Ok ok SO I just watched Under The Red Hood and was reminded how much I completely love that movie. Seriously if you haven’t watched it: run don’t walk.

Anyway, I was feeling productive today and one of my favorite things ever is to make gut wrenching edits (don’t be mean my ego is fragile). I’m so lazy most of the time but this was so fun. Like honestly I need more ideas, please I’ll even make edits for fics😭

Curse, curse, curse-! She had to find some way to remove this curse from him. Though she was strong, she was only as strong as the darkness made her. She felt much the same as she had when she been with Wiseman, but neither could she put it past Nehelania to not make her as powerful as she had once been. After all, Nehelania prided herself on being called the rightful queen of the moon. It would be just like her to keep righteous power away from someone like her who was once both a sailor guardian and an heir to the white moon's throne. The queen of the dead moon was vain like that. There's a nagging somewhere in the back of her mind and she cannot help but to wonder if her stealing Helios right now was a part of Nehelania's designs, too. If such was the case.... Well... Black Lady would, undoubtedly, make her pay. 

Her smile turns into a frown and she says nothing as they step through the darkness and out into the cool, night air of the 20th century. They were still close to the circus but not so close that the darkness from the floating tent had overtaken them. With hands clutching Pegasus's reigns, she sighs. It was all well and good to take Helios for her own, but she wanted him to be whole again, human again, and not trapped in the body of a horse. Said horse was magnificent. Its silver fur seemed to twinkle under the moonlight and... was she dreaming? She thought she felt the softest nudge against her free hand, but no. No, surely it was her imagination. 

His question is ridiculous. How many times must she repeat herself till he finally understood that, in the twisted desires of her blackened heart, that she wanted him by her side - for all eternity? If her mother had her father and their love was some kind of moonlight miracle then why shouldn't the once future heir to her mother's throne be granted the same courtesy? And as annoying as they were and as much as she didn't want their approval, wouldn't they be fine with her choice in suitor? He was, after all, her father's priest. 

She doesn't answer his question but instead says, "Take me to Elysion." It's short, simple, sweet. She isn't sure what she'd do there, but perhaps there was a way she could find the answer to the curse that ailed him but really what she wanted was to be there with him. In a world of darkness , in a world of their own making.

he hadn't entered her dreams at all for the past few days, and that's what shocks him the most: he'd thought mentions of him would cease the moment his maiden had become like this. after all, he is a priest of elysion—he is light whereas she became the moon hidden by the clouds, a moon that he can no longer see at full beauty because she's so dim now. she's so dim, and he misses the incandescent glow of her pure heart, of all her beautiful dreams.

helios sometimes wonder how they got here, but at the same time, the answer is clear and obvious and there's this unspoken distance he has to deal with—this boundary line separating him from his maiden and the lady he is with now. with his maiden, he could usually pick up whenever she called out for him; he'd respond to the earnest feelings in her heart that wants him to be with her, and the kiss he gave her was one that silently promised she would still have him if everyone else in the world left her. that will not happen, though. helios still believe she's surrounded by love, but she is too clouded by her doubts to realize it—after all, she would not be black lady if she knew.

black lady is still an enigma to him: she is obviously taller, older, but also more broken and tragic. whenever he looks at her face, he thinks of his little maiden and he'd feel something ache in his heart, like a piece of chipped glass is wedged in his chest. helios wants to ask how she dreams of him, whether or not the current him is someone she can see herself with, like how his maiden envisioned flying around the world with him. is the dream-him still the same as he is now? or is he... different? perhaps he was also clad in black like her? what version of 'helios' does black lady want to dance with her?

but he realizes that she's asking him that, with no extra questions or comments about the dream-helios. she just asks him to dance with her, and maybe that means a part of her—the maiden—still thinks about him, the helios who came into her life to look for a maiden with a beautiful dream. is is silly of him to wonder if he is the light that keeps her lingering? maybe... maybe he can still play that role for her.

❛  ...i shall, my lady,  ❜ he says, finally, and gently places his hand over hers. he touches her like how the sun softly coats the world in light. ❛  we can dance for as long as you like.  ❜

after all, this world of darkness only holds the two of them here. this whole place is like their secret, and even the sun can hide behind the clouds at times. for his maiden— lady, he will go behind the clouds with her if that's what she wants.

Più (Lega della) Giustizia per tutti!

Si commenta da solo: Wonder Woman è prepotentemente bella, per fortuna c’è Acquaman che è così gnocco da compensare. Poi c’è Ironman l’uomo CGI, il simpatico Power Ranger (rosso) Bimbominchia chiacchierone e poi c’è l’anima della festa: Batman. 

Batman è la simpatica nota di colore che mancava all’universo DC. 

Il suo super potere è restare impassibile, e ciò lo rende adorabile. Lo amo.
