Ok I just saw this great fan art right after watching the episode of Magi:The labyrinth of magic where it explains Alibaba’s past and about how his mother caught the eye of the king and they had an affair,she leaves and becomes a prostitute,gets sick and dies,all that. And that gave me a request idea.

•So what if Sylus,Zayne,Rafayel,and Xavier meet their genderbent counterparts in the world of Magi that are in a similar situation in the way that they are prostatutes in the slums in order to survive like Alibabas mom only none of them get sick and die like Alibabas mom did.

You know the three princesses of the brothel in apothecary dairies? Well think of them in that way in the sense that they are the most beautiful and desired, well known prostitutes but not in a brothel and are instead in the slums of balbad. Even if they can’t dress luxuriously they are still the most beautiful. And instead of three there’s five,Sylys,Zayne,Rafayel,Xavier,and Mc.

Most of them will be disowned by their families for getting pregnant out of wedlock since that was VERY frowned upon way back then.

•They know MCs counterpart but she’s not genderbent and is instead a sister figure to them and an aunt to their children.

She is also a prostitute,they found her in the slums wandering around with amnesia when she was (they guessed) 17 years old and soon found out she was pregnant,

they tried to talk her out of becoming a prostitute but knew it was likely her only shot at surviving given the state Balbad had been in since the former king died and his short pudgy son took the throne,

eventually they gave in and showed her the ropes and how to work this job without getting hurt by customers or getting sick from them, how to spot the good,healthy,and rich customers, and how to send away the ones that are trouble or could get her or her kid sick,they helped her when she first arrived.

Mc has one 4 year old and one on the way.

•They all live together or very close by each other. Sylus’s counterpart knows Luke and Kieran,they are genderbent and they were her handmaids.

•Sylus’s counterpart has a 9 year old daughter who looks like her dead lover,a 2 year old daughter who looks like her, and has one more on the way.

She was a high class noble lady and fell in love with a soldier and got pregnant but he died before they could get married so her family disowned her and his family blamed her for his death and chased her away.

She took what little money her family gave her and left for the slums and became a prostitute since no one wanted to hire a ruined woman for any other job.

Her loyal handmaids who are Luke and Kieran’s female counterparts went with her,whether or not they became prostitutes too is up to you but they are her assistants and big sister figures to her daughters.

Her daughter can’t learn as fast as the other kids and has trouble learning and understanding certain things like for example math,or learning and memorising the rules to a new game, due to developmental delays caused by her mother not being able to get enough nutrition while she was pregnant with her since she lives in the slums as well as being born too soon.

She makes enough money so she and her children don’t starve now since she’s more well known by the noble class and not just the men in the slums.

•Zayne counterpart has twins,a girl and a boy. They are none identical but they both look like their mother.

She was a middle class lady, daughter of two doctors,Her husband was a kind medicine peddler, he died after being attacked by bandits not long after her twins were born since he couldn’t get the required medical treatment in time.

Her twins are 6 years old and were born in a land where there was plenty of food to eat so they came out normal and not early.

Their mother came to Balbad with them after she heard their were many sick people there that needed help and didn’t have anyone to leave them with,

She thought she’d be able to make enough to get by without having to charge the poor people by treating rich nobles,

but she didn’t know just how bad Balbads money troubles were so she ended up poor too and moved to the slums since she could no longer afford their living arrangements in the middle class.

She makes a little money as a doctor in various classes of the hierarchy but most of her money comes from prostitution since men of all walks come for her services.

•Rafayels counterpart has one 5 year old girl and a newborn son.

She fell in love with a rich man and he got her pregnant, he said he’d come back for her but he never did and she found him courting another woman,he abandoned her.

She was in the middle class, the daughter of an art dealing merchant, but she didn’t have the funds to support herself and a child, and her family cut her off and disowned her for getting pregnant out of wedlock,

so she sold her house and went to the slums so she’d have a decent amount of money for a while but eventually she had to find a way to make ends meet and since jobs aren’t offered to people in the slums very often she turned to prostitution since that’s the only profesión from the slums the nobles and middle class will pay decently not well but decent. She’s pretty well known by the nobles.

•Xavier’s counterpart has one 3 year old son.

She was a middle class noble lady who fell in love with a soldier and as soon as he found out she was pregnant he kicked her to the curb and when her family found out she was pregnant out of wedlock they disowned her so she moved to the slums with enough money she saved to get by for a while and be able to get enough to eat from the middle class so she would have a healthy full term baby.

But after her son was born eventually that money ran out and she turn to prostitution since no one in the middle or upper class would give someone from the slums a job unless it’s a prostitute looking for clients. She’s pretty well known among the nobles.

I've really just had a realization that Sinbad told Kougyoku that Alibaba knew about Zepar... while Alibaba was still considered dead...

It'd make sense if he used that once Alibaba came back, to divide them, since Alibaba was pretty instrumental in Kou's revival, but what did he think he'd gain by telling her earlier? Literally my best idea is he'd done that to gaslight her, but, damn, using a dead man's name to do so? Very low.

