y'all....this au is insane. like genuinely one of the coolest concepts i have seen in this fandom. lance, taken by the galra as an infant and raised by them (altho they treat him like shit, obviously, so fair warning for that), as an asset, because they know he is the blue paladin, because he can See things he should not be able to see? and then he has to get integrated into voltron...yall nothing i can say can do this au justice. there's this almost ethereal feel to the entire fic, there were several moments where my chest was swoopy and my breathing was off bc i was like oh god oh god oh god. the complicated relationships, lance's struggle, and ALSO BONUS!!! das thace!!! i miss dad thace!!! do my fellow voltron geriatrics remember when dad thace was everywhere!! bc i do!! and i miss it!!!

I can't believe it's been 4 years.... I started playing it when I was Sam's age...now I am ....Vargas's age....

But trust me my interest and passion for Twisted Wonderland started around 2018... When Yana dropped such "a bomb" on her twitter with a Disney collab and a thank you 100k followers sketch with Crewel, Crowley, Trein/Lucius and the Yami no Kagami.... I was doomed when I saw "le fanart" of Malleus rising of a coffin then.... I was like....OMGGG ooohhh monnn dieeuuu....that art Yana-senseiiiii....isn't it Maleficientttt!!! I became such ....such the most platoniiic lover/fan-girl ever of Malleus *staring at him with dead fish eyes and not speaking* My kakkoi dragon fairy, Maleficient grandson!! And I literrally "harassed" my partner in crime @twiwoncrackpopcorn everyday with it, being a 90's baby Disney's fan and Yana-sensei's one too.... I was searching every infos on the internet, every little crumbs about it!! I expect it to be bittersweet, angsty and somehow heartwarming. I think there's nothing to say except let's wait and find out.

⚜. he's very insecure because of his childhood, he feels like a failure and a burden so he requires lots of patience and reassurance. also he can act childish if he is asked not to be so clingy, he might get pouty, but after he calms down, he will apologise for overwhelming you.

⚜. he's giving his all to you, he never felt so in love with someone before and he would do everything it takes to keep you with him. he tries to show love as best as he can but he was never truly loved by his family himself. he takes inspiration from the romance books he read while he was bored in the prison world, which never fails to make you feel like a princess.

"No they weren't with us, I think she was with- " Caroline starts but gets interrupted by Kai : "They were with me. And as a matter of fact, they can't move for obvious reasons" he says, smirking. The absence of reaction from your friends caused him to keep going. " I railed them, obviously, " he adds, chuckling. "Oh come on don't look so shocked it's not like you never fucked anyone before, no one here is a virgin as far as i know, especially not Damon, this little whore".

⚜. his nicknames for you are soooo random because he flirts with you any given moment, there is "sweetheart, princess, pretty girl, gorgeous, my love, babe and little devil", ironically he loves calling you the latter whereas you are the angel of the two of you, his angel. that's his name for you in his phone by the way, because he really sees you as a guardian angel.

⚜. he is super expressive and his reactions are the sweetest. The moment he saw you dressed up or trying a new make-up look, his jaw would literally drop and turn into a chuckle. He would put his hands on his mouth, and his eyes would widen. "you are fucking gorgeous y/n. how did I get so lucky." he says and embraces you into a hug.

⚜. his favourite thing is when you teach him about the new things he never got ahold of. Like when you show him the latest horror movies, he gets fascinated by the special effects and smiles like a little kid, or when you download instagram for him. speaking of, he is not a big fan of social media, he thinks it’s supid and useless and it cuts you off from reality.

⚜. he is canonically very childish and gets excited over small things. like if you surprise him with a burger from the mystic grill, he’ll get all giddy and of course, eat it like a pig. you bought a small crumbs vacuum and forced him to use it so that the couch would not be constantly dirty with his pork rinds leftovers.

So. I played Side Order (or rather I finished Side Order, aside from a few completion marks that doesn't offer any spoiler stuff!).

