i use any and all pronouns (short psa about this at the bottom of the post). my identity is honestly very fluid- i considered for a time that i was genderfluid, but i'm probably abrogender. also abrosexual. idk man it's confusing

this blog is open to all of you who would like to share your abro experiences, ask questions, give answers or suggestions, and more!! i'm looking forward to meeting all of you!

abrogender describes gender fluidity in a way that is sort of similar to being genderfluid. if you're abrogender, your gender fluctuates in a way that is impossible to pin down, or you have so many tiny aspects to your gender that you're constantly discovering it.

abrosexual is the same idea as abrogender, except with your sexuality. someone who's abrosexual would find their sexual identity shifts often- they might identify with the term gay, and then might feel attracted to all genders, and then might not feel any attraction at all.

Appearance:

Janus has graying dark brown hair with bangs swept slightly to the side. She usually pulls it back in a chignon to keep it out of the way, but when it is down, it reaches their shoulder blades. Their eyes are asymmetric, their right eye is a large human eye with a deep brown iris, their left eye, which is usually left covered, is the same shape as their left but resembles a vortigaunt's eye, with a red sclera and yellow in the center.

He stands at 6'5" and has a fair bit of lean muscle built up from working out in his free time, making him somewhat imposing, despite not necessarily trying to be. Thon has perfect posture at almost all times.

Clothing wise, it prefers red suits and a lab coat, though won't balk at other options. Xe often wears hastily applied, brightly colored makeup, though it is clear xe knows what xe's doing.

Personality:

Most would describe Janus as abrasive and acerbic. Co is harsh in word choice and keeps everyone at as much of a distance as is possible. Hu will help anyone who needs it, certainly, but hu'll complain the entire time, and make the entire experience unpleasant. Various things are known to get a harsher than usual reaction, and a handful are known to evoke more mellow or even melancholic reactions, but what those are is kept close to the chest.

Those who have known Jonaitis for a long time will attest that this was not always their demeanor. Once upon a time, they were quite pleasant, if a bit of a people pleaser, occasionally, this trait will rise to the surface only to be corrected for with vehemence.

History:

Prior to the Resonance Cascade and subsequent invasion, Emery Jonaitis was a chemist in research and development for pharmaceuticals. They were generally well liked among their peers, but were notably very shy and rarely reached out to anyone they did not directly work with.

After they survived everything, they worked to establish positive relations between humans and the alien species who could communicate, notably the Vortigaunts. They established a close bond with one who would later be known as Elephant, due to the effects of an accident they unintentionally caused.

This accident rendered Elephant unable to see the future or communicate with her brethren on the same level as she used to, and rendered Jonaitis with the ability to visually perceive future states of anything with their left eye. Neither of them were thrilled with this. Jonaitis isolated out of guilt, refusing to get close to anyone on any meaningful level.

Here’s how it works:

The top row is for sexuality flags. The left side has flags for many different identities, and the right side is for asexual spectrum identities in particular. If you don’t identify as being on the ace spectrum, you don’t have to include a flag on the right–the flag you select on the left will cover the entire top row. This is true for all of the flags in this picrew.

The heart in the middle is for romantic orientations. The left side has lots of different flags for romantic orientations, and the right side has flags for aromantic spectrum identities. If you don’t experience split attraction, you don’t have to include this heart.

We are NOT traumagenic, but we are adaptive and don't usually consider ourselves endogenic because of that. We coined the term automisiagenic to describe our origin of the original's self-hatred. We are hydraconscious and mediple!

We turned out to be partially traumagenic lol, we just didn't want to call what we experienced trauma because everyone else has it worse and yet it was bad enough to fuck us up. Anyway neurotraumagenic gang rise up!

Most people can interact, the only hard boundaries we have are on people who tell others to die, and on actual pedophiles, whether they are offenders or not. Offenders can go straight to hell and/or prison, non-offenders we just feel really uncomfortable with. If you are not a pedophile, then feel free to interact if your purpose is not to attack or trigger.

