They would burn down the world for you. kissing the ground you walk on. praise you for anything you do. but you give them white hairs on how you behave. It was irritating how you couldn’t see how attractive you are or how people drooled at the sight of you. or, how fucking reckless you were in the battlefield.

They chase after you because you were selfless to save whoever needed it and sometimes that meant them. Of course they loved how you wanted to save them but you didn’t know how to control yourself.

The squad would freak out even over the slightest bruises or cut on your skin. They want to wrap you up in bubble wrap to keep you safe.

And it was irresistible not coo at your pouted lips when they called you stupid, like you didn’t just do the most ridiculous thing in the world. they’d hold you close and pat your head while saying the most degrading things in a soft voice.

“Dumb baby, couldn’t make it ten minutes without us helping you?” Kats kissed your cheek with a smirk.

Or, when you have to do paperwork you have to sit with one of them to make sure you do it right. you ask so many questions like you don’t have a clue even though you have asked a million times. If you happen to be with katsuki he will just rip it from you and do it himself.

Denki is not aloud alone when he uses his quirk because it’s dangerous. you both would almost kill yourselves with ideas. once he decides to see how far he could throw you, or how much electricity you could take…Both of you were punished.

Mina loves to style you up in cute outfits, your style of course but she faints over your body. she gets on her knees when you show even the littlest of skin. she’s your own cheerleader. brushes your hair and clings to your arm to make everyone know you belong to them.

Sero seems like he’d be chill but he wouldn’t. he loves to tease you so much, asking you questions you don’t know the answers to. or pulling at your clothes saying that if you had a inch of smarts like you have looks then you could be smart. He will not hesitate to roll you up with tape if you get ready to do something, or run away.

Kirishima…finds himself growling like a dog. how pretty you look makes him wanna sink his teeth into you. or, when you pout at them making fun of you, you’ll find your way into his arms. dumb you that forgets he’s just as bad. though he does love putting you on his shoulders and calling you his darling.

Bakugo, is the meanest. he will always call you stupid if you do something. talks to you like you can’t do anything! need to tie your shoes, no he will do it. fighting a villain? he’s there and takes them down. but he also praises you if you say something smart and keeps treats for you. He also blushes on how you look, will pull your clothes up or down because you’re too pretty. He doesn’t want a extra to see you.

You should be lucky to be their dumb little baby.

My Hero Academia AU: Ambush Simulation

Aight, storytime:

So awhile back, I was thinking about Episodes 4 & 5 of the anime Soul Eater where the gang is tasked with capturing two villains, the zombie Sid and the guy who resurrected him, Professor Stein.  (There’s also the added stakes that if they fail in this task, they’ll be expelled from school.)  After a somewhat harrowing fight, defeating Sid and losing to Stein, the plot twist is this was never a real fight, Stein and Sid were not villains, and this whole thing was just a test that was orchestrated and sanctioned by the school and definitely skewed more toward hazing than actual education.

And I thought, what if that’s all the Vanguard Action Squad was during the Summer Camp Arc?  Just a test orchestrated by UA that skewed more toward hazing than actual education. (Note:  These are the traditional LoV members, so Muscular, Mustard, and Moonfish are not part of this line-up.) At the very least, that would probably be the meanest ruse Aizawa has pulled. And you can't tell me Principal Nezu wouldn't have been all in for this plan.

"Ambush Simulation" is playing off my earlier AU comic with Shigaraki being the adopted nephew of All Might and leading a pretty normal life.  The rest of the squad is more or less in the same boat. For context, Touya’s canon divergence is he returned home after the three-year comatose and actually stayed there, but since nothing about that household environment really changed, he’s still an unhinged mess, but that is a whole other kettle of fish best saved for another comic. (Clearly getting a kick out of the prospect of scaring a bunch of kids, including his brother, half to death, though.)  Toga’s home life is rocky at best after ‘the incident,’ but she’s no longer a runaway teen.  Everybody else just kinda fell in with each other.

Their role as a vigilante team was inspired by the series Durarara!, specifically Kadota and his crew for anyone who's familiar. I genuinely forgot the Vigilantes spinoff existed...sigh, it's been awhile and I only recently got back in this fandom. The Vanguard is pretty much living by a 'you're only in trouble if you get caught,' philosophy. (And the nepotism has probably saved all their asses a few times because it doesn't look good for the No. 2 Hero if his eldest son is busted for vigilantism.)

I think the one thing that I love the most about GoW (2018) and GoW: Ragnarok is the fact that the women of the world have the most power out of all of their male counterparts. And it isn't because they have higher power or any special abilities.

It is because they are women. And they are messy and angry and don't always have the best view of the world, themselves or others.

And that they are actually respected by the story itself.

Like, say what you will about how Faye had to die to kickstart Kratos' redemption arc, but I find it unbelievably badass that said dead woman played the long-game of the century, made herself a living legend in all of the 9 realms, knew fully that she was going to die young, but instead of wallowing in despair, she chose to smile and love her husband, son, her heritage and friends to the fullest despite it all.

Freya rallies armies, beats the shit out of her ex, regains her warrior spirit, reunites and rekindles her relationship with both her Valkyrie sisters, Kratos and Atreus and twin brother, heals from the death of her son and regains a new family.

Angrboda uses her companionship, trust and gentleness with Atreus to show him a glimpse at the life and skills of a giant, peace and comfort and overall domesticity that he had been lacking back home due to odin and fimbulwinter, as well as give him the skills needed for his journey into who Loki is.

The Valkyries are able to be well respected warriors who are fully proud to be fighting aside true commanders and fighters and not have to follow Odin's command.

Thrud becomes worthy to wield her fathers hammer, is respected by her mother and those around her for the first time.

Sif controls, rallies and persuades Thor, the meanest of the aesir to nearly kill Atreus and Kratos for revenge against the deaths of their sons, just by her words and love for him alone. SHe even tries to be a better mother to Thrud due to having lost Magni and Modi.

The Norns freely use their creepiness and vast knowledge of fate and time and wisdom to scare the shit out everyone they meet and because of that, people don't dare mess with them, not even fucking mansplain-manipulate-manslughter Odin.

The Lady beneath the water is so respected and worshiped that it's factually known that you don't talk to the lady, she talks to you.

A lot of GoW is about swinging axes and ripping apart enemies. But the most powerful characters don't do that. They use their emotions and smarts and intelligence rather than their fists.

the true character arc for God of War isnt about Kratos at all.

