Random sappy textpost because I don’t know where else to put this, but this account feels about appropriate;

Around this time last year, the house I was living in was going to be painted. All the furniture was rearranged and the windows had to be open 24/7 so the paint fumes could waft out. It was also around this time that I began rewatching Jacksepticeye’s playthrough of “Bloodborne”, and a few rewatches and lore dives turned into extensive interest.

I made a bit of(very bad) fanart before deciding to get a tumblr. I was choking on paint fumes literally all the time and had to wake up at 5:00 to catch the bus for school, and since it was approaching autumn, that meant it was always cold, and winter-time depression was setting in. But MAN. Bloodborne really really turned that small pocket of time in my life into something really special. I began talking with/dming some incredible people who I never would’ve come across otherwise, creating more, reading more, all the rest of it. Autumn and winter are, year-round, the hardest parts of the year for me to get through, especially from an abusive household. I don’t think I would’ve been as happy without meeting the incredible community here.

It’s not a particularly noteworthy or riveting series of events, but I just can’t help but remember that warm candlelit feeling I had inside while everything around me sucked. I remember I’d read fanfic/look at fanart while listening to Alex G’s “Mary” on loop. Now I can’t smell paint, or listen to “Mary”, or sleep on the floor, or experience fall without getting unreasonably happy over a silly old video game.

Insert something vaguely purply poetic about how the world’s most toxic nose-stinging eye-watering throat-aching smell has become deeply nostalgic with a simple change of perspective and people

TLDR: thank you bloodborne, thank you tumblr, thank you mutuals. I have so many core memories from being unreasonably obsessed with this silly little game and it’s really changed my life for the better. I hope to continue making things for it far into the future :,)

you walked out of the bathroom after washing your face and pass by schlatt's desk, not caring too much about the camera that had you in frame.

"you guys-..what is wrong with qoobo? that's qoobo you fuckers!" schlatt talked to the camera and turned around to the fuzzy robot that wagged its tail. you laughed as you sat on the bed and grabbed your makeup bag and started to head out to the door.

"toots, where'ya goin'?" schlatt turned to you and looked at you with pleading eyes that read "don't leave please."

"i was just gonna do my makeup, why?"

"just do your makeup here," he pats his lap and fully turns his body, spinning the chair around.

you tilted your head in confusion but shrugged, "okay.." you sat on his lap and got comfy, his arms naturally wrapping around you, his chin resting on your shoulder, kissing behind your ear, you can feel him smiling against your skin.

"show the camera what you're doing doll, all the femboys on here can take notes"

you snorted a laugh and sighed, "okay, sure..you know you have a lot of women in here too right?"

schlatt looked at the camera with a deathstare and back to you, "what's that?" he said, pointing to your concealer,

"that's my concealer..let me do my makeup first and then i'll explain."

you go step by step, showing the camera your products as you do your makeup. schlatt just admires you in the monitor, watching the stream playback and how you just do your makeup, his left elbow resting on the armrest as his hand rests under his chin watching you. his right hand snakes down and just rests on your thigh, tracing small circles on your skin.

"okay for my lip combo--where is it..." you looked around for your lip gloss and schlatt sat up and turned to his other desk, grabbing the lip gloss he loved so much and handed it to you.

you thanked him and applied your lipliner and lipgloss, clapping as you finished, "anddddd that's what i do, okay bye"

you giggled and grabbed your makeup bag and got up, feeling the cold air as schlatt's hand left your thigh. schlatt laughed as you quickly left, knowing you aren't the most comfortable in front of the camera. he reached out and grabbed your arm and pulled you closer to him.

"i'll finish up soon, okay princess?" schlatt looked up at you and smiled. you nodded and smiled back, leaning in and kissing him before walking out of his room.

he turned to the computer, rubbing and smacking his lips as your lip combo was now on him.

"chat, you guys wish you could taste this shit. it's addicting for real."

Like every other show I watched this year because it sounded fun and ridiculous, the heart and beauty of it made me weep more than once and resonated deeply with me.