I've been seeing stuff on Tumblr, on Discord servers, on YouTube comments by people who were… Not entirely happy with it. Or rather disappointed. "They could have done more…", "This character was underused…", "I preferred the Octo Expansion…", "Let's re-write it for something better…". And let me tell you, I was (and still am) infuriated when reading these. Not because those comments and posts and messages were unfair, unjust and idiotic or anything (well maybe the re-writing thing was uncalled for), but because I actually loved that DLC. I think that's pretty normal to be angry with seeing a thing you love being shit on, even if I get what all of you meant. But I still wanted to share my own thoughts (because why not, I like saying what I think).

First and foremost, let me just say that I have a pretty different relation with Splatoon than most people. I was in since the release of the first game. I didn't play it due to a lack of Wii U, but I watched a lot of videos. And I liked it! I even had Splatoon OCs, I could be considered a fandom veteran at this point! But after some years, I put it at the back of my head as something I loved. When the Switch came out, I didn't have the money for it and no one would buy me one, so I continued to be a PC gamer. And when I saw the news of a Splatoon 2, I dismissed it like it was something silly, "what can you say more about Splatoon!?" I knew there was some new idols, some stuff about a DLC, Callie being kidnapped, but that's all. I dismissed all of this, and as a result I don't have much of an attachment for it. But in 2021, when I saw the news about a third game, I was ecstatic again. And in 2022, when I finally could afford it, I bought a Switch. Not just any Switch, the Splatoon themed one, and I pre-ordered the game. And when it came out, I spent less than a day to finish the story mode, and it was one of the best day of my life, I played Splatoon for 16 entire hours. Splatoon 3 is now my most played game on the Switch, more than 300 hours (that can seem not that much for some of you, but I'm a casual gamer, I don't play every day, so that's still a lot!). I even bought Splatoon 2 and the Octo Expansion after that. Splatoon 2 story mode was incredible, because that's the game I never got to play but more mastered. Octo Expansion was incredible, because it was… incredible. But I still liked Splatoon 3 story mode better. Is it because I've played it before? Because I hadn't the one year of unskippable Off the Hook news to make me like them before the DLC (to be fair I didn't know much of Deep Cut too!)? Because it clicked more on me? Honestly I don't care. It's not important, because it's still my preferences. But let met tell you, when the news of Splatoon 3 DLC dropped, I was roaring. Every crumbs of news and trailers widened my life expectancy. I was finally sharing the hype that you felt for Octo Expansion. And…

Two days ago, I played it. And I loved it. Why? Why did I love it where so many people seem disappointed? This will not be an analysis, I'm not good at those, just… Here's how I see things. Also there will be huge spoilers so if you haven't censored the tags for whatever reason, I will hide it beneath a read more because I'm nice.

First, the gameplay. When I heard it was going to be a roguelite, I was intrigued, because it seemed interesting. I was wondering how it was going to play out, more like The Binding of Isaac, or like Hades… Okay I only played those two. And it was like Hades. But I think the best thing to come out of this gameplay is… Well, the fact is every mission from all other story modes (including octo expansion) are pretty much the same in that they have an intended way to be beaten. Sure, for OE and S3 you have a choice of weapons, and there's probably unorthodox ways to finish them (including speedruns), but it's still organised around a specific way to deal with the levels. You go at one point and there you're done. And that's why I will never re-play the story modes I already finished. I know the ropes, so… Why? But here… The gameplay itself doesn't change much. It's an amalgamation of most Splatoon gameplay since now, Salmon Run, Ranked Match, Octo Expansion levels… But the way you APPROACH this gameplay is different and that's why every thing changes. Because you are now free to choose. You don't want a stage? Choose another one, the cost of a good chip and membux not being that punishing, you want a specific type of chip? Go for it! There is so much fun combos to do, I have fun at every run! They told us it was going to be replayable. And they haven't failed to give. Because when I want to replay a game, then I know it's good. Aside of multiplayer games and games made to be replayable (TBOI, Dishonored…), some of favourite games are Half-Life 2 (my favourite game in general), Hollow Knight and Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story. Once you've finished exploring it all, well there is nothing else. But I still want to experience it again. And again. I have tens and even hundreds of hours on each of them. So yeah. If a game makes me want to replay it, I like it! And also… The final fight. The "phase 2" of the final fight. It was probably the most satisfying gameplay in all of Splatoon. Every path you took? Every path you didn't take? It was there. And you could experience it all together and finally finish your first run, empowered by it, in-game and outside. This was so good. I really wish we will get updates like more stages, bosses or even chips, because wow.