It's the fact that God of War went from a dudebro power-fantasy hack-n-slash game where the women were either relegated to sex minigames, sub-par emotional justification for *why* we are killing gods, and villainous roles---to actual 3-dimentional characters who are given proper respect, courtesy and value, who are integral to the story as a whole and are crucial to the long term consequences of the game.

okay here's something that honestly could have saved TDAS (maybe not entirely, but it would be a massive improvement):

Cut Mal out as the villain. He's not threatening, he's just kind of weird and pathetic. If you absolutely NEED him in the show, make him the weird emo kid or make him think he's evil and intimidating but no one takes him seriously. Or something. Just make him a silly guy, mostly inconsequential, and not actually evil. Ableist stereotype removed, with the added bonus that half the characters don't look like idiots for not figuring him out!

"But Alienon, we still need a villain for this season! The whole reason Mal happened is because it's an all-star season; most of the villains there are already been-there done-that."

That is true. And here's my suggestion.

MAKE. JO. THE. VILLAIN.

She was already kind of an antagonist in ROTI, but kind of got overshadowed by Lightning amd Scott. Now Lightning's been immediately booted and Scott's too traumatised from the previous season to be any serious threat. This is the PERFECT time to give Jo her own time in the spotlight.

Going up against classic TD players like Heather, Duncan and Alejandro, she is WAY less experienced in the show - but she also knows what to expect from them. She knows all of them have weaknesses she can use against them. It won't be easy, but Jo likes a challenge. She's the strongest. The smartest. And by extension, the meanest. And now it's her time to prove that.

Not to mention, this is the best time to actually give her character development! Explore her body issues! Her internalised misogyny! Her insecurities! She seems to have at least some morals, so what are they? What are her limits, amd how far can they be pushed? Her ideological differences with Brick ("no man left behind" vs "stick to the plan no matter what") were pretty cool in ROTI, maybe she could butt heads with other contestants in a similar fashion? And I mean beyond just pettily squabbling with Heather over who's the team leader.

Seriously, I have so many Thoughts about how this season could have been improved, and this is one of the biggest. Give my queen what she deserves!!

Not rlly warnings: The flashbacks and what we tell the class isn’t exactly the same, just the more detailed version. Gwen is black in this universe just becuz, no superheroes or villains just a reg earth, college drama oooo, Reader was a goody two shoes before meeting Miles (Like… not knowing was weed looks like goody two shoes),

“So you guys are dating!!” Someone in the crowd shouted, everyone agreeing with them.

“Actually,” you said smiling, making your way over to Miles and Meadow. “We’re married. Since last year.” You finished, untucking a necklace from your shirt to reveal a ring on a necklace, making everyone go crazier.

“Dont even think about startin’ all that yappin’! Its time for class so get your butts to your seats. Quickly!” Miles shouted making everyone complain as they made their way into their respective classrooms. You shook your head making grabby hands to your daughter.

“Meymey stop being a daddy’s girl and come back to mommy! I miss you already!” You fake cried, pouting as Meadow laughed at you.

“Papá! Isn’t mommy being silly?”

Miles smirked down at you, quick to agree with the baby. “Yup, she is. You had her all day its my turn.” He stuck his tongue out at you, scurrying into his room before letting you talk, making you chuckle.

You go back into the classroom, sighing deeply when you see all your students looking at you expectantly.

“What?” You say, deeply confused as to what they want from you now.

“Sooo, you’re not gonna tell us how you guys met??” One of your students replied with a wide smile on his face.

“Uhm.. no?” You chuckled shaking your head. “Why would I tell you that?”

“You owe us for lying to everyone for the whole schoolyear!!”

“Yea!”

“Pleaseeee Ms.y/n! Or should we call you Mrs. Morales?”

Once again, a round of ‘ooo’s go around the classroom, but this time directed at you.

“Alright alright I’ll tell you guys, and no you don’t get to call me Mrs. Morales. What’s wrong with y’all..” You mutter the last part to yourself, dreading telling your kids how you met your husband.

“You gotta be kidding me…” You whisper to yourself, looking at your new roommates. Your dorm situation had been all over the place the whole semester, resulting in you having to room off campus with what looked like the meanest man you’ve ever seen, and the nicest girl ever.

“Your rooms over there, kitchens over there, oh!— me and you share a bathroom, hope you don’t mind! My room is right there if you need something! Or if you wanna hang out I don’t mind.” The girl, Gwendolyn if you remembered correctly, smiled brightly at you. The tall boy next to her nodded his head at you both and went to his room.

“What’s his deal?” You question, trying to peak into his room. You didn’t see anything but purple walls before he closed the door though.

“Ah, that’s Miles. He’s nice once to get him, don’t worry! Super cute though, don’t you think?” She smirked, bumping shoulders with you.

“Yea… I guess so.”

“So you guys were roommates? That’s so boringgg.” Someone in the back whined.

“If it’s so boring then I don’t need to finish my story, right?” You laugh, stretching back in your desk chair.

“Bro why the fuck did you say that?”

“What did Gwendolyn look like?”

You stop to think about the question, trying to remember since it’s been a couple years since you’ve seen her.

“She.. was a little taller than me. Really pretty girl, big eyes, and she had a gap I think. And she had all types of piercings, and she always got her hair done in the color blonde with pink ends for some reason.”

“So she black?”

“Yea, but she’s from the country part of new york pretty sure. Anyways let me continue..”

You and Gwen had become good friends over time. You learned some new, albeit boring, things about her.

You couldn’t say the same for Miles though. You never really talked to him after you realized you weren’t gonna get past a quiet nod in your direction. But even then, you found yourself liking his coy personality. You wanted to learn new things about him, even if it was boring. Only thing you learned about him was that he was also studying to get an Education Degree.

You made your way back home after a long day at school, ready to shower and fall face first into your bed. Unlocking the door, you chuck your bag on the entryway table, ignoring how Miles stared at you with a confused look on his face.

You were right by your door when Gwen called your name running up to you.

God you loved the girl but damn can you live?

“Ynnieee, how was classes?” She asked, twirling her blonde and pink braids with a finger.

“They was aight, I’m tired as hell.” You groan, rubbing your eyes.

“Oh well before you go! Theres this thing I’m going to next Saturday. Come with me?” She looked down at you expectantly. You found yourself fighting against the voice in your head. Part of you wants to say no and sleep for days, but the other part sees this as an opportunity to get out the apartment for something outside of school for once.

“Alright. I’ll go. Now leave me alone I wanna sleep forever.” You say, rushing into your room to shower and lay down. You’d felt a little bad for rushing away like that, but your shower was more important to you in the moment. And you didn’t see how Gwen reacted to your slight attitude, eyes squinting at your door hard enough to burn a hole through it.

Your shower and nap worked wonders. You woke up at around 2 in the morning, not healthy at all but aye, a good nap is a good nap. You sit up in your bed, feeling way better than you had when you got home. Feeling a little thirsty, you make your way to the kitchen, deciding to eat some noodles for dinner too.

“Why you up so late?” You heard a gruff voice behind you, making you almost jump out your skin. You whip around to see who was talking to you, and it was none other than your mysterious roommate Miles.

