Deity: Litirenn, He who Guides the Vine
Days of bread and wine, are only by design/ Every petal worked, every spirit corked, every silver shined/ Every furnace lit, every lamb and spit, every silver shined/ -Only by Design, From Devil's Carnival: Alleluia!
It is hard work averting famine, a toil through seasons of gruelling weather to ensure the next harvest fares a little better than the last. To turn a scattering of seeds from errant prairie grasses into life sustaining bread is a generations long labour, but it is holy and there is no god that holds it more holy than Litirenn, Steward of Tilled Earth.
Born from a union between a god of growing things and a god of craft, Litirenn's sphere of influence has expanded over time from simple cultivation to any who wish to understand and then improve on nature's designs: Herbalists, natural philosophers, alchemists, biomancers, and those that would remake themselves seeking an inner truth.
Few temples are kept for him, but one can often find the Steward's marks worked in over the doorways of granaries, mills, and wine cellars, or sketched in the margins of a hand bound folio of research notes.
Adventure Hooks:
The grain harvest is coming in, which means the local brigands will be circling like buzzards and the village needs the party to act as bodyguards to ensure their livelihood seven samurai style. The brigands in question however are not outlaws but soldiers of the local warlord, who is currently in dispute with the village over how much grain they owe him for protection.
The village witch is in quite a fix after cultivating a new verity of foreign flower looking to make inadvertently attracting all sorts of weird magical insects to his cottage. The infestation has deprived him of his house, the town of herbal remedies, and the party of cheap healing potions. Something must be done about it.
Seeking to catalogue, preserve, and most of all taste every variety of apple ever grown on the material plane, an eccentric gnomish orchardist has broken into the elfqueen's private gardens and stolen a fruit from a silver tree placed there by the Archheart themselves. The queen's agents would like this handled delicately, not only because the gnome managed her infiltration by seducing the queen (who's quite broken up about it) but also disruption of the tree may juuuuuust have triggered a calamitous prophecy.
Signs: Plants fruiting out of season with abundant growth and fantastical properties, visions of how things came to be made. The appearance of frogs, butterflies, and other creatures that go through a metamorphosis.
Symbols: A vine laden trellis, though alchemical aspects often use the symbol of a snake coiled among grapes.
Titles: Steward of Tilled Earth, He who Guides the Vine, The Cultivator,

'recovering' or 'healing' by starting to hate your former self + shame or mock others for being the way you used to be isn't actually very healing. you can acknowledge + be grateful that you have changed without transferring all your self hatred/shame onto others.

just saw people on twt getting mad that gale said a literal god wasn't good enough for him . i need people to understand that he didn't mean it like "I deserved more than a literal goddess" he meant that his actions were foolish and made it LOOK like he thought himself above one. that he should've been content with what he had, but felt he had to prove himself to her.
if you romance him he literally realizes that he didn't need to find validation in a god but within someone who understands humanity more than a god ever could.
please learn reading comprehension before making yourselves look stupid I'm so tired of this

notes from my therapist
when we explore what happened in your childhood, it is not to blame your parents or have a biased judgement of them. it is to understand how events impacted you and what your experience was. so you don’t have to feel guilty about talking about it or as if you are betraying your family.
trauma can be of various types and it does not only have to be induced due to one major event. there can also be trauma from situations of acute stress over a prolonged period of time.
choosing the wrong or right people does not mean they are good or bad. it means understanding what is healthy for you and what you want. it’s not putting them into boxes, it’s simply knowing what is healthy for you.
why do you wait for a green light from others? what is your green light? why do your decisions have to be based on what others want? what do you want?
being a friendly person and being an open book does not mean that you cannot have boundaries.
you disappointing someone or them disappointing you does not have to be the end of the relationship.

I love the four options for how to get to an island that may or may not have moved in 12 years:
Repair a shipwreck. Probably would take a long time even for a small boat, then 3 days travel, and there's an End of The World timer currently.
Attempt to parlay with nearby traveling ships. 3 days of travel without needing to repair a boat, however bribing with too much coin may cause the crew to slaughter the party in their sleep.
Attempt to parlay with an angry ghost pirate to hitchhike to the island. Still 3 days travel without the previous time needed for repairs - however, requires diplomacy and may end up being attacked by angry ghost pirates.
Teleport. While travel is instantaneous, the staff to do it with damages the user a non-insignificant amount and the user may miss the target location and end up in the ocean or cause further damage to the entire party (and also then still miss the target location).
And naturally, the D&D party chooses ghost pirates.

It is unhealthy to pretend you feel fine when you do not, of course, but it is likewise damaging to risk speaking up about what you are experiencing and then not receive the helpful support that you needed. To those that experienced this additional pain, I want you to know that your experiences were valid and you deserved better. May you continue trying to speak up for yourself anyway. You deserve to be heard and supported.

