Moon Boys as Subject Teachers
Tumblr media
Warnings: None that I know of
Author’s Snip: This was inspired by @ominoose's post for Oscar Issac characters as school subjects teachers so shoutout to them for the inspo.
I’ll shut up now. Enjoy! And don’t be afraid to request.
Tumblr media
Steven Grant - History & English/Literature
A bit of an obvious choice but there's a reason
Steven 100% is a favorite amongst the students
He actually makes learning history and reading fun for them because he talks so enthusiastically about everything in each unit and finds ways to let the kids engage in what's happening
He tries his best to personalize the lessons with either making a worksheet for it to help the kids take in the knowledge or make a slide show for demonstration and visualizing what's being said
His slideshows are actually very iconic because he makes sure they look nice so that the kids will pay attention to them. He has an occasional outdated meme but you know what he's trying and the kids know that
Steven's classroom is also very decorated with both posters that he bought or ones made by students (matter of fact poster making is an extra credit thing if you need it)
He's very attentive to his students and believes that it's crucial for teaching. If a student is struggling then he gladly helps them and works on finding a way to help them learn the lessons in their own way, and if they need to spend some time after school then he'd be happy to stay and see what they need
Steven hates having to be strict and disciplinary but if he needs to then he will.
If a kid misses an assignment's deadline it's okay as long as they give him a heads-up and they turn it in before a unit is done or something. But if someone is actively not doing their homework or assigned work then he will have a talk with them and give them detention if need be and make them do that work
As for troublemakers who disrupt the class he does the whole politely telling them to quiet down or stop, to telling them more sternly, to standing outside till he tells them to come back in, and then the final strike is sending them to the office
On a lighter note, Steven is definitely the kind of teacher to let students eat in his classroom during lunch as long as they don't make a mess and clean after themselves and actually uses that to get to know the kids outside of the lessons
I firmly believe that Steven has talked to the school about creating a book club of some kind so that kids can be in an environment that treats reading as an activity you can do rather than something you NEED to do and sort of does the same with his literature and english students
For example, my senior year English teacher had us do fifteen minute reading time at the beginning of class each day with a book we checked out at the library. I feel like he'd do something like that
But anyway, yeah, he's definitely petitioned to have a book club or some other club similar to that
Marc Spector - Math
I actually see him being more of a student counselor but I just get this weird sense that if I had to pick a subject that he would teach then I'd say math like algebra, calculus, and geometry, for some reason
I don't know he just seems like he's good at math and would be fine with teaching it
His class, despite being a math class, isn't so bad.
Marc's one of those chill teachers who teaches what he needs to and lets the students do their own thing so long as it's not causing any trouble
The first half of class is him teaching the students a new formula, how to do it, how it applies to the world and stuff and then he writes some equations on the board for the students to solve on their own on a piece of paper that they give to him at the end of class just to confirm that they were listening
He's not an easy A exactly. He is when you actually try and listen though
Marc hardly has rules to be honest, they're basic as hell. His class rules are just "Pay attention, do your classwork and homework, yes you are allowed to use a calculator if you need/want to, yes they are allowed on tests, show your work on the sheet or a piece of paper as long as you write your name on it and staple it to the worksheet, don't cheat on your tests, and don't disrupt the class"
He's also very lenient on things. You can listen to music while you work so long as he isn't actively teaching. You can chew gum so long as you aren't chewing or blowing it loudly and sticking it on the desks. You can freely talk to your friends and classmates as long as you aren't bugging them, being loud, or doing it while he is teaching.
