#loz au #wip #Ballad (Kheprriverse)#they/he #thinking about his design a lot more >> just how some things came to be #as I change FD I also change Ballad since theyre kinda linked (lol)#the white in their hair also changed a bit. more prominent + starts on left side of their usual part #but him in his main casual outfit + the green half-tunic is now just a cloth #switched his belt coz thats been bothering the fuck outta me #also changing his biggoron sword because that fucker cant have a single consistent design #yknow after all the trouble i went through making its oh ref twice #scarred eye is now his left (he’s left handed) + starts where the eye is for uh. lore.#also he doesnt close his eye often anymore. tho i may give him some sorta patch to cover it… not sure yet. probably wont #i’ll get to his armor eventually. that ones gotta take a lot of thinking.#ballad’s kind of the main character so I do wanna get their design how i want #they’re justa dad who wants to get everything done with so they can go back to their wife and son #*dont worry about the weird coloration in one spot. i use an auto action to auto-color my line art before i go in manually*#Kheprriart

#my posts #gw2 #guild wars 2 #thinking about this a lot lately since mine def do!#I'll start: Pirkko has branded mounts and while I haven't named most of them. they were all branded over by Aurene #because they'd been corrupted by Kralkatorrik and they wanted to see if Aurene's magic could purify them in some way #it usually didn't work but Pirkko keeps the ones they saved #Larimar is her skyscale. his egg was tainted by the Brand before he hatched so Aurene was barely able to save him #he's a chivalrous knight type and is known to be just as noble as the Commander who raised him. brave. bold. kind of a dork.#while the Commander is fighting he circles up above and swoops down to rescue injured soldiers from the front line #Saoirse meanwhile gets the SoTo skyscale egg and that hatches into Nightshade. he's fierce and protective too #but in a much more 'loyal guard dog' sort of way as opposed to trying to help everyone else as well. he's an axejaw!#in Regrowth Ceara gets Foxglove because the Commander and Gorrik could NOT manage this little troublemaker #she's too smart for her own good and is CONSTANTLY causing problems. so basically just like Ceara HDKDHDH #Foxglove's a lunarmane! and she's very fluffy and cute and will give you the big shiny eyes to mooch all your food. evil #Ruju meanwhile has a full cast of different mounts who all were troublemakers in different ways when he found them #his griffon Windshear's a northern featherwing that was notorious for carrying off travelers in Lornar's Pass. turned out she was just bore #she's very playful and mischievous and still grabs him on a regular basis. he absolutely hates this #his fulgurite ridgeback jackal Thunderclap was a rogue jackal that the djinn had him help recapture and tame #he's imbued with Ruju's air element magic and is known to make the air spark and smell of ozone when he's annoyed #then there's Blitz his lepidote brute skyscale! he likes bloodstone magic and kept nipping everyone until it was finally provided #the rest I don't have in-game yet but I DO have concepts for the skimmer/warclaw/raptor. the 1st 2 I know what skins I want too #the skimmer will be a frosty-dyed lithosol named Frostbite. it's an ice elemental that terrorized Frostgorge Sound #the warclaw is a spinetail nian with jungle colors since it's supposed to be a smokescale-type saurian critter #and the raptor is SUPPOSED to be the jungle raptor that plointt grew to huge size and promptly tried to eat him #BUT there isn't a skin that feels close enough yet so rip. Fang is a handful tho and keeps trying to chew on Inquest HDJDGDH #ANYWAY. that's all of mine. throws this into the wind

blinks tiredly. i decide "hm maybe i should try to expand my circle and step outside of it a little, lets go look at the main community tags" and im just greeted with a bunch of edgelords who think saying "fiction doesn't affect reality, don't like don't read" is peak activism and "fighting censorship". head in my hands. this is partially why i do not ever go into the community tags, my nervous system cannot handle blocking fifty weirdos every single day just so i can have a normal experience in the community tags hfdsjkl

I was tagged by the wonderful @romirola 💜 so here goes! Consider this an open tag to anyone who would like to join!

rules: share 5 redactedverse headcanons you hold, plus 1 headcanon you're still working on!