It's fun and entertaining but also, it's simply beautiful. It looks its premise in the eye and takes it seriously in the best way. Not to the point of it feeling overdramatic, but instead it slowly welcomes you into a world where penguins and panthers become humans, it makes the jokes you expect, the silly shenanigans. And after it knows you are someone that can live in this world, it drops a bit of the silly mask and goes, “well now, lets talk. Let's talk about growing up. About how scary the world is. About how hard it is being a human. About how terrible it would be facing this world alone. Its tough right? But is okay, we will keep laughing while we talk”.

Bye loves. I'll miss you a lot. Hope you enjoy being a human, even when it's tough. It's been a pleasure seeing you grow up.

Ronin headcanons made by yours truly, enjoy.

Fluffy ones:

- When you and Ronin decided to go and enjoy pride month on a parade the two of you saw a teenager. That teenager was carrying around their non-binary flag, but they were too scared to hold it out like most people did. You expected Ronin to ignore that, but instead he approached the teenager and held out their flag with them. You never saw him so attentive before.

- Ronin purposefully keeps some of his clothes in your wardrobe to see you wear them and then accuse you of stealing from him just for shits and giggles.

- When you walk past a stray cat and it happens to cling to Ronin he will stop to pat it. He would smile at the cat and say something like "Huh, you like rotten things too?" He would look at you after he said that.

- If you're also trans like he is and you have a dysphoric day he will make sure to help you with it. "Come on baby, you are who you say you are. And to me you are fucking perfect just the way you are." He would help you bind, or try to help you with your make up (probably will fuck it up on purpose if your mood gets better) or whatever else you need to help with your dysphoria.

- Ronin isn't really open about his feelings in words, yeah he will call you his darling or sometimes whisper an "I love you", but mostly he will show it through physical touch, he's touch starved after all. He will hold your hand, poke you to get a reaction, kiss your forehead, maybe even bite you. Big and small touches are just his thing.

- If you're having a shitty day then he will roll you up into a blanket burrito and watch some sappy shit with you so you would feel better. Ice cream craving? He already bought three different flavours? You want to smash something or someone? Baby, he's standing at the door with his crowbar and a baseball bat for you.

Angst shit:

- If you were to die but Ronin had zero control over it, he would be in despair. He didn't take your life, your death wasn't his plan or your pleading. You're just... Gone? He would feel empty for a while and then fill that void with more murder. If someone else dared to murder you they would be gone in a matter of days.

- If you and him broke up in bad blood and somehow you would leave that break up alive, Ronin would be closed off for some time. The server wouldn't notice the change unless they knew him really well. He would try to keep his edgy murderer persona, but if anyone even mentioned your name he would go quiet or leave the conversation.

- Sometimes he can open up about the mess in his head or what happened in his past. He wouldn't show how emotional these topics can make him, but if you've known him long enough you will see the change. Just be there for him, squeeze his hand and say that you need cuddles even if you know that he's the one who needs them, he won't cuddle you when he's sad, the devil doesn't feel sad.

Ronin™ type of shi:

- Ronin would push you until you kill him or a random person. He wants to corrupt your head completely. So as long as blood is on your hands then he will be satisfied.

- If you're obsessed with him then it will give him a strong sense of satisfaction. You not only need him, you can't live without him. His corruption worked out even better than he anticipated.

- If someone misgenders you, acts like an asshole or harasses you in any way, you can expect their aorta on a silver platter with a pair of eyes.

- Ronin will leave you a small message after a kill somewhere on a wall. "Love you rotten darlin'" or something like that. He will laugh at your reaction and say "Awh, but I thought that you would like this cheesy shit baby."

This event has been so much but in a slash pos way. Yea I maybe almost quit about a million times and yea I had some weird constant tiredness that made me crashout every five seconds but I made it!! We're done!!

I'm sad my travels got in the way of the event but it's been fun either way!!! I have never drawn this much and had fun doing it. I have been so motivated and inspired to draw and make art Agian. I think I have really improved to.