Due to the free talking he knows all the gossip around school simply because the kids will be talking about it while they work
He says he doesn't care/isn't into gossip but he secretly moves the kids who gossip toward his desk so that he can hear it while he works at his desk when he changes up the seating chart every once in a while
On top of that he gets to know his students because he will walk around the classroom to stretch his legs and will start small talk with the kids that sometimes leads to full conversations
Marc is very no-nonsense or slacking off though. If a kid is not doing their work then he tells them to start doing it or else they'll need to do it at home along with their homework if they don't get it done at the end of class. As for troublemakers, he just sends them out or to the office since he's learned that more want the attention
Jake Lockley - PE
I know a lot of people say that Jake would be a Spanish/foreign language teacher, and I can see that, but to me, this man gives off PE teacher energy (in a good way)
Jake is sort of the tough love kind of PE teacher that still makes the kids do the activities but he's not cruel
He also doesn't just stand there. If he can he will do the exercises with the kids so that they don't try and be a smart ass with him. He will run the mile with the kids but stays behind so that no one can walk it while he's not looking. It also helps boost the confidence of the kids who don't run as fast and fall behind by being there and praising them for keeping it going
"You're going great. It's about being active not pushing yourself."
If a student feels sick or is on their period and having cramps he'll ask how bad it is and depending on how severe it is he'll let them sit out on that day if it's bad or walk a few laps around the track if they can. "Just as long as you're doing something, okay?"
He's not an idiot though. If they use the sick or period card too many times and it doesn't add up then he calls them out and tells them to do the activity
"Matter of fact, do double because you think I'm stupid."
Jake also isn't oblivious to the fact that he's "the hot teacher" that the female teachers and students blush and giggle at. Of course, he doesn't do anything about either because it's unprofessional and one is a literal crime
But he's not dumb. He knows that some teachers check him out while he's running and exercising with the kids outside
Jake is a part of after-school/extracurricular programs too.
He's definitely a coach for one of the school's sports teams, he finds it to be a great way to give kids something to do after school instead of running around and possibly causing trouble. Jake also likes seeing the kids who've got something going for them and encourages them to do something with it
He also loves seeing all the other clubs and extracurriculars too and is so supportive.
Cheer and dance team going to a competition? Knock 'em dead!
Theatre doing a production? He's buying a ticket and encourages his students and players to go if they can.
Speech and Debate off to a tournament? The other schools have no idea what's coming.
He's sending his love to all of them

shoutout to the church camp counselor in middle school who asked me very seriously "did somebody do something to you?" after I came into the worship service crying and didn't want to tell her why.
I was actually just consumed with moral guilt over having (maybe?) cheated in a ball game I played earlier that evening and was convinced I had to tell my parents my Great Sins but I'm glad she was prepared for more than my 13yo anxiety nonsense 💀

i just got a fun flashback so shoutout to the school counselor in my high school whose solution to "student is breaking down sobbing in math class daily while flunking out of what for others is a normal freshman math class as a senior" (this school taught New Math. I'd never in my life encountered it, and couldn't wrap my head around it no matter what I tried. Every attempt to get extra help from the teacher was useless because he literally blew me off every day he told me to stay late for help.) was.... to sit me down and tell me I could come cry in his office instead if I wanted.
same dickhead a year later told me, with the principal, that it was better for me to just drop out and stop wasting everyone's time because I "obviously didn't care enough" about my education.
If they even cared: I was at the end of my mother's life, with no help, no other parent left, after years of ongoing abuse and trauma. I was absolutely fucking falling apart from the inside and needed severe help, but all that happened was grinding in the message that Adults Can't Be Trusted and Teachers Can't Be Trusted.
I'm in college now and I still struggle to ask teachers for help because I'm terrified it'll just blow up in my face again.

Hey so I want to give a shoutout to a very good friend of mine, who's done some fantastic artworks for me on twitter. Her username is InkWeaver01, and she has commissions currently open. Link She'll generally do anything you'd have in mind, without it being NSFW of course.
If you'd like some examples of what her art looks like, here are a couple of commissions she's done for me in the past.

