— he has this strange habit of watching you eat, i know, it's a bit weird. but hey, it just goes to show how much he adores you!

— and as he watches you, he can’t help but compliment you.

— “[name]-chaann you’re so cute~” he sighs dreamily, his hands resting on his chin as he watches you take another bite out of the rice ball in your hand.

— you glance at him and suddenly feel a strange sense of anxiety at his comment.

— why’s he calling you cute? is he trying to make you feel better because you look bad?

— you try to brush the thoughts away, but you can't help but lean your head down in embarrassment and reluctantly set the rice ball down.

— zenitsu notices this almost immediately. "[name]-chan?! why’d you stop eating?" he whines, reaching out towards one of your thighs.

— "um, i don't know... why are you calling me cute? do i look embarrassing or something?" you blurt out, and he stares at you bewildered.

— "huh?! not at all!! i would never think that!! you look so cute when you eat!! sorry—" he begins to ramble at your reply, urgently assuring you that's not at all what he meant and that he's extremely sorry if it came across like that.

— you just sigh and look down at the plate in front of you. you always worried whether you looked good or not...

— whenever zenitsu compliments you, you can't help but feel like he's just kidding... what if he's only with you because he feels bad for you? or what if he compliments you because he pities you and hopes to make you feel better? or...

— your head swarms with thoughts, but you're quickly snapped out of it as zenitsu repeatedly asks you if you're okay, how you're feeling, and why would you ever think he would think anything like that?!

— you look at him, blinking rapidly to try to regain your senses, and you sigh quietly. "it’s just... what if you don't mean that? like... you’re just complimenting me because... i look bad—"

— but before you could finish, he cuts you off, yelling and grabbing onto your shoulders. "what do you mean?! you’re the most beautiful thing i’ve ever laid eyes on!! i love you for who you are!! i would never lie to you like that," he rants, which brings a small smile to your face.

— "thank you, zen. i love you," you whisper as you nestle into his shoulder. he giggles nervously, wrapping his arm around you and pulling you closer.

— you were training by yourself outside when tanjiro saw you through the window. hurriedly, he finished what he was doing and began to head outside toward you.

— once he got into earshot of you, he noticed your smell.

— you seemed, anxious - perhaps even scared?

— he immediately rushed over to you and asked you what was wrong, but you looked perfectly fine!

— he was a little bit dumbfounded by your scent, and told you what he smelled on you. “something like anxiety, are you okay [name]-chan? we can go inside if this is too much for you.” he assures.

— you shrug it off as no big deal and continue to wack your sword through the air, and he just watches you.

— he couldn't help but feel a little upset that you brushed off the topic because scents never lie; however, realizing that you might not be comfortable talking about it, he decided to leave it at that.

— as his mind wandered, he also couldn't help but think about how beautiful you were, especially when you wielded your sword through the air.

— "your posture is amazing, [name]-chan. you look absolutely beautiful," he compliments, causing you to stiffen as you turn to face him.

— "huh? seriously?" you mumble, stumbling a bit. he catches on and notices a sudden shift in your scent - something's definitely up that you don't want to talk about.

"[name]-chan, are you alright? please, talk to me," he begs. you can't help but sigh at his question. "i’m fine, it's just... do you mean that? that i look good.." you stammer, feeling embarrassed. tanjiro watches your expression with a sad look on his face.

— “what do you mean? i meant exactly what i said, you look stunning when you swing your sword like that.” he adds, causing a small blush to form on your face.

— "what if I'm not good enough?" you ask, your voice wavering. his demeanor changes completely. "what? you’re perfect, [name]-chan," he gasps, rushing over to cup your hands in his. "don’t say that about yourself."

— you smile at his words, feeling a bit better. he notices your scent change to something more relaxing, which puts him at ease.

— you stare down at the forest floor, the flowers blooming around you both has never made you more amazed until now - if you weren’t trapped in your own thoughts.

— he notices your uneasy behavior and questions you, "sorry, is what I said inappropriate?" cocking his head to the side, you whip your head toward him and quickly reassure him that what he said was fine - its just...

— "i don’t think that... these wisteria trees are much more beautiful than me," you admit. he sends a slightly shocked expression your way. after a moment of staring, he slowly processes his thoughts and gives you a mellow look.

— "don’t say that, you’re much more stunning than any wisteria tree i’ve ever seen," he confesses, and your cheeks tint an even darker shade of blush. "thank you, muichiro. you’re so kind."

— he smiles a small grin, pulling you closer by your wrist. “don’t ever think you aren’t enough, [name].”

The first time he came, one of your members was like “I think someone broke in our dorm.” Then he emerged from the darkness in his pjs and started to bow 90 degrees and apologize. He pretended to leave in front of your member, but then came back and spent the night with you.

- He brings you flowers and drinks for you and your members to the changing rooms during promotions. Sometimes he leaves them as a surprise, sometimes he straight up knocks on the door and brings them in himself. You can’t even see his head of how many flowers he’s brought 😭😭😭

- Your relationship is still a secret, but he makes it ooooh so obvious, it’s like he’s rebelling and wants everyone to know already. You normally just hang out in each others dorms, but when you do have to go out to the store of for coffee or something, they make you both cover up and Haechan’s manager follows along. Haechan is the one that arranges your cover up, and it consists in his brown fleece jacket and his beige fluffy bucket hat… ok Haechan, no one will notice this way 🙄🙄🙄

- He brings you to his practices when he knows he’s gonna be there all day. Sometimes you can’t show up because you’re busy too, but when you’re free you go to show support and bring snacks. His members don’t like it when you come because Haechan is soooooo distracted by you. You could just be napping or on your phone and he will be staring at you shamelessly. Taeyong would be calling him out aaaaall daaaaay looooong.