HCs under the cut!

1.) Huxley likes to knit! He learned from his moms and its super relaxing for him to get his mind off stuff. Plus, then he has stuff to give to his bros! He especially likes using the chunky yarn and the DAMN fam all have scarves he made for them. (Damien wears his even though he claims he doesn't need it)

2.) Damien is the best cook in the DAMN fam, especially after he moved in with Hux and they have a good sized kitchen. He invites everyone over once a week so he can be sure they're eating at least one good, healthy meal a week. (And he always makes a lot of leftovers so his friends can take some home)

3.) Lasko needs glasses but he's always misplacing or breaking them. So he ends up buying a lot of cheaper glasses from websites that let's you put in your own prescription. He finds a lot of unique ones that he saves for special occasions. (FL found him a pair that have dice designs on the arms and they glow in the dark. He likes wearing them to DnD nights)

4.) Empathy daemons have hair that changes color depending on their mood. Caelum's is usually pink because he is usually happy but it turns yellow when he's curious or it tinges in red if he's getting frustrated. It was a deep navy after the Inversion. (Regulus' is a deeper pink/magenta but it's been green lately whenever his listener dreams about him again)

5.) Freelancer took the 'master of none' line that Gavin said at their first meeting personally. They don't hold it against Gavin but they keep hearing it from other students or professors and it's now a sore spot. So they're determined to master as much as they're able to.

+1) Gavin has thought about the Freelancer’s mortality and has wondered if they'd consider vampirism sometime down the road. But he knows how much they love magic, and their abilities and hasn't asked them about it yet. He's taken up researching other ways to try and prolong their life, and in the meantime, he's more than content with just being able to enjoy the life they have.

Hmmm I kinda want to make a side blog for RPG Maker game development related things to be able to talk to more experienced people in that community, but at the same time I both don’t really think I’d get much attention and don’t want to accidentally spoil my own game (^^ ; ).

I have a rough story, concept doodles, a tileset, some character sprites, an enemy that walks around but can’t initiate battle yet (if I even decide to have a battle system), a couple rooms with some events, and a functioning run button, but I’m still lost on how to do much else at the moment. Especially since this program has the ability for scripting, meaning I’ll probably have to learn and actually retain another coding language.

So, I’m not very far at all lol. Idk how well that’d go over on the established fandom website, but eh.

#or.. recent ISH.. this was still a few months ago lol #photo diary #EEEee... it's like over 45 minutes away from where I live but I finally found an arcade to go to that's not like entirely in the city and #is less busy. I went like the second they opened at 11:55am on a tuesday while school was still in. So there was basically no other people #there aside from like 5 staff. + wearing high quality KN95 mask and limiting my time there to under 1hr..#Also this was before the current summer covid surge happening since June in the US. so... I got to do One Single safe activity for once lol #skee ball my beloved.....#I actually don't like a lot of arcade games so I basically just spent 70% of the time doing skeeball ghjbjh #But I did weirdly like that pearl themed machine.. even though its one of those foolish games where you just drop items #and hope that they build up enough to let coins fall. like very boring not skill based or etc. But the Aesthetics of it.. I was drawn #to.. I wanted to crack the glass open and harvest the smooth white orbs from inside.. it would have been even cooler if they were #actually pearlescent in some way. but the round bubbly design and the blue and white water and shell theme entranced me #I love air hockey also but this machine was really flat and weird. like not enough air was pumping and the puck was very cheap and flimsy #An afterschool daycare place I went to once as a child had an air hockey machine that they would allow kids limited use to sometimes #and the air was always BLASTING up from the table so much that you could lay on it and it was like being hit by a slight breeze. and the #puck was very hefty and more of a satisfying clunk when you shot it around. I mastered skee ball with two arms #where I would load up a game on two machines right next to each other and throw one ball with my left hand to the left machine and one #with my right to the other and still got an okay ish score on both lol. But I do forget arcades can be very sensory overwhelming like #bright lights and noises and stuff.. walking past every blinking machine chirping at me like SHUT UP I'm trying to get to SKEE BALL #leave me ALONNEE. ghjhb... ANYWAY.. other stuff.. some images of clouds as usual.. a quaint little breakfaste #of eggs. pickled onions. grapes strawberries. and some turkey bacon. Also ofcourse Cat In Weird Position image.#he's always sitting with his legs stretched out funny #I kind of hate arcades on principle since much is a waste of money and time and many games are rigged (especially claw games) where #theres like some Illusion of Skill but so much of it is just random. I simply do not have the patience for that sort of thing. And usually #all the stuff you can win is bad anyway. BUT I also love active games.. if there was a place where I could JUST play skee ball. ddr.#air hockey. and like games where you have to aim at stuff (shooting games. wack a mole. etc.) then I would go there instead.#Active Games Only arcade. It bothers me sometimes to have to walk past all the scammy games to get to the decent ones lol..#Begone.. Out of my site at once... wretched claw machines.. and those things where you try and stop a light or whatever

