up, the dark empty hole of Alice's bedroom makes them shiver. Steve stares at the black air and rubs over the angry red rings marking his wrist. Robin presses her forehead on his shoulder, catching her breath and helping him relax.
Nancy looks toward the attic's door leaning open. Vecna stands there, up another row of stairs, hunting, focusing on Max, hanging defenseless. His memories play in Nancy's head like flashes of horror; his promise for the future of Hawkins takes shape in the dead world spreading around them.
"Let's go", she whispers and anger slowly warms the fear away from her gut.
The stairs are clear from vines, the wood stays blissfully silent when they climb up. The attic is dark, the world's blue light and the red moon mapping the shadows just enough for them to see the space they're standing in. The shotgun feels cold in her hands and Nancy has a flash of Robin's fingers softly curling around her wrist.
Her heart beats the cold away. She can see him stand in the middle of the room, alone.
Vecna stands with his eyes closed, head tilted back. Steve and Robin fall into step next to her, Molotov cocktails and lighters in hands. Nancy doesn't feel they need them - not when he is standing like an open target for a handful of bullets - not when...
His foggy eyes are wide open and drowning into her gaze. The shock of the eye contact bursts the confidence to ash.
"No", he simply says and the shotgun is ripped right out of Nancy's hands and thrown to the side as if a magnet pulled it off.
"Guys! Now, now!"
A lighter sparks and the cloth catches fire, the bottle is raised and instead of a powerful throw, the air hisses, Robin screams in fear and the weapon clutters right out of Steve's hand.
Nancy freezes as she watches Robin slam against the floor, the vines snapping round her like attacking snakes. She freezes as she hears Robin's breath violently hitching, followed by a chocked sound Nancy will never forget.
"Stop!" Steve is swinging the axe down, cutting through vines, finding others in the place he just cleared. "STOP!"
"No", Vecna has not taken his eyes off of Nancy and the sight of him shakes her to an angry animal that attacks -
She cannot move. Henry's hand is raised lightly, toward her, power squeezes through and around Nancy, keeping her still. His hand turns and - with it - Nancy is forced to face Steve trying to free Robin from -
Robin's wide eyes are turning red, wet. They're bulging, vines squeezing around her throat. Steve falls to his knees, screaming and tries to lose them from around her throat, failing, failing.
"No", Nancy whimpers, feels her chest breaking open because no no no no no -
"So many friends dying because of you, Nancy, and you haven't watched them do so. Watch this".
"Robin!" Steve is screaming, tearing his fingers open as the vines clench harder.
Robin is gaping, unable to breathe in, and Nancy can spot a bruising hue start to overtake her face. Her heart breaks and she screams with Steve, trying to get to her, she can't, she can't. The shout brings out tears, brings a rough sob.
"Stop this, stop. Stop, please! Just stop!"
He smirks; a human smirk in the face of a creature no longer human. This is the torture he had always wanted; this is how he wants to conquer.
"Rob. Rob, hey, hey, look at me. Yeah? Yeah, I know, I know, I know -"
Nancy cries, pain snapping through her as muscles try and stain to break free from the invisible strains. Despite the cold, sweat drips over her face. She needs to be next to her. She needs to get to Robin before - before -
Her knees scrape open as she falls forwards, suddenly released. Her wrists stain from the rest of her body landing on them, barely holding on from landing face first on the rotting floor.
Nancy barely stops to steady herself, half limping and half crawling to Robin. Steve is pulling fistfulls of vines off of her, covered in slime and ink. She gets there just as Robin takes in a cracked breath and starts to cough.
"Fuck", Nancy buries her face in Robin's hair, shielding her away from Henry. "Fuck, I'm so sorry". The coughs are so violent, Robin retches around gaping for air. Bloodshot blue eyes snap back and forth over the attic, finding Steve when he comes to kneel in a pile of shred vines. Her shaky hand weakly wraps around the sleeve of he jacket and he comes to drop his forehead on Robin's own and inches away from Nancy's face.
His hair has a faint scent of shampoo.
Nancy chokes over a sob, feeling rough hands come to hold onto her too and -
A scream of pain comes from behind them; Henry is hovering off the ground, limps spred open and his mouth letting out the most manic shout of; "Eleven!"
They jump, all three of them, when he bursts. Into ash. Into particles. Into a shred shadow.
"Fuck", Nancy hears herself repeat. "Fuck, fuck". She snaps her attention down to Robin trying and failing to breathe evenly. Her face is losing color. Her eyes are closed. Her lips have started to bruise.
"We need..." - Steve is silently crying - "...Steve, we need to focus, hey, we need to get her to the hospital. How're your sides, can you carry her?"
"Yeah", he wipes his face and reaches down. Robin doesn't respond to the change of the embrace, but she keeps breathing. "For a bit".
"We will figure it out but, but come on. We need to go now -"
The crackling of the radio comes into focus and Nancy feels cold all over again. Dustin is crying on the other end - a little kid's scared whimpers - calling for the three of them; "Come back, come back and help us. Steve. Steve, if Eddie stops playing, we will be eaten fucking alive. Steve, do you copy? We need help now!"
Steve grows three times the size at the sound of his begging. Nancy watches him scoop up Robin and meets his eyes, feeling something click. She gets up and grabs the walkie-talkie, the axe, the lighter and the Molotov cocktail. Calls back to Dustin to tell him they are coming, swings the damn blade through the vines to clear a path on the floor, pouring gasoline on the trail created.
By the time they reach the door, Nancy is breathing heavy, Steve breathing easy and Robin is breathing in cracked puffs of inhales. By the time they reach the door, Robin's lips have gone darker and bruises have already start to mark around her neck and bare arms. By the time the reach the woods, Eddie's guitar misses a few bits.

Coffee shop AU where Nancy keeps getting love letters written on napkins and can’t figure out who it is. She thinks it’s maybe Jonathan because he’s artsy and probably good with his words, or Steve who’s getting Eddie to write them but neither really make sense. Robin helps her try and sleuth out the admirer but they keep hitting dead ends because Robin is deliberately sabotaging the hunt. She doesn’t want Nancy to figure out she’s the one writing the letters because she’s much better at talking on paper and doesn’t want to ruin the friendship they’ve just barely started

face it, tiger.
(or, a spider-robin story - a spin on the "upside down" ronancetober prompt)
“No, I mean who are you. Under the mask.” Robin perches on the ledge of the balcony of Nancy’s apartment, putting a good distance between them. “That’s for me to know, and for you to never find out.” Nancy’s frown deepens into a scowl. Sirens sound in the distance—perfect timing. “Well,” Robin stands. “That’s my cue. See ya around, princess.” It rolls off her tongue with ease now, and she figures that she might as well double down. She gives Nancy a two fingered salute, before swinging from the balcony and towards the sirens. “This isn’t over!” yells Nancy. Robin smiles to herself. This is going to be fun.