“Miles, what the fuck?” You whisper scream, putting your bowl of microwave noodles down.

“You ain’t answer my question, ma.” He smirked at your annoyed tone, leaning his back against the counter across from you. You roll your eyes, ignoring how the nickname made you feel.

“I just woke up and i’m hungry, obviously,” you said, gesturing to your noodles. “Why are you up, Mr. Morales?”

“Can’t sleep.” He sighed deeply, looking down at you like he wanted to ask something.

“What?” You said softly, slurping on some noodles as you look back at Miles.

“Nun.. just, wanna hang out in my room?”

“Uhh sure..”

“Your rooms so clean..” You say, analyzing the things around you. Movie posters and artwork that seems to be Miles’ are strung around the deep purple walls. Not a speck of dust on any of his things, only thing slightly messy was his bed. Probably from tossing and turning while trying to fall asleep.

“Are you saying you thought I lived like a pig?” He laughed at you, sitting on the edge of his bed, pulling a folding tray close to him.

You shrugged, slurping up more noodles while standing. You didn’t really know what to do with yourself, this being the first time you actually talked to Miles.

“Why you still standing up? C’mon,” He beckoned you to sit next to him, taking a shoebox from under his bed. “You ever smoke a blunt before?”

“So you guys played games and talked till you fell asleep?”

“Yup! Don’t tell him I told you this but, he sucks at Mortal Kombat.”

This earned you a confused look from Miles.

“A blunt. A joint. Doja.”

You furrow your eyebrows.

“Like… the singer?”

“You gotta be kidding me.” He lays back on his bed, laughing at you like his life depended on it. “You telling me you don’t know what weed is?”

“Why didn’t you just say weed in the first place!” You say, hitting him lightly on the thigh.

“Because you’re old enough to know what a blunt is?” He chuckled, sitting back up to open the shoebox and take out some stuff. You watched silently as a he rolled the ‘blunt’ up, staring at him as he brought it up to his lips and lit it up.

“I’ve never seen weed before,” You mutter scooting farther into the bed till you hit the wall. “Why does it look like…”

“Like what?” Miles asked, smiling a little as he waited to see where this was going.

“Nah, you’re gonna make fun of me.”

“I won’t, ma. I promise.” He said turning to look at you as he inhaled and blew the smoke in your face, making you fan it away.

“I was going to say it kinda looks like moss.” You whisper, looking away in embarrassment as Miles guffawed at your cluelessness.

“Man I’m never letting you live that down.” He shook his head with a smirk. You laughed also, heart swelling at the fact that this might happen again, and Miles may start talking to you more.

“After that we became good friends yada yada yada. We hung out a lot, and sometimes had sleepovers in each others rooms,” You say as you filed some papers away. “And Gwen didn’t like that.”

“Oh my god did y’all fight?!” A kid in the back exclaimed, bouncing up and down in excitement.

“What? No, I don’t fight people. She did want to fight me though.”

Everyone made a disappointed noise at that, when the door opened with Meadow and Miles looking inside.

“What lies she telling y’all now?” Miles scoffed as Meadow ran into her mother’s arms. He walked up to you and gave you a small peck on your cheek, making the whole class gag.

“First of all, ew. Second of all, Mrs. Morales was telling us about how she didn’t fight Gwen cuz she don’t fight people.”

“Mrs. Morales?” Miles said looking at you as you shook your head and shrugged. “Man she really is lying to yall. She did fight Gwen, whooped her ass for real. And then she handed my ass to me too. I’m getting flashbacks.” He shuddered at the memory.

“Miles!” You shoved his arm, but you were drowned out by the class asking why and what happened.

“You gotta be kidding me.” You whisper as you get hit with a strong sense of deja vu. Weeks have passed since the first time you and Miles talked. And you’ve started to catch feelings. But obviously, your sweet little roommate, who wasn’t really sweet or little at all, didn’t like that. Despite her very obvious disliking you and Miles’ blooming relationship, she didn’t do anything to stop you two from becoming more than friends. Until now.

You sigh deeply as watch Gwen all up on Miles, talking his ear off and rubbing in him as they sat on the couch. Miles payed her no mind, scrolling on his phone as he waited for you to come home since he missed you all day. She looked up at you smiling her fake little smile as she rested her head on Miles’ shoulder. “Hey roomie!”

You look at her with a straight face, eyes moving to Miles who’d jumped up to talk to you.

“Ma it’s not what it looks-“

“Ok. I’m going to bed.” Interupting him, you march into your room, slamming the door behind you hoping your roommates would take the hint.

“Damnnnn Ms.y/n you got played by Mr. Morales? Tsk, tsk, tsk. Now me personally I would never treat you like that-“

“Dont even start with that foolishness,” Miles rolled his eyes at the kid. “It was a lil misunderstanding thas it. Lemme continue.”

But of course. Gwen didn’t.

“Ynnie?” Gwen knocked on the door before she came in. Sitting on the edge of the bed next to you.

“Hm?”

“You seem out of it are you ok..?” She asked quietly, she sounded so… sincere that you almost thought she was being genuine. Almost. But her behavior these past few weeks was enough to not trust her.

She leaned in to whisper in your ear.

“Is it because I got to Miles before you could?”

“Excuse me?” You stare at Gwen with a confused look on your face.

“Y’know. Cause I’m better than you and all that.” She shrugged with a smirk on her face.

“And then BAM Ms. y/n was all on her, and I had to come in and separate them, Gwen tried to get me to feel bad for her too. She was like “Miles! Do something!” ‘N I looked at her like “Really?” And she went crying to her room, embarrassing.” He tutted. “When I looked at Ms. y/n she started yelling at me and punching my chest, shoot felt like I was Gwen for a second! I’m sure she had it worse though, cause she moved out two days after. Extra embarrassing.”

“Damnnnn!”

“Ms. y/n you kinda scare me now..”

“Is he lying Miss?”

You hesitated before speaking, “I mean, its a lil dramatic sure but it aint too far off.”

“Damnnnn!”

“You guys are so dramatic. We talked it out after like a week and everything was all good.” You shook your head in disbelief as you pack up your things. Miles’ class ended squeezing into your classroom in the middle of his rendition, but you decided against bothering them and got some work done while playing with Meadow. It was now the end of class and everyone was huddled up on your large carpet, like a bunch of children listening to someone read a book at the library.

“What happened after that, papà?” Meadow questioned, tugging on his pant leg as he leans against the front of your desk.

“Enough from Papà. He’s a bad storyteller,” You said putting on your jacket and grabbing your work bag. “We start dating, graduate college, get engaged, have you- my sweet sweet princess, get married when you were two, and end up here teaching these losers about art and science! The end!

“Yup. The end. Alright c’mon back to class guys,” Miles directed, turning to look back at you before he walked out the door. “Chinese for dinner?”