Just a few years after he is recognized as Balbadd’s third prince, a young Alibaba is kidnapped by sea pirates. Through a series of "rescues" (by both pirates and passing merchants), he somehow lands his way into Sindria, the place he’s always wanted to visit...

Except, he has to go back home now. But how could anyone ever accept to bring him back, when he is a child with nothing to his name and no proof of his identity? He will just have to work until he has enough money, hiding any trace of his true identity by darkening his hair with black soot and ink… or maybe a lucky encounter with Sindria’s King will help. If only Alibaba knew what the king looked like…

Now see, I actually see them both as switches when it comes to who is topping and who is bottoming... HOWEVER, Eric is 100% the sub and Sinbad is 100% the dom. Not to say that Eric can't flirt with Sinbad, he absolutely can, but Sinbad's flirting style is more... aggressive. And sexual, don't forget sexual.

I can see Sinbad having more experience than Eric. Since Eric is a prince, there are more eyes on him and privacy isn't a luxury he has all too often. I could see him court different noble ladies, perhaps even enjoying their company, but in the long run he's gay. And in the closet, very much in the closet. Sinbad is out and proud, he couldn't care less and admittedly doesn't really understand why Eric can't come out, but respects it... mostly. He'd never out him, but boy does he push the limits sometimes just to see Eric's reaction xD

Judar never really minded the fact that he couldn't use healing spells

In his words "why would someone as strong as me need healing spells pft-"

But oh God was he eating up his words right about now

"Why the fuck didn't you tell me earlier what if this thing gets... infected?!?" "...judar. It's not like you could help very much"

He knew this he knew he couldn't help with healing spells- he's known this for a long time but- why is it only now that he regrets not trying harder?

He's trying, he's trying so hard to heal you the look of defeat on his face is not a sight you see often sighing, you moved over to judar a little "judar..calm down, we can't go back yet. Just- give me my bag I have some first aid in it.."

Without saying a word he grabs your bag and hands you what he thinks is the first aid kit that you're talking about you take out some things that you're gonna use to clean your wound but soon you run into trouble- see your wound is on your back and as you shift to try to clean it a sharp jolt of pain hits

You let out a small groan but continued as there wasn't anything else you could do but perceiver

Judar watched as sweat drilled from your head as you tried to shift your position to see the tear God..he couldn't handle looking at you like this but he was clueless as to what he should do...

"Just...just- give me that" it surprised you a bit when Judar snatched the cloth from your hand "come here.." he gently? lowered your head to lay on his lap so you were laying on your stomach

Judar has been given punishments for acting out by al thamen plenty of times so he's watched as servants cleaned his wounds before so he's trying with all his might to replicate that

"Just..just tell me if it hurts..or- if I'm doing something wrong.." this was very unlike your judar in every scenario you had imagined him laughing at your injuries but treating them and reassuring you- oh wow

"..maybe I should get injured more often so I can see this side of you eh?-" in response, he didn't say anything but instead pressed a little too hard on your wound which was followed by an array of apologies from you

This- this felt nice contrary to the aching wound on your back, being gently touched by judar as he tried his best to softly clean your wound and apply some medicine was somehow almost soothing

He's more worried about your wound than you- he looks like he's gonna cry-

You spoke too soon he did start crying and like a baby at that

It almost seemed like he was the hurt one

You end up comforting him...

He's crying almost sobbing "hey, haku...dont cry my dear its fine " he's just a mumbling crying whining mess "b-but...you, I, h-...how?" he's just a little crying mess in a puddle of his own tears

You hug him close ignoring any pain from the wound but when he tries hugging you back you let out a slight groan and he realizes what an idiot he's being, I mean your the ones who's hurt what the hell is he doing right now!!

He starts to stop crying still sniffling but it's better than before "c-...come here" he gently helps you lay down as he grabs bandages from his bag

"i-if you feel, any discomfort...tell me, okay?" his voice is small and you hear a small gasp when he gets a good view of your injury "y/n..." he whispers under his breath not sure how he could comfort you...

You can feel his hands shake as he cleans your wounds the little trembles of his body as worry overcomes him "don't worry my dear haku..."

"how...how could I not" you can hear his voice breaking as he quietly sobs once more

The second he hears that your injured he rushes to your side and hold your hand

He's also mad, not at you but himself he should've been there to protect you!

"y/n...how did this...what happend...i-" it seems that for once even so bad is at a loss for words

He brings the best doctors in the nation no the world to come treat you, he holds your hand as they treat you his heart stops everytime your grip gets tighter indicating that your hurting "i-its gonna be...fine, fine...dont worry" it seems the reassure me is meant for himself more then it is for you

After the doctors leave he traces the area around your wound careful not to touch it...sinbad isn't the most caring person in the world and you've never seen him look so...afraid

"y/n...please next time tell me if your hurt, if you need help. Please " it's almost as if he's begging you more then asking

His voice breaks at the end of his sentence as you look at him and nod...you might not do what he says but at least you reassure him

I believe Mystra would've been way more fun and interesting if she looked a little bit more fucked up. Not in the way they'd have to make her "ugly" because she's cough evil cough (thatd be a bad move), but make her more ethereal, more goddess-like, imagine Eris from Sinbad.....the power..the flair comeon, she ain't human, let her be more creatureesque

Oh so we're doing this~

Here is a very brief summary, you could call this some type of drabble I guess! About how I think this particular situation would go.