The Themes of Ringo Ishikawa
It was only a few years ago, during a Nintendo Indie Game Showcase, that I learned of the existence of a game called The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa. It looked interesting and I was still going through a bit of a high with my foray into the Yakuza series. A Story about Japanese Delinquents set in what appears to be the late 1980s-early 1990s, a story about a group of delinquents and what the world might have in store for them. It was part Beat 'em up, part Sandbox, with a little bit of Life Sim thrown in.
Your Secrets
The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa, at its core, is a story about growing up and being at a crossroads when certain chapters of life are coming to a close. Whether it's the prospect of Graduating High School or perhaps maybe something else entirely, we've all experienced this feeling of uncertainty, feeling that the winds of change are blowing in the air. Ringo's story is no different.
A year ago, delinquent Ringo Ishikawa and his friends Ken Nakamura, Masaru Takahashi, Shiro Abe and Goro Yamaguchi, took a train ride into enemy territory and fought off a gang from Northern High, headed by another delinquent named Nakazawa. Ringo's gang seemed pretty happy in the aftermath, optimistic that they'd be leaving their marks on history and legacies for their high school in hopes that future delinquents would look up to them. In the present day, circumstances appear to have changed as the gang face the last year of their high school careers, with one last autumn to enjoy before it's time to call it quits. After a meeting with the guidance counselor, Machida, Ringo is left with the task of trying to figure out what exactly he wants in life moving forward.
Now, gameplay-wise, it's up to the Player in what Ringo will do - whether it's improving his grades and trying to be a straight A student, or perhaps skipping a few days to go work a part time job at a local video store. Maybe even hit up the book store and the school library and get some books to read. Or quite simply, just gather up the gang and go for a romp around town, playing games and picking fights with rival delinquents until the day's over. Narratively speaking, The story plays out over the span of a month and a lot happens within that time frame and at specific areas. People change, interests change, and many events unfold. I won't spoil the entire plot, as I feel it's best to experience the game by one's self.
Mr. Monster Man
In a matter of themes and how the game carries them, there's certainly a few of them and ways to look at them, even how they might be embodied. Whether it's Idealism and Cynicism, Existentialism, or even say the theme of Change.
Now before we get into the ways they're embodied, it's worth giving some explanation as to what Idealism, Cynicism and Existentialism all mean. The world of Philosophy has had many brilliant men and women enter it, and generally a lot of those bright thinkers have also changed the world of Philosophy by introducing new concepts and ways of thinking. Ways of seeing the world and trying to seek out unknown answers to questions of the world. Admittedly, I cannot give more in depth explanations for Idealism and Cynicism, but I can provide for Existentialism.
Idealism is given two specific definitions: 1. The practice of forming or pursuing ideals, especially unrealistically. 2. Any various systems of thought in which the objects of knowledge are held to be in some way dependent on the activity of mind.
Cynicism is defined as the following: An inclination to question whether something will happen or whether it is worthwhile. It is also an inclination to believe that people are motivated purely by self-interest.
For Existentialism, As I was taught in an ethics course I took: Existentialism is effectively an approach to life that roots itself in the idea that you control your life, nobody else can control it for you. Life is a process of becoming yourself. From the moment you're born to the day you die, you are both the artist and the canvas that you paint upon. The choices you make in life are the materials you use to paint your picture - In other words, you are able to decide what you want to do today, do tomorrow, and then you act on those decisions and thus reflect on the decisions made yesterday, made today and possibly reflect on the ones made tomorrow. Philosophers who have ties to Existentialism are Soren Kierkegaard (1813 - 1855), Friedrich Nietzche (1844 - 1900), Jean Paul Sartre (1905 - 1980), and Martin Buber (1878 - 1986).
North Country
With the philosophies of Idealism, Cynicism and Existentialism elaborated upon, it's now time to talk about how each theme is embodied.
Change - As mentioned prior, The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa is at its core a story about growing up and being at a crossroads. Change is merely either a symptom of them, or they're a symptom of it. To "grow up," is to Change certain things. If we're at a crossroads like the titular Ringo, we find ourselves struggling to Change or even struggling with Change. As the game's plot progresses, it becomes increasingly apparent just how much Ringo struggles with the idea that times are changing and that he might be struggling with the idea that even his friends are changing for better or in some cases, for worse.