Secondly, the atmosphere. This point will be much shorter, but holy shit this game was incredible to be immersed into. The cold and sanitised atmosphere of the Spire? Amazing. Obvious Portal and liminal spaces vibes, but hey. And the music… Really the music makes a lot of it. The final fight music is absolutely incredible, one more time, and the credits theme is probably my favourite credits theme of every Splatoon game and DLC (that VIOLIN, that heckin' VIOLIN). I wouldn't be able to say which one of Octo Expansion and Side Order's atmospheres was my favourite. I guess I'm less sensitive to childhood memories and such but hey. Both DLC's atmospheres were incredible good.

Finally… The sore point of everything I guess, the story. I guess we expected more. Even myself, I expected something darker, deeper, more mysterious and esoteric… Have I been disappointed. No. I understand that some people were, but I am not. And frankly, I feel like I don't have to be. Like what do we really wished for? More octoling lore? Marina's past uncovered? Mature themes and dark atmosphere? I am just describing Octo Expansion. We didn't need Octo Expansion 2.0. Every theme that I've seen wished for? Octo Expansion tackled them, greatly even. So did we really need to do the same thing again? I feel like Splatoon 3 was the great conclusion of the other games' story modes, where all marine life finally united against the common enemy: mammals, the past of Earth's life coming back for its great revival. And it was a spectacular conclusion. And Side Order was Octo Expansion's conclusion. But it wasn't that bombastic, it was more of a calm conclusion, an epilogue of some sort. Marina wasn't in great danger or anything (well she was but less than we expected), we didn't need to expand the damsel in distress role for confirming Marina and Pearl's relation (which was pretty much hinted on greatly without it lmao), we already knew that. We didn't need some dramatic story about Marina's departure's effect on the one she was close to, like some people predicted for Acht. I think some fan comics explored this way better and Nintendo telling their own version would have been disappointing either for it or for the fan comics' versions! We didn't need more insights on Eight, because once again Octo Expansion ALREADY did this. Eight seems happy with their new name and identity, so why should we uncover more? They already won a lot with Octo Expansion and their sacrifices would have been dull if there were reveals on "who they really are".

Nah. Side Order, how I see it, is a story about fixing the damage made in the Octo Expansion. It's a story about recovery. About finally confirming your place in the world and accepting that everything will not be like you think it will. Acht is not there to expose Marina's errors, Acht is there to show how this recovery can work. She symbolises every octoling Marina left when she quit the army and ESPECIALLY every octoling she swore to help. And she's also there because it would have been less interesting to see an octoling we've never seen before, especially since she is an octoling we knew got Kamabo Co.'d! Every palette is someone we already know, an anchor to the world of Splatoon, and for Eight, an anchor to their memories, as the locker was their palette. As they know more and more people, they know more and more where their place in the world is. And the end of your first run? The start of the final boss phase 2? Yeah the music is Pearl, Marina and Acht's. But it is Eight's pulse that got everything back together. Their heart beating made the world beating again. They found freedom, now they found their place in the world. They're finally complete. Like you complete your palette with every chips at once. Octo Expansion final fight was their last fight for freedom. But I think this was their last fight for identity.

