I saw a headcanon from someone about Barry being afraid of thunderstorms and lightning after being struck by lightning that gave him super speed. And I'm thinking about the potential this could have. Imagine Barry standing still and unable to move out of fear when he meets Mark Mardon for the first time. This guy isn't just a natural disaster, he can set a target for his lightning bolts and right now that target was Barry. That's got to hurt a lot. It would no longer be just a fight against another super villain, but a fight with himself, his fears.

Noticed a peculiar shot while rewatching Legends of Tomorrow, a blink-and-you-miss-it sort of thing.

In S1 E12, in the scene where Mick is going to talk to his younger self, Snart can be seen cradling a baby in the background.

I fear the placeholder title may be a bit misleading so allow me to clarify; Barry’s royalty (a prince), Len is not but his father was Captain of the royal guard (also, it is through writing this that I learned much of my ‘knowledge’ of royalty comes from Disney movies💀)

Shortly before the events of the story, the kingdom of Central is overthrown. No one knows how he managed to do it, the castle had been thought to be impenetrable to anyone not wanted… alas, Eobard Thawne invaded and killed the king and queen in their own throne room; sparing the prince.

Now, Leonard Snart has been invited to an event celebrating the new king’s victory. He attends, more to get a lay of the land if you will, but ends up getting much more than he bargained for.

Excerpt from chapter 1 (and disclaimer that everything is in flux because it’s still draft one)

Len strode over to the throne, loud enough as to alert the prince of his arrival. Forced to kneel beside the throne, he was dressed in clean, noble garments, and a golden band of metal had been affixed to his neck as well as shackles around his ankles, but he appeared to be unharmed. Still, Len highly doubted that. The outfit was just a bit too clean, covering a bit too much skin. He couldn’t jump to conclusions however. Len knelt down next to Barry, an effort to humiliate him just a bit less, perhaps. “Prince,” He said, in a tone slightly softer than his usual drawl.

Barry looked over at him, well, tried to. The golden collar was attached to a short length of chain bolted to the ground; restricting his movement heavily. “What do you want?” His voice was quite hoarse and had a slight crack to it, but still stronger than expected.

to me Leo (and Leonard, and every other version of them) are Jewish so they had a Jewish wedding! Usually the wedding ring is owned by the groom and given to the bride under the chuppah, but since, yknow, no bride, Leo gave his ring to Ray, and the circling tradition was modified for them both to circle one another, and Ray also presented Leo with a ring and quoted from the Songs of Songs, and they selected guests to read their seven blessings, and they both broke the glass together! They spent their time in yichud chilling while Ray got Leo food, cuz Leo fasted until their wedding. their wedding feast wasn't separated by gender at all, so everyone could party together!!!!!!!

and they got absolutely dripped out with their suits, Leo wore a really really dark blue almost black one with a lighter turtleneck underneath, and the sleeves pushed up to his elbows. Ray went for a more traditional suit, black, but his tie and pocket square were shimmery gold!

also i'm picturing they also had matching pink nail polish, for some reason

So I have actually reblogged two of these games recently and since this feels more summary-ish than title-ish to me, I'm going to use the first game as a kinda baseline (ish) and give you title, tags, and a little snippet :D

Snippet:

Barry doesn't really take enough time for himself these days and with the specter of the Reverse Flash's real identity looming over him, he knows he's only gotten worse about it. So it is with great determination that Barry grabs a book he's been meaning to read for months now and heads for a little coffee shop down the street from his apartment that he used to frequent until Iris started at Jitters.

The little shop is, thankfully, still there and Barry ordered a chocolate frappe to enjoy while reading in one of the oversized chairs. He actually does manage to loose himself in the narrative for a change and slowly the tension in Barry's back unwound.

Or it did until, right as Barry was realizing his frappe was empty, someone plunked down two cups of hot cocoa on the table between his chair the formerly empty one beside it and a very familiar voice drawled, "looks like you need a refill."

Barry bookmarked his place and looked over to see Leonard Snart smirking at him from the comfort of a biege chair with blue flowers of some kind all over it. Definitely not quite a match for the purple chair with yellow daisies that Barry had claimed, but the mismatched furniture was part of the shop's charm. And, quite frankly, it's hard for Leonard Snart to look like a scary, scary thief who knows Barry's secret identity while sitting surrounded by flowery fabric.

"Not quite my order, but far be it for me to say no to free cocoa," Barry replied mildly, setting the book aside and snatching up the cocoa nearest him. He took a drink while Snart's eyebrow went up.

"That could have been poisoned, you know."

Barry shrugged and gave a little smirk of his own, though he did glance around the room cautiously before replying. "Fun perk of my powers is that poisons, toxins, drugs, whatever... don't really work on me anymore. I burn through them too fast. Sadly this includes caffeine and alcohol and pain medications, but..." he shrugged. "You could have put strychnine in here and I probably wouldn't even notice unless it messed up the taste."

That's a good question, I had to think about it. And you are not being rude at all.

I did like Oliver with both Helena and McKenna there was a lot of potential there in those relationships and I wish they'd been developed more. I found the characters of both women also very interesting and would've loved to see more of them.

Having Oliver and Samantha work things out and possibly work out as a couple would've been an interesting road too. Even though they would've had a lot to work through, what she did to Oliver was just unforgivable in my opinion but Oliver is a far better person than I am.

I think Sara and Snart had a lot of potential. Same goes for Sara and Zari and Sara and Constantine. I really wish the Legend writers would've gone down the Sara/Zari route, it could've been so great and would've made a lot more sense than Sara and Ava which came out of nowhere, Sara and Zari had built up and development.

I also think Sara and McKenna or Sara and Helena could've been fun pairings. Or you know throw Oliver in the mix and it would've been a party.

But in my opinion Oliver and Sara are the perfect fit, they work very well together and they have such a deep love, understanding and respect for each other. They know the other inside out and know they can trust the other completely and that there is nothing they could do to change the way they feel about each other.

Yeah, I think those are all the other people I could see them with.

Oh wait, Oliver and Kara have potential too. Or Oliver and Constantine, don't ask me why, I just find the thought amusing and part of me thinks it could actually work, lol.