Idealism - In the game's prologue, the entire group is idealistic... However, out of Ishikawa's group in the present, only a few of them embody the theme of Idealism. Those who do are Ringo, Shiro and Goro. Shiro and Goro's idealistic tendencies are geared toward their hobbies and relationships. Ringo himself is arguably the biggest embodiment of Idealism, as he follows the first given definition to a near detrimental degree as the plot unfolds. He firmly believes in his friends and will even do anything to help them out, which again ties into his struggle with the idea that they're changing as people as well.
Cynicism - The remainder of the group, Ken and Masaru, are the ones who embody the theme of Cynicism. Masaru doesn't really see himself having a bright future and thinks he's better off becoming a Yakuza. Ken, meanwhile, is the most cynical of the lot and thus the most critical of everyone. His delinquency only further drives his cynicism. Ultimately, the game itself also seems to lean toward a more cynical outlook given the focus on Delinquents in Japan.
Existentialism - Change is only just one of the core themes that The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa embodies. Existentialism is another major theme of the game. As outlined prior, you are able to decide on what you want to do today, what you might do tomorrow, and what you did yesterday. The game gives you freedom to do just that, to simply live a day in the shoes of Ringo Ishikawa. In a way this reinforces that feeling of being at a crossroads as well, given the freedom to do just about anything.
Counting Colors - Finishing Thoughts
The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa was a game that certainly resonated well with me. Well enough that I'm inclined to write this post about it. While I cannot say that I've lived a life similar to Ishikawa, I can say that I connected pretty well with the character. His friends in some ways also remind me of people I have personally known as well, in the ways they have conducted themselves and how some have behaved. The game's music is wonderful, they're all public domain songs as well, by various artists like ANITEK or Indian&Fox. In this post, I've linked a few of the tracks (Hence the titles like "Your Secrets" or "Mr. Monster Man").
I'd certainly recommend getting your hands on the game however possible, maybe you might find yourself enjoying it the way I did. While I won't go into specifics on how the game's ending unfolds, I will say it's up to interpretation on what happens afterward. Making this post has been on my mind a few days now, and I've always wanted to talk about the game in some capacity.
Thank you for reading through this post as well. I hope the impromptu philosophy lesson was at the very least entertaining. You can find The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa by Yeo on the following platforms: Steam ($14.99, can also come in a bundle for $26.98 with Yeo's other game: Arrest of a Stone Buddha) Nintendo E-Shop ($8.99 currently; otherwise it's $14.99) To my knowledge as well, Yeo is also developing a third game called Fading Afternoon. I'm looking forward to its eventual release, as I certainly enjoyed this game and Fading Afternoon happens to have similar visual aesthetics to that.

Character Profile: Amara
Tumblr media
Art Credits: NemuiDaysu on Twitter. (Thank you very much for this art, Nem!) (This is just a redo of a now deleted older post I made a couple years ago, now with better formatting an actual depth.)
The Invisible Princess of the 66th Universe - Amara
In the infinite expanses of the multiverse, there lies that of Universe 66. A Universe where the Saiyans never had their home world blown up or their race scattered across the cosmos. for 20 years In this universe, they’ve effectively conquered many worlds and see to subjugating the masses with their might. It didn’t matter who it was, they were little threat to the warrior race. However eventually, It was on Planet Earth that Their reign would come to an end, at the hands of a woman with no memories of her past, a pair of genetically enhanced siblings, a rebellious princess and a few others. There’s a lot more to that story, but this is not the place for it. This here is the woman who once lost her memories, a woman who was once the true Princess of the Saiyans. Her name is Amara, though she went under the identity of Samara during the period in which she suffered from Amnesia, which in turn was caused by being the lone survivor of a long, bloody battle that saw a close friend of hers passing away in her arms. The amnesia period lasted for six months and ended when her memories came flooding back in full force under similar circumstances. She’s 25 years old, clocks in at a height of 6′11 (8′11 in LSS), and has a cup size of J. Amara is described to be a stoic woman, notably very quiet and often coming off as disinterested or threatening due in part to her large frame, glowing emerald green eyes and imposing height. She doesn’t say much and her default expression seems neutral at best, frowning at worst. The truth is, deep down, she’s a gentle soul and very kind to most. She’s troubled, but she means well and loves animals, even adopting two as pets. She’s generally rather patient, but there are times when she shows signs of impatience, notably in regards to fights if the Opponent chooses to rant and monologue. It’s there she takes it as an opportunity to immediately start fighting.