“Mhm, is that ok with you, MeyMey?” You coo at your daughter as she agrees with you.

“Miles?” You whisper, leaning your head on your husbands shoulder as you rub your stomach.

“Whats up, Ma?”

“You think I’ll be any good at this? Teaching the students and the being a mom, I mean.” You sigh, looking up at him.

“You’ll be the best,” He whispered back, wrapping his arm around your shoulder and kissing your forehead. “I’m sure the kids will love you, and I’m sure our daughter will love you even more.”

You chuckled at that, slowly drifting off to sleep as Miles rubs your side gently.

“Daughter?”

“Yea, and something tells me she’s gonna be a daddy’s girl. Can’t wait to spoil my pretty ladies forever.”

“Yea… yea that sounds nice.”

Gale Theories: Who is "The Supreme"?

In the Miraculous World Special: Tales of Shadybug and Claw Noir it is revealed that the two villains were not the main one's causing chaos, but two villains working under someone or something called "The Supreme" and we never see what they look like, just their logo and influence.

(Spoilers below)

Shadybug and Claw Noir are both clearly terrified of the villain, Betterfly even comments that the two villains he is fighting are being used by the Supreme.

We know that the Supreme gave Gabriel his miraculous and his misuse lead to... well

But thats not all we see of the Supreme,

Tikki and Plagg are both Gagged by the Supreme, the miraculous he gave to Shadybug and Claw noir have kwami unable to speak.

We also know that even if someone were to combine the Ladybug and Cat miraculous that belong to the Supreme

Gimmi, the Kwami of reality CAN NOT grant wishes and even says

Only The Supreme defines reality. Reality is The Supreme

So this begs the Question, who could this "Supreme" be?

Now if we look at the Supreme's symbol it looks like the Order of Guardian's symbol, but with an X through it

This could imply that the being known as the Supreme has had some affiliation with the Guardians in the past or at the very least knows about their existence.

Which leads to the First Theory

The Supreme is the Evil Version of the Order of Guardians

I have seen going around is that the Supreme is an Evil version of the Guardians, and that it is simply a representative of a group as a whole, which does seem feasible, especially when we look into the picture of Gabriel facing multiple symbols but that could also be a stylistic choice.

But if the Supreme IS a group as opposed to just a singular individual than the group MUST be under the evil version of Su Han OR the Wizard that created the Miraculous originally.

I think the theory is a bit lacking as we know very little about the wizard and Su han (while being a competent fighter has shown to be incompetent in literally every other field) so him being the villain doesnt make sense.

But the next theory does hold a bit more water.

Nathalie is the Supreme

We never see who or what the Supreme is, and we never see a version of Nathalie from the other Universe. We know Nathalie used to be a Lara Kroft like explorer and was the one that found the butterfly miraculous. It could be possible that in this timeline, Nathalie FOUND all of the miraculous and used them for her own benefit, making herself the supreme. She has shown to have a better grasp of the miraculous than Gabriel even before uncovering the knowledge.

But this is also speculation as we dont know if Fu is still around in that Universe and if the events of Feast actually happened. And while I do love an all powerful Step Milf. It is also unlikely. The next one may also seem out of left field but does have a bit more justification

Lila/Cerise/Whomever the f***, is The Supreme

Lila as the Supreme? Well she is evil and competent enough. Lila also has the cold hearted nature to accomplish such a feat, And the ending of Season 5 does have something happening that causes our universe's Lila to freak out. An alternate universe conquering Lila does seem feasible with how well she adjusts, but with people commenting she is only 14 that it wouldnt work, what if Lila isnt 14?

The girl knows how to navigate and change persona's at the drop of a hat. The planning and way she acquires things she wants is on a much more devious method than most teens would even consider. Lila could feasibly be someone with eternal youth or a medical disorder that makes her look young. (Yes an Orphan situation). And it is basically a fandom joke at this point with how much Thomas believes that teenagers are the meanest people.

But similar to Nathalie such a possibility is limited and likely not the case.

Fu is The Supreme

Now why would I say this is the most likely situation. On Rewatch, Shadybug does refer to the Supreme as "Him" at one point. Which could be a dubism, but if it isnt there is also the reasons below on why it could be Fu

Fu has canonically had a negative experience with the Guardians

Fu is responsible for the Guardians disappearing the first time by accident

Fu has a deep understanding of the miraculous and was trained in the ways of the guardian.

Fu going mad with power and being alone for almost 2 centuries would be a logical backstory to turn him evil

Since we know that certain events are consistent in the other universe, like Adrien losing his mother and Marinette getting bullied by Chloé. It is likely the events that created Fu are the same. And if the events are the same or similar, than the order of Guardians are no more, leaving one person who would have had ALL the miraculous, and that is Fu.

And lets say the Events DIDNT play out the same, Fu could have made a faction that simply took over from the original Order of Guardians, thats why that symbol is there and is crossing out the Original one.

Fu would also know how the wish works and thus likely made the wish to be the one to alter reality, he likely gave himself the power to have control of things. And while people may argue that Fu is incompetent, he actually has shown to be quite clever and quick to figure things out. Fu also was competent enough to pick ladybug and Chat noir to fight Hawkmoth, so he must understand what is needed.

And that is where I stand on the "Who is the Supreme"

Imagine really living in a world with super powers? Going to school to learn all you can about using your quirk to help people. Fighting villains who threaten the peace and false sanctuary of the world.

You spent hours day dreaming about it and reading comic books. That’s how it should stay, imagine living in THIS universe and people had super powers… funny but not funny haha funny absolutely terrifying.

“ You know what I like this Y/N, I feel like you’re really going to make this into something wonderful for the spring news paper ”

“ Thank you Mrs. Montgomery, I think the student body will enjoy a fun story about becoming a super hero or vigilante considering all the new books and movies coming out when this is published.”

She smiled at you and sent you off your way, the school was now partially empty and the creative writing club was spending time after school to put together the first edition of the newspaper.

You had an entire week of Christmas break to write and let your creativity flow free. The snow fell as you made your way home and it gave you a child like joy, so you made a wish.

If there is a high power somewhere in the universe, I want my story to come alive this Christmas so I have something wonderful to publish on the newspaper.

After arriving home and eating dinner you decided to develop your characters. Research was important for making well written characters so you spent the next few hours writing and reading about different powers and superhero’s across the multi verse. You stumbled upon a series that sparked your inspiration like no other.

My Hero Academia

In this series 80% of the world is born with super powers that they call quirks, and they have high schools specifically meant to create future hero’s. The main character reminded you of yourself, born without powers but way more ambitious than anyone else.

Y/N are you coming?

Huh where?

Your eyes opened, when did you fall asleep? I was just watching the newest episode of My Hero and-

“ Y/N are you dressed we’re going to training soon!”