But outside of that, I think Order/Smollusk is more than that. More and more we advance through completing the palettes, we learn that Smollusk is the result of Marina's wish for order in her life (and her fellow octolings') and especially the other octolings developers dreams. And I think that's really important, because after that, we learn that why Smollusk still fights us is because it's… alone. And Acht seemingly understands that. You know why this is? Why it doesn't understand Marina's intentions by "betraying" it? Because Marina, as opposed to the other developers and Acht, found someone. She found her partner for life, the love of her life you could say, she found someone else that could offer her something great. And I think the other developers didn't find that companionship, so they had other goals with the Memverse, and Acht, left behind by Marina, felt this loneliness too, taking refuge in music, so that's why she understood what Smollusk felt. I think Splatoon story is a lot about isolation, solitude and loneliness. The (Inkadian) octolings were chased from the surface, living in the underground, isolated and forced into military life. When they risked survival, they stole the great zapfish and we sent then back into the dark. So they retaliated by stealing it again and also kidnapping Callie, separating Marie from the person she holds dearest (while Callie thought she could offer them company and finally uniting back the two people). Octo Expansion was also about isolation from the surface, for everyone involved and Tartar… Well the mammal (and adjacent) survivors don't really have it well, huh? Judd was made immortal, a great lonely situation for one of the last mammals, even if the professor give him Lil Judd for that (isolating the latter from self expression, oops!), Tartar wanted finally someone who could understand the knowledge he was bearing, and in his final instants was longing to return to the professor and for Grizz… We saw what happened in the logs! But this is not where it ends. The first final Splatfest was literally choosing between the Squid Sister, separating one from the other. And when the Splatocalypse happened, we thought it would be the same, that both option were going to be negative. A endless world of anomy where nothing makes sense against a cold and dystopic dictatorship. But we saw Chaos rather meant a world of differences where anyone can be what they want to be and still be reunited with people. So now we see what Order meant: reuniting people by putting them on equal terms. And at the end, that's what you and Smollusk agreed on! He'd be a difficult final boss and you'd be a formidable opponent for him! Splatfests weren't meant to be divisive or anything, it's just a fun way to see what do people choose in their life. So to face loneliness and meet new and fun people, what will you choose? Chaos or Order?

I guess I understand if it wasn't the story you wanted to see. But I liked it either way, as I also struggle with loneliness and finding my place in the world. And as I also like roguelites!

“Okay, be safe and behave well, alright? Don’t give your dad a hard time”

Your kids hugged your leg before running back to your husband’s side.

“We will! We love you mummy! Bye-bye!”, your older son spoke as he got into the car. Chan buckled your two sons in their respective safety car seats.

Chan quickly made his way to your side after closing the car door. He looked at you with a smile on his face. You cupped his cheek as he looked down at you. “Make sure you drive safely”, you reminded him. He nodded while laying his hand against your hand that was on his face. He kissed your palm before leaning to leave a peck against your lips then your forehead.

“I will. Make sure you take your time to rest up. I’ll pick up your favourite later for dinner”, he replied.

You nodded your head, pulling your hand back to your side. “Okay…you need to go now before you’re late for the shoot”. Chan let out a chuckle, pecking your lips once more before running to his car. “Love you!!!~”, Chan yelled, making a smile appear on your face. 

“Love you too chris! Come back home soon!”, you waved goodbye as your husband and children drove off to their awaited distination.

Chan was invited to be part of a variety show which focused on Korean actors/idols who are fathers, doing challenges with their child(ren)s. In Chan’s case, he was required to bake some bakery goods with his children.

Initially he was a bit worried about exposing his children to the media but then you reassured him that it was alright. After all, your children did love watching the variety show that he was invited to be part of.

“Why is the camera so big? Can we see space through that?”, your older son pointed to the cameraman holding the camera near him. It made the staff there burst into laughter.

Your son only blinked blankly before helping Chan to shape the dough. Your younger son was making a mess which made Chan panicked. Noah, who was only 1 years old, only let out a cute laugh, unbothered by the mess he had made.