The way Amara fights is primarily very grapple focused, preferring to get close and throw her opposition around, slam them and effectively toss them like ragdolls. A Full List of techniques/abilities she uses can be found here

Song Recommendation: Tides of War by Blind Guardian
Undoubtedly there are many Metal songs that I could wholeheartedly recommend for a multitude of purposes. This one however, I'm just recommending for the sake of it being really good.
Tides of War is a bonus track off of their album "Nightfall in Middle Earth," which is based on that of the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. More specifically it is from the 2018 re-release of the album.

Favorite Character Archetypes: The Wanderer
In my last post about character archetypes, I talked about Stoic Characters and why I think they're cool. Or at the very least I just rambled on about my favorite characters that fit the type, lmao.
So, here we are now, with another one. I'm going to start off by stating that these posts will now be titled "Favorite Character Archetypes: X Thing" since I feel it's more appropriate to do that than saying "One of my favorites." Now with that stated, let's talk about another one: The Wanderer. Also known as The Drifter, The Explorer, The Adventurer. In Some Cases, they're also The Fugitive.
What are some known traits about these characters? Effectively they're the people who're most likely bouncing from one place to another, to another, to another. Their reasons tend to vary as to why exactly, but generally it's because they want to/have to, because they want to fulfill some purpose in their lives. They can be seen as mysterious, sometimes even elusive. They're independent folk who keep to themselves and thus come off as anti-social at times, even if they do mean well. Ultimately, by the end of their respective stories, the Wanderer will have generally settled down and they will have their goals completed.
Examples of a Wanderer are as follows:
Kenshiro (Fist of the North Star)
Ryu (Street Fighter)
Link (The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask)
Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic Series)
The Doctor (Doctor Who)
Bruce Banner/The Incredible Hulk (Marvel Comics)
Each of these characters have their own general reasons for why they're always on the move, never stopping to settle down. Kenshiro travels the wastelands to not only just search for his fiancée, but for a myriad of other reasons as well. Ryu travels the world to seek out strong opponents and constantly improve himself until he feels confident in saying that he has truly become a master martial artist. The Hero of Time initially set out on a quest that transcended time to do battle with evil, but then he left Hyrule to look for his closest friend and ended up becoming intertwined in a battle to save the land of Termina from destruction, visiting its four regions and aiding the inhabitants of those regions. Sonic has quite humbly admitted that he's just a guy who loves adventure. Even if he's saved the day, he's already got a foot out the door and springing into the next adventure. The Doctor, across numerous incarnations, has managed to amass goodness knows how many allies and has traveled through all kinds of worlds, dimensions, timelines and more. (Admittedly I also never watched Doctor Who, so this knowledge is just from what I've read about the series; Other than that, I'm not that interested in it, sorry...) Bruce Banner is a fugitive, on the run from the Military (or other organizations) after being bombarded with Gamma Radiation and transforming into The Incredible Hulk. Though most appearances now have largely moved past this aspect or downplay it, it still formed the basis for a lot of storylines involving the character.