Adventure: In the Garden of the Wyrm
The castle at Lillyford has sat foreboding and overgrown for generations, the lair of a serpentine dragon who's laid claim to it's sprawling gardens and the river it overlooks. None so far have been brave or strong enough to oust the beast, but perhaps you and your foolish friends are lucky enough to make up the difference.
Hooks:
Most people know well enough to avoid the land surrounding the verdant castle, not only because of the dragon but because of the strange and hostile plant life that's said to thrive in its corrupting presence. A low level party in the region may be contracted to help uproot an invasive patch of poisonous blooms or predatory vines, a teaser for what's to come once they set their sights on the dragon's own garden.
The river traders have had enough. For decades they paid tribute to the dragon to avoid it plundering their barges and still had to deal with it plucking cargo and deckhands into the water whenever it got bored. They're willing to pay, and pay well, for a group of hunters to go in and gut the beast, and will even use their influence to support whoever does it taking ownership of the keep.
Alternatively, have the party enter the scene a few weeks after the hunters failed to kill the dragon, having given up their employers before they were eaten sending the dragon marauding through the waterways looking for revenge. All water traffic throughout the region has stopped as the traders and ferryfolk have gone into hiding, throwing the local economy into chaos.
Someone very important is sick and the hard to find cure just so happens to be a plant known to have been growing in the Lillyford gardens before the dragon arrived. While a frontal assault is out of the question, they could sneak in to pluck it from among the dragon's hoarded horticulture. Surely it won't notice a single missing specimen, right? ..... Right?
The Fortress was once known far and wide for its gardens, cultivated by generations of lords and ladies who traced their lineage back to a questing knight, who earned their station by presenting their liege with a flower obtained from the realm beyond the sunrise.  The seeds of that flower became the first planted in the castle’s garden, and began a collection of exotic blooms that the family expanded on throughout the decades.
All wonders attract admirers, and among the lovers, herbalists, poets, and perfumers, the one who most admired the gardens of Lillyford was a dragon by the name of Pyrithi, who one day emerged from the river and presented himself at the castle gate, demanding that the owner of Lillyford surrender the keep and all its contents to him. When the owner and their men fought back, Pyrithi unleashed a foul breath which sickened their lungs and corroded their armour. Pyrithi did the same to the door of the keep, and threatened worse to those still inside, using the fallen and debilitated protectors as hostages.
Since that day none but the dragon have set foot in Lillyford, who has supplemented the original gardens with several species of poisonous and/or maneating plants. Should some brave heroes manage to slay the wyrm, they will not only have the thanks of the now-exiled nobles of Lillyford, but also the fame granted to those who protected the keep’s heroic legacy.

Cellbit who places flowers by his sons empty bed and wonders why he works for the federation if he can’t use it to his advantage, if all he does is end up alone. Who could barely handle when him and Roier were fighting, who was so grateful when Foolish would stick around to build for him when he was making himself public enemy to gain favor with the feds. Who pleads with Forever, who is so very clearly out of his mind, begging him not to leave him alone, not like this, not now of all times.
Cellbit who is keeping himself as calm and as balanced as he can, because he knows what it’s like to lose yourself, and he knows how isolating it can be. Who’s there for every one of the islanders even if it’s spreading him far too thin, backpack bursting with notes and photos and evidence with all the problems he’s relied on to help solve. Who’s building the Order to make sure that no matter where their allegiances lay, no one on the island will have to deal with the federation on their own. So they’ll have a place they can come together and rely on each other.
Cellbit who just doesn’t want to end up alone. Not again. Not anymore.

I could say a lot of good things about Love on the Spectrum, but the biggest thing is that it makes me feel better about myself. I feel like I can unmask more, accept myself more as an autistic person. I feel like I can earnestly strive for a 'normal' life regardless of what neurotypical society thinks. My entire life has been barriers by neurotypicals and this show made me realize that it doesn't have to be that way.
It makes me believe in a happy life for myself. I never ever saw that before, really ever. I wanted to marry and just assumed I never would. I wanted to parent and just assumed I never could. Nobody would ever want to be with a 'weird' person like me. I was always so different from everyone growing up and couldn't place why, or figure out what was going on. I've never seen autistic people on TV like this. Real lives, happy lives, supported and loved. There is good in the world for people like us.
Seeing Jennifer tell Abby so confidently that yeah! She has kids! Autistic people can get married and have kids! And Sharnae and Jimmy's wedding just killed me. They were both just completely themselves, lost in their emotions and nobody cared. No masking, no pretending. Just blatantly themselves, so in love and so happy. Their loved ones were plainly just happy for them, that's it. Like any other wedding. I never thought that could be real for me, but it can. And I so love that the cast members talk about how positive their experience on the show was, that's vital.
Representation does matter, but fuck. Representation in (dignified) reality TV matters so fucking much.