“OH NAURRR NOAH!!..your mom is going to kill me”, Chan pulled the bag of flour away from your son.

*cue chan’s cries*

“Dad? Why would mom kill you? Doesn’t she love you?”, your older son, wolfy blurted out. Chan looked at wolfy then Noah then back to the camera. “Help me”, he mouthed to the camera. Chan knew he was for sure going to get memed so badly after this episode went live. The fandom wasn’t going to let dad!chan panicking and running away without memeing him first.

After an hour, Chan managed to get himself together. The cookies he made with his children may not look tasty but it was sure edible. “Just add sprinkles and you can barely taste the burnt part”, Wolfy talked to the camera. Chan covered his face in embarrassment.

“We should have uncle felix as a guest star for this episode. He makes better cookies than dad”, Wolfy added on which made everyone in the room burst into laughter.

“WOLFY! SHH”, Chan covered wolfy’s noisy mouth. Noah giggled, making grabby hands to pull his older brother’s hair. “Wooo-fi!!”, Noah called out. Wolfy hugged Noah who sat on the baby chair with a cookie in one hand.

“Dad…”

“Yes Wolfy?”

“Please wash my hair when we get back. I think Noah sprinkled cookie crumbs on my hair”

Chan looked at Wolfy and Noah -_-’

“Yes son”

Let’s just say that Chan fell asleep almost immediately after he got home with his kids. That was probably the last variety show he was going to accept to be part of, if it involves cooking/baking.

I've posted quite a few rambles in my #mr delver i wont u... tag but lemme see if i can't post a few more organized hcs...

Childhood

Raymond suffered neglect and emotional/physical abuse at the hands of his mother. Not really clear on the specifics but I know Audrey Delver regretted having him and/or he was an accident.

His father has never been in the picture and Audrey has never talked about him, except to use him as a negative comparison for her son in moments of rage ("You're just like your useless father!" etc)

Raymond spent as much time out of the house as he could, staying over at friends' houses and staying late at school.

He was raised faithful, some sort of protestant, and was a true believer for his entire childhood. Many of his fears at this point in his life were spiritually based and inwardly focused, bordering on religious OCD (what if im sinful and god punishes me, what if god punishes my mom, i need to pray for this or that or disaster will strike, etc)

Raymond's first brush with grief (which he navigated mostly on his own) involved a tragic pet death.

He was a big fan of Superman as a kid, and watched both the animated movies by the fleischers and the adventures of superman TV show from the 50's

College

Raymond was an asshole in college

Definitely an academic type, had a big head, sexist, anger issues

He had a hard time making close friendships, but had a few groups of acquaintances he could move among easily.

Slept around a bit, had a couple legit girlfriends that didn't pan out, and eventually met Maria here

Marriage

He did originally marry Maria with the intent of starting a family with her

Definitely a very rigidly traditional marriage to the point where Maria gave up any career aspirations to stay at home.

As demonic activity became apparent at River Fields, and only ramped up in frequency, Raymond kept putting off having children with increasingly banal excuses

This, combined with his constant need to be at work and out of the house, and his shiftiness around his work secrets, led Maria to believe he was cheating on her (or possibly a necrophile)

Originally, Raymond had a good relationship with Maria's parents and impressed them with his ambition. As their marriage deteriorated, so too did his relationship with his in-laws

Present day

His psychosomatic issues are becoming unmanageable but he is ignoring it he does not see it it's fine

These issues include dissociation, joint pain/inflammation, blurred vision, vertigo, headaches, and muscle tension

On the incredibly rare occasion that he has a moment to himself, Raymond enjoys reading and has tried once or twice to write a book

He doesn't drink anymore but his favorite is whiskey neat

Raymond currently lives in some messy townhouse now, having sold his family home to pay for the mortuary, and having sold the house he bought with Maria to pay for demon hunting supplies/trip to egypt/alimony.

It's better this way, he tells himself. No more going home to houses haunted by bad memories.