“ Yeah be right there”

Mother sounds weird, and what training is she talking about?

Taking a look around this wasn’t your room at all, it was like you were in a customized hotel suite with everything personalized to your liking. Looking at your clothes you were in some kind of costume as well. You weren’t home and nothing was making sense, was that even your mother calling you just now? You grabbed your phone and headed to the door clasping onto the knob without opening. Voices could be heard outside it sounded like there was a bunch of people in front of your door.

You opened it and were met face to face with the meanest mug. “ Bakugo?”

“ Let’s go you’ve been locked away since last night I was gonna barge in and drag you out myself ”

“ What? ”

“ Are you thick let’s go ” he angrily grabbed your hand and all but dragged you down the hall as the others followed. Everything looked exactly how it did in the show, you were amazed was this some type of Lucid dream?

“ Why do you look like that?”

“ Huh? I look like what”

“ Like you’ve never been here should I get you medicine or something ” Bakugo’s kindness surprised you a great deal be was standoffish even with his friends for the most part.

“ Bakugo why-”

“ Again with Bakugo? What happened to Tsuki?” He whispered turning away from you with a reddened ears.

Oh?

“ Yeah my fault… Tsuki”

When you were all at the training arena it was as if using a quirk was second nature to you. You felt like you were truly super human, like you were finally alive. The second part of training you were paired off into teams, you were paired with Bakugo which gives you the chance to figure out the extent of your relationship.

Walking down the hall together yiu we’re thinking of a way to bring anything up without giving away the fact that you really have no clue what is going on when you noticed him looking over his shoulder every few second.

“ What are you looking at?”

You looked over your shoulder to find no one just the regular UA halls. Turning to him he was starring at you intensely, was he angry? He licked his lips and placed his hands on your hips pulling you close.

Okay now I get it.

“ You looked great earlier, I told you training with me would help. Can I get my promised reward?”

“ Reward?” Your hands felt clammy and your cheeks were hot. What did he want as a reward..

“ yes, a kiss? I missed you yesterday you started acting strange when everyone was watching a movie.”

“ O-oh yeah no don’t worry I’m fine must’ve been a headache Yanno?” He smiled softly and his hands wondered further making you Yelp.

You were now inches apart and your hands glided to his face. You’ve kissed people before but something about these red eyes made you so nervous. You closed your eyes and connected, his lips were so soft why did everything just feel right here.

“ Sorry to interrupt you two but the arena is waiting”

I was inspired by another story I’m working on and I think a regular Isekai to step away from the Yandere for a bit !

Can you elaborate on that point (I agree btw) that female characters are disliked when they are sweet?

I feel like it's such a nuanced problem, but ESPECIALLY in the superhero medium.

I can't explain how intolerable people are to women when they're being snarky.

We can't really be the first ones in the room who can make a mean joke, or God forbid, simply have moments when we act like assholes. Which is one of the default human settings.

And I'm not trying to absorb consequence from assholeish behavior, either! Being mean doesn't make someone interesting, or funny, or slightly more unique than the next mean person.

Not if it's hallow meanness and that's their whole trait.

But with women? Being mean is, majorly to men, the worst thing you can possibly be. Being sweet and docile is what was expected of us. What was demanded of us, really.

And I feel like making our female characters, and making OURSELVES into the meanest version we can possibly be, started out as a sign of defiance. And defiance will never, ever, EVER be a bad thing.

But to me? The moment you villainize sweetness and kindness is the moment it becomes an issue. There's a very specific kind of hatred rooted in despising kindness within female characters.

" She's not interesting" " she's a dormant " " she's weak"

And then you look at that female character, and realize there's a complexity to her that no one wants to explore because she's " not mean enough."

It's especially jarring to me when we label a female character as weak simply for not...Acting like an asshole. There's also the misconception that the more brutal a female character gets, the more interesting she is.

I don't think that. If there's no foundation, there's nothing to build. You didn't make her interesting. You just made her violent.

Take Starfire for example. Bullied by her sister her whole life. Used as a political pawn by said sister who sold her into slavery. Home planet destroyed. Lost her family.

And what does she do with that? She chooses to stay kind.

Holy shit. Holy shit. The amount of strength it takes to protect your humanity. The amount of strength it takes to refuse to have your faith shaken. And she's powerful as fuck.

It's not only because she's a woman, but because we associate hardening yourself and abandoning kindness and warmth as strength. We associate brutality with power.

Is it a golden standard to expect from individuals with trauma? Of course not.

But it's also not an impossible standard to meet. Being sweet and decent isn't a golden goal. It's literally just the bear minimum.

I'll give Bruce as an example next. He deals with trauma in an unhealthy manner. He's violent. He's aggressive. He's judgemental. He's paranoid. He doesn't trust anyone.

And he's unbelievably kind.

He's literally DC's most compassionate character.

The world wanted him to be a hardened, pain fueled abuser who practices cruelty. And he told it no.

To me at least, that's always, always, ALWAYS going to be more meaningful and powerful than just creating another superpowered asshole.

Before you write superheroes, write people first.

My 10 Favorite DreamWorks Movies

When I first joined Tumblr one of the first few posts I made was a "Best of DreamWorks" where I just pasted a bunch of images from the movies I liked the most.

After seeing the new Puss In Boots movie and seeing all the love it's been getting I thought it would be nice to revisit the list, but this time actually talking about why I like these movies so much.

Just wanna say real quick, If you're coming here wondering if "Shark Tale" will be on the top 5 and how I'm gonna defend my case about it, you lower these expectations right now. This is gonna be a super boring list. My favorites are everyone's favorites.

The only thing I can bring up is why I myself like them, and hopefully, I can bring up unique enough reasons for it. I've always been a fan of this company, mostly because I really respect how many risks they take with the premises of their stories.

I always like to believe that there is no such thing as a bad idea, only a bad execution, and DreamWorks proves that by never being afraid of giving a chance to the weirdest of ideas, and when the execution pays off, it pays off greatly!

So which ideas did I feel were executed the best?

10 . The Bad Guys

First things, first. "Good Tonight" is a freaking awesome song and everyone should give it a listen.

The idea of bad guys is "what if we tried to make the meanest-looking animals that people are familiar with into the heroes of our story?"

Animals like snakes, sharks, spiders, and so on, things that are known for being very dangerous and scary, but placed into the roles of bandits that go on heists while running away from the police.

I always call this the "Not Sly Cooper" movie, because that's exactly what I feel a Sly Cooper movie would be like. Tons of animal-acting-like-human jokes, fun cartoonish heists and car chases, and some nice morals about what it means to be a thief and what it means to be a hero.

Bad Guys is a very charming movie. The characters are all likable, many of the jokes are funny, and the way the movie looks with its blend of 2D and 3D is just amazing. The scene where they are escaping from prison with the help of a "mysterious ninja" being my favorite part.

