I found myself surrounded by companions daring to tackle a real software architecture challenge. We shared a good wine and cheese to conquer it together! (Unfortunately, there’s always something waiting to be dealt with on Monday.)
The glow of my Neovim terminal in Monokai theme reflects my rhythm — a guy who doesn’t stop on weekends but knows that balance isn’t about being all-in, all day.
The setup screams character: a seamless fusion of productivity and comfort. Lazygit commands at my fingertips, a Ghibli-esque avatar paired with Neofetch adding a touch of Tumblr aesthetic, and a playlist of Korean indie OSTs playing in the background to add depth to every keystroke.
This is how I drive — in code, creativity, and moments that are unapologetically mine.

And I will keep going. Because I deserve this. I deserve this degree. I started this fight and I'm going to finish it. I can do this. Depression is lying to me. I am capable. YOU are capable.
There's something to be said about the video game analogy with the struggle of success. Recently, I beat a major final boss in a video game. I won't go into detail for spoilers' sake.
My first attempt, I got obliterated on turn two. I looked up a guide and tried again. I thought I had figured out the pattern, and still got taken out several turns into phase one of a three phase fight. So I backed out, and decided to max out my party's levels and unlock all their skills.
I stepped back from the seemingly impossible situation, and spent three hours grinding. It was boring. It was tedious. But it was necessary, and I knew that. It was all going to be worth it in the end.
There was a point during this three-hour period where I said "The enemies I have to actually fight give me more EXP than the lower level auto-battles, so even though they take more time I'll go for those, too."
I went back to the boss after maxing out everyone's levels and skills, and while I still had to focus and think about my decisions in battle, I won. And there's a really cliche sappy life lesson in that.
This is super freaking cringe and I will not apologize. My ramblings must be freed to the hellsite so I may share motivation or whatever. You can do it, nerds.

Getting ready to get back to work!

Today, I tried to survive the hot temperatures we've been experiencing in Madrid, while also preparing everything for the upcoming week. I've been on vacation for the entire month, and I believe it's time to get ready for what lies ahead. I even managed to find time to get my hair done and go to the gym before the heat became too intense!
My current plan is to continue working out and studying for the Microsoft PL-100 certification, which is currently my next objective. Also, I wanna get the hang of posting here more often, and maybe come up with more elaborate posts in the future.
I hope all of you had an amazing start to the week 💜

So I work in software engineering which means I spend pretty much all day at work coding or dealing with data. The thing is I learned to touch-type in French so I use a CMS keyboard instead of the US keyboard but most programming languages use characters that aren’t on the CMS keyboard like []{}<> so I keep having to switch to US keyboard for one character and then switch back and I’ve realised that ctrl+shift is just second nature to me when I have to type. I love brains sometimes. Even when they suck they’re so interesting.
Now, I often forget to switch back and end up with < instead of ‘ all the time lmao but we don’t talk about that.
#not whump#I don’t know what to tag this#I so rarely talk about work#because I don’t even work in the field I’m pursuing a career in#it’s a problem#I’m an astronomy student working in telecom software engineering

Daily Journey : Day 2
Hi guys, how are you?
Yesterday we learned about HTML, one of my professors did a mini project during class and then they divided us into groups to do another mini project in 15 minutes.
Lesson considerations: -
Both teachers are funny, so the classes are cool. -
As I've spent a month studying MDN's documentation and projects there, html is not a problem for me. Now Css...... that's another HUEHUEE story. (Including today's class)
Sometimes I feel bad that my brain doesn't process as quickly as others, but that's who I am and it's not something I can change. I always absorb better more calmly.
I was nervous about doing a group project, besides not being good at it (and yes, I know I have to improve) we are 10 women for 20 men, so it's complicated.
Despite my group having 7 men, they didn't lack respect for me and the other woman giving ideas and I hope that continues. And if it doesn't continue, it's imposing my quarrelsome strength HUEHUEEU.
The good thing is that today I'm already prepared for a possible group project again.
Negative points:
The people in the group, after the end of the class, were not committed to finishing the project like me and the other student. (It was not mandatory, but the teacher recommended it)
So for me this was already a possible redflag, because if something basic and fast was like that, imagine a bigger one? But it was random, we didn't choose each other, so I hope that when it comes to group work for the grade I can land with a better group
Yes, you will have gossip here UEHUEHHEHUE.
Now rewatching the class: -
Just watching it again I understood things that yesterday I wasn't getting.
And again, I'm like that, I think I'll even talk to the teacher so that at the end of the class I'll have 10m of questions about the class the day before.
I finished the project from yesterday's class, and I found out that I had one more because the teacher changed the file. But this one didn't have time for him to ask us to do it, I'll probably try later in the day.
That's it people. May today be better than yesterday and I wish you are having a good day and take care of yourselves.