Most of his personal growth and progress with managing his emotions came after his divorce. Meeting Mr. Salah was a major catalyst for this change both due to the educational nature of international travel and also because Raymond truly looks up and wants to emulate the man himself.

I know ur fic was more Wendy-centric for her development and character, (which, thank you—we love girlboss Wendy, I love her so) but the stendy got me really hooked just because of the way you wrote them ! I like being able to see their flaws as a couple—without wendy being perceived as a total bitch (like some anti’s in the fandom paint her out to be) and Stan being honest with his feelings instead of completely neglecting/ghosting her like he does. In the fic, Wendy does prioritize her life so she can build a life with Stan, but she doesn’t realize she’s hurting him in the process. It’s how the two of them should be written. They do have toxic traits in the show that are very questionable ( their jealousy, for starters… stan’s dependency on her, wendy’s insecurity with everything stan does that’s not controllable…) but it’s times like in this writing where they do grow a bit and finally accept they don’t work out. It’s extremely hard on them because they’ve been so co-dependent that they can’t see life without the other.

on that same coin however, people need to understand that they can work together but they have such big contrasts and complications that they have to work on for the relationship they want.

sometimes they just. need to be on their own to figure that out. and that’s why this story ended up being so good because Wendy found her worth and now knows what and who she is without him.

they need to take care—find themselves before they can have someone else.

Wendy needed this. She’s such an activist in the show and in this story…Stan at the time just wasn’t helping like she thought he was. And he knew. He needed to let go.

Wendy is her own self at the end. It’s so nice to see. We love character development and to see her find confidence in who Wendy Testaburger is and will continue to be.

it was really refreshing, really. thank u <3 thank u for giving wendy depth bc that’s my baby girl and I love her forever

“Thanks for helping me, Y/N.” Eret said as he walked up to you. You were dusting the windows, Eret helping get the spots you couldn’t reach. Your lover told you he was planning to clean up the place a little, and you knew it’d be a lot of work due to how big the place was, so you decided to surprise her by helping out! You showed up with some cleaning supplies, knowing you were welcome into the castle anytime, and the king of the SMP was more than grateful.

“Mhm!” You responded, too focused on cleaning. Eret took your duster from you, saying he could take over and suggested you organize chests instead. Your arms were getting tired from constantly having to extend then to reach the higher spots, so you gladly accepted your new task.

The silence was always comfortable with Eret. The two of you could sit and say nothing for hours without it becoming awkward. Just laying and relaxing in their embrace was more than comfortable, and you knew they felt the same. Though at this moment, you wanted something to fill the silence, and since you didn’t have a jukebox on you, you’d have to settle for the next best thing. Singing.

“I heard there was a special place, where men could go and emancipate, the brutality and the tyranny of their rulers…” The king froze. She’d heard this song many times before. They had to admit, it was a beautiful melody. She just didn’t enjoy the newer version of the song, specifically the part where her name was included. He hadn’t heard this song in ages. But he didn’t want to interrupt you, so she instead continued to clean and braced for what was coming up.

“Well this place is real, you needn’t fret! With Wilbur, Tommy, Tubbo, and Eret! It’s a very big and not blown up L’manberg!” This time, Eret turned and looked at you. Had he heard that correctly? She watched as you were crouched down, throwing some things onto the floor into multiple piles, before putting those piles into their own chests. You felt eyes on you, and had to hide your smile. You didn’t know why this one was the first song that came to mind, but you decided to sing it anyway. Although you decided to switch up the lyrics to see how your royal partner would react.

“My L’Manberg, my L’manberg, my L’manberg, my L’manberg…” You finished, finally finishing up with your chore. You heard the sound of Eret’s boots hitting the wooden floors approaching you, before feeling arms wrap around your waist and your queen nuzzling her face into your neck. You smiled and moved your hand up to play with some of his hair.

“Y/N…”

“Hm?”