okay look I know I've talked about this at length already but I've seen a ton of people talk about how they don't like whiskey peak and how they think it wasn't necessary for zoro and luffy to fight like that or straight up think it was ooc of them, but then the same people will turn around and go "isn't it fascinating how zoro's the only one who can say no to luffy or nearly order him around or that luffy waits for the opinion of before acting for no apparent reason it must be because they are soulmates" and honestly for real I'm the first to subscribe to the zoro and luffy soulmates thought but the reason why zoro can do all that is whiskey peak. that is the moment zoro took a decision that benefited the whole crew without asking luffy first for the first time, and that is the moment luffy unjustly doubted him without implicitly trusting his judgement, and that is the moment luffy learned that actually sometimes zoro sees what's best for the crew before he does and that trusting him to always act with the crew's best interests in mind is something he should do. zoro had never opposed luffy or acted without his consent in any way before whiskey peak and luffy never doubts him and always turns to him ever since, there is direct correlation between the two zoro and luffy didn't learn to trust each other and respect each other through a magical soulbond connection their relationship is actually pretty damn well developed

#like i know in most manga it's useless to analyze every scene this deeply since the mangaka doesn't actually think about it that much #it's not that deep usually and i get it #but op is Definitely not one of those manga imho you can and you should stop and read into every single thing that happens #everything has deeper implications in it it's one of my favourite things in the manga #you're allowed to not like the thought of zoro and luffy fighting or how they just moved on and laughed it off #(even if i do believe given their characters that's the only way a fight between them could have ended but that's just me)#but even without liking it just writing it off as unimportant or non influential is just wrong #that's part of their history it should be counted as such whether you like it or not #i know i always talk about the same thingssss but there's a lot of new readers starting the anime going in from opla #and wonderfully a lot of them are zo lu shippers which is fantastic but it does put a lens on the way they watch it #like same me too everything is zl for me too but #yeah whatever point it I'm seeing the argument brought up again ex novo all over #and I'm probably the n1 whiskey peak defender so im not unbiased lbr #i love that they fought there who am i kidding #........... #haunted ecosystem #i'll take a burst of creativity in a different form than usual than the burnout slump i've been in for a few months #<- part of why my fandom stuff has taken a smidge of a backseat #dont get me wrong i am still very excited about my fandoms im just having fun off in oc hell (affectionate)#its nice to just be able to create and not really worry about perception. and also i feel Less bad about just throwing ocs into the wringer #((blame the fact i've been REALLY interested in whump recently and i have been. fixated. on one of my characters.))#and ALSO i've been! rekindling my flame for wtds. i've been putting off thinking about it since that fic got.#nothing bad happened? but it was still very devastating that somebody who i considered a friend from that fic just. evaporated.#but i'm gonna finish that fic for him :) even if it takes a year. even if it's the one thing i finish ever. it'll be wtds.#for where its gotten me and the fact its what got me out of my shell and is the reason i trust that my writing is good!#i used to really hate rereading my work. i catch flaws that are obvious to me. but that fic. i just think about how *good* the story is #that story means. a lot to me? as a person? like the main character is not a good person. but people care about him anyway.#and there are so many little things. so many sentiments. so much that is a love letter to people who've done bad but learnt to do better #because. god knows i wasnt a good person even just a few years ago. and maybe i see myself in him a bit.