The only problem I have is that I feel having both a shark and a piranha in the cast was kinda redundant. I would have replaced the piranha with a bat so they would have a scary flying animal instead of two scary water animals. Plus, imagining a bat singing "Good Tonight" just feels like a funnier visual to me.

9. Megamind

"Presentation!!"

The idea for Megamind is rather simple, show what happens when the villain does beat the hero.

I feel like this movie did a good job showing how the fun of working hard can sometimes feel more rewarding than the fun of actually winning, kinda sending a sweet message about the futility of cheating.

I also like how over-the-top Megamind himself is with how he treats all his evil actions as some grand spectacle. Doesn't matter if he's winning or losing, this dude always looks like he's having a lot of fun treating these hero vs villain battles as some sort of playtime with his best friend.

You're basically watching a kid's imagination of what these fights would look like from someone who grew up watching way too many cartoons. Tons of cheesy one-liners, tons of dramatic speeches, tons of last-second twists, and of course, tons of big explosive action.

And it's also fun seeing Megamind's fantasy of what a hero vs villain scenario looks like slowly dying once he meets Titan and how differently he treats this whole thing compared to MetroMan.

The one problem I had was the way the character of Roxane was treated. It felt like they were trying to make her more than just "the girlfriend" and give her more depth, but in the end, her biggest role in the climax was still needing to be saved and serving as emotional support for the main character. Also, the way she was basically catfished by Megamind always made me very uncomfortable, especially when thinking that kids might be watching this and learning from this.

It wasn't too awful, but I felt they could have done more with her.

8. Spirit

"What if we made a movie about the adventures of a horse?"

This one is kinda hard to describe why I like it. I think the reason is that it feels... How do I put it... Honest? Real? Genuine?

Whenever Spirit goes through an emotion it always feels earned. When he's sad, you're sad, when he's angry, you're angry, and when he's celebrating after succeeding in a daring escape, you want to celebrate too.

This movie to me just did a great job at making me feel what this horse was feeling, and most of it with the use of very minimal words.

I loved Spirit, loved his chemistry with the villain, loved the sense of speed whenever he is running through the fields or avoiding the cowboys... and most of all, loved the joy you get whenever you feel free.

It's not that this gives you a great sense of freedom, its that it gives you a desire to fight for freedom! It makes you feel you can be more, and do more and have the right to reject being tied down by others who want to limit your true potential and control you.

This movie makes you want to be free.

7. The Road to El Dorado

Do I even need to say anything besides the fact that this movie has Chel in it?

But for real, I think this movie was my introduction to the Maya, Inca, and Azteca culture, (I think my closest only other option at the time was "Mucha Lucha" of all things...), and they make this culture look fun and cool.

The architecture looked nice, the clothing looked nice, the people were so likable, and anytime they party you just want to party as well. I kept waiting for some big reveal to happen for the citizens to turn on the heroes, but they never do, and that was so refreshing, just showing people from different areas becoming friends AND staying friends.

I also love how funny Miguel and Tulio are, I was a kid when I first saw this so I was weirded out by the idea of two adults as the leads but I was sold on them very quickly. Even their horse was likable. everyone is just so likable in this movie. It makes you want to visit El Dorado and hang out with all these people.

Such a charming, funny, and friendly movie.

Also Chel. Chel was a big selling point.

6. Puss in Boots, the Last Wish

I already talked about this one over here, but, long story short, like many other movies on this list, I love how good this movie is at sucking you into the mood.

The way the visuals, the story, the dialogue, and the characters work together really succeed into making you feel what these people are feeling and making want to see more of them.

Didn't matter if it was the heroes, the villains, the antagonists, or what, I was 100% behind everyone's motivations and I couldn't wait to see all their goals clashing with each others'.

Also, the wolf is by far one of DreamWork's best antagonists, right up there with Shen and Ramses. He looks cool, talks cool, and even his motivation was cool.

This wasn't just a movie, this was an experience.

5. Shrek 2

I freaking dare anyone going into this movie blind to predict what the climax is going to be.

The weird idea of this one is that Shrek after marrying his wife needs to meet her parents... And that's it. It's just one long and uncomfortable reunion with people who really don't want to be on the same room together and all the things they try to pull of to make or break this relationship.

Hire assassins, request help from magic fairies, fake your appearance, steal a potion, it's all about seeing how far everyone is willing to go to do what they think it's the best for those they love.

It all turns into a glorious and creative mess and I can't help but love every second of it!

(Side note, anyone ever notices how often DreamWorks sequels focus on the idea of characters dealing with their parents?)

4. Kung Fu Panda 2

If it wasn't for Prince of Egyp, I would say that this was the hardest and darkest DreamWorks movie.

There is so much focus on feeling lost, feeling abandoned, feeling hopeless and betrayed, and just trying to understand what you're doing wrong and what you need to do right.

This movie was like a therapy session... Done with talking cartoon animals, yes, but a therapy session no less.

The themes of trying to understand yourself, where you came from, and where you want to go are all handled greatly as you watch the relationship between the hero and the villain.

Po and Shen have such an absurdly great chemistry. I love seeing them talking, fighting, and trying to one-up each other, and I really love how much their relationship changes the more they learn about each other, and it all happens so fast and so smoothly too.

It makes me angry whenever I see a movie and the hero and the villain barely talk with each other. That's one of the best things you can do with them! Why are you skipping it??

Luckily this one didn't, and in return, we got one of the best interactions ever. I love these two by themselves and love these to together. Just a pair of wonderful characters that work really well off each other!

3. The Prince of Egypt

Man... What do I even say about this one?

It's probably the riskiest idea DreamWorks has ever tried to do, tell the story of Exodus as an animated musical... And that was their second movie ever after freaking "Antz!" These guys have a lot of guts.

This was a movie that I didn't really get it when I saw it as a kid, but I just love trying to understand its themes and messages now that I'm older.

I love the main conflict between the brothers, again, bringing attention to how good a story can be when you focus on the connection of the hero and the villain. Showing both sides of people who grew up under an unhealthy ideology, one trying to grow out of it and the other trying to embrace it even more.

I love the imagery of Egypt, both as this grand epic kingdom built from the struggle and pain of the slaves and as this falling empire being attacked by God Himself. The visuals of the plagues being my favorites.

And I love the sense of calmness that appears whenever the chaos takes a break. Seeing Moses and his people getting out from the ocean and enjoying the dawn of a new era after all the struggle they went through just felt so rewarding. It's just such a satisfying ending for such a long journey... As long as you decide to stop there and don't look up what happens in the rest of the story.

I especially love the concept of Ramses, A person so deep into the teachings of his father that he can't even see why the things he's doing are so bad. I think my favorite part is when he's hugging his son while glaring at Moses and just asking "Why?" while he has this GIANT WALL SHOWING BABIES BEING FEED TO CROCODILES right behind him.

