Congratulations you can killed a bird next part you kill your self and you’ll see the voice of the witch 💪 (idc if it should be he spectre cus she swapped the cold but she would not behave that way, although some stuff has changed I want to keep the personalities of everyone pretty similar but tweaked)

Thing I’m pretty sure I haven’t mentioned that I want to is the claws are long because in the last chapter of you try to kill the monster but warn him you see the claws are super long, the smitten, the hunted, and the opportunist all will have long claws since the princess in this version saw the monster slice its leg trying to escape the bear trap and in the og game the princess got more animalistic if you saw her chew on her wrist(not the damsel though but I wanted to keep a consistent thing with the smitten opportunist and hunted)

a slay the princess au (path through the woods) in which you are a young woman escaping her cabin through the only way you know: the path through the woods, despite (or in spite of) the fact a monster is said to dwell among its trees.

So I've been looking at the "slay the monster" stuff and i think the stuff I've seen is neat i gotta ask. Has anyone thought about it where the goal ISN'T to slay the monster but to be a sacrificial maiden for the monster. A switching of places but not of roles.

I mainly ask this because i think it'd be very interesting to instead of the narrator painting the creature as something that deserves to be killed whose entire existence would be better off destroyed, it would be the narrator trying to show you how good it would be if you just let the monster devour you. You're a princess so obviously they wouldn't have sent you away if they COULD do something else. Look at how nice this cabin is, wouldn't it be lovely to rest here while doing a good thing. The monster while powerful and scary is gentle and will allow you to pass painlessly. Go on princess, step into the beast's maw and slip away into a deep slumber forever....

I do feel like the princess wouldn't be instigating the resets but the monster. I feel like it could play on the monster always wanting to desire something. The "cold" route (aka just doing what you're told with no hesitation) would be interesting. Imagine seeing a lady wordlessly step into your maw and allow herself to be devoured. While the stp cold route is vengeance of a killer i feel like it'd be the opposite. A curiosity the monster couldn't sate as it sat there after that odd event. They could feel time slowly pass now that they had an unanswerable question. Eventually becoming too much to bear so they die and it starts up again.

Anyways i mainly think it's interesting purely because the vibes of everything would be so different.

omg reverse riko au is making me feel so ill..... please let us know if you have any more thoughts abt riko kayleigh and kevin legend.....

I DO my idea is that its around the same age kevin and riko met in canon so tetsuji kicks the bucket when riko is 7/8 and riko is (very forcibly) removed from the nest and sidelined to kayleigh as a new moriyama asset from the main branch takes over the nest. riko struggles a lot with the change because he is very young and very scared and he’s used to horrible things at tetsuji’s hand, which means that he doesn’t trust kayleigh and finds kevin entirely too weird. it’s honestly really cute because i think at this point obviously 7 year old kevin wants to befriend him but riko is such an anxious ball of anger that most of their interactions are like

baby riko: what do you WANT from me. go AWAY!!!! NOW

baby kevin: (heavy irish accent) nothing i think. do you want a bite of my sandwich?

anyway i think riko and kayleigh do get along but he never really considers her his mother or even godmother, for a long time he thinks of her as his Benefactor until the child therapy starts hitting and she becomes Aunt Kayleigh and then after a few more years he can be loosely convinced to refer to her as auntie once or twice a year. his second son syndrome never really leaves him; in the upcoming years riko struggles with the idea that he’s anything But an add-on to the days and still overworks himself to death trying to be acknowledged by kengo, but it’s leaps better just from being outside the nest and having people to look out for him

riko and kevin have some rough patches, especially during riko’s first years with the days. because kevin is an easy target and riko is afraid of kayleigh he ends up letting a lot of that anger out on kevin, though obviously at this point they are children and riko’s anger manifests in some mild bullying and name calling. i think kevin doesn’t even understand it most of the time 😭 riko has been around grown ups his entire life so his adult level insults make no sense to kevin’s seven year old mind. nevertheless after kayleigh tells him to stop picking on kevin riko does respect it (first out of fear, then later because they actually get along) and they go on to become brothers with only a slight tendency towards antagonism. riko’s jealousy of kevin is still a big part of their relationship and i think even more so when college applications roll around, and he’s even more worried when wymack comes into the picture, but it never culminates into anything as horrible as hand breaking because riko has an actual outlet and a support system :) it’s mostly a yelling match that eventually turns to getting scolded by kayleigh for acting like barbarians

does any other monster/voice know what hero looks like or is it just the ships crew(princess, narrator, tlq)

Firstly, I assume you were probably hoping for art but I wracked my brain and just nothing occurred to me TwT Mostly because, my second point, I realized no one besides the main crew probably have seen Hero!! I thought really hard about this but Hero only takes his helmet off when he is: - Eating - Sleeping - Using the "bathroom" to shower (Either their mini corner with a toilet and shower which Hero had to awkwardly request because none of the rest of the crew needs either really, or when they stop by gordon to pick up rations and supplies. I imagine it sorta like a little gas station place where they use company cash to get things they need and can request specific supplies for more charge). That already makes the list of voices who could have seen him pretty slim. Broken, Paranoid, Skeptic, Hunted, Stubborn, and Cold almost never get on the ship. It's not impossible but it's highly unlikely. Smitten, Cheated, Opportunist, Contrarian are the main ones who like to travel with the crew on occasion, which also makes them the most likely to see Hero. Problem two, however, is the fact that they are absolutely still monsters. Hero has gotten comfortable sleeping and eating with TLQ and Narrator around (It took a few weeks but TLQ was openly very friendly and he didn't know Narrator was a masked. When he found out there was another sleepless period but Narrator has yet to kill him in his sleep fdsdf) but that was through a lot of exposure. Even though he is friends with Contrarian that guy makes enough "haha but what if I DID convert you haha, wouldn't that be funny?" jokes that Hero would not risk exposing his face fdsaf. Smitten and Cheated don't usually hang around much longer than a quota and he can pull enough excuses out to avoid it. Opportunist is probably the most likely to have seen it??? Opportunist is small and while obnoxious is fairly harmless, they like to hang around a lot because they are CLINGY, and he is opportunistic like his name would imply XD So if anyone has seen it, I'd say him? It isn't like Hero is intentionally trying to hide his face, if he could safely remove his helmet on the planets he probably would because it's stuffy in that thing. Something about being trapped in the very enclosed ship with "monsters" even friendly ones has him hesitant to take off the only thing between his face and a stray claw from someone gesturing too excitedly. It is accidentally a special thing. Thank you so much for this ask, I love how deeply it made me think about the situation!!! (Also please feel free to double dip asks anon if you were hoping for a doodle /genuine!!!)

I saw someone on this app make a slay the princess swap au so as a normal sane person does I made 30 fake screenshots of a slay the princess swap au (I’m going to call it “Slay the monster” cus I am uncreative)