#he came from a place of paranoia and fear and pain. and maybe its a good thing that i've found it difficult to write him recently.#because god. i've been HAPPY. even with the rough moments and bad days. i've been happy. i mean fuck.#my birthday's what. ten days away? god damn man. i'm going to be 18. that's an achievement.#i want to look the kid who thought it was over at half my age and tell him we fucking made it. and there are more years to come.#there's a life ahead. even if it's going to be a bitch. even if it's going to be tough. there's love in your heart and people who care and #you're going to fucking live and you're going to feel better one day. you have people to meet properly and thank and cherish.#because for every day it feel like the world's ending there are a dozen more where the sun shines just the right way through the rain #and you can't help but smile because it's just so god damn beautiful.#and fuck it. you're sick. your hands hurt and your legs don't work right. and it's tough sometimes. but you have people who understand.#you have people who honest to god love you for who you are and appreciate your company. and 18 is the first step.#you've spent half your life unlearning things and you've spent half your life relearning how to be what YOU want to be #and if you're a mediocre artist and passionate writer then you'll be fucking great at that. taking the time to learn when it strikes you.#and maybe this is for me. but its also for anybody reading it too. please god if there's one thing you take from this let it be that #somebody out there cares. *I* care. god i care. even if we've never spoken proper i care about you.#i practically have a list of everybody i see in my inbox. i love seeing familiar names show up. i.#i dont know how to neatly wrap up this tag ramble. but. i am so damn full of love it hurts sometimes. its scary to be happy but thats ok!

got some yarn for a couple winter projects im super excited about

#yelling and screaming at myself that spending some money twice a year on a hobby i enjoy dearly isnt wrong #also considering im not even gonna have to buy gaiden in a couple months since its coming to gamepass this is like #the money i had already singled out for that im not going over budget here #im gonna make the halibut sweater for myself (which is gonna take a while because i dont do colorwork at all and i want it to come out good #and another beanie for my partner cause he has to be outside a lot in winter and apparently the one i made him last year was a lifesaver #i also tried out a new yarn shop cause my usual one has stopped stocking my preferred brand #i was super happy with the other shop but they literally only sell hand dyed hanks now and i just cant spend 100€ per sweater

Hi! My day was pretty average, I went to work and then Pop got his fall vaccines today and is always extremely mopey and dramatic about it, so I felt bad for him even when he was being a little terror. I hope that you had / have a good day and thank you for sending in this ask!

SO, I haven't really watched much of the satvb coverage and I purposely didn't watch any of the live streams so there would at least be *some* surprise when I went to my first show. I did however see way too many pictures of the wax Matty figure laying in the fake grass and am very stressed about how I am going to explain THAT to my casual fan friends that are going to the shows with me. 😂

And on that note, I'm going to my first show of the tour next week and I can't make any promises regarding a fic dealing with the wax figure situation (I have some other projects up my sleeve now that the A&E Fic is nearly finished- one of them while still a Gatty situation is very different from anything I've ever written 👀) however, that's not to say that inspiration won't strike when I'm confronted with a life sized, naked, fake Matty in person 😂

I will report back after my show- but from what I understand, despite the shocking, absurdity of it all, it is actually a rather sad moment? Regardless, if I do decide to write something relating to it (whether a fic or just me over thinking and having ~feelings~), it will for sure be after I see the entire thing go down in person.