So Why do I like this archetype so much? Truthfully, I think it's a pretty cool type of character, one that leads into all kinds of possibilities for storytelling. There's a sense of mystery to these characters, wondering why they're always moving from one place to the next. There's a sense of urgency in some cases. Sometimes it's just pure fun to see what kind of scenarios they might get into next. Some writers might use a wanderer as an excuse to tell the story of the world around them. Others might use them as a central character and paint them as this mysterious rebel who's drifted into town and will end up shaking the foundations of everything while just trying to get on by.
Simply put, they're incredibly versatile and I'd honestly encourage coming up with a character like this. See what you can do with 'em, ask yourself what their motivations are, picture how they might look, what they're capable of, that kinda stuff.
If you've managed to read through to the end here, thank you for taking the time to do so. I honestly have a lot of fun just writing these types of posts in general.

Stranger Things 4
Don’t know what genius decided to have both Stranger Things and Obi-Wan premiere on the same day. But I’m gonna watch 2 episodes tonight.
I’ll try to do what I did for season 3 which is not write every 5 seconds (though I literally just did this for Obi-Wan) and instead write quick notes and fill in actual thoughts at the end of each episode.
But first I want to say I’m glad they put the warning about finding the opening scene distressing after the events in Texas. But Im now extra scared of what it will be.
Also I don’t think I ever said this, but let Will be ace.
Shoot watching this recap, I forgot how painful season 3 was. No no no I can’t take the stupid letter. That stupid letter had me sobbing so hard I was literally hitting my couch to try to get the pain out because crying wasn’t enough.
Chapter 1: The Hellfire Club.
Reminds me of the Eighth Doctor. Ok. Knowing the images of this scene are going to be upsetting, plus the ticking of the clock is making the anticipation become an anxiety attack. Papa seeming... loving... to the kids... is strange. I don’t like it. Yep ok. I see why there was a warning. I am glad they gave us a warning. I literally forgot Mike’s deadbeat dad existed. That zoom in on cheerleader had to have been important. She’s probably a main character. ANNE WITH AN E???? Was that Anne with an E? I didn’t watch that show but it looks like her. Good for her, get that Netflix money. Yessssss Lucas’ prime 80s flat top. Been waiting for that hairstyle to come in. Ok I have to agree with Lucas, basketball’s more important than D&D. Sorry. Only because basketball affects the whole school and D&D is just you guys. This scene of El is giving me speaking in class flashbacks and anxiety. A girl has a crush on Will. He’s not into it. Let Will be ace. When Chriss walked out of the counselor’s office, I called it that she’d be bulimic. WHAT THE HELL ARE THOSE FEET. Okay. I love Eddie. Oh my god. Eddie is so late 80s I adore it. It’s like he hopped out of 1986. Awww I want Steve in their D&D club though. Wait. THEY’RE GONNA GET MY GIRL ERICA AREN’T THEY Yes they are!!! I am so happy. Will giving Erica all his D&D stuff literally made me cry last season, both sad tears for Will but happy tears for Erica. I’m so glad they’re actually doing something with that. That was a very cute drug deal scene. And now I know which character was playing guitar in the upside down in the trailer. I cannot handle this bullying scene for El. Especially with the trying to use powers. Ugh. I can’t. It hurts. MY. GIRL. Look how amazing Erica is. Why am I anxious about a basketball game? This whole show is making me super anxious. “Never tell me the odds.” Cuties. Sinclair siblings come through! Eddie’s reaction was actually adorable after the crit hit.
...
What the hell. This show manages to get scarier each season.
That was horrific. Everything about that was horrific. Poor Chrissy. Poor Eddie how does he even move on after that!?!??!
