Something to focus that fizzy, spinning thing in his brain towards, something he can funnel all this excess energy into. He can get into it, learn all the terms and the fancy moves, get the full scope of it under his grasp until he can win again and again and again. And it’s going to be awesome. It’s going to be fun. Cats hanging out in hoodie pockets or hoods are so cute I’m so happy that Shig gets to have that experience of your cat bullying their way into your sweatshirt.

“There's a different smell coming off of him that he's never noticed before. Something spicy and stormy that he can't place, but he goes into the bathroom and when he comes out again all he can smell is soap.” HEY????? SHIG WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN THERE????? Doesn’t he know he can’t get off without (human) Dabi there to take care of it?? How rude.

Dabi going full fangirl to the point of getting zoomies is so cute. Congrats Shig, you get the cat experience of you cat behaving possessed (seemingly) at random and there’s nothing you can do about it.

Dabi demanding to go everywhere by screaming is so fucking funny. Him bullying Shig into eating right by screaming is also funny.

“Dabi gets a full shot when he is very well-behaved and doesn't show any signs of intoxication or keeling over.” Nevermind this is funnier. I started cackling when I read that. He gets one (1) shot for being a well behaved good boy. I can’t stop thinking about that imagery. A supervillain drinking a glass of scotch while his stereotypically white cat drinks a tinier glass of scotch. It’s killing me. I love it. I’m so nervous for when the bar gets raided. I’m going to reread this chapter four times now.

Dabi has ONE means of getting Shigaraki to do what he wants right now and that is SCREAM. Shigaraki is really getting the full gambit of cat behaviors, just framed around how a person would use them to express themselves
