Unfortunately, we will never see the script for the synopsis of fire on the moutain, but there are small differences for the revised script and the revised final script that changes the vibe

Like in the revised script, Thundercracker holds more contempt for both Megatron and Starscream, his reasoning for not attacking Skyfire is that it would make both of those guys lives harder, and he would be happy because of it!

I love how he monolouges this to Skyfire as he just stands there in shock

Until Starscream appears and once again, wrecks Skyfires shit, also we get to see that Starscream coldness from fire in the sky. Then he's quite confident that Megatron would listen to him about traitors????

"They exchange glances, and we can see that there's no love between these two" is such a good line and why I'm making this post

Starscream furious that his trinemate was planning to betray him with someone that has betrayed him in the past. Thundercracker seething because his chance to do something that he feels was.. right? His moment of rebellion? Whatever it is, it's out of his grasp, his ticket to doing so was was harmed by Starscream and he's now blackmailed into doing his bidding

Then theres Megatron, who knows the both of them are traitorous, and seems to almost enjoy it?? Damn no wonder why Skywarp is his least favorite...

This is the final script, where Thundercracker DOES want to impress Megatron but doesn't like Starscream because he would take all of the credit, so instead of an act of defiance to the decepticon ideology, it's a ploy to make him look better to Megatron

But maybe it would have been better for him to be more traitorous because now Megatron wants to replace them both with Skyfire (and once again Skywarp isn't even on his mind)

The no love line does have kind of a new meaning here, where it seems like they're both fighting over Megatron and Megatron is rage baiting them both

Man I would love to get script extender working but I've yet to crack it.

Unsure if you mean you can't get it installed or can't get commands to run successfully, so super apologies if I'm telling you stuff you already know (but posting this anyway in case it's useful to someone else).

Do you use BG3 Mod Manager? If so, there is an option to download and install the Script Extender quickly through that interface:

Run that command and complete the extraction, and then open the game via mod manager from the Go menu:

This will open the game directly (you may have to click a confirmation within Steam, although lately it hasn't been prompting me), and you will see two windows open at once - the game and also a console window.

Once you're loaded into a particular save, you can tab over to that console; hit enter a couple times and it will present you with the "server Lua console" input prompt:

You can then type any command you want into this prompt:

(If you've gotten this far but it's actually getting successful commands to run that you're having issues with - I'm def gonna try to put this cheatsheet together and update it as I learn more stuff, but if I can help with something specific in the meantime please let me know. :D )

Thanks to @insanewaykathy and @babytuvok I'm now reallly deep into the rabbit hole of "How much J/C was in the script and how much was due to the insane chemistry of the two actors?".

What’s the language you use for the robot? I’m assuming you’re not using ladder logic (standard for industrial automation including robots) because you would have yelled about it by now.

i don't understand anything happening in industrial robotics land and every time i hear a new piece of information i'm like "how do you people live like this". anyway the on-robot software is a ros-based system with a mixture of c++, python, and rust nodes, and all the fleet management stuff is in python but my coworker keeps making noises about switching to golang :/

okay so after Tales of the Jedi we're getting Tales of the Empire and on a complete non-squitur, in TBB episode 3x10 Hemlock says the other operatives aren't ready yet, which means there're more clone assassins in the making my bet is still on clone x (or the current assassin clone or whatever you call him) being Tech, because him being Cody just wouldn't be the same, it wouldn't be as emotionally devastating for Omega and the Bad Batch as the clone being Tech would be and I saw a theory that maybe Cody is one of the other operatives whose brainwashing just isn't done yet instead so hear me out, hear me out after Tales of the Empire, we could get Tales of the Clones, right? and in Tales of the Clones we could get the story of what happened to Cody, that maybe Cody tried to escape the Empire in TBB 2x03, but he was caught and sent to Hemlock's sick assassin clone program, but the badass he is he's resisting the brainwashing and he maybe escapes??? MAYBE WE COULD GET THAT STORY OR SOMETHING??? WHERE HE ENDS UP ON TATOOINE LIKE HE WAS SUPPOSED TO IN THE OG KENOBI SHOW SCRIPT???? I'D BE SO UP FOR IT OKAY???