I also met so many mutuals and cool artists, not to mention the incredible mods sky and Luna who were so nice to everyone including me, thank you so much for that and running the event <3

This being the first thing I do while new to tumblr was a... choice. I got shadowbanned almost immediately and I still don't know how to access my drafts (fun fact this is my second time writing this post it deleted my last one 🥰) but it taught me so much and I will always look at this part of my sketchbook fondly

Yea maybe it's actually not this deep and I'm an emotional wreck but like, I'm just a silly guy

Chapter Forty-Three: Suspicious Silence and Sappy Hearts

As the sun dipped below the hills, casting a warm orange glow over the peaceful island, a chorus of voices rang through the streets:

“Dinner time! Come home!”

The kids groaned in unison but obeyed, scampering off with calls of “Bye!” and “Come back and play tomorrow!” and “You’re the coolest pirate ever!” trailing behind them.

You stood, stretching your arms overhead with a groan, the flower crowns in your hair bobbing slightly with the movement.

You were covered in grass stains. You were sore from being used as a human jungle gym.

But your chest was warm. Your face still held a tired smile.

This had been… nice.

You waved lazily with one hand, the other gently patting down the crooked flower crown still tangled in your hair.

It had wilted slightly from all the running and roughhousing, but you didn’t have the heart to take it off.

You were tired. Sore. Still smiling.

The slow walk back to the ship was peaceful. The sky had started turning a soft shade of purple, and the sea breeze was light against your skin. You felt warm in a way that had nothing to do with the sun.

But that warmth started to fade the moment the Thousand Sunny came into view.

There were no voices echoing across the deck. No Sanji humming in the kitchen. No Luffy bouncing off the mast. No Usopp arguing with Chopper about something dumb. Not even Zoro’s usual low grumble of “tch” from the corner.

Just… quiet.

You slowed down, boots tapping softly up the gangplank. One step on the deck. Still no one.

Your eyes narrowed. “…Hello?”

No answer.

You walked further in, eyes darting to every nook and cranny. Not even a shadow moved.

“Luffy?” you called, raising your voice slightly. “Guys?”

Still nothing.

You stepped cautiously into the center of the deck, looking around like you were expecting to get jumped. “…Okay. If this is some elaborate prank, you’re all very good at hiding.”

Silence.

Then—a floorboard creaked.

You spun toward it.

Sanji appeared in the doorway from the kitchen, towel slung over his shoulder. He blinked when he saw you, then offered a small, suspiciously gentle smile. “…Hey.”

“Hey?” you echoed, one brow raised.

A moment later, Nami strolled up from below deck. Then Robin. Then Chopper, peeking from around a post. Usopp popped up from behind the railing. Luffy dropped from above like a silent jungle monkey. Zoro came around the mast like he hadn’t been standing there the entire time.

All of them. Casually appearing. Too casually.

“…Why are you all acting like NPCs loading into a cutscene?” you asked, warily.

Robin smiled over her book. “Oh, just curious to see how your evening went.”

You blinked. Looked between them all.

They were standing weird. Like… they’d rehearsed this.

"…What did you do?"

Zoro shrugged, but didn’t meet your eyes. Usopp shoved his hands into his pockets quickly. Chopper looked away and kicked at the floor. Sanji pulled out a drink for you without saying a word.

Your gaze narrowed. “What did you hear?”

Silence.

Then Luffy raised a hand and grinned. “Everything!”

You turned around. “I’m leaving. I’m swimming to the next island.”

Sanji caught your wrist, not letting go. “You looked really happy with them,” he said quietly. “It was nice. Seeing you like that.”

Zoro leaned against the railing. “Yeah. Soft suits you.”

Your face was burning.You yanked your hand away,.

“I’m going to bed,” you mumbled, trying to turn toward the stairs.

Robin closed her book with a soft smile. “We liked your stories, you know.”

“Shut up.”

Chopper beamed. “I liked when you said I give the best hugs!”

“Shut up more.”

