Because RPG Maker VX Ace resources keep getting harder to find, I'm posting my personal character templates publicly so that other people can download them.

One of the earliest sprites of Ryuuta, the main character of Chronicles IV and the first character designed as part of my series. Back in my childhood he was known as "Super [Deadname]", then "Duper [Deadname]", then "[Deadname] the Ninja", then "Zinja", then "Karos" and then finally "Ryuuta" who's first incarnation developed somewhere around 2014/2015. Since all my previous childhood stories are technically canon to the Chronicles lore, I had to recon their names so that I don't have to use my deadname and to reduce confusion.

"Super [Deadname]" was from the original universe, now known as Circlia, and is now known as "King Zum". This version lasted from 2007 to 2008.

The second Ryuuta was from the second universe, now named "Neo", after the first major reboot and is now known as "Duper Zex." (first name Duper, last name Zex) This version of Ryuuta lasted the longest besides the current incarnation, lasting from 2008 to 2010 and then again from 2011 all the way to 2016.

The third Ryuuta was from the third universe, now named Galaxio, who's story was supposted to be told in a book series where only the first book/prologue was ever written. In modern times I took what story was already there (blatant Star Wars ripoff), rewrote it, and massively expanded it into a full sci-fi story about crystals, souls, existentialism, and the nature of life itself. This version of Ryuuta was renamed to "Zin" who would be later known as "Ji". This incarnation was very short lived only lasting for a single story in 2011. This character's story will be the first to be remade and fully told in the modern day with my game "Spirit Roamer."

The forth Ryuuta was the first incarnation who's story was told in a game, my first ever RPG Maker game "The Legend of Light". This incarnation lasted from 2015 to 2016. Originally called Karos in the first half of the game and then called Ryuuta in the second half, this forth incarnation of Ryuuta was renamed in the lore to be named "Karuta" and be a separate character lore-wise from both Koros and Ryuuta from the current universe.

The fifth Ryuuta was from the "Zero Gear Duology" featuring Zero Gear Fighters and it's sequel Dragon Ascension, both which have been publicly released (unlike LoL) and will be downloadable as soon as rpgmaker.net goes back up. This Ryuuta was the first to be ACTUALLY NAMED RYUUTA throughout the entire game, but in the lore was renamed to Ryuka to avoid confusion and to become a separate character from Ryuuta's current incarnation.

The sixth Ryuuta was from a cancelled game that I made known as either "Stardust Saga" or "Draco Anima Origins" depending on what engine it was made with. Now that game is known as Lost Anima and the protagonist is named Setana, later known as legendary hero Cu Cuchulainn. Setana was originally called Ryuuta in the lost SS/DAO builds, so he is technically yet another Ryuuta incarnation.

The 7th and final Ryuuta incarnation is the one you see here, albeit in an early design stage before a lot of his primary characteristics were firmly established. The current Ryuuta is the protagonist of Chronicles IV: The Last Dragon's Elegy and also one of the most important characters lore wise to the entire Chronicles cosmology. More on him when we get to the final, finished design.

☆ RPG Tsukūru Dante 98 was the first of ACII's RPG Maker series, released December 17, 1992 for PC-98. The program contained pre-made characters, tilesets, events and music. To encourage use of the system, Enterbrain hosted a monthly contest between 1997 and 2002 called インターネットコンテストパーク (Internet Contest Park), or "Conpark" for short. Games, music, art and a variety of editing programs were entered into the competition to showcase young developers skills. By far the most popular title made on the system was a horror classic known as Corpse Party, which won the 5th Annual Enterbrain Game Contest in 1996.

Summary: Saints & Sinners is a 21+ original character / mafia / human / mumu discord group that is based in New York City. This group is not all light and fluffy there are dark and mature themes, blood and death.

Updated my resources page

Cleaned up all the broken links, and organized everything to make sifting through it easier. I did my best to make sure everything in there is free to download, though some resources require payment to be used commercially. Resources on the page include:

-Graphics

Only has three options in here so far, will be looking for tilesets to include in this.

-Audio

A mix of music and sound effects. Some of the listings will look familiar to those that have played or watched a lot of RPG horror games.

-Scripts-

Links to the RPGMakerWeb pages on script tips and tricks, including the script call list. Sometimes instead of a full script, you only need a script call. Also links to the rpgmaker vxace script archive for lost scripts.

-Free RPG Maker adjacent programs

As it sounds. If you don't have the money for RPG Maker on sale, you can give these a try. Some of them are more advanced than RPG Maker (Wolf editor, notably), so pay special mind to read some of the documentation for each respective engine.

-Misc resources

Basically anything else that didn't fit neatly in the above categories. Links to Uboa's resource list, tutorial pages, mp3 to ogg converters, and art tutorial and reference blogs for those making their own art.

Graphics Resource: Grandma Debs Little Bits

Grandma Debs Little Bits is a great graphics resource! It's typically written in English, with some posts in Japanese and other languages.

This website is geared towards RPG Maker VX/Ace, but there's also RPG Maker XP resources on it. (Also, I've used a lot of the VX Ace resources for XP, you just have to own both.)

GM Resources

Here are my favourite websites that help me prepare and run TTRPG sessions (I mainly play D&D 5e but many of these will also work for other games). All of these are either completely free or have a free base version.

2-Minute-Tabletop: Lots of free tokens, maps and more! Also contains some content you have to pay for, but the free selection is usually enough for me. Very useful, especially if you're running online games. You can even customise the tokens' colours.

Lost Atlas: A huge selection of free maps, with filters to help you find exactly what you're looking for.

Falindrith's D&D Monster Maker: Create custom D&D monster statblocks. Lots of customisation options, from spellcasting to legendary actions. Very useful if you want to create a unique BBEG, but too complex to use for minions imo.

Fantasy Name Generators: You've probably heard of this one before, but it's incredibly useful. Whether you need to quickly come up with some NPC names, figure out what that town is called, or invent an extra riddle because your players solved the puzzle way too quickly, you'll find what you need here. It's very versatile and even has specific name generators for some RPGs!

Azgaar's Fantasy Map Generator: This is my favourite world map tool. You can generate a random map and then customize it until it fits for your campaign. You can let it generate country and town names for you or come up with your own.

Dungeon Scrawl: Create your own digital battle maps. Base version is free, but you can pay for a premium version if you want more features. Not as quick as simply downloading an existing map, but you will be able to create exactly the kind of map you want.

I Loot The Body: Great if you need to quickly generate loot, treasure, or NPCs (I mainly use it for the latter). Compatible with D&D 5e and Pathfinder 2e.

Nuudel: Wonderful tool for planning the date and time of your next session. Easy to use and it works very well. If you make a poll with it, make sure to select "All voters can modify any vote", otherwise it can lead to problems if people want to edit their own answer. The website is German but you can switch to a different language in the drop-down menu in the top right corner.