Chapter 2: Vecna’s Curse
Ok so Hopper jumped from the platform during the blast. Cool. That tells me NOTHING about how he survived the blast that disintegrated a bunch of people. Great, he jumped from a platform, how did he avoid disintegrating though!??!?! Look I’m more than okay with Will crushing on Mike. That’s fine. I have a feeling that’s where the story will go. But also, let Will be ace. And Mike. You’re an idiot. Say hi to your best friend. Argyle’s actor looks familiar, but I don’t recognize anything on his IMDB. God this show causes me so much anxiety. This really might not be good for me. Why the vomit why you gotta show us????? Shoutout to the kid saying not to joke about Chrissy standing up Jason. #JusticeForBarb. Remember when that was the scariest part of the show? Wow. We’ve come so far. I miss the MindFlayer at this point honestly. I’d say I miss the Demogorgon too but I assume we’ll see one of those again. The same kid also checked on Lucas to see if he’s ok. This is a good boy. Honestly, this situation just sucks for everyone. Chrissy’s dead, Eddie’s probably traumatized plus being accused of a murder he can’t begin to explain, and Jason just lost his girlfriend and is in denial over the fact that she had some issues she didn’t tell him about. It sucks overall. But I don’t want Jason and the other guys to hurt Eddie. CREEPY DUDE MY LOVE?!!?! Oh my god. Jaqen H’ghar. I always called him Creepy Dude since I didn’t learn his name till well into Game of Thrones. But I loved Creepy Dude so much. Good for him getting this gig. (I didn’t write anything for like 15min) Victor Creel? Not gonna google it in case this is real and also spoilers. Ahhh the ticking. I would really prefer if whatever is about to happen to Fred happens offscreen thank you. MIKE. APPRECIATE YOUR FRIEND. Will did nothing wrong here. Yes he could have written more and started the correspondences, but also Mike had already dropped him for El back in Season 3. Mike, this is a long time in the making, it’s not just because they moved. God I wanna fight these kids for making my El cry. Ok the roller skate... was a bit much... El my girl... that was not ok. I specifically asked NOT to see Fred’s death onscreen.
These boys have gotta stop playing D&D with super niche monsters, they keep predicting the exact demon that will terrorize them. Imagine if at the end of the show we find out that their D&D games really do summon these monsters out of the Upsidedown.
That’s my new theory. That there is some substance to all this “D&D is the Devil!” stuff in the Hawkins media. Some aspect of D&D does make the wall between the Upsidedown and our world thinner or something. Things always go wrong right when they play D&D.

if ur ever wondering why i hate the american public school system so much know that when i was in 2nd/3rd grade me and like 2 of my close friends were being hardcore bullied by literally all the other girls in our class so we reported it to the counselors office because that’s what they told us to do if we were being bullied and the counselor’s solution was to pull every girl in our class out of like reading class or something and make us sit in the counselor’s office and do what they called a ‘friendship circle’ where they would give us candy as rewards for being nice to each other. this did not stop the bullying however it did convince the counselor that the girls were too nice to actually be bullying us and we were just making it up for attention

Upon reflection of my feed-- Ok I miss tumblr for real.
Updates ummm I went back to grad school for the 2nd time bc I love school counseling so much. Still a high school counselor.
Finally broke up with my abusive boyfriend, we were together for almost 6 years and the breakup had left me in shambles but I’m doing a lot better with it, there are a few moments that are still difficult. As much as it hurt to lose such an important person in my life, the reality is that he was physically, emotionally, verbally abusive. and I deserve far better.
Afterwards I fucked around (literally) with too many dudes, 1/3 of them were pure evil, I also may have boinked half the men ages 26-33 in Athens GA (jk... perhaps) in this span of time. Perhaps may have hooked up with my ex once. Might have gotten a former uga football/nfl player to fall in love with me but then he went to jail without me knowing and I moved on. Then came back professing his love but it was too late. It’s fine.
Also, met a man that has treated me like a queen since day one of talking, loves me for me emotionally mentally and physically (a stark contrast to my ex), sexy as hell, so kind, does all my chores LOL and is quite the gentleman. He’s my boo thang and I love him a whole lot. He’s treated me so well and my friends can all tell that he’s good to me, unlike the aforementioned ex.
Shoutout to my babyyyyy. ALSO SHOUT OUT TO ME