Usopp grinned. “And when you said Luffy was the bravest person you knew?”

“Emergency shut up!”

You stormed below deck, grumbling and flustered, the flower crown still bouncing slightly with every step.

The crew stayed behind, smiling, watching the door you disappeared through.

“She’s definitely going to keep wearing that flower crown,” Nami said.

“Of course,” Robin replied. “It suits her.”

Sanji leaned on the railing with a dreamy sigh. “She’s way too cute when she’s caught off guard…”

Zoro grunted. “Tch. Dork.”

And above them, Luffy smiled wide. “She really does love us.”

Nobody disagreed.

Healthy Girl June 3rd Week 🧘🏼‍♀️😴🥗🥦

Hiiii! I hope your healthy girl June is going well and you are beginning to feel like that girl. You are nearly half way there. I always love to hear from you guys and every note on my posts brings a smile to my face! Enough sappy stuff time for the challenges for the 3rd week of healthy girl June 🤍🥗🥦🎧🧘🏼‍♀️.

Day 15

Try a new form of workout. This can be literally anything but it has to be something you haven’t done this month. (You never know when you might find the workout you just love)

Try a new kind of breakfast meal prep for the week.

Day 16

Do a mobility and stretching routine before you workout.

Make a healthy picnic and go enjoy it outside ( take a friend or make it a solo date) fill your basket with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables

Day 17

Try and beat some kind of PR in your workout. Doesn’t have to be by a lot or if it doesn’t happen that’s fine it’s good to see that maybe you ran a little faster or lifted a little heavier.(if you do video workouts maybe try one you did before but took a lot of breaks with but with less breaks this time)

Make a protein shake to have after your workout.

Day 18

Active rest day! Do some deep stretching to loosen stiff muscles and if you are feeling good go for a short walk.

Try a new recipe for dinner and cook it yourself.

Day 19

Find a new mobility video on YouTube and complete it before your workout.

Look up new recipes to try or go to the grocery store and find a new fruit/ vegetable you’ve never tried before

Day 20

Do some stretching and meditation before bed.

Make one of your long time favorite meals for dinner.

Day 21

Active rest day! Do some relaxing yoga before bed!

Meal prep some delicious lunches for the next week.

That’s the 3rd week of healthy girl June. I wanted this week to be all about trying new things to find what works best for you. I find a lot of challenges that last a month can begin to feel mundane and boring especially if you are doing stuff you don’t particularly enjoy. While those might get you better results I want this challenge to be more centered around finding a routine in health that makes you happy because that will be the one you stick with for the longest.

Ray was purchased off Mercari in 2021 in a lot with a couple other members of the collection. He was a grail of mine for a long while, along with the Grey & White Cat. His name is Ray because c’mon. Look at him. That’s a ray of sunshine if I’ve ever seen one. 

He is the custodial parent of his daughter, Sunstar, my Lil’ Kinz Orange & White Cat, and the boyfriend of Luka, my Grey & White Cat. They’ve been together for three years and are still going strong. Ray works part-time at a bank as a teller and is currently taking classes to become an accountant. He likes to write sappy poetry, watch rom-coms, and daydream in his spare time

And here is a little story about Ray!

“Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur,” Ray hums under his breath. The song has been on loop in his brain since he dropped Sunstar and Salty off at school. It’s hard to believe that his kitten is starting 5th Grade. She can still remember her first day of daycare, the face she made when he went to leave. Now, she doesn’t think twice about hopping out of his car, prancing off to her friends with a quick call “Bye, Daddy, love you!” over her shoulder. It’s a bittersweet reminder that he isn’t the only important person in her world anymore. 

Ray sighs mid-tune. The lullaby makes him his chest tight with nostalgia, which isn’t a helpful emotion when you have term papers that need writing. If he gets them done now, maybe he’ll have enough time to meet Luka on his lunch break. They could walk around town, maybe hit up that new sub place that just opened its doors. Yeah, that would be nice. It will help keep his mind off his empty nest syndrome.