- Backstage in music shows, he kisses you out of nowhere, fearing absolutely nothing. His manager has scolded him multiple times for doing this, but he won’t stop. You could be walking with your members on the hallway, getting ready for the stage, and all of a sudden two hands will come out of a changing room and snatch you in it. He will kiss you quickly, making you squeal and praying that it’s him and not some weirdo, then he will throw you out again into the hall.

- I love Haechan, he’s so weird and he’s never embarrassed 😭😭😭😭😭 should I do this for the other members???🥶🥶🥶

(well, at least i think it is. i never learned this stuff properly, so i dont have names for these things)

its gonna get a little long so ill put all of this below the cut, but tldr be aware of certain color combos relating to their positions on the color wheel + remember scales (??? they prob arent actually called that erm) + fuck it we ball with markings

OKAY SO im typing this at 1:21 am on my phone and my right eye is hurting so pls forgive any typos and mistakes, and if i sound like i know my stuff but i dont PLEASE point it out to me so i can correct myself ;;;;

first of all, color combos. yes, all the stuff u learned in grade 5 art class actually works.

take a look at this bad boy. (i use autodesk sketchbook to draw, not ibispaint, but its the same on both programs)

color combos are always relationships between any given color with other colors based on their positions on the ring around the diamond.

for example, complementary colors are always opposite each other on the ring.

i use this for opah (my oc)’s design, with her dark blue-green and orange.

(as far as i know color combos dont care about the diamond in the middle, just the ring, so the actual colors themselves are pretty flexible)

theres a lot of other combos besides complementary but you can research that urself, ill just provide an example if i have one of the most common ones

this is my FAVORITE combo ever, because it lets me stay in the strict wof tribe color range while still being interesting. honestly u could take any design of mine and 99% chance theres analogous in there

if u wanna know more combos just google color theory schemes, theres more than i could ever remember and i dont really bother to use them all; for wof, i usually just stick with analogous and complementary.

I want to replace the old stuff on my wall with new art I’ve done but they are in actual sketchbooks for once and I can’t get myself to rip them out. When I was younger I was VERY frugal. I, of my own accord, did not want to ‘waste’ a single cent of my parents hard earned money on ‘unnecessary’ things like sketchbooks, so I always just used copy paper. I’m sure my parents would have happily bought me a sketchbook if I asked but I couldn’t bear the pressure of trying to make sure the purchase was worth it (??) anyway now I have 4 sketchbooks and a big stash of stickers and art supplies and crafting supplies and 10 year old me would be like wow icb u r not rich, famous, or married by now but u have all the stuff I ever wanted 🤩 and I’d be like yeah I got it for u 💓

Mental health support you have / how often you utilize those resources If your school has a free therapist for students please use them 😭 before you graduate, I utilized that a lot till I graduated. I also have a nice park with fields and trees near me tbh that would help a lot but also it’s a 30 min walk to get there to begin with so the walk itself tires me out nowadays 💔😔

Advice to (anyone) who want to enter (any) field Talk with people in that field, spending a day with them to see what it’s like, and find a mentor in that field maybe who can motivate you and give you ideas and show you opportunities and push you to apply to them lol because you prob wouldn’t have otherwise 😭 Doing these things are not easy though, but definitely has more payoff than any amt of YouTube videos u could watch to educate urself on the topic.

and yeah, i did a joint honours english and creative writing degree (graduating in three weeks :/) and there were literary theory modules each year that were compulsory for single honours english students BUT because i was also in creative writing, i couldn’t actually take them bc they ran at the same time as my cw classes soooo all this to say that even tho i did study literature i wasn’t really able to study that much literary theory - tho of course theory is relevant in all lit modules but i didn’t take a class specifically for that. (i wanted to, cause i love that shit, but i wasn’t allowed) ((annoyingly in first year there was a module that covered not only advanced lit theory but also academic writing that i wasn’t able to take so i never learned how to write university essays? like that’s not inconvenient at all))

that being said, i’m of course familiar with the concept of intention vs interpretation mainly through barthes’ death of the author theory (and it comes up a lot in cw classes because in workshops people share every thought they have about your work and ur not allowed to defend urself!! cause ur intention doesn’t matter if someone interprets what you wrote a certain way!!!) and the thing is i get it, i do - and i love to analyse whatever i can, i tear things to shreds with no mind for intent - but i also know people outside of literary studies love to say shit just isn’t that deep.

im always watching and rewatching shows with one or two of my sisters and one of them especially makes fun of me a lot for analysing everything from the dialogue to delivery to lighting and staging and camera work because she thinks i get way too into it. she either stares at me blankly or tells me to shut up (which happens a lot it’s very annoying let me talk ffs) so i guess i mainly added that in the tags to ensure everyone knows that i know that i analyse a lot so hopefully no one feels the need to tell me?? i don’t know, i just get slightly self conscious about analysing things when i know i could be saying something slightly unhinged lmao.

but, i will of course, keep going off on here about aftg bc that’s what im here for lol (i got sad about not being able to share my thoughts anywhere)