“Thank you for including me, darling.” You felt him press a kiss to your neck, trailing up to your cheek. You giggled and shifted to place a peck on his lips.

“Anything for you, my queen.” You replied, wrapping your arms around their neck and pulling them close to you. Maybe the cleaning could wait for another day. <33

Honestly, I’m not too sure how I feel about the DreamSMP ending. I’m kind of glad it ended, and I see why they did it, as it wouldn’t have been the same without Techno. But at the same time, I’m gonna miss everything. But like Tubbo said, everything must come to an end eventually. I’ll continue to write for the fandom, so feel free to go all out with DSMP asks once requests are opened again. I want to help keep this fandom alive. Just remember that things will get better, and you can take as much time as you need to heal. The news hit us all hard, you’re allowed to mourn in any way you see fit for as long as you want to. Just Nope ✋

I hold no greater ire for anything in comics than Immortal Beloved. May it rot in the depths of Asgardian sewage. Bear with me as I explain why I loathe Immortal Beloved with a passion. In no terms should this story be applauded. It is a pure insult to the SuperWonder fandom. If you can’t see it for what it is, let me explain.

Basically, it's a big f-u to SuperWonder fans. The message DC is saying with this is that it will always have Lois with Superman no matter what. They can toss out a few crumbs here and there but they will never give us the pairing, friendship or otherwise in live action or TV show.

It’s written so badly. It creates this paradox putting Superman into a cheating place in his relationship with Diana. In one instance, he gives up his life to go fight with Wonder Woman but at a minute before 1,000 years is up, it's hey it'll always be 'what's her name'. Oh and here's a trinket for you, Di. Pfffttt. Paradoxes with this story. As if he's some kind of alien pope who is infallible. We all know the pope isn't infallible. Everybody wants Superman to be more human. Humans make mistakes. I'm actually glad that the story didn't turn into one where they give in, it would mean that SuperWonder is a mistake. It's not. The only classy way I've seen SuperWonder told is through Kingdom Come. Everything else alludes to a "did they" or "are they" scenario. The nuances always point to romance between the two. Probably because they were meant to be together. Duh.

Add to that, Superman has never lived 1,000 years. Nobody who lives that long is the same person at the end. You change. You have core traits but you will be a different person. You should be a better person. Experiences shape you. There would be a high level of maturity. It’s unfathomable though to regular humans with life spans up to 80 on average to even wrap their minds around it. If he decided to go all in with Diana and have a family, they'd come back very different people having to deal with a reality that wouldn't accept them. It would be the wrong time for them to come together. In this instance, this is where Kingdom Come has no barriers to SuperWonder. The hindrances are gone.

Granted Diana has lived long. Although being that Themyscira is in another dimension so to speak. Time is different. Her longevity in the Earthly realm isn't a thousand years either.

This comic belongs in the trash bin. Full stop.

But since people like to rewrite stories, here's my idea. I would rewrite it to where Thor summons J'onn J'onzz in place of Diana. That way he can shape-shift into Lois. You’ll have Clark porking Lois, his forever love, battling side by side with superpowers. Pretty sure he’ll wonder how she got them. Maybe the Asgardians gifted them to her, and you’ll have the LGBTQ fans getting something out of it too.

Save Diana.

The woman deserves better. Why demean her like this? Who came up with the 'she's bound to help out with Asgardian affairs no matter what'. Pfffttt. And Kal?

Speaking to this version of dumbed down Kal: If Lois is that important to you, you should have asked Thor for a favor and towed her along. Maybe the Asgardians would have trained her to fight along side while reporting on it in the Valhalla Times. Then it would be a truly Lois-centric story.

All jokes aside, if DC won’t put SuperWonder together in a normal healthy romantic union then don’t do this to them either. (I know this is an old comic.)

See I blame DC for this. The gapping hole they made with eliminating SuperWonder. If we got normal interactions between the two, we could have had moments of friendship but even that wasn’t allowed.