It's such an amazingly blind irony as the man cries for his kid's safety while the crying of all these dead kids looms over his shoulder. Just how do you have to be raised to turn into this kind of person?

It's so baffling but I just can't stop watching and wondering how far is this man willing to go. Such a sad showing of someone who doesn't see he's on the wrong side and trying to fight against the tides.

It's a beautifully sad, and yet hopeful movie.

2. Kung Fu Panda

Yeah, I put Kung Fu Panda above Prince of Egypt... I don't know what's wrong with me either. I don't know, for some reason, I just have a lot of respect for this movie? Prince of Egypt I liked a lot but I couldn't really fully understand it and enjoy it until I was much older. Meanwhile, even when young I could already enjoy Kung Fu Panda a lot.

It felt like it had a bigger challenge by being a good, deep movie while also being fun, funny, and cheerful.

It's easy to make dark stories have strong messages and depth, but it's hard to have no-so-dark stories also have strong messages and depth, and I have such an appreciation for that. They could have just made this a lame joke-fest about being an overweight character trying to learn martial arts, but they didn't!

They put a lot of effort into the lessons, the fighting, the motivations of the characters, the visuals, and even the jokes! I thought the jokes were going to be awful but they were all very charming!

I love the designs of the cast in how they each represent a level of kung-fu, AND, I love the Kung-fu itself.

I feel like this is the Kung Fu Panda movie that tries the most to be creative with combining martial arts in a cartoon setting. Like... I like Kung Fu Panda 2 and 3 but I don't really remember much of the action there aside from the stuff in climaxes with the "water dodgeball" section and the "giant energy dragon avatar in the spiritual realm" section.

But in here? I remember the bridge fight, the prison escape, the master vs student showdown, the hot-potato game with the scroll, and even the training sessions with Po and the five.

I feel like as the movies went on they focused more on the spiritual journey of self-discovery and toned down the cartoon action, while in here it's just perfect.

It's amazing how many elements this movie is trying to balance while still pulling it off each of them so well.

I just wished that Po and Tai-Lung had more scenes of interaction because they basically feel like strangers in the end even though the whole movie is building up to their fight... A fight that... Really doesn't feel as good as all the action that came before to be honest.

But still, that's just one small little problem in what's otherwise a perfect product. Besides... KFP2 covers the whole Hero vs Villain thing that was lacking in here by more than making up for it, so it's all good. 1. How To Train Your Dragon

Of course my favorite DeamWorks movie is the one with the dragon. I freaking love dragons! I have a comic based on people that become dragons for crying out loud!

Kidding aside, this is a movie with a message that I just respect a lot. I really appreciate the idea of teaching kids the importance of knowing how to stop, looking at what you're doing, trying to understand who you're hurting, and what you can do to change.

This isn't just something that holds value to kids, this holds value to everyone. We are always so focused on going after the things we want that we tend to forget the people we're sometimes stepping on to get there, and this movie shows that not only do we not lose anything for trying to be friends with these people, but we might even gain something even better.

I just adore the friendship of Hiccup and Toothless (God, I love these names).

One is a kid trying to make his father proud by following the family legacy, while also trying to do what he loves by studying and befriending dragons and the conflicts that come from trying to please both sides. This is such a great lesson for kids because they're always stuck into deciding on what's best for them and what's best for what their parents want from them.

And the other side is a pet slowly lowering his defenses and deciding if he wants to trust this weird stranger that tried to hurt him or give him a second chance to prove himself as a possible ally. What do you do? Put yourself at risk and give others a chance or remain safe and away from possible harm?

This movie reminds me a lot of Lake in that if you keep looking at it you can take away twenty different lessons and themes to talk about.

Again, it's the challenge of trying to be deep while avoiding being too dark and remaining all-ages-friendly.

Kids are gonna watch this, they're gonna love the dragons and the flying scenes, and they're gonna come back years later and pick up things they didn't see were there before and later realize that without noticing it, these lessons became a part of them and a part of what they do.

You can feel that there is a lot of love in this movie. I remember watching the commentary and looking at how the creators always would get excited when there was a silent scene or a world-building scene. It's clear they had a lot of fun working on this product, and this love really can be felt through the characters, their growth, and their emotions.

I freaking adore this movie, and I freaking adore DreamWorks!

A but of an inconclusive rant that makes more sense in my head.

“Humanization” seems to have become a synonim for “adding positive/likeable traits to a character”...

But it’s not necessarily that?

For example, when I write Hector, I add more negative traits to him. I wrote him being mean to Isaac, aiming at his insecurities when he’s fed up with him. I wrote him being condescending to Rosaly, looking down on her for being too pious for him (he gets better lol). I wrote him having zero empathy for humans at first, not even understanding the concept that children are supposedly innocent. I emphasized how self-centered his heel face turn started out. I keep repeating that I'd love to see more of the coldhearted General Hector who committed war crimes in the name of a genocidial Dark Lord. And I even praised two parts of N!Hector: the fact that he himself burned his own parents, unlike in canon where the animals/demons did it for him, and the fact that he saw humans as animals to be culled, but without a hint of resentment, almost out of innocent pity.

Isn’t that humanization too? Isn’t that fleshing out a character? Or does it count only when it’s time to give an unrepentant manchild of a villain sudden fatherly emotions?

Speaking of Eggman, you know what also counts as humanizing him for me?

Eggman loves amusement parks and circuses. There is no deeper reason for it, no secret childhood trauma. He enjoys creating colorful places and if they can be used to exercise control, all the better. It’s his unique way to shape the world. It’s a character trait that he doesn’t need, but he has it, and it fleshes him out.

And you know what else humanizes him? The Egg Memo where he complains that Maria stole the spotlight from him because she dared to be ill and be killed. He’s jealous and selfish and insensitive and constantly seeking attention - aren’t those human traits too? Can’t they be relatable too, as much as we wouldn’t like to admit it?

Another villain who got humanized in a negative way is Isaac in the MF manga. Once again, I link to my analysis of that scene (bottom of the post) where he killed his own underlings because he wanted to disobey Dracula’s direct orders, all while thinking of himself as his most loyal servant, in a brilliant display of hypocrisy and denial that IMO makes him even more interesting. From the same manga, I also am still not over that one page where he shows fear over being approached by his caretaker (?): however you interpret it, whether it’s a reaction to nearly dying, to losing his master and home, or to being betrayed by Hector, this is a human reaction, albeit a negative one.