The little merturtle AU Leo being captured by pirate! MC

Leo gets turned into a normal red-eared slider, again, and trying to reach Donnie in the beach, gets in the way of these pirates that have been terrorizing the kingdom, as the pirates are escaping, MC sees Leo at the beach and grabs him, why? Because MC just lost their parrot and why not get a new pet?

I imagine MC has to be tough all the time, they're in a dangerous situation, that's their life and they have to make sure the rest of their crew are always confident in what they're doing.

So MC would just let themselves talk to their pet about things they can't regularly talk about all the time, but since their parrot died, they've been under more stress and become more violent without some type of outlet.

So, turtle.

Leo is confused the whole time, but can't talk so he is just struggling and trying to get out of there, but before he knows it, he is already on a pirate ship at sea and there's a navy ship following them close and ARE THOSE CANNONS?

The pirates escape and celebrate, while Leo is trying to throw himself into the sea the whole time, but MC takes some of the treasure (And Leo) along with them to the Captain's cabin.

Have you watched "Sinbad: Legend of the seven seas"? Because I imagine the MC to be similar to Sinbad in a way.

Cunning, greedy, conniving, even egotistical. The MC is a pirate and though there's much more to them, there's a lot of "character development" that would need to happen first.

Leo, in a way, relates a bit of their vanity and greed, in a much tamer way, easily distracted by the treasure once with it and entertaining MC as he manages to put on a necklace in front of the mirror.

The MC is amused by the little turtle, which would make it much harder for him to escape.

This goes on for a bit, the navy is still looking for these pirates and Leo is getting further away from both the kingdom where Donnie is, and Atlantida.

The pirates keep stealing from different ports along the way, and MC talks to Leo about how they just want to get away for a while and take a break in some beautiful island to relax.

The more MC talks their thoughts out to the turtle, the more he sees they're lonely and stressed and that there's way more to them than he first thought (Having gotten kidnapped by a dangerous pirate, his opinion of MC wasn't the best).

But the spell does end up running out, and by the time he's fallen in love with them, it breaks and he gets back to his merturtle form.

I think that unlike the situation that happened with Donnie, though Leo would be insecure about his appearance, considering humans are still generally judgemental of yokai, the problem would come from the fact that the moment he detransforms the whole crew finds him and captures him.

What is the worth of such a being? And once Leo slips up and says he is the crown prince of Atlantida? They are more set on keeping him for a rescue.

The only reason MC keeps him comfortable in a sort of tank inside the ship is because Leo was their "pet" that MC spoke about their problems to, but truly, MC does NOT know him.

For a while after he returns to his form, they fight frequently, MC has control, but Leo will not keep quiet, he may try getting in their good graces but he can't keep quiet when he does not agree or about wanting to be fred.

Explaining how their relationship develops would take more time and it would be unfair for me to do so in this drabble, but with the time they would spend together as he is captured in there, the MC would inevitably get to know him.

The conflict would stew, with what the crew wants and MC expects, from what his family does as they search for him, and what the navy does trying to capture the pirates.

sinbad, legendary adventurer and treasure hunter, has spent years at sea, travelled accross the world, witnessed monsters and discovered multitudes of fantastic realms. a man of the outside world, it seems the sailor has seen everything and anything one could ever imagine, but sinbad has found a new interest in the most precious and sought-after marvel in the kingdom: badr ul-badour -the king's prized desert rose- whose name reaches far beyond the palace he resides in, but who so few get to actually see.

when a traveler and a desert rose meet, curiosity and intrigue sparks. what worlds will they discover in eachother?

I imagine, that the crew didn’t leave immediately after the movie finale, but stayed for a few days until their ship was properly repaired. King Dymas generously granted them the best shipwrights and craftsmen for the repairs and Proteus in turn spent some time with Sinbad’s crew. Drunk shenanigans ensue. 

Marina is relieved to see Proteus FINALLY act on his feelings since he basically  could never shut up about his childhood best friend that disappeared for a century. The OT3 are unseparable until the crew leaves Syracuse to girlboss their way through the world. Minus Proteus because of his princely duties. Sinbad and Marina do however visit him regularly and bring him the most ridiculous souvenirs from their adventures.

A silly art piece of the gang couple in the 90s Disney and Dreamworks art style!!! Paying tribute to the some of my favorite series growing up: Dreamworks’ Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas and The Prince of Egypt, Disney’s Aladdin and Hercules.

I always imagined the Charites would wore the same as the Muses in the movie, albeit more colorful and patterns!!! The original designs of Aphrodite and Ares by Lisa Kudrow in the Disney Hercules film and series are also unironically my favorite, so I kind of took a little inspiration from them as well.