We are trying not to get into too many arguments on this blog, but we will state our beliefs so that those with those beliefs on DNIs can avoid us! These beliefs include:

Skeptical humanist-adjacent atheism that's agnosticism on a technicality

Anti-censorship of true fiction (fiction that does not represent or contain real people. Fictives are real people but they are not exactly the same as their source, and their source is the one depicted in most fanfictions and not the fictive themself.) This makes us pro-ship on a technicality-- we do not "ship" characters but we do read fiction that would be morally bad if it happened in real life. Do not harass us for this-- the block button is right there.

Anti-contact if harmful, pro-para. We support no-contact pedophiles, we just don't want to interact with you. All other (no-contact if paraphilia would harm people) paraphiles are welcome to interact.

Pro-endogenic and pro-traumagenic systems. We feel slightly uncomfortable with tulpas, thoughtforms, and other created headmates due to bias that we're trying to remove. Mainly, our concerns are about headmate abuse by their creator, but we understand that not every creator hurts their headmates and are trying to get over this bias. Completely cool with tulpas and thoughtforms now, love y'all.

We never tell anyone to die. They can be the worst person on the planet but they still need the opportunity to learn and grow, and death removes that opportunity. Don't tell people to die.

The Narrator: Brainmade, refers to himself in third person. Is distanced from emotions--he can feel them, but not strongly. Wife is the Analyst/Sarah, who rarely fronts. Man. He/him pronouns.

Papyrus: a post-canon Undertale fictive, types in all-caps and speaks like it too. His brother Sans is here too. Adoptive uncle of Frisk (Musical). Thinks he's a man but he's not completely sure. He/him pronouns.

Pink/Candy: a former facet of Alan Kai and a partial introject of both the color pink and the song Drop Pop Candy, specifically JubyPhonic and Kuraiinu's cover. Genderfae. She/her, they/them and fae/faer pronouns.

The Dramatist: half-brainmade, half-introject. He is a partial introject of Mettaton, took the appearance of Rouxls Kaard combined with a guy in our AP Lang class, and is loud and dramatic all the time. Man but in a non-binary way. He/him and xey/xem pronouns.

Oliver Dunham: a fictive from Fringe (TV show) who turned out to be trans and doesn't want to put out his deadname, though you could easily look it up. Trans man. He/him pronouns.

Frisk (Rafi): Fictive of a specific fanfic of Undertale, but had an appearance change. Chara and Asriel's datefriend. Maverique. They/them pronouns.

Zephyr: Brainmade. Agender, pretty much any pronouns, though he doesn't like ones with 'x's or 'k's. The most sane person out of all of us, bless them.

Heya so I just found your blog and I wanted to ask you something. I’ve been questioning my gender for maybe 2-3 months now and I can’t seem to figure it out. I was born a girl but sometimes I just feel like one. There’s always that underlying feeling that I’m just not. I’ve been questioning the fact if I’ve just been non binary or agender but I still feel like I’m something? Sorry if this is just random, it’s just that you look like you’ve helped so many people so I just wanted to ask. Thanks.

Also, confused gender anon here, I’m also confused about pronouns? Like seriously, am I she/her? He/him? They/them?

I can’t tell you for certain what you are, because the only person who can determine that is you. That said, here’re some things that might help. 

There aren’t that many nonbinary characters in media, which means it’s easy to think that there’s a specific Right Way to be nonbinary, but that’s not the case at all. Some nonbinary people have genders that change over time (genderflux, genderfluid), but other nonbinary people experience gender in a way that doesn’t ever change. Some nonbinary people feel multiple genders (bigender), some nonbinary people feel just one (maverique, demigender), and some nonbinary people don’t feel gender at all (agender). So if you think you feel gender, you might not be agender, but you could definitely still be nonbinary. (Some extra evidence is that you mention that sometimes you don’t feel like you’re a girl, but you don’t ever consider whether you’re a boy.)

Pronouns are a part of gender presentation, which means that if you do lots of introspection, things can get pretty complicated. However, there aren’t any “rules” about pronouns; some nonbinary people use they/them, some use he/him, some use she/her, some use xe/xem, some use ze/hir, some use a pronoun set I’ve not listed, some use multiple pronoun sets, some don’t use any pronouns. The important thing is that you like your pronouns, that they make you feel good when other people use them; everything else is secondary.

Day 25 - Non-binary gender (also called NB) describes any gender identity which does not fit the male and female binary spectrum.