On the flip side, what about Sonic? Does Sonic need to be humanized by making him more of a jerk? Or, god forbid, by adding a completely unnecessary moral “dilemma”? Or is the fact that this speedster actually loves sitting down and reading books enough to give him more depth? Or the fact that he loves nature, or the fact that he is both empathetic and has a noticeable ego that sometimes gets him into trouble? I think it is. Sonic is a simple character at his core, but he has so many cute quirks that he ends up being both an inspiration, which is what he’s meant to be, and endearing :)

“Humanization” means writing a character in such a way that they’d feel human, like people you could meet in real life. It doesn’t mean “adding more palatable traits”. Humans are not inherently good, nor they are inherently evil, they are simply complex. You can write the meanest bastard in the world, you can write the goodiest hero with the most unshakeable heart, and if you add extra traits like tastes or quirks, and if you can make them fit with their core characterization, that counts as writing them as human.

I wonder what all the other villains who haven't shown up yet on Batman Beyond like Freeze or Bane are up to. Here are my best guesses:

Scarecrow is dead. I don't think you get to grow old as a mad chemist. Sooner or later he'll blow his own lab up.

Riddler is wealthy, successful, and bored out of his skull.

Catwoman is probably fine, maybe doing endorsements for the Gotham SPCA. The shipper in me is sad she didn't end up with Bruce, but the DCAU always played their relationship as tragic.

The Mad Hatter might have actually gotten some help from treatment, and hosts tea parties at the retirement home that are only slightly mind-controlled.

Killer Croc probably can't go back to being "the meanest guy on the wrestling federation" but maybe he's someone's manager and always shows up to yell scary things in their promos. Either that or he retired to the zoo.

Poison Ivy has probably taken over a national park and is worshiped as a goddess by the surrounding towns.

HELLOWEEN #27 ANGLINE

-ANGLINE is a Hunter-Gaoler of Hell with and the arrests of 128 bounties above castle-worth and 56 prison-worth of individuals. She can locate any individual if given a scrap of their personal possessions and summon them to the caster, produce chains unbreakable and hooks irresistable to catch those opposing the summoner, call upon the magics of earth, metal, water and phosphorus, and tell the secrets of 66 infamous nobles of Hell and 5 of the Council of Satans.

She appears as a gargantuan woman with the head of a devil-fish and two great hooks for arms, with a tail tipped with a human hand. She speaks in a soft and gentle voice and will uphold all contracts given, but will require you to do likewise on punishment of retrieval.-

...To inform those who might be familiar, "above castle-worth" is the popular term in hell fir the highest class of bounty, so 128 retrieved is a very formidable number indeed (though it may actually be less than she currently has). 

Also, "any" individual seems to be perhaps a slight exaggeration, though an understandable one for a mortal with inherently limited experience, though it is interesting he appears to know of the Council of Satans. Perhaps another piece of evidence for my hypothesis upon his origins.

She was indeed quite polite, although I suspect the hooked chains decorating her ceiling would have torn me to tatters had she suspected me as a threat, but I will confess, her profile was... intimidating, as indicated by the size identifier. And the subject in question I utilized for that comparison, Giobella, is already approximately seven human feet tall, so that in itself may not have been the best identifier.

though, the reason I used her is because there were multiple framed portraits of her across the wall. Some in very... dubious poses and various states of undress. When I asked where she had acquired them, she told me that she had painted them herself. It turns out an octopus face and a hand-tail are perfectly cromulent for painting.

I, perhaps against my better judgement but relating to another piece of evidence, decided to press her a little on her relationship. She at first stated that they were colleagues, then colleagues-with-benefits, then the allegedly forbidden truth... they were in love. 

I am slightly surprised I wasn't torn to pieces before then, I suppose one needs to be slightly foolhardy to gain the truth. Though, this truth was not a secret because two feminine-presenting demons were involved in the way one might expect, but rather because it was of love rather than of lust or convenience or cynical maneuvering.

Love is perhaps one of the few great sins in Hell, so those who love speak it in hushed voices and secret notes. But, I am getting ahead of myself. 

She spoke of her triumphs, of relishing in the destruction of her foes, of bringing them upon their knees, seeing them driven before the courts of Hell and hearing the lamentations of their untouchable masters, and became particularly enthused at the descriptions of their begging, pleading; of the reduction of Hell's greatest villains to Hell's meanest cowards...

...But she also spoke extensively of regrets. Of those that did not deserve their fate, of those that had done what she thought was right but she was forced to bring in by contract, of those demons and souls seeking redemption she had sent clawing back to their untouchable masters.

Perhaps that is why, when I told her that Giobella told me to ask her about the Sign of Lillim, she answered, albeit in surreptuously broad strokes

She stated that there are forces in Hell who hate the machine of pain that it has become, that the rebellion aeons ago is now an endless tyranny, and have stumbled upon a truth: Demons do not need pain to exist. Any emotion will do, as long as it is strong enough. 

The succubi, in their precariat position in Hell's hierarchy, were one of the first to discover this, the oldest amongst them the very first. But, trapped in the webs of Hell's hiearchy, all they can do is wait, plan, and unite. For now. 

As I was about to leave, she stated "By the by, Giobella knows about the thing with Macaritaville." Apparently she said, to quote, "Very clever, don't do it again... but thank you for the potential ally."

Did somebody say greater-scope lore?! Cause I sure did!

I will say, the inspriation for her was wanting to create a "stalker" sort of demon, because that feels like a prominent demonic archetype in media I needed a member of, taking a bit from Hellraiser's chain stuff because well; it kinda fit. 

In particular I was inspired by the Stalkers in the D20 game Infernum, at least in their lanky physique and probably that one that mutated a wholeass tortrure rack on his back. Anyone here read Infernum? The system's jank, but it's a great setting, and if I ever did that PD-buyback org (Which god I need to write a manifesto for it) that IP would be one of my first targets for purchase.

THIS GIRL CANNOT STOP HERSELF FROM LYING MANIPULATING ETC. Her two main character traits are 1) is a fantastic liar and 2) has to be in control. This is excellent bc she is best friends with the Doctor, famous for being a lying manipulating gaslighter and they are always trying to control each other. There’s a recurring bit where they tell each other “Do as you’re told,” and at one point the villain describes them as “the control freak (Clara) and the man who should never be controlled.” At one point she attempts to steal every single TARDIS key the Doctor owns in an effort to blackmail him into bringing her boyfriend back to life. At another point, when the Doctor is talking about mindwiping her without her consent, she grabs the mindwiping device and changes the controls so it will mindwipe him instead (that’s what we call gaslighting!)

ypu have to vote clara because she is absolutely insane about this she's also literally so important to teh universe that her death not happening was ripping it apart she tore herself into thousands of little pieces (splinters of herself all throughout the timeline) in order to save the doctor repeatedly She had a normal guy as a boyfriend and she was metaphorically cheating on him the entire time with the doctor i love her she snuck her boyfriend onto the tardis to prove to him that she wasn't lying to him then immediately the doctor started talking about all of the things they do behind her bf's back
